Logs
Good hide. Was easier to find errant golf balls. Placed with care on the neighbouring green. Logbook much too wet to sign.
A nice early morning walk with geo hound.
Lots of golfing muggles out nice and early, but no one on this track.
Thanks for setting this up, and showing us this trail

I'd had an itch to head this way for a while now so I contacted my mid week caching partner Mc Jandals and proposed a nice little clean up of the area. We had quite the adventure today caching from dawn till dusk finding some really neat caches in some beautiful areas. I managed to walk away with 23 caches with the highlights being the Tarawera Falls and our checky virtual FTF.
This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward hint. The ground was a little wet under foot but in the end - a really good day with really good company. Cheers Jess 88, TFTC

Wasn't sure about this one after reading the last log but since I was super close and I only needed one last cache to finish the museum challenge I thought why not.... so pleased I did because the cache was exactly where I thought it would be. Thanks for the great hint and excellent coordinates too!
Lovely wonder to here thx Nice quick find pitty I got here to late to go further as dark soon will be back thx.

Another dot day, and another cache to be found - unfortunately the rain did not stay away whilst we slogged our way to the cache but we still enjoyed the walk anyway. The cache was well hidden and nice and dry - forgot a pen so had to use the pencil in the cache (photo attached, in case our name is not easily seen).
Thank you for the cache placements - you are helping us clear up our dot days!

Nice tranquil walk along golf course boundary...plenty of bird song...good co ords lead to a nice quick find and sign thanks Jess88 for a great cache
out for the day after dropping school group in Whakatane and before picking up again later. Very few people out playing so no need to watch out for flying balls.
Pretty wet under foot today after recent rain.
Hand full of calves mooching aroung GZ.

This is my second full day in Kawerau and I thought I would do a smaller walk than yesterday's.
I had to be a bit stealthy here as there was a quartet of muggles nearby.
In TB.
Cheers for the cache.

Nice easy find thanks to the good clue. Not many people out on the golf course today, Labour Weekend, so had a very relaxing walk on a sunny day. Cache all good. Plenty of swag. TFTC
Good Friday walk about with maizoj & drimdram101. Realised we perhaps shouldn't be on the course. Oh well! Tftc home 4 chocolate now!

Thanks jess88. This was the one cache on tho walk I completely missed last year. Decided to come back as part of a consecutive day find. #20 now. Decided to take golf ball I found. Today was a very still Friday, and not one person on golf course. Tftc
Day 44 of a 50-day streak... Sharing the adventure with Gap (of Fap and Gap).
One for the streak... Gap had a follow-up job to do out at Otakiri. This gave us the opportunity to clear up a cache in the area rather than one local to us... This one was the last of our Kawerau 'town' caches. We arrived late evening and had the course almost to ourselves. Still, we chose to take the walking track. Before long, we struck a patch of wayward golf balls sitting fairly exposed... Obviously either poor shots, or someone has golf balls to burn. The cache was duly found and the business done. TFTC and series.

6.40pm - Had a job to do in area so no better time than to find a cache for part of our 50 day licence challenge. Squirrel tagged along, job completed now back to Kawerau on way home to collect this cache. Cut across golf course and up to tree with many branches with no problems finding cache. We picked up 8 good golf balls on way back which will come in good use one day. Day 44 of our challenge now completed. SLTFTC
Decided to go for these caches today as it's a nice day.TFTC. PS Picked up TB Drive Me Loco
Staying down with the grandkids as it was Hadleys 8th Birthday - He had the day off to do Motorcross but finished early so he and I went for a walk to get these caches. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Lots of beautiful birdsong around this cache TFTC
I walked with Nana Kath over the golf course. Lucky no one was playing and we didnt get hit by a ball. Nana Kath said she liked the tuis TFTC
Plans were made to head to White Island this weekend with Cats&Dragons but weather forecasted some gale warnings and the operator cancelled on us twice. Being already down in Hamilton we decided for Sunday to make a full day out to collect 50 smiles. And that’s what we indeed did. .
Beside the weather warning it turned out to be a great day with a lot of laughter and awesome company. Signed the logs as "ACDC" \m/. Very scary cows close to GZ. TFTC

After what had been a full week and the disappointment of not heading to White Island on Saturday and then it being once again cancelled late last night Alpenmilch80 and I decieded to head over this way and see what we could find before possibly making it back to the event in Rotorua later in the day.
After the disappointment of not going away this could not have been a nicer day to spend caching with a very good friend. This was our first cache of the day here in Kawerau and as previously had had trouble with muggled caches so was unsure how our luck would hold out but were just happy to grab what we could.
After the park and grabs we were looking forwar to collecting these caches and the short walk that this involved. Soon had the cache in hand retruned to its spot and we were on our way once again. Today we signed most of the caches as "ACDC".
Thanks for the cache and the fun contained therein

Yeah, our cache for "International Caching day", thank you Jessica
A pleasant stroll before the rain came back --- and a hide that made us FAF around a bit, funny how things can sometimes be hidden in plain sight --- our excuse was we were rushing before those threatening rain clouds returned
We will leave the other two for a sunny day or when the Supertramp visiteth!!
Left Drive Me Loco TB to continue his journeying

I saw the Facebook post that there were three caches that were published on the weekend and weren't found. Challenge accepted I raced to finish work raced home jumped in the car and of I went over the hill I had 2 1/2 hours before I needed to be back to get the kids I arrived at the golf club and nature was calling I raced over to the club rooms to see if I could find a toilet but no so I raced back to the car and as I was getting back to the car another car pulled up next to me and two people got out without golf clubs and headed towards GZ. No I thought I jumped in the car and raced into town to the visitors centre and did my business then raced back to the golf club.
I knew that I wasn't going to get FTF here but made good progress made a quick find signed the log and I was of to the next one.
Thanks Jess.

We had a leisurely walk on a sunny afternoon and this was the first we found...and it was a First To Find for us . Good clue made it nice and easy, and we moseyed on in a relaxed manner, not knowing what was in store! Thanks for the cache.
