Hi there Na'wal.

This is the 3rd of 4 caches we didn't find today. Twisted[:(!]

We spent quite some time here picking through all the flotsam and weed, but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us. Twisted

Out today with Bunadoorian to get a few different types of caches and to get some smiles on my map here. I had never been here before and found the experience very interesting. Love the thought of using Minions and after a bit of searching Bunadoorian soon uttered the words - I've got it. TFTC and for bringing us to this area Na'wal

Thanks Na’wal for the series. We enjoyed the walk to all the different minions. Great cache size too for many swaps. The little one loved finding them except for the first one re: pic.
We have the answers, now we have to work out what to do with them all.

Found with FUF009 while caching in and around the Geelong area and then on the way back to Melbourne.
We had some time to kill and I spotted this little group on my app map. Without realising it until we got there, I had been here before but at night.
I was grateful today with unknown hindsight that I didnt do these at the other time. They would have been soooooo much harder!! As it was, this was quite a long walk for 2 slightly damaged-in-the-leg department people. Thankfully it was quite pleasant despite the heat. A nice breeze was blowing. Of course by the time we'd done the full series it was blowing a gale and looked quite stormy. I don't know what all the fishermen going the opposite way to us were thinking (they were heading out as we were returning). Crazy behaviour!! A fun series that I didnt realise had a final until just before we set off. So that was lucky!! Thanks for a nicely done, fun, little series in a neat spot. Tftc

Find # 4964

Found with sharkiefan after visiting Geelong for the Lead up to Parkville event.
I gotta say this is quite an interesting area, the smells, the divers, the wind, the birds and the brief hello to passing fishermen. oh and the caches. I must say it was quite a walk out to find the minions but we managed to make it all in our own pace, made a successful find on all and got all info for the final.

Note for CO. Bill might need looking at as the lid on this one has quite a hole in it.

In the area knocking off a few caches on the way home from work with a few hours up my sleeve. Bill has the honour of being my 150th find! Carried on to do this series after doing the nearby trad. Fairly straightforward find in a place I had definitely never been, have never ventured beyond the boat ramp prior to today. Continued on to the rest of the minions although light and phone battery failed me 3/4 of the way through my adventure. I shall return another day for the remaining minion & his well guarded clue to the final.

Lid has suffered some damage, message sent to CO.

We saw this clump of caches sitting out in "the middle of nowhere" and came on down to explore the area. It wasn't 'til we made the find on this one and read the description that we realised there was a bonus puzzle on offer; hope we have phone reception at the end!

After the Pirates event nearby early this morning a posse consisting of myself, xsurfergirlx, nirgal and Neville devil took a stroll along Avalon Beach. With cache titles around here like "Half way to hell" and "End of civilization" this is certainly an unusual and fascinating environment ...
The end of civilisation was the start of the Minion habitat Wink.
Having a previous finders with us meant we didn't have too much difficulty finding any of the caches in the series.
I haven't really kept up with these Minion characters, but we sure kept two eyes open looking for Bill Smile.
Thanks for the cache and the series, Na'wal.

Needing to get the blood pumping back through cold limbs after standing around at the pirate event, I joined Neville devil in a walk down the beach to watch ThePacman and xsurfergirlx find the Half Way House hide, then back in the opposite direction to the End Of Civilization.

When I was here last, there was nothing beyond that cache. In the meantime, a small army of minions had overrun the sandy further reaches, so we continued further along the spit than I'd ever ventured.

With the occasional bit of prodding by Neville devil, the other three of us had a great time finding the surviving yellow dudes.

This was the first, which I spotted fairly quickly, but was trickier to reach.

Thanks for a fun little series, Na'wal

Was a bit worried I'd never find this when I saw the terrain, but a generous cache size and bang on coordinates made it a breeze. TTFC!

I was heading to Geelong after work and had a puzzle to collect down this was so dropped in to visit Bill, nice guy and all, signed collected clues and went of to the next one. TFTC

I was out chasing unloved caches in the You Yangs and decided I'd stop by here on my way home. Well, not exactly on my way home, but, whatever. As I approached in my car I realised I had made a bit of a miscalculation and had a lot more walking than I had anticipated Note to self: read things properly! Anyway, all good, I thought. I'm here now. So I grabbed my torch and headed off into the rapidly fading light. Found this cache without much difficulty and started heading to the next cache, but I was quite worn out from my earlier efforts in the You Yangs, and it was now pitch black and I was on my own, in what felt like the middle of nowhere, over a kilometre from my car. Then I heard noises. Talking. WTF? Took me a minute to realise it was fishermen talking over UHF, lol! Forgot that was in my bag. I came to the realisation that my heart just wasn't in it tonight, and I had this uneasy feeling that I just shouldn't be there, so I turned around and headed back to the car. Thanks for the cache, I will return … in daylight.

A very warm walk across the smelly seaweed to get to these geocaches along here. I'm sure the fishing is great but I don't think I would like to stay here for the weekend. The heat really kicks up the rotting seaweed smell. This was an easy cache find at the co-ordinates were right on target.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for these geocaches along here. I have been here once or twince for geocaches in the past.

What to do today? Hmmm, I know! I'll come out here, go for a walk and have a go looking for the Minions. Bob was my first stop and coincidentally, he was also my first find. 1 down, 4 to go. Thanks Na'wal.

Minion Madness Adventure #1. It looked like a relatively OK day, so I thought I'd have a crack at these ones... from the water. Put in the rescue board at the boat ramp, and paddled down to Bill fairly easily. Woot! Hmmm... there's a fair bit of rubbish down here, might have to do something about that...
Thanks heaps, Na'wal!

Cannot believe I chose today to head here for some smileys.

The windiest day in nearly 8 years!!

It is probably showing our age, but we certainly had a bit to learn about Minions! Thank fully we were not on our own. Maccamob's David, gave us an explanation of these unicellular organisms, while eagle eyed Au.fait spotted where the cache was hiding.

Our thanks to Na'wal for bringing us to this location.

Found by Mary & David at 1000. Headed off after the CITO with Phetlern and au.fait to tackle this Minions series. Had to re-read the description to work out what we had to do for the final, but quickly sorted that. The cache was being guarded by an egret when we arrived, but he flew off to observe from a greater distance. au.fait made the find. Our thanks to Na'wal.

Found in company with Phetlern and maccamob, but remained puzzled as to where the clue was. Der! TFTC Na'wal

Driving lessons with Timmo98 took us to the surreal little community.

Never having ventured out this far, the more remote it got, the more the rubbish was piled.

360 degree views not blocked by houses, buildings or cars.

A bit of a scrounge for the first cache - gotcha!

Had the nephew staying with us for the weekend.
So decided this series was a great way to spend sometime with him.
I had a look for these in the dark when they were first published and after find this one I don't know how I missed it.
Signed the log and headed of for the next one

A lovely, pleasant day and a good opportunity to find some local caches. Not sure we took the easiest route to this one but we found what we needed to. Glad the tide wasn’t any higher, would have made for even wetter feet.

Thanks Na'wal

We found cheeky minion Bill, hiding where his coords said he'd be. He was tricky to spot, but once we did, we were able to gather the info needed and off to hunt down the other yellow guys. TFTC TNLNSL returned as found. Smile

16-Jan-16
Woohoo!!!
Finally got to log this series today. We planned to meet Arkbell80 and our respective families and do the little hike from the parking. This series went live shortly after we had gathered other caches in this area. Unfortunately it took us a while to get back to clean them up. I dropped off a minion as a companion for the resident minion.
TFTC!!! Smile

We have been planning to do this series of caches for awhile. The GPS jumped all over the place but we got it in the end. Found with Bazinga01 and Posho6. TFTC

27-Dec-15
Found whilst out caching with OutRangerous in the Avalon area. Unfortunately the flies were also out about but was a lovely area and enjoyable walk, once over the initial rock obstacles. interesting series. TFTC

Out for a day's geocaching with Chakram. battling the flies and sunburn in the search for minions. fun location.

25-Nov-15
Went to Avalon to find the minions caches with larafolk. The beach was nice apart from the windy weather!

25-Nov-15
Went to Avalon today to find the minions with DreamyDragon for a nice walk. Other than blowing a gale and being carried off by flies, it was fun. ⛵ We wouldn't have found any of these caches if not for the coordinates! Tftc.

28-Sep-15
We had a free afternoon, and have been wanting to get out to these caches for a while. With miss 11 on crutches for a couple of months, and then not up to full strength for a bit longer still, it really wasn't one we could do any earlier. She braved many a long walk, and even some fairly rough terrain, but the rocks at the start would have proved too much of an obstacle. We finally got here, with Neville-devil and after taking the sludgiest, squishiest way possible, finally found it, before taking a much drier way back to the path. Thanks to Na'wal for the fun!

28-Sep-15
Nice find Cool

12-Sep-15
Poor Bob looked so sad that we had to lend a hand looking for Bill and the other Minions. With our best 'freeze-ray' moves we headed down the path with a keen fishing family close behind. Waited until the coast was clear before finding the cache and gathering the first set of clues. TFTC

Was down near little river today so i thought id get these before work. Enjoyed the stroll. nobody in sight tpday which was good. The wind was very strong and cold but found these quickly enough and ran back to my car. tftc's Smile

Decided to wander out here and enjoy the peace and quiet and watch the wildlife that abounds here.
Lots of rabbits, birds and the odd reptile and a couple of fishermen out on the point.
While looking for Bill there was a young lass taking her pup for a walk but she did not interfere with my searching.
Worked out the required numbers and I was off to the next.

01-Sep-15
My reason for coming to Geelong today was to help Bob find these minions. It was perfect weather for a walk along the beach side resort. the views were great in all directions.
Bill soon popped up to help me find what was necessary to keep Bob happy.
Thanks for showing me this place Na'wal. I wouldn't have been here without you and the minions.

25-Aug-15
Suscoe was heading back to Geelong later this afternoon and a break in the weather permitted a reasonable journey by bike without getting too wet.
This was the first find.
Not being familiar with these creatures Suscoe really had no idea who or what they were.
However with the cache notes firmly in hand lest they get blown to Ballarat the information was recorded.
A few rabbits running down the track in front of Suscoe.
Thanks to Na'wal for placing this cache and this series here.

23-Aug-15
Found! Out with my friend and her two kids and all my nieces and nephews! Great first find - kids are soooo excited!

04-Aug-15
A bit of a challenge day today with Bettyboo3747. After that we went down to the End of Civilization and visited some Minions, then rounded the day off with a few Plane Spotters on the way home.
This was a very windy spot today, walking in wasn't too bad, and that is where we found this cache.
We found Bob and checked out his questions. Answers in hand we blew further along the track.
Thanks, Robmc.

8615. Having cached for 3 days in Ballarat we felt it was Corio's turn today. Robmc and I added a few Challenge caches, wrote a few notes, played with some Minions and spotted some planes near Avalon Airport. All in all a good day's caching visiting some wild, windy spots, some with water views.

After visiting Ray's Outdoor Store and buying a down jacket I was right to attack some caches in bleak winter conditions. With beanie, gloves and coat I was warm as toast. We sauntered past The End of Civilisation and continued on to visit Bill. Great cache - answered our questions and I retrieved a TB to move along. Now off to visit Norman.

The Blue Hummer TB listed here, was in the Final cache today....

Thanks. Na'wal

With blue skies this morning , I thought I better " find cache " while the sun shines. Glad I had another jacket in the car. With the combination of a hoodie and a jacket, it was still freezing. [xx(][xx(] I hadn't been out this way for a while, I see the roads are no smoother. Sad Once I found a suitable place to park, I headed out in search of minions. Enjoyed my stroll out to the first hide, a very fresh breeze on my face. Had no trouble with this hide, onto the next. TFTC Na'wal Big Grin

Enjoying this lovely winters day exploring a part of the world we had never ventured to before. We love Minions so we thought a Minion hunt would complete our day.
After a short search we found Bill in his hidey hole with the information we needed.
Thanks Na'wal for the cache.

Joined up with Darth Briji to check on Bill who was tucked away out of the wet & windy weather.
Enjoyed the series and the walk out here regardless of the weather.
Thanks for the cache Na'wal

FTF. So after getting our phones off charge and turning them back on we realise that Facebook had been going off about a newly published cache somewhat close by. Surely this will be gone already. Check the cache log hmmmm no logs refresh nope nothing refresh again, maybe found and not logged. Bugger it we'll go and have a look see. Driving out that way we were sure we had a fellow cacher with super bright driving lights behind us, quick message nope. Arriving at the parking co-ords we start off for our trek to this first cache. Arriving at GZ gee I found lots of containers nothing that we needed though. Thought I was going to nearly have to paddle for this one. Nope as per normal Na'wal style just let the GPS settle it will guide you there. Bingo a blank log.
