Contacted CO regarding the status of this cache and even offered to adopt it. No caching activity on profile for some years and the listed email address isn't being responded to. I think, unfortunately, that this one needs to hit the archives.

Hasn’t been found since Oct 2018 including by some ‘more experienced’ cachers. Can CO please check

Not 100% sure this was the correct date I searched for this one. I HATE marking DNFs. And I truly wasn't going to log this one! I DO plan on going back and trying again but I had the boys in tow and they were whining about not wanting to keep searching. I was frustrated because a lot of other people indicated they could easily spot the cache but I felt like there was a lot of GPS bounce. So I gave up after quite a long search Sad

Thursday. The SPs were out around the Pullenvale area today. We spotted this interesting looking cache to get. A very pretty area and found the swamp in question. I love these sorts of caches. We didn’t see any koalas however which was a shame. Log signed with our smilie. Fave point for something different!

This was the 1st of 22 caches found on today's trip.

Thanks ***grantmatt018***, for showing us this place. Smile

This was an interesting D/T for a traditional cache, so I took a walk to check it out. Quickly spotted the container at the GZ. Fun way to hide an ammo can. TFTC!

Very unique hide. The walk was well worth it for the cache. TFTC.

Doing an autumn run out west with Gcoven to collect more of the solved pick 'n' hammer GeoArt series. With these puzzles locked away, had some time to collect a few on the way home. This trail looked interesting on the map so a stop by was always going to happen.

With the legs well stretched after a number of earlier drive bys, it was either fly, climb or master crocheting. Taking the last option, spent some time untangling the twine and swatting the mozzies. Thanks for placing an interesting cache grantmatt018.

20-Mar-18
Tftc. I managed to find all the caches along the trail. It‘s a lovely area.

Gosh! My lucky day again. I was a bit off course & spotted it from another angle. Collected the TB, he is off to the airport. All is well here TFTC! I have gently wiped away the ants nest on this cache

Thanks for bringing us along this beautiful trail.

What a great cache. 1MinnieMoo and I found the cache easily, but it took a while to figure out how to get it, made harder still by the light rain fogging up my glasses.

After finding the way down it took a while to figure out the knot of problems that I had to deal with Razz

Eventually we put our name in the book and replaced the cache as intended.

Thanks Smile

The last cache in this area for totalube and I to get today, we wandered on over the creek and soon arrived at GZ, where a cool cache was found. Totalube did what was required to get the cache in my hands... and as soon as I went to open it a number of green ants were upon me. I possibly made an exclaimation or two, but managed to escape without any bites, and between us both we managed to open the cache expecting to find a whole nest of ants inside, but were (pleasantly) surprised to find it any-free. Logbook signed and cache hooked back up ant-free, totalube returned it to its point where it could once again "fly high".
Thanks for the cache grantmatt018.

A lovely walk to this cache. When I arrived at GZ I spotted the cache. I don't mind tree climbing but I thought how am I supposed to get to that cache. No it's not a Terrain 5 where I would need equipment to get it. I read some previous logs. Ok something sounds suspicious. I look at the cache again and noticed how I could get to it. Aha!! Very clever indeed! TFTC! A favourite from me.

While walking to this cache we were kindly notified by a neighbour that this cache was located on private land and the way we had come in was across his land. Any chance this cache could be moved to public space?

11-Aug-16
After reading a few previous logs, i was a little hesitant.
Then i thought I've come all this way, because i think i have almost exhausted all the finds close to home, and I'm not leaving until i have given it a go.
I followed the bush trail over the creek crossing then found myself almost at someones front door. I quickly back peddled and looked for another access point. There is one but not very easily spotted.
My gps read 12 metres away so i stopped and looked around, hoping to see something not right, keeping the hint in mind.
Nothing stood out so i changed my angle.
Ohhh...theres something over there. I think this is it, but how do i reach it.
Finally figured it out. What a brilliant idea. Love it
Thanks for placing this cache here for many to find.
Signed and returned as found.

Little gem. Lovely walk in. Cheers

We were teaching a workshop on geocaching at our annual cadet leaders conference and had headed down this creek to grab a few physical caches and show the real adventure that caching is. At more than 40m from the cache we were confronted by a property owner declaring it was private property and to head back. Being a large group of us, and plenty of newbies, we didn't want to offend the man, and headed back the other way.

We were down in Brisbane today visiting relatives who live not very far from this cache. We had noticed this cache when I search my phone for nearby caches and decided that we should have a look at this after returning from another cache.

We parked the motor vehicle at a good safe parking spot and followed the tracks to GZ. After a short search the cache was spotted and also the mechanism to retrieve it.

The log book was signed and returned to the cache and the cache returned exactly as found.

All is good with this cache.

A geocoin was left to be moved on by a subsequent finder.

Find #437.

Lovely walk to get location. Started looking around the GZ area and suddenly spied our prey. We looked at cache and took a little while to work out how to retrieve it. Once we had worked how it could be retrieved the cache was soon in hand. Getting the cache reset took a lot longer than it should have as 1/2 Modelbear wasn't a Boy Scout when young and needed more practice at specialized skill to put cache back. TFTC and bringing us to this lovely location today.

Unfortunately this was the last find for the day. Jelly the Wonderdog and myself loved the walk to GZ and I quickly spotted the beasty. In no time at all the cache was in hand. We left our mark and replaced the cache as found.

Thanks for the cache grantmatt018 Big Grin

This cache is so clever. At first I saw it and my heart sank... how am I going to get that? But with a cheeky look around, I figured it out. Nice plants nearby here as well. TFTC Smile

Out and about in the area today before meeting up with a friend. Smile
Followed the track from the nearby cache. Smile
A quick find as I found it on the ground. Surprised
Realising where it should be I returned it. Wink
Thanks for the cache.

15-Jan-16
This was interesting, think we did it backwards, we found it on the ground, signed the log, had a look, guessed where it should be, followed, then spied the means so went and now it is again where it should be. TFTC and a favourite point from me.

15-Jan-16
This was the next one we found and when we arrived at GZ we found the cache on the ground.
Signed the log and returned to cache and then worked out how this cache was meant to be and now it is where it should be.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks grantmatt018 Cool All good with this cache

I had seen this little pocket of caches on my map and decided that I should check them out.

A 30 minute drive later I was pulling up at the posted parking spot. It was overcast but still quite warm as I headed into the trail.

I stopped to read the council notices about track maintenance and decided that I didn't have to disobey any signs and headed along the path.

I think I was lucky to find the well hidden branch which led me in the right direction and it didn't take long to arrive at the search area.

The retrieval device was out in the open so it was easy to spot it. Managed to get the cache in hand easily.

A great bit of engineering. A favourite point from me.

I managed to ride almost all the way to GZ for this one. I was surprised how close this one is too the nearby properties. Just a few horses watching me this morning though. Smile

I missed the cache, but quickly found the thing I actually needed. Big Grin Nicely done. A few moments later my name was in the log and I was ready to reset and move on. Cool

Another interesting design, and a real bit of fun for the kids. Found one thing in the torchlight that led to the cache eventually! Thanks for the cache.

01-Oct-15
After finding theother nearby cache Swellerfungus and I continued our night time stroll around the area. We definitely did not take the most direct route to GZ but with a bit of zigging and zagging across the creek and along some tracks we soon were at GZ and Swellerfungus soon spotted the critical element while I was still replacing the batteries in my headlamp. TFTC.

Took the kiddles on the walk to find this one. As my special father's day treat I got to organize what I wanted which was a little walk with the kids, a couple of caches and a picnic in a quiet park. So had a particularly fun time with this one. All three sproglings made it without any incident and everyone managed to find the cache without letting on to everyone else so that was good.

Thanks for the fun cache Grant.

After finding a nearby cache, I made my way to this one. I searched and searched and finally located the cache but couldnt figure out how to access it. I looked around close by for a tool but was unable to locate one. I pondered my quandry for a while and finally resorted to a PAF. My friend told me something useful. I looked very carefully and found what I needed Smile Finally!!! I was signing the log. Smile After returning the cache to its spot, I headed back down the trail in search of another

25-Aug-15
A lovely stroll through this area, it is a lovely spot I have visited once before. I soon spotted the cache and thought oh bugger how do I get that! Soon after spotting something a little bright I tracked it to how this was going to work, did what needed, voila how cool. Putting it back was a little tricky but sorted it out. A fun cache so a favourite for this one. tftc

23-Aug-15
Definitely a top five cache for me. Thanks so much

16-Aug-15
Cool cache, it's always nice to find something that bit different. Noted that listed TB is not in the cache, strange as it was only dropped off recently. Signed the log and replaced cache as found. A favorite point from me, TFTC Cool

I have been along this creek from the Brookfield end many months ago, so knew this was not private. One could, however, be forgiven for thinking otherwise.
Wandered along a couple of tracks, through the bush, through the swamp - glad it's been fairly dry lately - and here we are!
now where is the cache? No sign of possible hiding place here. Look further afield. What's this? AHA! Sneaky! Retrieved the cache, signed log, left a Tree TB. Replaced cache container. Was really flying high after finding this one. TFTC, grantmatt018.

04-Aug-15
Continuing on from the last cache, this was one that I wanted to grab as well before leaving the area. I soon was in the right spot but not quite sure what I was looking for. I had some idea where I needed to look, and with a little bit of a check the cache was found.

This is quite a similar design to another cache that I found recently and I really do love the idea, I did what was needed and got the log book signed before getting everything back in place ready for the next hunter.

Nurseyjulie and I teamed up for a little walk to get her cache for the day. Familiar parking, and an easy walk towards GZ, and no wet feet at the creek [^] Another track to follow all the way to GZ, and the numbers counted down nicely. Nj spotted the "useful tool" then we spotted the container. Neatly done! TFTC, grantmaytt018.

A quick meet up with IolantheK. Took the geodog on the short walk from the parking co-ords. Nice little trails to the GZ and as we arrived, I spotted what was needed to be done. Team work prevailed and we soon retrieved the container all in good order. A good effort on this cache. Nice work grantmatt018! TFTC

21-Jul-15
I saw this published last night but was very happy to stay in bed. When I woke early, saw no logs and headed out, I admit I had some doubts based on recent experiences. As I pulled in to the nearest parking spot around 5am, another car came down behind me. I thought I had company, but instead a paper was thrown on a driveway and they took off again...
After following a different trail to my last visits, I crossed the creek easily and found my way to GZ with no dramas, noticing the nearby fence line and looking for a swamp, which I couldn't see for quite a while. Noting the clue, I went all over the place, shining my torch here and there. I had misgivings and began composing more terse emails, until I finally spotted something. There is a lot of weird stuff in this area, dumped here and there, but this thing was significant and brought a smile to my face at last.
All is forgiven... A very good cache and I think coordinates are close. This would have been sooo much easier in daylight! The CO may like to think about adding a Teamwork attribute too as some people may possibly struggle to find and replace this one without assistance.
*FTF* and TFTC. Have a FP too.
