This one took my breath away. Glad to stop and rest a bit. Thanks for the challenge.
Staying in Nelson a couple days for work. Walked down from Princess drive and found quickly. Tftc.
A quick find on the way back from the Saturday market with TregearP on another stunning Nelson morning - warm, sunny and not a breath of wind.
All in good order, thanks for the cache.

Had looked for this previously in absolute pouring rain and yes it was pretty slippery, suggested to SJT_NZ that we give the ground a good chance of drying out so as not to fall in same peril as previous finder. Today a few walkers but all firm of foot and a quick find. TFTC
A short walk from my accommodation. A little slippery but achieved in jandals! TFTC
Very small, very slippery, managed to stay on my feet, lmgrainger nearly didn't Slipping and sliding his way down the bank Hahaha!
This one had me in and out ...
And nearly flat on my bum ... more than a couple of times ... ; )

I did not know this shortcut was here, as I was about to go up three ladies came down, while signing the log two boys zoomed past on their bikes and as I was nearly back on the street a man was heading up. So while I didn't know about it, it seemed as though plenty do. It was very slippery getting to GZ so I very slowly and cautiously made my way across the mud. A nice quick find was made. Thanks Sidewaze for the cache
Went to get this cache talk about shortcut I did a shortcut all right landed flat on my back cover in mud as it very wet .Cache was nice in dry I wouldn't say the same for me Thanks for the cache Sidewaze
out to grab a couple of caches to fill out a missing day, very muddy up here today, managed to keep up right
Found after doing the Tamaki steps with FnJax. Tricky find as it was not within its camo. Replaced in correct spot. TFTC
Found after conquering the Tamaki Street Steps with ChisL. Hard to find as the cache wasn't in its camo.

Didn't get the hint but the cache wasn't hard to find. While I was in the bush, a couple of women went up the stairs, I waited for them to pass before jumping out of the bush
Thanks for the cache!

I got the hint. I walked to the cache. it is a nice little spot with a really good view, not quite to the beach. I signed the log on the nice grassy area nearby the walkway. I hadn't been in this area before. I reached the 200 cache milestone , which means I get a ranking [^]. It is good that I have reached my goal [^] & one that many Nelson geocachers were saying that I should achieve by the end of the year . Find #200

With the popping and cracking of fireworks it seemed only right that I joined in and opened a box of crackers, or two, whilst caching around my local and not so local area. A bonus trip over the hill to Nelson was planned, but with the added bonus of some shopping, so no great amount of numbers but a few 'here and there' to whet the appetite. An extra treat was a mighty 5 Multi caches, a real boost to a (recently) neglected cache type was rectified a little bit. I had to be back in Blenheim for around 6 pm to have tea then head over to the nearby G I F F 2016 event.
After a side trip to the Saturday market we headed to Mega, but first a quick stop here for a cache. Parked over the road then retraced my footsteps and headed up. A Q E F soon ensued, and replaced as found

Cool cache. Was quite an easy find. Couldn't work out what "Shortcut" ment in relation to finding the cache. However I went for a short slip down the hill as it had recently been wet up there. TFTC
After a few drinks last night and a bed in a nearby backpackers - it was an early start this morning to grab a few local caches before all the muggles get out of bed.
Saw a few DNF's on this one recently - but didn't put me off giving it a go.
Was quite easy to locate - not really sure that it was supposed to be there? (Maybe warrants a wee check by the CO?). I put it back exactly as found.
Almost muggled by a coupl of early morning runners - but they were still half asleep and didn't notice me at all.

The coordinates basically led to nothing except someone else's backyard, so after reading past comments we gave up on this one.
Found cache marker easily , realised something was amiss, and after a quick search through the leaf debris found the small log container. After filling in log we placed the container under the marker. needs attention. We enjoyed having a chat with a fellow geocacher who spotted us as she was doing a training run up the steps. A nice little walk, worth the effort. Thanks for the cache
I found a likely spot, and possible hint marker, some black tape and a block, but sadly no container.
Down in Nelson for a couple of days and wanted to find at least one cache today to commemorate a special day and as this one was just down the road, it was it. Heading to grab a bite to eat and up the walkway as we passed for a quick find. Took a seat on the path in the sun to do the paperwork. Thanks for a nice quick find in a good spot Sidewaze.
Passing through Tahuna and in need or a quick GC fix. This was a perfect park and find, with only a few steps to climb. TFTC
November in Europe, the dark month, neighter autumn nor winter: short days, rain, fog. Everywhere unlucky people.
But now we are in NZ. Early sunrise, mighty green and flowers everywhere. Happy cows and sheeps also. We delight look forward to such lovely challenge. Thank you NZ. Greetings from Germany, from the mountains of Harz. TFTC

Given the drizzle this morning and some time spend prepping a couple of up-coming hides, I needed a quick find today, so diving into my bucket list, this cache was kind of on the way to work, so warranted a quick look.
Approaching from the top end, all was quiet now kids at school, so with a sense of uncertainly given earlier "mind, it's a bit slippy" type logs, I headed to the GZ.
No worries, as it turned out. A period of dry weather made things nice and quick and I soon spotted the likely hiding feature, but almost missed the camo'd container.
Certainly a nice wee shortcut, if you happen to want to go that way!
Thanks

This was the twelfth day of my fifteen day trip to go to the Christchurch Mega. After I checked in to my motel, I went out for a few caches. I'd like to say I took a shortcut to get here, but it was the long way around the block. TFTC.
A fun shortcut on a bike! Stairs present a challenge, so then the find was relatively easy.
Thanks Sidewaze

This cache really lived up to its name for me today. My plan had been a walk in the hills for a cache this afternoon but other things kept me busy until very late in the day. By then I discounted the hills and decided on the airport walkway but on the way there the predicted rain started and although it wasn't bad I was happy to take this shortcut instead. TFTC #7269
We have friends who live at the top of the shortcut, although this is not the way we usually go to visit them. Mrs Sobad managed to keep upright during the last few meters to the cache , but the effects of the recent rain were very apparent. We carried on to the top in case our friends were home. They weren't so we carried on caching.
Thanks.
Thanks.
The approach to gz was much less treacherous than I was expecting from the early logs. No issues even in my office shoes. Nice to visit a new urban place that I had never been to before.
Thanks Sidewaze for the cache.

Quick muggle free find before work this morning. Wish I'd read the previous logs about the slippery conditions. Certainly tested my office shoes!! Thanks for the smilie Sidewaze!!
There's been a flurry of new caches lately and it's taking me a while to mop them up Not a bad thing.
Slowed down as I drove past the bottom and decided that via the top was the better option.
Rather slippery today after the rain. Left a skiddy.

Out finding a few new(ish) caches this morning. 2TF here. After overshooting a few metres I backtracked to a logical hiding place and there was the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
My intened direction of travel, so nicked up to this.
Nice one thanks Sidewaze.

A good find for us this morning on International Geocaching Day. Many thanks for the cache.
The publication of this cache was very timely with the nearby event in Tahuna being held this morning, so we made sure we left home with plenty of time to find a cache or 3 en route. This was the third stop of the morning and after a short walk up from the bottom, we were soon at GZ. It looked rather slippery around GZ. In fact we noticed a couple of skid marks and I was keen not to make another, so StreetWalker was volunteered to find and retrieve, which he did without incident.
The third name in the log book, so a podium finish! TFTC.

A shortcut used by many. There was enough time between passers by to locate sign and replace the cache. Only just though. Thank you Sidewaze for placing this cache.
Found on the way to the Event this morning. We did consider looking for it last night when published but the weather and other factors decided against that. Luckily for us we had a gap between muggles to complete formalities. Thank you Sidewaze.
Found it today just before the Event. The Terrain rating was heading up as the wet conditions under foot made the short walk tricky. Nonetheless a quick find and log. Thanks Sidewaze.
#9868. There were some skid marks next to the obvious hiding place, which made us wonder whether the CO or a previous finder had come to grief. The terrain was slippery so I picked my way carefully past the skidmarks, and had no trouble retrieving the cache. TFTC.
