Time to go and open the space for other geocachers to hide geocaches here.

16-Sep-18
Definitely needs some love. Lid is still missing, contents are gone (except for a healthy looking snail that has taken up residence).

19-Aug-18
Found, but no lid. Suggest maintenance

18-Aug-18
Today was another day combined with work and caching. Stayed in Rotorua for night and picked up the Squirrel on the way.
First to Putaruru then out to south of Pirongia. Bit of good planning with 2 caches a bit further up the road.
Also needed to go to Karaka on our way to Auckland for a couple of events, but with traffic issues we dodged Karaka we went to our first event on the list and arrived about 30 minutes after it started......
Rest of the day was a bit here and there collecting caches.
Found lid missing - Needs repairs. SLTFTC

18-Aug-18
I did this series a few years ago, and don't know why I didn't log it!

18-Aug-18
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)... It's International Geocaching Day. We have a mixed day of jobs and caching up and down the country...

We got away from home early so that Gap could clear some work. We blew through jobs in Putaruru and Pirongia. Then it was time to head northward to catch some events... Traffic on the Southern Motorway was hideous. We managed to catch up with ABCDF4 and eyespyben, and Team H (Huntly) R (Rotorua) P (Papamoa) got into action...

We began our Panmure Basin Walk with this cache. As others have stated, this is a nicely camouflaged bottle with no lid or log. This definitely needs maintenance. TFTC.

12-Aug-18
Found but cache open and no log. Needs new log. We did put a small piece of paper in but wont last long.

23-Jun-18
Found a soggy mash of log but missing lid and clue for bonus.

17-Jun-18
I too found a great camo pill bottle at the base of the cabbage tree. The log was mush. Cinnamon rolls are another great thing to eat. My sister in law has been making Nutella rolls lately and they're really yummy too. TFTC Smile

16-Jun-18
When we got to GZ there were a few muggles around. As we were time limited by our late arrival in Auckland we decided not to hang around and wait for them to leave. I see it has since been found although not in good condition.

27-Apr-18
This was the last cache along here for me as I needed to head back into the city. I found a very nicely camoed bottom part of the container near the base of the cabbage tree, but no log or lid. I had a good hunt around to see if I could find any other parts, but no luck so left a replacement log in the container behind the cabbage tree at the base of the hint item.

27-Apr-18
Might need a visit as the lid and log were missing

24-Apr-18
I'm up in Auckland for one of my regular visits, and with having the next week off work I am looking to break my longest streak for finds as well as push through and gain my 500th Cache whilst I'm here.
Today is day 5 of my current streak, and I managed to get a couple of hours of free time to go caching courtesy of my other half needed to go into work to sort a few things out, so what better excuse than to drop her off and go and grab a few quick ones if I could.

I have been meaning to get a chance to walk around the Panmure Basin, seeing as it's only really a 5 minute drive from where I will shortly be living, and today was the day. Having just driven from Sylvia Park via an entrance I'm not familiar with, I found myself right by this access point to the basin so I thought "why not?"

So far so good on my circuit. The weather was playing ball, and the caches had all been found so far. Could the streak continue as I approached this one? Well actually yes, it could. There were no muggles around, making this nice and easy to search for, and to find. I even liked the efforts made to disguise the cache container. The container is in great condition, as is the logbook, so it was a quick sign and then everything was put back exactly as found.

Thank you for placing this cache for others such as me to find.

We set a goal to complete this series since its so close to home. Nice easy find this time. No fishermuggles and I had hands on pretty quickly. I really love your camo jobs. Thank you so much for setting up and maintaining this series!

05-Mar-18
A bit of a hunt around then spotted. Thanks

01-Mar-18
Quick find when given the clue. Gave us a good reason to go for a nice stroll. This one is close to home. Thanks for placing this series. Love it!

01-Mar-18
Nice little evening stroll with a cache for motivation. No problems finding it. Looked like a king tide was in but no fishermen were around. Tftc Smile

29-Jan-18

23-Jan-18
Lol this was the funny one. Just where I needed to go there was a Asian guy fishing. Snuck in made the grab without being notice. Now to put it back. Snuck in again guys so focus on fishing doesn't notice me putting back. Then once safe day catch anything? Gave him a fright. Tftc

3,5 weeks caching in Australia and New Zealand - what a life-time experience.
Thanks to all the owners to show me place I would not have found with travel books.
Unfortunately this cache I could not find.

I enjoyed a nice walk around the Pamure Basin this afternoon and found the odd cache along the way. Most enjoyable. Mind the pipe if you walk into it it hurts. I know this for a fact! Cheers and TFTC

27-Jul-16
Back in Tamaki Makaurau again for a few days so decided to cache out this circular walk around Panmure Basin. Spent my time dodging showers and muggles in equal measure. Interesting stroll. Thank you for setting the circuit.

Saw a huge rat nearby so took care to wash my hands at the end of the circuit before I ate my lunch. TFTC

24-Jul-16
Bit windy but lovely view

10-Jul-16
Thought this might take a while with all the hiding holes available but GPS took me straight to GZ. TFTC

18-Jun-16
Made this one way harder than it was.........onto the next.

17-Jun-16
Lucky no rain so need to shelter!tftc

17-Jun-16
Enjoyed some of this series before getting rained out a couple weeks ago. Time for another walk around the basin. NINO TFTC

12-Jun-16
This one gave us a little trouble but found in the end. By the time we grabbed it, three guys had turned up, baited a hook and a caught a snapper in the basin outlet. Even legal size! Suspect they were more delighted about their catch than we were about our cache - but we were still pleased. TFTC.

06-Jun-16
Lots of places to look around here, but didn't take too long to find it. TFTC

05-Jun-16
Fortunately the homeless people living in the shed were out for the day-tftc

TFTC, caching with rustynz

01-May-16
Local fishermen made this one tricky. Returned safely. TFTC

01-May-16
Loving our walk around the water - a few others are enjoying the area too, walking their dogs, using the exercise equipment, and this is the spot of our first fishermen!

The hint was open to interpretation, and luckily no one was in the concrete structure. Walked over to where rebel98 had been searching, and I quickly located the cache. Yeah another one Big Grin

Thanks for the series of hides!

01-May-16
Nice easy find. Thanks

26-Apr-16
A think the building is home to a homeless person. Quick find

25-Apr-16
Smile Found ... we had seen these pop up quite a while ago but hadn't got around to doing anything about it until now ... today we thought we'd go for a bit of a walk & see how many of these we could find ... there were a lot of 'muggles' around, which made picking up some of these up quite difficult & impossible for a couple of them, so we'll need to come back & have a crack at those another day ... this was the 8th cache of 9 for today ... the cache was easily found & quickly replaced ... TN:LN:SL ... TFTC ... #1,301 for us.

24-Apr-16
Luckily a nice quick find as muggles came just after replacing to enjoy the view on the nearby seat.

24-Apr-16
Awaited till there were no muggles

24-Apr-16
Took a while to spot, had to wait until the coast was clear

10-Apr-16
Last of my four caches here today, found in scheduled breaks at my seminar at Waipuna. The rain was the only problem, getting heaviest the further I ventured from the seminar venue. TFTC

09-Apr-16
Super good hiding place! With LucaG

03-Apr-16
I figured it would be a good day to start this series and despite the intermittent rain it was a great day for a walk. So after a brief look at the hint item I found the trick and made the quick find. Nice work on the camo for this one! TFTC! #807

02-Apr-16
Out geocaching with a few muggle members of our family (their first time caching.) Easy find - so much stink here though due to the fishermen/ women. TFTC

27-Mar-16
Found. Great spot! On to the next

05-Mar-16
This was probably my favorite hide of the series. Nicely hidden and yet very obvious. Thanks.

29-Feb-16

08-Feb-16
Took a while, but got there in the end!

08-Feb-16
We looked in allll the wrong places for this one and came pretty close to a dnf. Coordinates weren't very accurrate so we got pretty creative with our searching Very Happy tftc, theGLS

08-Feb-16
Took us a while but we got there in the end.

08-Feb-16
More doggy diversions and gym equipment used to help divert muggles from noticing anything. This one took us a little longer. tftc

08-Feb-16
This one took us a bit more of a search than the previous finds, but we eventually came up with the goods.

08-Feb-16
Out with Merlot58, Pazzabella & Mum, & 6 geodogs on the perfect summer's caching day. We searched in all the wrong places for a while...but got there in the end. Tftc - loved this series Smile

05-Feb-16
Another exercise station nearby. Considering how well we'd done at previous ones we opted to use it as a seat while we logged this cache LOL. TFTC

31-Jan-16
Nice walk

26-Jan-16
Enjoying the walk round the lake TFTC

26-Jan-16
Alright, well hidden☺️TFTC

23-Jan-16
We decided to head north for the day and meet up with our old Geobuddies Steed&Peel for an afternoon walk around the basin to grab some Geocaches. I managed to 'scone' myself ( I hate myself a little for the food pun-but its so accurate I couldn't help myself) on the overhead pipe near GZ. Steed who is not as vertically abundant as I had no such distractions to contend with and soon spotted the cache.

23-Jan-16
Another advantage of being height poor, no sconing. I like the pun, we knead more of them!

23-Jan-16
Nice hide had us looking for a little. Tftc

23-Jan-16
Tftc. Out with my son & his family today. Waited till late afternoon as it was so hot earlier. My son's partener doesn't like crossing over bridges but did very well to overcome it & make it to the other side. Cache was a little tricky but well hidden.

14-Jan-16
Well heading to GZ, it was ok, which way, left or right, I was doing the basin in Clock wise direction, seems I got my choice right and had cache in hand quickly, TFTC.

09-Jan-16
Thanks Vamber for the cache trail

Last one for today, but we'll be back for more

07-Jan-16
#1631. Almost done the full circuit now. This place was one of the more out of the way hides on the trip. Even with muggles fishing not too far away I could search here and sign the log without prying eyes. The hint made the find very straightforward. Soon had cache in hand, log signed and returned as found. Its been an enjoyable afternoon walking around and finding these caches. Thanks for hiding them here Vamber.

05-Jan-16
Found with Allepousse. TFTC

05-Jan-16
Found while taking a walk around the lagoon after staying at Waipuna for a week, before heading home.

04-Jan-16
GPS had us going all over the place! Eventually Phil had the cache in hand after almost knocking himself out. SL TFTC

03-Jan-16
Log replaced

30-Dec-15
Nice quick and easy find. Thanks for the experience

30-Dec-15
Again my GPS seemed to be off a bit from GZ as I would've ended up searching in the water Wink but using the hint and a fair bit of searching I finally had the cache in hand. TFTC!

29-Dec-15
Had a good quick find on this one, now, on to the next. Tftc

29-Dec-15
TFTC, a quick find once the muggle had moved on

29-Dec-15
I watched social biz guy find this one. There's nothing like watching someone who claimed he had an easy find Smile

23-Dec-15
Good cache. Took me a while though. Thanks!

19-Dec-15
Kiwiscot & Scotty again meeting Kiwi for a little picnic by the water during his lunch break. After bread rolls and doughnuts we ventured forth to find a few more baked goodies. Love cinnamon rolls. Did not take long to locate using the hint. Almost completed the series. Only a couple to go but they will need to wait for another day. TFTC

16-Dec-15
Nice walk With Firemansam.
Found quickly while he was still fluffing around

16-Dec-15
After a morning of shopping we decided to go for a little walk. While I'm still wandering around trying to get a lock on GZ Fuzzy fruit has the cache in her hand.

13-Dec-15
And there was number 9 with the head height obstacle to navigate to and from!! I was the last to get to GZ and my son had his hands on it already. Thanks Vamber, love cinnamon rolls. Onto the next ....
#357

13-Dec-15
Walked to this one and then, as seems to happen all too frequently when I where a cap or hat with a brim, I hit my head really hard - for some reason I often just don't see obstacles about head height when I have a brim. Bit of a headache for the rest of the day. Nephew (part of casaba3) found the cache again and, even after my accident, my sister almost hit her head too! Sat down to sign the log but found it full and again I added a paper log and a small zip log bag to protect it. Stayed sitting while nephew replaced the cache. 9 down, if you count the first, missing one, and 4 to go... Great series Vamber!
