It is funny how I have ended up with certain songs going on in my mind as I have found some of your 'That song by...' caches today. A nice quick find at GZ Thanks capperz
Thought my friend was going over the bank but parked ok. Different hide to normal but quickly spotted. TFTC
Out this way in the morning and decided to give this a go. Not a dot day thankfully but since I had a few moments in my quick tour of Blenheim I though I grab some random caches. Was a little worried about trying for a mirco, but aided by a trust worthy gps and not my phone this was a piece of cake. What did not smell like a piece of cake was walking on the road towards the GZ. The familiar stench of some unlucky critter who'd been turned into road kill sadly filled my nostrils. All i could think of those was 'please don't be splattered over the cache' And I don't where it went to die, but very gladly it was not where I was walking. I hope the next catcher has a more pleasant experience here. As far as this type goes, easy find, good logical hide, nice and dry. Thanks for the cache.

A day out from blenheim towards havelock, than over to the queen Margaret drive to reach Pictor and back to blenheim
That's the plan
And some caches might be picked up, if weather and time and the eyes permit it
Signed most logs as B52

This one took three near-attempts as first we were on the wrong side of the road, then the wrong side of the river, but on the way home we were finally in the right place and Annacons whipped out to grab and sign. Tftc.
Today we mostly targeted PnG caches to help boost our July numbers to go towards a challenge in the North Island, The weather was sunny but still with a chilly wind so was always warmer in the car than out of it. We managed 57 cache finds and ended the night on a high note with a FTF in the fresh snow and dark at St Arnaud. Overall we totaled 107 finds for the weekend - blowing the challenge out of the water!
It was nearly dark now and with traffic picking up we decided to go for just the caches on the left while heading out of town but when we got to this one the coast was clear and we knew the location would make for a quick grab. Thanks for the cache

I had hoped to have a big day caching before catching the ferry back to the North Island in the evening. However with it being so wet, I just found 17 caches - and gave up my all-day plan and caught an earlier ferry. I signed each log in the car, and returned as found. Thanks for the cache.
arrived at GZ wasn't long before we spotted the cache hiding place

Nice day for a bike ride so me and Jo headed off to do lots of the caches between Blenheim and renwick and beyond. A pint at the cork and keg as well so all up a productive and enjoyable day. TFTC to everyone
A personal challenge day for us. Beat our 'most caches in a day. After a late start we left Motueka at 9:45 and headed south. First cache was about 50KM away. Once we got to SH63 it was park and grabs all the way to Blenheim. From there it was a few caches in town before a burger and a return to Motueka. Home 11:20pm with target achieved. Thanks to all the cache owners for their placements.
A nice quick find with tmann and P.Emily while in the area for the weekend.

So a few weeks in the planning phase, me and Surveybase finally got out and about for a mission. Through Hanmer, up the Molesworth to Blenheim, across through St Arnaud, Murchison and then home. 209 caches for the weekend and a pretty high success rate. Thanks to all the cache owners and sorry for the cut and paste. Cheers.
Out and about on a pleasant Thursday evening with Kiwimykl, converting caches into smiley faces. He has already found this one which could have made it easier for me, but I didn't need his help for a QEF as he had shown me this type of hide once before when we came across on in the Nelson Lakes.

On our way to Kaikoura we wanted to get some more South Island smilies. Thanks for the cache and yet another ear worm!
The rule when the SIS or in this case the SS cache is that we look for caches no one has found - except when we make and exception. This was an exception - well we were passing and Sidewaze said it was silly not to stop.
Thanks.
Thanks.
A nice quick find after work, although I had wait briefly for traffic to disperse. I retrieved the cache back to the relative comfort of my more modern geo Landrover (21 years old but has air-conditioning) to sign up, then quickly returned the cache. TFTC capperz
Great day for it...so off and out early...going to try to crack the hundred mark today TFTC
A business trip to Blenheim allowed a clean up of a few outstanding caches on the trip. A nice quick find. TFTC
Nice quick find, after spending most of the afternoon at the Omaka Aviation Museum.
Time to get back to the city for some dinner methinks.
Up from Wellington for our short 'Blenheim' convention & holiday weekend.

Find #468 for the BAMMJams - a lovely sunny Labour Day, so we thought we'd head out to start fulfilling our plan of 500 caches by the end of the year.
Cache found easily and quickly, exactly where we expected to find it - the mini BammJams dropped a dice for future swag collectors, but there was nothing for them to collect (in fact, from 12 caches found today, there was only something to collect in one of them!)
A small bit of excitement - a van drove past us in the other direction, stopped, turned around, and came back to ask us of we'd broken down and if we needed any help - "Ah no, we're fine. Thanks all the same" said Mr BammJam - and off they went, completely oblivious to the caching that had just occurred (Mr BammJam was just waiting for a break in the traffic to cross the road after we'd signed). TFTC.

Doing a few caches as I head home for Mega - this was another of the "That Song" series I've found so thanks for placing them all. One day I will get to finish them.
Collecting a few caches on my way to the Christchurch Mega.
A nice quick find here and another good one in the series.

This was our first cache of a short local circuit before heading off to Christchurch.
Not sure I should admit to this one but yes a song I know well. Classic is obviously my sort of taste. A quick find with Kiwi Grandad.
Thanks capperz for the cache.

After a few hours caching in the Leatham Valley I headed down the Wairau Valley towards Blenheim finding a few caches along the way. Spotted the hide on approach. Like the song too. TFTC, Biggles.
Working in the Havelock area and driving there from Blenheim airport.
Just had to stop and get this cache. Parked on wrong side of road but could see cache location. A quick wander in the brisk morning.

This song rates among the best ever performed and rightfully so. When arriving at GZ we always take in the site and try to get a feel for it. We then decided the cache just had to be there and it was. Another 'song cache' under our belt with more to follow today. Thank you Capperz.
If I was asked to name my all time favourite song this would be it. No matter who I've heard sing it I always enjoy it but Simon and Garfunkel are surely the best without a doubt. Thank you capperz.
Off to the Blenheim branch office today, so a chance for some caching on the way.
No! Not that side! That's a real weta and it doesn't want to be disturbed!
Ah! The other side! There you are; that's what I was looking for!
Thanks

Found with Raisinpig while out on my second to last lunch-tome caching adventure. As this is my 121st day of my streak and I only need 122 for my next Project-GC upgrade. There is no-way I will be able to maintain the streak with the limited number of handy caches available to reach the next upgrade, so I have decided to have a cache-free day on Wednesday and remove this monkey from my back.
This and another nearby cache were released only a couple of weeks ago and I have been saving them as my last as they are are so close to where I work... or should I more accurately say... where I plan my next caching adventure.
This lunctime I dropped a TB off at another nearby cache that I had previously found, but was appropriate to achieve the goal of the TB, the got this cache on the way bacy to work. The total time away from work was 17 minutes and it would have been quicker if Raisinpig hadn't fumbled the ball.

Out at lunchtime with Kiwimykl dropping a TB at a nearby cache. Stopped to grab this on the way back to work - and I made it a bit difficult for myself.... with all that traffic wizzing past "wondering" what I was doing bent over the end of the bridge. Got it all signed and replaced in the end.

Love that song. Been to see the last two concerts of Paul Simon in NZ and they were absolutely fantastic. At the one earlier this year Sting and Paul Simon sang this as a duet - it was brilliant. TFTC #7047
Legendary song eh. One of the all time greats. Didn't take long to guess what kind of feature we might come across here and sure enough we were not mistaken. TFTC .
The mighty Hyundai of Mr Marchwood was chucked into a quick u turn as we over shot. A brief pause then hide was spied.

Out on a road trip over the hill again with Bumandworker. Our mission to collect a few Mystery caches that need finding.
Stop number two. My navigator was a bit slow on the countdown so the choice was a 100M reverse to GZ or two U-Turns.
Found a rather nice pen at GZ. Now I can log my finds in green ink.

[green] {FTF} Was in town getting bits for a geocache (was supposed to be getting bits for washing the car but forgot about them) when this came out. I didn't see the email till have an hour later, and figured I'd let it go. Already have an FTF today. It's capperz cache, Kiwimykl is unlikley to go for it as he is working on a streak and already has one for today. GH6710 might be in the hills, raisinpig... who knows?
On the way home, one and a half hours later, I stopped and dealt with a second puncture that I decided had just occurred (the last one being just a few minutes earlier at the last cache I was at). Was pleasantly surprised to find the log still empty. Dropped off an emerald.
For a change - a song I know! Not only do I know this song, but I guessed it before I got here. That's two songs I guessed and maybe 6 I know out of... just how big is this series anyway?
