If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
Only DNFs for 21 months and no responses to 2 NM logs. It would be a pity to see it go but it's not there and needs CO attention.
Should have checked the Log. New paperless caching has got me all slack. Better care will be taken in future. Great trek. TFTC?
After DNFing this cache last August, I returned for a fuller look, armed with intel from an earlier finder. It's not where it has been found before so it's probably gone. In any case, it's time for CO involvement.
Yep, shoulda checked the logs... no find on this one but i bet i found where it *was* hidden!
Can this one please be checked
6 DNFs in a row- these are the only 6DNFs on the cache
Made by experienced cachers
I am planning to do the Great North Walk at the end of the year so hope this one can get up again

nope.... no finds here... found a couple of interesting rocks looking like they might have held a box and camo, but no cache...
Are the 'dogs still active ?

Found many good spots but the cache was not in them. Gave up as time ran out. Will study logs and look again on next walk.
we gave this one a fair search but no luck. Both of our gizmos kept bringing us back to the same area. TFTH
The gizmo had the cache on the water side of the trail which is where we concentrated our search.....all to no avail...Regards, tv
No smell, and no cache that I could find. From previous log by blossom*, I was left wondering if there had been another flood to take this cache away again?
Easy enough to find at GZ. This cache was one of 4 I planned to locate on my walk from Berowra to Hornsby. Logged took/left nothing. Thanks for making one of the slower parts of the walk more enjoyable!
Second cache for the day. Not so difficult to find - and it certainly didn't stink. Great walk down along Berowra Creek.

Easy yet smelly find.
Missed this one on a hike in January - went for a wander from a lazy camping trip at the Reserve, met a 7ft diamond python, and a very vocal lyrebird on the way back that rattled off at least 9 other birds, an SLR camera shutter & rewind, car alarms, and a few other mechanical noises we couldn't pick.
If you happen to hear him making Transformers noises now, well, er,
Cleaned the container up a bit - clips are not sealing much anymore - took a small tape measure as it wasn't letting the lid close.

Took a bit of scrambling around to find this one. It was in an obvious spot but covered with a layer of leaf litter. Enjoyable walk down from Berowra and not too smelly today! TNLN.
Thanks
Thanks
A day out in Berowra would not be complete without a 2dogs cache and this is my 50th 2dogs cache find! Top stuff Thanks for bringing us here. I've taken the coin but dropped no trackables here or swaps, though all is good with the cache.
I was doing a few Caches along the Great North walk today and it would not have been right if I didn’t include at least a couple of 2 Dogs. This one did not prove too much trouble and as usual with TDC it was an enjoyable find.

We had a lovely walk here this afternoon along the creek. Elliott found the cache straight away luckily. Left geocoin.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this one. The name itself was less than appealing but being a 2 dogs cache I knew it would be in a nice location.
On a bushwalk with Alpini from Kuringai to Berowra we continued along leaving the freshwater creek behind. We noticed the mangroves and I realised the creek had become brackish. Low tide left the mangrove roots exposed. Alas no smell today.
Alpini spied the likely hiding spot and as Altaire said it was hidden in plain sight.
I guess no one ventures down this way, even though the "cache" is virtually on the track.
This was the easiest find today.
No swaps. Thanks 2 dogs!

Still less than 1 km from the last found away it was my task to spot the next uncovered cache.
Now it is hidden again.

Continuing on our walk along Berowra Ck from Crosslands to points north we soon found this one hidden in plain sight as the saying goes. At least it's far enough off the track which no doubt has helped to preserve it to now. Made no swaps but picked up a coin which wasn't there.
TFTC - quick find without the stink today. Gentle misty rain made this a cool walk in with 4MC.
TNLN.

Not too smelly on a drizzling Good Friday. Last through the bush with CJ2255.

We made a quick detour to grab this “Little Stinker†on our way past. As I approached GZ it was “right under my noseâ€, no search required.

Hmmmm...... why hide a cache when you can just leave it out in the open? Well, that's the way we found it & thought surely it isn't supposed to be like this, so we applied a bit of camo to it, so a muggle won't just pick it up and destroy it.
TNLN - TFTC.
Cheers.

G.P.S co-ords were way off for this one. But dads was spot on. Maybe because I tripped and my GPS turned off. Nice lot of bush.

TFTC. The barge shaved a bit of the river plants.

Got a further lift in the barge downriver from Asho; then he had to chase up another group that had kayaks out at Berowra. Most of us were searching too far away while Cookie & Dukes found the container.
1730 Got dropped off by brother-in-law by boat from Crosslands. While the others were searching further up the track, this time the Garmin Foretrex 101 was leading me straight to the rock. Brought Idaho 2007 coin through.
Had to get out before the gates were locked at 5.30pm so we raced in and had 17 minutes to find the cache. After a panicked search with a GPS that was swinging around like a ceiling fan we found it with 3 minutes to spare. Thanks for the fun
I have to echo smerrall's comments of my surprise at the ease of this one. Particularly as I know how sneaky the 2dogs can be. Took nothing left bouncy ball.
Thanks 2dogs!
Thanks 2dogs!
Rated: for Overall Experience
I was surprised at how easy this one is. Got off the track to search, and there it was! Guess it survives as only cachers ever get into the correct location to see it!
Easy find. Small container is already full. Took brown Texta, left shrek ping pong ball. Rain made the walk a bit sticky.
Found this one rather easily & it wasnt too stinky at all. We even stopped for a bite to eat.
Took Party Feet.
Left Lanyard.

Last find on our morning walk. GPS and the cache name had us hunting at the edge of the mangroves.Tnakfully the cache was a relatively easy find.
Left nothing, took TB.
Thanks again 2 Dogs.

After a nice walk along the creek/river we were getting close when we had to pull over to one side to let around 30 young ladies walk past, well, you don't see that every day. Obviously they owned the many canoes beached back at the bridge.
GPS, played silly buggers for a while here, after turning it off and back on, it decided to say, no, over there silly. And there it was. Easy as that!
Took super glue, left anzac badge also grabbed the TB out of here and dropped Granks nuts off.
Cheers

If you don't like getting on your hands and knees to locate caches, this one is for you. You just can't miss it. Thanks 2 Dogs. TN, left "Joe the little blue krittah" TB.
Diff 2.5? From the track this cache isn't visible but once near GZ you would have to be blind not to find this fella.
Easy find,
took blue candle,
left photo frames, stamp texta and super glue.

Unarchiving cache.
I've left it disabled so you can remove the SIDS reference before enabling.

As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
The last time this cache was last found in 2003, its now 2005 and its listed as unavailable, is this cache ever going to come back into action or will someone archive it?
The name says it all. Glad I didn't do this at low tide in the middle of summer.
Nice walk to GZ.
No swaps.
Thanks 2 Dogs

I appear to have a talent for picking the hottest & most humid days to go looking for these things. And this cache was no exception. I guess that fitted in with the title for Little Stinker!
Found GZ without too much drama, but then the GPS batteries died while we were searching for it. I applied my cache rules of logic as to where it should be, and of course I was wrong. Robyn made the find just as I was about to call it a day. Took the nail polish stuff, and left a Freddo Frog keyring light. Thanks Two Dogs. Top location!

Took the shorter route (which I had no problem navigating) And made my way to the stash. Besides a few fish in the river and some ducks there was no living soul about and boy was this place quiet.
Found the cache very easily even though my GPS flux compass had decieded to invert north and south!
***I've since found out that my mobile phone was the evil that has been playing with my compass***
Took the NZ $5 note and replaced with Memo Magnets.

This was a great walk, I hadn't been to this area before and would like to do more of the walk at another time. Swapped glow in the dark keyrings for something I cant remember what though.
Good one 2 dogs

In partnership with Scubadoo.
Passed a film crew on the way to this cache AFTRS students? TropFest aspirants? dunno.
Co-ords pointed straight to the cache and it didn't stink at all.
I am wondering how many caches there are on the Great North Walk now......

great walk in the Winter sun, logged the cache, then settled in the parklands for a picnic lunch.
We wer almost done, when who sould wander by but The Ginger loon from Team Chaos, he was homing in on the cache. but he stopped for a wee chat for a while.
great location this one.
and its so close to another cache, you can get both done from this point.
well done 2-dogs.

After the diversion to the nearby cache, I had to hurry if I was to pick up the scent of the geomonkeys. Luckily there were banana peels all along the track, making my job a lot easier. Found the cache quite quickly, good placement 2 Dogs. Luckily there was an adequate hiding spot to protect me from prying eyes as I filled out the logbook. My swaps were a bit low so I took the monkeys cache cash and a freddo and left a WWF car sticker and padlock & keys.
Good one 2 Dogs.

Ahoy the Dogs!!
Have ye claimed the entire north as thee realm? Yet another one in this area and by the same pirates. This is one of the most scenic caches we’ve been on and the name sure doesn’t fit the experience!! This was the last of 4 caches today…would have loved to have taken our time, but were losing our daylight!! Beautiful, a great hit with my crew!! Again, as always, the coords were perfect…found it with ease. Left a BB calling card and The Little Book of Pleasure and a nail polish set. – took a froggy key chain and fredo. The travel bug came a walking with us as well.
Sure enjoyed this cache!!

Anything but a stinker we would say, but we took the long way in and enjoyed a marvelous walk to the cache. We also enjoyed explaining about our wildlife to some overseas visitors who where a bit confused about flying fox’s. The funny thing is that when we left they kept looking up for Drop Bears.
Having found the cache we left Paws the travel bug there to continue his journey.

This cache is certainly no stinker!
A very nice walk with lots of fun things to do and see along the way.
Can't believe we ran into the travelling cache bear for the third time! We first found him in Pointing Pole, then again at Under Pressure, and now in Little Stinker. Wish we could have the same luck with Chaos Cash! We'll find a new home for him soon.
The cache had a punchure hole in the bottom from one of the pens, luckily we had our emergency cache repair kit with us (see photos)
Took a frog and left some freddo's. Deserving of an EcoTeam bag but it wouldn't fit

This is another Great Walk, although we did have to hurry this one as we were running short on light. Luckily we found it straight away, despite initially overshooting by 20m (GPS signal was pretty poor).
Took peppermints, and left Aussie Chuppa Chups.
Gratitude to The 2 Dogs

Wow, an 8-day old virgin. That's getting a bit old. Maybe there's a glut of caches or a shortage of daylight.
Yes, the Dogs do keep them coming. Another good one. Congratulations and thanks. I have to disagree with the description - not all aspects of this are stinky. It was a great walk and a hot day for winter, and I had no trouble finding the cache, when it is approached the right way. Took the M+Ms and left peppermints and soap. The soap really is a stinker!
