After not being found since October 23 it took a little while of searching to have this in hand with Caperdoodle 2.
Attending an event nearby putting some more on the map around Northam. Thanks
Spur of the moment day road trip with the geodog. It’s a great time of the year to be out and about geocaching, everything is green and the wild flowers are putting on a show.
Another little hidden gem that you wouldn’t know is here but for geocaching.
Some logs signed as N2O
This is my 11550find.
Thankyou blingg for placing and maintaining this cache

On the way into Northam to collect some of the caches we missed out on yesterday, as I couldn't attend the event. No trouble here. TFTC
Heading out to Northam for a day of caching with Geo-mum. All is good here, thanks for the cache
Mrs Crackers headed down from Geraldton by bus to attend The Magic Maker event yesterday and was very kindly chauffeured around Northam and surrounds by Di Morgan for the weekend.
We found 50 caches before attending the event at lunch time and after much fun and laughter there we headed back out and managed another 21 before heading back for pre dinner drinks
The majority where the GG AD series which were found fairly quickly right where the GPSr's were pointing.
I hadn't been to this part of WA before and really enjoyed the countryside around here.
Thanks to all the different cache owners for the hides.
A quick find here with Orrsome Family on our way to the event in Northam today. Tftc
Heading out to Northam from Perth for the Magic Maker Event…. Tackling caches on route. Many thanks to you
Out with The Machman again on our way to the Northam event picking up geocaches along the way.

So glad to be able to stop here so many years after publication. Thanks for the hide.
Overnighting in Northam ahead of the Maker event tomorrow. Had a plan to make a dent in the GG series today, plus pick up a few extras that I passed on the way This was one that I stopped off at. A classic 'would never have found this place without geocaching'. As in I would literally have never known this was here! Tragic incident and an interesting location. For some reason I thought this was magnetic - it was a fairly quicky find once I came to my senses! All ok here today - TFTC
A nice little spot off the beaten track and would never have known this existed tftc
Happy to find this today - I love the places geocaching takes me. I never knew about this memorial until now. Log and cache in great condition
I found your cache blingg which added to my adventures. Thanks for placing it. Your cache makes my 6252 find.

A sleep in this morning in the cool weather.
Mrs F did her morning walk whilst Mr F did the housework and packed lunch.
Then we hit the road to tackle a few caches. Seems we added some KEP track caches along the way. Visited a winery and just had to do a tasting and have a chat (after finding the cache of course) visited some historic spots, some clever evil caches along the way. Did some cache maintenance to help out the CO's and returned to camp on dusk. Big day out for these nomads.

On our way back from Northam picking up caches here and there when we could. All good here, TFTC blingg!
Interesting spot to explore while wifey doing The Kep on bike. Cache 6m off my GZ. TFTC.
Been meaning to find this cache for an age, at last the time has come. Thanks for placing this cache.
This one was a little hard but no one had found it since 2017. And its now 2022! This was a good find.
What better way to spend a long weekend than packing up the car and heading off on a road trip? We made plans to meander our way to Northam and camp there overnight before setting sail for home. This was one of the caches we had targeted for the day and we also had some GCA caches, Waymarks and Adventure Labs on the radar. Cheers and TFTC.
G’day there blingg, I was in this area today and found your cache Avro Anson GC5ZNQM. I added my name to the log book at 9:57 am on 28 February 2021. A huge thanks to you for placing this cache here for us (and others) to find!

PP1 spent 30 years in the RAF & has an interest in anything to do with aircraft. Thanks for bringing us to this memorial. A sad loss of young lives. TFTC blingg
A quick find whilst at WAGB 19 in Northam.
Glad to finally tick this one off.

Another Avro Anson cache logged. Thanks for placing and maintaining your cache to highlight the sacrifice made by our Airmen
A quick find of the cache with redlipsandunicorns whilst attending WAGB TFTC blingg
Was on my way to the Northam event and took the scenic route and stopped by here to grab this cache and learn about the sad history. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache Blingg and sharing this history and story. The cache was still in good condition.
Aaagh!! What a day!! It started out with technology problems and electrical problems, both of which took quite a while to sort out. So it was late morning before we set off into Northam to buy some necessary items to do a few repairs. It was also very hot today, being 43 degrees and the enthusiasm for caching and being out on the sun really was not there.
So we just put a token list together, with ilook4geo and settled for those caches.
This one was not too hard find, log was signed and we departed rapidly.
Thank you to blinggfor placing this cache to remember the sad event that happened here. It is a beautiful memorial in a very quiet street.

Not much caching happened today as it is too hot, so just did a few. Found what we looked for with goingplaces2 and both names were soon on the log before we retreated to the air con in the car. TFTC.
A day out around Northam to claim some more smilies, what a sad story this is but a beautiful way to honour those souls lost. Thank you blingg for bringing us here and TFTC, we will recommend this as a must go to cache, a favourite point here
On a fly-by visit to this area for a special occasion, I only had the chance to nab one cache before I left. As this was the closest to where I was staying, this was the one I got. I've driven past this monument countless times on my visits here - never realising that there was a cache! So thanks blingg for the cache!
while ben looked all over for it his mum spotted it. nice to see one in this location
Found while on a caching drive around York today while I was in the area. This one a little out of the way to York but worth it. TFTC.
Found on a sunny morning. Dry, but the geocoin TB is not in the cache anymore.
Our very first geocache. Every chance this is the start of a very long journey. Thank you.........
Awesome find.... loved the little trinkets. Chess piece was to hard to leave. Left some sunscreen, please stay safe in the sun..

I bet no one ever comes here except geocachers. Found it and left a trackable we picked up in NZ. Look after it and keep it travelling. www.thesoloavocado.com
Interesting history lesson, one that I wasn't aware off. I grew up on Air Force bases so always interested in any cache with a connection. We took almost the last spot in the log book so left a new one for future finders. Thanks blingg
Another find for us today. We had no idea this was here. What a lovely memorial. Tftc.
Back in Northam for the day and made time for a couple of caches in the way home.
Would have never known about this incident if it wasn't for geocaching.
A quick find here.
blingg - SVKR_WA found your cache Avro Anson on 6/1/17, 15:10. This is my find #1749 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

I drove around looking for the road to GZ for a while.
A street sign sort of gave the game away, so I headed along said street and found the memorial
I wandered down the path to pay me respects to the fallen.
And then it happened !! [:o]
I swear I must have annoyed some deity at some time !!
Just as I arrived at the memorial,
a car rolled up just 10 metres away and out hopped a lass to feed the horses in the yard.
All OK !! So far
But did she have to leave the damn car stereo turned up to 11,
blasting out some really annoying Katy Perry album !!
I retreated back to the geomobile until the annoyance left.
Back at the memorial ...
... I could enjoy the moment at last and pay me respects by finding the cache in peace and quiet [^]
Before I left, I looked over at the horse and asked if it liked that music ...
... the answer was a definite Neigh !! [^]

Quick find this time, when not being watched.
This is the sort of interesting out-of-the-way place that I think Geocaching should be about.

This took some hunting for, I was nearly called away by restless geokids. Will have to return with geohubby. Thanks for bringing us to this special spot. TFTC!
Got absolutely soaked but found it! Cool little spot that we never knew existed
Great spot. Left airforce pin. The neighbour's dog gave me a bit of hassle but i said hello and give him a sniff and he was happy SL TFTC

Local volunteers were tidying up for the annual service there so I couldn't linger.
Glad to see the TB is on the move, one of the reasons I placed it hear was to bring people to the area. Good spot for a hide CO
Found with Minergal TFTC, would never have known this was here if it wasn't for geocaching!
I love the caches that actually take you to an out of the way, interesting area. It is a pity that there doesn't appear to be any signage. Have taken the trackable. Found with the Fabulous Panda. TFTC
What an awesome little find! Never knew the memorial was here until today. Master 4 spotted the marble & decided it had to be his. Walked back to car to get a replacement toy. Swapped marble for car, rehide cache. Back at the car again & all strapped in when Master 4 decides he doesnt want the marble anymore & wants the car back. Kids always make the trip more....interesting.....

An easy Find.
Interesting reading the log below, I have to have a chuckle as I too was looking at placing a cache here, am just waiting approval from the local RSL, who maintain the site.
Around 2007 due the site being run down, I coordinated a small team of volunteers to help restore the site, the wooden cross as mentioned was replaced with a steel one and the original is now preserved and stored with the local RSL Branch, the site was rededicated at the annual service around 2008 -09
I’m a bit worried about the location of the Cache, as mentioned the local RSL do regular maintenance here, and every year there is a rather large service here honouring those who had perished.
So could be at risk of being muggled

Part of Spencer Brook Road was closed today so I had to sneek in through the barackades.
Made a quick find and ate my lunch at this interesting place.

Headed off after school drop off in the direction of this cache... The main road was closed today so we had a nice meander through some country roads before arriving at the location
I quickly begun the hunt & searched around in the wrong places for about 5 minutes before discovering the caches lair... Opened it up & found a nice blank log which was a surprise given it was published last night
This is truly "one of those spots" that we would not have known about, if not for geocaching so thanks for bringing us here blingg... And TFTC [^]

Ha, ha! All was planned; new cache prepared for this memorial (it's sitting on my desk here) and hidey-hole located. I'd even been working on placing the new cache today as I had to come up to Northam.
Beaten to it by blingg! And under exactly the very same rock! Great minds think alike?
Really happy to see this memorial is being though-about by others and is becoming better-known.
Thanks blingg! Great effort!
