The cache has disappeared with upgrading work. Due to illhealth of the Reluctant Companion I am archiving this cache.
Saw previous posts but thought we would have a go at finding it during our afternoon walk. Looked for a considerable time but chased out by the mossie’s on dusk. Unsure if the cache is still here as there is some new construction in the area.
Looked around the area for a while but couldn't find it. Gave up after seeing that the most recent comments were all DNF.
Thanks for the cache HD springer. Looked all over the new structures. In every nook and cranny. 2 pairs of eyes over 45 minutes. Expanding the search also revealed zip.
So no smiley for us here.
So no smiley for us here.
Was convinced it was on the shelter but then realised from the map that the shelter was too new. This is the second attempt to find as when I was driving past last time there were workers at GZ doing landscaping so didn't really attempt last time.

Quick find as we took the scenic route from Charters to Sth Townsville. There is some fencing but the cache is accessible and thankfully we have seen a few of these containers before thanks HD Springer
TFTC. We had pulled up in town with the intention of overnighting at the RV stopover. It was full so we decided a walk up the street to stretch the legs was called for after the drive from Collinsville. Cache was quickly located , signed and returned.

Thanks a lot for all of Aussie caches! I must say that Australia is really beautiful and one of the best country for holiday! Me and my girlfriend enjoyed 52 days long traveling (from Brisbane to Brisbane via Cairns, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Gold Coast), sleeping in our car and of course geocaching here!
Greetings from the Czech Republic/Europe! I would like to invite all australian geocachers to Czechia, we have got many excellent caches on amazing places too!

Found at 9:37 AM GAFF1in the company of Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder.
We camped the night at the Home Hill showgrounds and today we are on our way to Bowen and Proserpine. First stop though was to find a cache in a familiar park - we were here 8 years ago and found the original My Birthday Cache [^] and then to the bakery. Looking at the cache size attribute, I pretty much knew what to expect, but I still missed it as the GPSr said to carry on a few more metres and I also approached it on the wrong side. I then was re-directed to where I thought it would be and this time I was on the right side and spotted it immediately.
Thanks HDSpringer.

My first geocache I have logged myself after geocaching with my partner for awhile
Had a good tour of the park as the phone was not on point with the tree coverage. Tftc HDspringer had fun finding this clever cache.
A visit to Home Hill today,
took me past this lovely park
Of course there was a council lawnmower parked close to GZ [:o]
There always is !!
But the driver was absent ??
I ran over to GZ,
spied the cache before getting there,
and had the logbook signed before any more mowing could take place

Quick and easy find. Both there is no more paper inside. Left a little note thanks for the cache. Greetings from Germany.
Made us think for a bit then the penny dropped - should have realized because we've seen one of these before. As a previous finder said, there is no actual log so put in a piece of paper for the time being until the CO can sort it out. TFTC HDSpringer
Easter hunt for the weekend, chasing caches instead of eggs. This was an easy find, it will bite you if you are not careful. Needs a log - I left my card. Thanks for the hide HDspringer
Had a look to see if I'd have better luck than the last cachet but no looked 20m either side of coords with no luck.
Could not for the life of me find it!
A few comments say coordinates are way off and others say spot on so I searched near and far from the point in the map, but had no luck. Maybe next time!

While moving from Bowen to Townsville eremitgth and me stopped here to find the Cache. Thank you for hiding it!
On a caching road trip with Team BlackPearl.
BlackPearl spotted this one from a distance and we knew it just had to be it.
Thanks

Today we headed south towards Mackay to find the caches that we had not done since our last visit and this was one of them. At GZ we made a quick find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Particularly happy to log this one, as it belongs to my friend who first told me about this amazing pastime many years ago. Took me another couple of years before plunging into it, and now that I'm visiting the Burdekin again after being a resident here for over 37 years, I finally got to make this special find! Log was too wet to sign, so I improvised with a piece of paper to sign, and added the scrap to the log. Was the best I could do, sorry!! Love the hide, thanks so much for this special one, HDSpringer
Woohoo I found it!
Log is wet sorry we did not have any paper to replace! Thanks for the hide!

I still remember how clever we thought we were when we found our first one of these!! A nice hide in a great little town. Only place in Australia that we have come across that provides a 'comfort station' for us grey nomads. Pity other towns wouldn't take a leaf out of Home Hill's book. Thanks.
Enjoyed a short stroll to this one after parking just off Main Street... Soon spotted what we were looking for... On way to Charters Towers from Bowen T4TC:)
We are having an overnight stop Home Hill /Ayr to find a few of the local caches.
We had a quick guess where the cache would be & we swew spot on. We have replaced the wet log book.
Thanks for placing this cache HDSpringer

On our way along the East Coast we came to this cache.
It is a nice and long journey.
The weather is sometimes sunny and hot and sometimes rainy.
Thank you very much for leading us here and hiding the cache.
Greetings from Switzerland,

May every day feel like a birthday. We did your first birthday cache at this lovely park and were more then happy to stop today. It has been about twenty months since we have been back to North Queensland and loving the feel of it, so much better then cold Victoria. SL TFTC
[orange]The Great Southern Migration MkII[/orange] has begun for the Smith family as work yet agains asks us to move.
This cache was the first for the day and was chosen for it's timing in providing a break in the drive. A quick find to GeoP was followed by a quick lap of the park before again hitting the Frog & Toad.

[font=Tahoma]Day trip to the Ayr / Home Hill area to mop up a few caches I had left to find in the area.
Spotted the cache quickly as I walked towards the GZ.
Log signed. Cache and log found to be in good condition.
Finding this cache has now given me a total find count of 1489.
Thanks for the cache hide [Blue]HDSpringer[/Blue]. [font=Verdana]

It can be a challenging one if this was the first time to try to find a cache like this. But we've already found few of these types so it was a quick one. TFTC!
My third DNF in a row so me thinks I should look for something bigger than I assume this one is. Stopped nearby for lunch. TFTL.
Found on our way through driving from townsville to airlie beach. As we found a similer one a couple of days ago this was an easy catch.
On a day out with the geo-family decided to stop and have lunch in this park, very nice park...even tho 007Stealth and I have come across this type before the geoboys had not so they were very surprised when it was located!! TFTC!
This has been our daily cache. We take a rest in this nice Park here, thanks for hiding this cache here.
