Nice easy find this time on the way out of dubbo, left a travel bug that i picked up in maitland for someone else to move along. Thanks for the cache
Tried to find these 3 caches on mugga hill, but it seem the back burning in the area has destroyed the caches or we were just having very bad luck today. Mugga Hill #1 we had a good look in the ends of the log but no luck, Mugga Hill #2 only seem to have black ash at toe high , and Mugga Hill #3 after we phoned a friend who had found the series recently told us were we should be looking but the log that the first part was hidden in appears to be missing/burn to the ground - and i tried to walk to the second part but i could not find much.
i suggest the cache owner check to see if the caches has survived the back burning.

This was the last cache of the day after spending the morning and most of the afternoon at the zoo.
There seemed to be a decoy at GZ. Quickly put it back after realising what I was holding. EEK!!
Found cache though. Log signed and replaced as found.
TFTC
This was cache number 13 for the day. Off we go south tomorrow towards Bathurst.

After a walk along the nearby Baseline series of Trig markers (Geocaching Australia caches) we came back to this series on the way back into town.
Mrs Shifter walked around the location and returned to it looking at it from a slightly different angle than initially and located the cache.
Thanks for the hide Bourkebornandbred.

Out for an afternoon caching in Dubbo. This was a nice quick find on this hot but windy day. Parked within 5m of GZ. TFTC.
Have a little time to spare to spare we spotted this group of hides up Mugga Hill. Mugga Micro was first and given one of the recent DNFs logged we where a little concerned. A bit of a look around and we spotted some familiar camo. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC We then crossed the road to Dubbo's Sneakiest 7 and followed the track down. This one took a while to find as there are some many hiding spots so the D rating could be a touch higher. Signing completed. TFTC Next it was a short drive up to the next parking spot for Mugga Hill #1. A couple of decoys and then the hid was spotted and found. TFTC We continued up the track to Mugga Hill #2. We looked in a few obvious spots before spreading out a bit and then spotting the detached camo and the the find. We completed the signing duties and re hid TFTC.
Back to the car and over to Creative Log. A short search and the hid was soon spotted. We completed the signing duties and re hid TFTC.

This one is an easy find and had our hopes up for the next two. But we were a bit cocky as the next was a lot sneakier and the next, well we will not talk about that. SL TFTC
Quick find while geo partner was getting the prickly pear out of her thong, walked past turned around there it was TFTC
Found it, but you can pretty well guarantee that if there's prickly pear, then it is in my foot. oh well. all good.
Hi there Bourkebornandbred. We found your cache "Mugga Hill #1" at 10:22:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11681.

Today was another nice day for 'caching on our visit to Dubbo.. We started off at a random cache and then navigated by using the "next closest" method to end up logging 6 caches (and DNFing 4).
We removed the prickly pear that was noted in the previous log.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Smiley Badge.
Grabbed Trackable: "Compass Rose Geocoin"
Compass Rose Geocoin
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Found at 11:54 AM GAFF1.
We drove in with the van and thankfully there was a nice turn around section there. Headed over to GZ and checked out the first decoy hole and nothing there, went over to the second one and again nothing there, but watch out for the nasty prickly pear that some DH has put in there as a little painful surprise. We luckily saw it before we put our hand in.
We then looked at a much more simple type of location and there was the cache sitting nicely.
Thanks Bourkebornandbred.

Me stroll around the maze of trails on Mugga Hill brought me to a carpark [:o]
The carpark was deserted and I quickly narrowed down a good cache hiding place
And there in the shadows, a cache
Thanks for an easy one this time [^]

This is our 2nd day in Dubbo. So many new caches since we were here last.
Todays outing was like a tiki tour heading around many of the towns top spots. We had my 85 year old mother come along with us for an outing.
Thanks for placing this cache Bourkebornandbred

Is this supposed to b just sitting there all out in the open ? It probably will get muggled without any camo, which is never fun. Put it back how we found it after duties completed. Thanks
Finally find with gangstella. Quick easy find. We also found the insulin first. I'm going to research into these so we all know what the deal is with them as this is the second clean one I've found whilst Geocaching. TFTC
TFTC! Found with No_Tomorrow before finding mugga hill #3, quick little find, found a needles box first by accident! haha
Took a bit to find but in the hunt we found a used needle very close to the cache and a needle box
Did not expect to get a first to find but I am delighted to do so. Picked up coin to move along and left a path tag. TFTC
We had a double find here. First was a needle container with insulin and then the cache. Preferred the cache! Thanks.

No luck for Gangstella and I this morning. Tried at gz then widened search, but came out empty handed
