Neck breaker. Container has no lid, is open and nothing in it. Well done for getting it there!
Cheers. The cache is missing the lid and is open. Nothing is inside unfortunately.
Found the cache, but forgot the pen. Didn't feel like getting back in the saddle for it. Good hide, hard from GZ
I sent the kids up to get it. They loved it!! The pen doesn’t work anymore but I used my own. Thanks for the fun climb.
Looking caches to fill out my D/T matrix and this one was perfect. After a quick scoot up and down I was back on my way. The muggles in the play ground across the road didn't even notice what I was doing.
Scooted up to GZ in the dark.
Some magnificent orb spiders hanging out here.
Ticking off my second last required T4 on a Tuesday for the last of the DOTW Challenges.
A great hide here!
Thanks Team_Justice.

*The LGA Catch-up Adventure #5*
It's date day again, and we're doing something a little different today. We're trying to hit up caches in a range of different Local Government Areas.
This stop was a first find in the City of Merri-bek for both of us, although... really... we were keen to see what was in the Travel Bug hotel. Sadly, there were no residents in today.
Thanks heaps for the cache, Team Justice!

Had to get hubby Wespro to get up there for this one. Shane there were no travel bugs to trade. Magnificent tree though
Found and log signed with dalerious on a caching day in Melbourne waiting to board the ferry to Tasmania .
No Payne climbing this beaut specimen. A stealthy free climb had the cache in hand and log signed in no time.
Thank you Team_Justice for this cache.

This was the 2nd cache of our holiday found en route as catnap777 and I wound our way towards the dock to take the ferry to Tasmania.
We had packed a handy TOTT in the back of the car but didn't need to pull it out for this one. It was a fun monkey climb managed with stealth and discretion.
TFTC Team_Justice. Cat' and I are always keen to find a tree climb cache and this was a beauty.

Found at 12:53 pm.
OzHockeyChick had the new scooter to try out so we headed over this way with hergab69 and muggle hubby (who came in extremely handy) to a patch a caches that none of us had found and that were also bike path friendly.
After a great ride around (past this cache because I wasn't manually climbing up there) we came back with the ladder and up I went after thankfully easily spotting it from the ground.
Thanks Team_Justice for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Following the trails on our scooters we came to this one. I eagerly jumped up in the tree then realised it was a bit to high up for me to climb safely. We decided that after we’d finished we’d come back with the cars as geohubby had a ladder on his. The ladder reached the heights needed and OzHockeyChick & Geohubby held it in place while Spiffy retrieved the cache and I took the photos. Real team effort . TFTC
A day out on the scooters with hergab69, her muggle hubby and spiffy-.
Once we returned to our geovehicles and packed the scooters away, we made our way here to have a go at the tree climb. Thankfully the muggle of the group had a ladder strapped to the roof, which made for an easy climb for spiffy-.
Thanks for bringing us here today by placing this cache, Team_Justice

A quick climb to the cache, no travel bugs here today. Thanks for the larger container and a tree climb. TFTC!!

After a fun pre-Cristmas gathering with family members, at the Coburg Lake Reserve, this is the last of the caches we found as we headed homeward.
No travellers were found to be staying over at the TB Hotel - perhaps that is a reflection on Covid restrictions (or the physical location of the cache)!
Thanks Team_Justice for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

First time doing climbing exercises. I’m glad I got proper shoes as it was more difficult climbing down than up. Thanks for placing it there! No muggles were around, so I avoided having to answer any usual questions.
Out with xambo4u, we had a lovely day caching doing multi and trads.
Here we met fellow cachers -fousel- unable to make it to the top, so we all watched xambo4u do the climb !!! Once the log was signed, we were able to enjoy the beauty of such an old tree. A favourite point. Thanks Team_Justice

Out and about with echidna44 escaping within our 25km limit. Arrived at GZ not looking at the rating. Noticed a couple wandering around looking up. Introduced ourselves and sorted out who was to do the climb. I love trees and climbing so there was no big discussion about it. Did not find the climb to hard and the rating lets you know what you are in for. Love these old peppercorn trees, brings back memories of my school days. Always great to meet kindred spirits. Thanks Team_justice is gets a favourite from me.
Sent cache partner up the tree. Loved having a cache with trinkets in it! So many nanos in this area. Taking this rock up to the beach on the weekend. Also took Little Henry, looking forward to continuing the journey.
Hmmmm, well climbing trees isn’t my favorite activity any more but lately I’ve done 2 in as many weeks. For a good cause of course. No TB’s in residence so left 2 - please log them out when taken, one belongs to my 7yo & the other came over from NZ & is really cute! Also left a painted rock. Many thanks for getting me out pushing boundaries again & TFTC!0
I discovered that climbing is most certainly not a payne today! Thanks for the challenge Team_Justice.
After THREE tries in THREE YEARS, a new geofriend Misscheers nailed the climb! TFTC
Turns out I can still climb as an adult. First Geocache ever! Can't wait for more, thanks @hdubhdub for helping me start this fun journey woohooooooo
I like caches like this - not complicated, but not something I’d do everyday. Thanks Team Justice
must-see tv
a batting collapse televised to a no-longer-but-practically-captive audience
three ducks and no double digits
an aussie duo splitting nine wickets
but a walkabout arvo in the city turned it into must-listen radio
six double-a batteries catching some breaking waves
but as the aussies drowned in success
here things began to go awry
shoes off, socks off, hats off, sunscreen nowhere to be seen
slip, slap, slip again
headphones tangled round limbs of different sorts
a speaker and blood droplets accelerating at 9.8 m/s^2
a private broadcast made red and sour and public
the things we do for some paperwork

Wooooooooo! What a great suburban tree climb! I haven't found many terrains 4's, always a bit nervous. But this tree had some very convenient gnarls and branchs, so was very doable. Loved the spot and the hide! Unfortunately no trackables in there, and I haven't picked one up for a very long time. Maybe they have learnt that Hotels aren't the safest place to be during a pandemic? Thanks Team_Justice!
That was awesome! Must admit, I got a little scared but the climb is solid and dun. Tttf!
TFTC! Amazing place to put a cache. A little complicate to go down but I got it.
Found this on the way home today, had a little company (a very curious magpie) watching the fiancee very intently! Was a fun find!
Decided to pop past to do this one on the way home from dinner.
Wearing thongs wasn’t a great idea, but I was going to get the fiancé to do all the legwork as per usual anyway

Thank you so much for this cache! Made me feel like a kid again getting up there. Had an absolute ball!
The only dampener was that none of the trackables were in the cache.
TFTC!

Gotta hate a fear of heights. Oh well, maybe another time with someone else.
Wow... this really tested my fear of heights. Esp given there is very little to hold on to and I was in slacks and business shoes . Pushed through for the win. TFTC
The 2019 Bromance St Arnaud FIFO adventure got underway with a late evening flight from Brisbane. The serious side of the posse (Seffnjarah, Swellerfungus, Saywat? and JeznDez) grabbed out car and planned for an hour or so caching collecting a few chosen caches on the way from the airport to our airbbnb.
We all love a good tree climb and with Seffnjarah chasing "Bug" caches for a challenge cache in some remote European backwater, this cache made the list. Before I could even get out of the car, Jez had decided this climb was hers.
She had the log book in hand in the tree at about midnight, when the neighbours arrived home. Talk about timing! We were all bundling into the car when the man of the house came out of the driveway - to likely tell us that the cops were on their way.
Most logs were signed "Bromance". Many thanks, Team Justice. The first climb of many on our long weekend caching adventure.

The Bromance (seffnjarah, Crookedpete and Swellerfungus) conducted a successful fly-in-fly-out mission from Brisbane to Melbourne for last year's mega event at Parkville, and decided to return again this year for the The Bromance Mega FIFO Adventure 2019. With the addition of Dez of JezNDez as the all new-and-improved Bromance, and sayWOT? joining us as caching 457 visa holder, the expanded team flew in for 3 days of caching around Melbourne and regional Victoria, with a visit to the St Arnaud Mega thrown in.
By the time we collected our luggage and hire car, it was after midnight by the time we arrived at this cache. In a case of unfortunate timing, we were standing around the tree while the logbook was being signed when the next door neighbours drove in to their drive way. With our "possum spotting" excuse at the ready, we quickly finishing the secretarial duties and hurried back to the car, just as the man of the house walked to the end of the drive way to see what was going on. We had bundled in to the car and headed off before he could dial the first of three zeros TFTC

Ah promises, promises, especially those of the drunken variety! At a mid-year birthday party for seffnjarah Junior, Jez and the LadySim conspired to get the usually sober, in control, type ‘C’ Seff a tad tiddly. Fast-forward to November, and as a direct result of the inebriated pledges made that night, we found ourselves on a plane bound for Melbourne, ostensibly for the Mega, but mostly to assist Seff in pretending he’s not one step closer to F-I-F-T-Y by solving puzzles, climbing lots of trees, a hike or two, and maybe, just maybe, spending a couple of hours with several of our long suffering spouses who had been dragged along for the ride.
After a late cancellation from the Golden Stairs, the cachers on the trip comprised an extended Bromance; Swellerfungus, Crookedpete, Seff (seffnjarah), SayWot! and I, while LadySim, Jarah and Jez would be undertaking the very serious business of quality checking a number of vineyards and distilleries.
The hire car collection went smoothly despite the late hour, and having bid a fond farewell to the non-cachers (who were off to check out the accommodation rather than coming to search for midnight caches – odd bunch; there’s really no accounting for taste!) we set off to make a start on the extensive, conditionally formatted spreadsheet put together by Seff, with Fungus at the wheel.
With Crookedpete and Seff around I don’t really get to do many tree climbs, but this one looked pretty manageable, so they kindly stood back to let me make the find. A great tree for climbing, and a nice-size cache – TFTC!

In town to attend the St Arnaud Handicap, The Bromance Plus (Seffnjaray, CrookedPete seffnjarah, JeznDez and SayWot!) flew in tonight from Brisvegas. A late arrival did not stop us picking up a few caches, some more challenging than others. We finally made it to our accomodation at 2am (to be out at 5:30am eeek). Logs were signed collectively for all as "Bromance" to save log sheet space.
A quick yet conspicuous climb due to the late night arrival of the neighbour - quick in and out though.

Dropped past the cache today and replaced the log - it was very wet. The tree has been "trimmed" but the cache is all good. Thanks for the heads up.

Today we visited this cache hoping to sign the log. However when we arrived we encountered an arborist in a cherry picker using a chainsaw to remove branches from this tree. Needless to stay we did not try to look for this cache.
CO might like to check on this one when the tidying up has finished.

One last cache for the day, and couldn't resist the lure of a D4. Before I could even get a chance to get in the tree Anikano had leaped up ahead of me and was at the cache. No room up top so climbed as high as could then stayed just behind. Always love a tree climb, and great location! A FP from me.
Last cache for the day after lots of cycling out in Parkville with Jacko83, Tritonz and Pacman (team TJAP in the log). Great little tree climb - just what I love. A FP from me.
While cycling around the area finding the last of the Parkville caches before they are archived we branched out to these nearby caches. After a lengthy and needed lunchbreak we made our way north from Esslemont Reserve to do the Walkies series. With that completed it was back to base camp. With most of the day spent cycling a little climb would be a good way to exercise some different muscles.
There were some muggles in the playground but fortunately, as the cache notes state, GZ is more secluded. It's an impressive and unusual tree.
The climb obviously starts off pretty easy, but gets a little trickier close to the cache. It helps to be a little tall here to reach for the safer holds.
Thanks Team Justice.

I can see it from the ground but my fear of heights is keeping me from getting it.
The logbook is saturated and it’s dirty inside. The listed trackables are not there.
I came to climb this tree, up I went, unfortunately the log book is soggy mush, and was unable to sign it, added a photo of proof I was there
Today was a big day out, well it felt like it anyway. With the rain coming out of the clouds early I was unsure if my plan would be put to action. After hosting an event in the morning the skies seemed to clear so off I went in search of some Mount Disappointment caches. After finding just over 100 of them I decided to pull the pin and head back to Melbourne to do some more interesting caches. Some multis were on the cards and some finals were located but due to the amount of high muggles frequency due to this so called thing of “school holidays”, I had to leave the caches. Finished off the day with an event near Marvel stadium and on the Spirit to Tasmania.
A great day out with 118 finds. A good few days in vic finished off.
Thanks for the cache

Got to GZ, looked up at the cache, and decided that it's beyond my abilities. Maybe another day.
I found it and put the travel bug in it and was really fun climbing up the tree as i am very adventures

Wow, what a great hide. Quickly spotted what we were looking for, but retrieval was a tricky operation. All safe and dry, TFTC
What a cool hide! Went for an adventure with this one. Over from NZ and heading back to airport now. Thanks for this fun cache.
The sun is shining again and the temperature is topping 36 Celsius so what better thing to do than get out in the sunshine and find a few more Geocaches. Found 7 today and one dreaded DNF also did my first tree climb...
This one is my first tree climb and first terrain of 4, so a double whammy for me here.
Searched all around before actually reading the name and description and then it was quickly spotted. I ummed and ahhhed as too whether to get it or not as I was on my own, but it looked fairly easy so went for it... fairly easy climb and soon had logbook in hand and signed. I climbed down to sign it so had to make my way back up to return it.
Great cache and I really enjoyed getting this one.
Thanks for the cache and the hide.

The cache was spotted, now to get to it. I wasn't sure I would make it, but once up I was able to get where I needed to be without fear of toppling down to earth. As I opened the container a TB was on top of the log and fell to the ground. After signing the log and closing it up I returned to terra firma and collected the TB to take with me.
Thanks to Team_Justice for placing this cache.

No pain for me today as I climbed up to the hotel. I felt very safe as I proceeded slowly and with caution, garden gloves on and firm grips and support all the way. Logbook is a bit on the damp side but absolutely signable. TB out and TB in - it's a hotel for such creatures, after all! Down was a wee bit harder than up, but I safely reached terra firma. Thanks for the cache and for the exercise!
Out with Gunks last week. Logging late. Decent 8km walk along the trail. Picked up a few cache along the way. This one was a Gunks speciality. He's taller. TFTC
Out last night with Trailstevo on our Sunday evening stop. Just 8.5km walk, enough to stretch the legs, please the dog and get the heart pumping as we picked up the pace. Started in Coburg and headed south down the trails eventually completing the round trip in the streets. Didn't spot any wild life, just trains and a few people. Thanks for getting us out and about!
A glance, a climb, a log. Easy and fun with Krümelle, thanks for the cache!
I climbed up here hoping to grab the 3 TB's but the cupboard was bare, just a logbook to sign, sadly.
I did enjoy the wee climb here and the old peppercorn tree has a great grip
Thanks

Although it was a cooler day than the past few I decided that I would jump on the bike and grab a few caches along the Moonee Ponds Cycle Trail.
On the way to the trail I stopped off at this GZ and instantly recognised it. I had been here about 18 months ago but the nearby park was busy so I left it unattempted.
Today the GZ an its surrounds were muggle free so I made my way to the cache. It didn't look that high up but I persisted. I didn't look to see if there were any TBs there as I just wanted to sign the log and get down. TNLN. TFTC.

Got halfway up and decided I probably wasn't properly attired to tackle the whole climb. It's amazing how many people walk past during the evening peak and don't notice a fairly tall gal sitting three metres up a massive tree! I'll be back!
