Alas we didn't find this one. Not sure if it's been muggled as we found something a little funny looking, so have messaged the co.

Not to hard to find but so many cars driving past it made it tricky to do without being seen. Thanks for a week made cache.

Found it Smile

I was in the area today, and with some free time up my sleeve, I decided that I would have an attempt at finding this cache. This one took quite a while, but eventually the spot was suggested, and the well camouflaged cache was discovered.
ValoForce, I found your cache ‘The Light Horseman’ today. It was the third find of seven today and my total count now lies at 996. The cache was found in a good condition, so I added my signature to the log book and I replaced it as I found it. Thank you for the cache, the hide and for bringing me to this location.

27-Jul-17
Wow. Actually found this cache quite quickly after a few trips around gz. Spent the next few minutes scratching my head and trying to spot somewhere to hide a cache. Wasn't sure that this cache was where it was eventually found but not many alternatives. Spotted something "different", checked it out and voila! The cache. So cheeky , so sneaky. So well constructed. Must add another fave valoforce. You're bleeding me dry! Tftc.

23-Jul-17
Great find, very clever hide!! Felt a bit silly, found after 10 minutes tftc

07-Jul-17
I took my mum out caching today and so had put this cache on my list for the day.
Although it took me awhile to find, find I did and my mum will take the credit for this after suggesting it might be there.
Log was signed and cache replaced as found

My father had fought in Borneo, my son in law had fought in Timor and my husband served in the Army so anything ANZAC means a lot to me.
I absolutely love this memorial and more so as I knew an older man many years ago who was a lighthorse man.

If I could make a suggestion, can people not sit on the horse as I noticed that some of the wiring is broken and I would hate to see more pieces being broken off this wonderful tribute to the men and horses that fought and died in wars.

TFTC and for showing us this beautiful monument ValoForce
A favourite point coming your way.

24-Jun-17

Out for a day with our valoforce friends on another geo adventure. These days which sometimes run into nights are always amazing and family highlights. The first part of the day was spent in geo delight finding our friends super awesome hides.
The second part of the day was spent here at the dam which neither geo team had visited before. Stunning views and beautiful picnic spots were found along with your awesome cache. Thanks for bringing us to this wonderful spot

Your hides are amazing, you could charge caches to go on valo cache tours, best camos in town and this one is no exception. Ps love the hint lol

10-Dec-16
Very nice hide. The wow factor certainly is once you have found it. A BIG TFTC

15-Nov-16
Returned with my wife and after about 10 minutes of us both looking she found it in the place I would not have thought to look

09-Nov-16
Sooooo clever

08-Nov-16
Looked around for a good ten minutes until some muggles rocked up with a camera wanting to take photos of the statue so I took that as my cue to give up and move on to the next cache

18-Oct-16
Tried to find this yesterday without success. I was on my way back from minor surgery and the anaesthetic was wearing off and I had little patience for such a devious cache.
Today, we returned and considered in detail. Sherlock Holmes' assertion -
"when you have eliminated the impossible, whatever remains, however improbable, must be the truth"
led me to find it in a couple of minutes.

Very well done. Favourite point.

29-Sep-16
TFTC headed out today as B12 was working for the most of the day. So decided to go to caches that he has found and I haven't as yet, with the rare days that we are not together caching.

Steve eventually finished and met me to collect a few together.

Some great camo caches in byford were found and some great containers hidden also.

07-Jul-16
Found The Light Horseman. Putting back the log sheet prove to be more of a challenge than finding the cache Sad. Regardless, another brilliant ValoForce craftsmanship. TFTH and bringing me here, ValoForce.

Spent about ten minutes searching for this one and was almost about to give up when I found it! Such a clever hide a great location thanks for the cache! Fav point awarded!

Visiting from South AFrica and this was the first cache a fellow geocacher
Brought me to do. He said you looking for quality here is the hide for you. Without a doubt just so enjoyed this one. Did not take to long. The art work is first class and Vatoforce you got another FP from me. Such a Quality cache. Just smiling I think I've met my match in hides. They say in KZN you haven't found a cache until you found a V_ixen cache here I can say the same a Vatoforce cache is the top of the charts here for sure.

Found by Mary & David, in convoy with The Coffees, at 1115. Simply magnificent! A really top hide. Almost invisible, and naturally a FP. Met Crestnet here, and they accompanied us to the next couple of caches. Our thanks to ValoForce.

Out today finding these caches after the WA event. We are having a great time and the weather has been good.
Our thanks to ValoForce for the cache.without question another favorite for us.

**Date: 5 June 2016
Time: 12:16 pm
Find #7649**

Day fifteen of my across the Nullarbor, then to Perth via Denmark trip. First things first, a flash mob, followed by a convoy up the road with sharkiefan, Mica Paramedic, Alansee and Mr and Mrs Earthbound. We started off with no real plan, then we found the first valoforce cache and from then on, it became "Team ValoForce day" Oh yeah, some quality caches to be found, Awesome day.

Another very impressive camo job here, hidden in plain sight. Another fave left for the CO.

**Thanks to ValoForce for the cache. TNLN**

It took everal of us a few minutes but then one made the find and then we were all able to appreciate some great work.

05-Jun-16
Well tie me down and beat me with a whip. This cache was a doozy! Unbelievable what you folks get up to. Not even close to something I would have expected. Push the applause button. Just incredible. Micaparamedic made the find. Much appreciation for your skills. Tftc

05-Jun-16
After some aimless circling, tyre kicking & discussion about where & how one of the posse spotted it. Eureka! TFTC

01-Jun-16
We had been advised by Clan Wallace that caches by this hider were of exceptional quality. This one certainly is. To begin, just the statue itself is fantastic.
Unable to get up onto the base myself, it was so frustrating to watch Muggle Hubby admiring all the intricate detail of the handiwork, instead of searching for the cache. After checking all the obvious places he continued to search the not-so-obvious, eventually with success.
The fine craftsmanship in this cache container which already had 27 favourite points, has just earned you another one. We both thought the cache was brilliant.

Visited this cache after a suggestion from ValoForce. What a lovely memorial in Byford that I had no idea was here! Didn't take us too long. Absolutely love the camo Smile wish there were more caches like this in Sydney. TFTC ValoForce, thoroughly enjoyed this one

03-Jan-16
It took me a few revolutions to discover the cache. Great detail on the sculpture. Thanks; another favourite from me.

02-Jan-16
Popped out this evening to grab a cache for the day. Am trying to see how many days in a row I can find a cache. Our best so far is 18 days.

Had been here before, without success. Obtained a tiny push in the right direction from a previous finder, so today we had success.

A great hide. Tftc

30-Dec-15
This is truly another Valoforce hide. Once again you have amazed us. Muggle daughter has found this and is ptetty pleased with herself. Thanks to the force again!

26-Dec-15
Wow nice cache. Had a little help from krabiboy, being my first valoforce cache ilI wasnt too sure what to look for but found it after a bit of pulling and pushing. TFTC

25-Dec-15
Originally found & logged under the family caching name 'clan-wallace' but it is time to reinvent ourselves

25-Dec-15
Me & B plus Geohubby climbed on the plinth, which I refrained from doing at first because I thought it a bit disrespectful but as they were not having much luck I half joined them & found it in seconds, together with a swelled head! TFTC.....you always need plenty of favourites in hand when you venture into ValoForce territory.

25-Dec-15
What better way to spend christmas day than going caching with like minded folks. I still celebrate christmas at christmas eve with my family in the old tradition so that leaves the day for fun and games.
The last for the day for me, a very fitting cache with great camo!!!!

TFTC

14-Dec-15
The second of my ValoForce caches, and will definitely be hunting out more of them. This one was very clever, however I had an inkling after finding the last one that I would be looking for something very clever. Another fave point from me. TFTC ValoForce

ValoForce, I found your cache The Light Horseman on 14/12/2015, 6:55 PM. This is my find #2035 and #2 today.

01-Dec-15
Cool cache, better than a normal nano just sticked on

01-Dec-15
Who said a cache can't be fun twice? Brought a friend to the area to show him some ValoForce caches, and my was it fun watching him blindly look for the cache! I happened to notice I never gave this a favourite at the time (maybe I didn't have any???) and seeing it again it definitely deserves one, so please have a favourite on me Smile

26-Nov-15
Very impressed with the work and thought that went into this cache! A fairly quick but clever hide. Had all sorts of trouble trying to sign the log tho because no pens or a pencil would write on the paper for some reason. Tftc

26-Nov-15
Brilliant tftc

21-Nov-15
A quick find by Kath (who I enlisted to help this time). Very well concealed and deserves a FP. SL. Thanks to ValoForce for the cache.

18-Nov-15
Kyzabra and I decided to head to this area early this morning to knock off a few of these Valoforce caches Smile.

A reasonably quick find here by Kyzabra after a short search Big Grin. Great camo on this one worthy of a fave point [^]

ValoForce - jinta29 found your cache The Light Horseman on 18/11/2015, 5:18 AM. This is my find #4491 and find #1 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

18-Nov-15
Jinta29 and I decided to head out this morning and grab a few smileys. Smile before work. Sunrise is now lending itself to early morning cache runs Smile
We started our systematic search with no luck. Moved to a different level and almost by accident discovered this very cool piece of camo.
Don't want to give it away needless to say a fav point from me and a must do if you are in the area.

17-Oct-15
Having wandered down and around the local night markets in the Glades a search for this one on the way back to a friend's house was too good to refuse. The GPS really struggled to settle down and as such finding this cache took some 10mins. Nevertheless, persistance paid off with Daz finally logically working through the possible locations before coming up with the cache. A fantastic piece of cache hiding brilliance is worthy of a favourite point! TFTC.

13-Oct-15
Decided to head out to Byford this arvo to see if I could track down a couple of the legendary ValoForce hides.

Parked up nearby and wandered over to GZ where I searched around for a few minutes and wasn't getting anywhere. Read back on some logs and had a look at the cache page again, decided some lateral thinking might be order.

Was thinking about giving the game away when almost by accident I uncovered the container. A truly amazing piece of cache construction. Awarding a favourite.

ValoForce I found your cache at 5:22pm, this was the 1st of 1 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2351. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

SLTFTC

12-Oct-15
Was heading out to do a bit of the new series near Nettleton Road and noticed this, and the nearby cache, whilst passing so stopped to do it.

Took a walk around the memorial before starting my search. Made a quick find once the GPS settled on GZ.

Log signed and cache returned as found. Unfortunately there was a whole load of detours around the other cache that stopped me going for that one.

Thanks ValoForce for the cache.

27-Sep-15
Another awesome cache from ValoForce. This one had is scouring the object in question for a good 10 minutes until one of us made the unlikely find. What a clever cache, and at such a nice memorial. Thanks for bringing us here Smile

19-Sep-15
Very clever hide
We spent a few minutes looking around for a standard nano on a statue
Then thought outside the box!
Good effort guys we enjoyed it Smile
Thanks for the cache

18-Sep-15
The best find I have made in WA during the last week. Definitely a favourite for me. What a clever hide and a great monument. Thanks.

08-Sep-15
This is a wonderful statue of horse and soldier, and I now know every groove they have. But then the very clever camo was found.
Thanks for yet another variety and well done cache ValoForce.

06-Sep-15

We had heard impressive things about Valoforce's hides so today was set aside to hunt them down. Wow what can i say, totally impressed with the quality and cleverness of them all. No two were the same which just adds to the fun and adventure.

Another impressive camo and hide TFTC

Our mission today was to find all Valoforce caches. 4 1/2 hours later mission complete.
No cache was alike several added to my favorites.

3rd for the day. Great and clever Camo. TFTC

04-Aug-15
Although the co-ords seemed to indicate gz was elsewhere, geo-hubby made a quick find of this excellent camo. Thanks ValoForce

04-Aug-15
Another cache that I just had to visit after geodaughter WebblyWA's recommendation. Looking for the cache gave me the opportunity to look over the feature and appreciate the artist's skill. And likewise, the skill of the CO in creating this cache. TFTC, ValoForce! Another fave for this one!

04-Aug-15
This is also worthy of a fav, we both looked over the creature and admired the work, I even laid on my back and studied the underneath, maybe a bit strange.........BUT we are cachers!

While sitting and pondering, I felt the object and found the hiding spot.

Thanks for another great hide and well done piece of camo, have you been studying under a certain duck?

02-Aug-15
TFTC! With some spare time today I couldn't resist a couple of ValoForce caches. All three I attempted were really well constructed. Thanks

Add a fav.

My fav cache of the day. Very cheeky hide that epitomises our Anzacs. Keep em coming team ValoForce

02-Aug-15
Great find lucky we had a team of 4 best camo job we have seen

01-Aug-15
Hat trick of Valoforce favourites today. This one is particularly special to geospouse as her grandfather PWK Doig was in the 10th LH and Imperial Camel Corps in the Middle East in WW1 He was awarded the MC for capturing 1,000 Turks without firing a shot. Some people would think hiding a cache here was disrespectful but given the larrikin nature of these soldiers we think they would have approved. The ICC were particularly feral. Well worth reading their histories. Bravo Valoforce - we love your caches and can't wait for more!

01-Aug-15
Kids always love stopping to say Hi to the light horseman. Today was even better! Great camo ValoForce, very well done!

31-Jul-15
FTF 8.51am Wow to think I was in the area and never noticed this Statue. Thanks again Valoforce for making me see the beauty of Byford. A very cool statue which I got to examine closely whilst on my search. Another cool and well thought out camo, that I found quickly - Must be getting better!
Had a bit of trouble signing the log -I hate nanos. But there is some form of scrawl there and thank you for the $5 for coffee this was also found. Your caches are fantastic Valoforce and another Fav point from me.

31-Jul-15
Thoroughly enjoyed this find today, great location, beautifully designed memorial & a clever camo. My 2nd ValoForce find and another favorite point awarded. TFTH ValoForce

31-Jul-15
I saw 3 new caches get published this morning only 16 kms away so after having lunch i headed out by myself to find them. I left this one till last in case it took ages to find but i must admit i got lucky and found it in the second place i looked. The road was quite busy and i must say i did feel a bit silly being by myself hugging a feeling a statue of a horse lol. Great camo job here and another fav point from me TFTC ValoForce
