Enjoying these caches which are showing us the access point and this is such a clever hide, it deserves another Favourite point. TFTC!
I noted the glut of FPs on this one and my interest was piqued. Once I peaked at GZ I noted the thing of interest, and all was good for a quick sign and replace.Evening time and we headed out to the beach along the road to Cape Kidnappers for an explore, and a couple of finds too. After a few weeks in Penang, Malaysia I'm back home and keen for a few days off away with mrs c. I'd booked the work bach prior to heading away so a 3 night break in Havelock North was appealing. Not a huge cache-fest, I'd decided to forego the Mega in Dunedin, but still nice to move around and pick off a few here and there. The weather was awesome, similar temperatures to South East Asia, but without the humidity. Thanks to all COs for their hides and maintenance.
This was a great spot to watch all the surfers catching the big waves in. That is if your definition of a surfer is an ant riding a leaf. In fact even the ants were probably complaining about the swell today.I cant really complain, back home in Redcliffe where we live is probably the only beach in South East Queensland that doesnt have surf. In fairness there is a big sand island blocking thr fun. At least I can get a car park. There has only been one time I have been able to surf home in Redcliffe. That was during a cyclone when I was a teenager and stupid. Somehow, Im still stupid just not as young. Adding a favourite point to the pile. tftc
This one took me really long.First try I gave up and went to other caches. On my way back to the cache-car, gave it an other try. While I was walking and thinking out loud "it has to be camouflaged some how", I saw something odd in the corner of my eye.TFTC
Great find here. Found with teamrosenz on a murky winters day. Pretty quick find but a great find. Love your work.
Hey great spot. Thanks for the local hint as my phone was a bit out. Really sorry I didnt bring a pen. Log for evidence if thats okay.
TFTC. Its a long time since I have found a lovely cache like this. Thanks for creating it for others to enjoy.
Great hide which my grand-daughter found quickly. Picked up the trackable. Thanks
Nice easy find by Geokid 10. Geomum didnt even make it out of the car . Great view TFTC.
Reading the log entrstet from the others we knew this was a special one. And it is! Found it relatively quick though. Thanks for showing us this nice spot and for this creative cache.
Saw the hiding spot right away and promptly ignored it. We gave up, found two others and on the way back gave it another try. Found it this time. Very clever indeed. TFTC!
Nicely done. Beautiful spot and a clever cache. Thank you for adding to our fun. found with Seattles Best.
Our NEW ZEALAND - TASMANIA - AUSTRALIA JOURNEY takes us to beautiful places and provides us with an incredible number of wonderful moments and experiences.Occasionally we also visit a few GeoCaches along the way.Nicely done.... Together with our entry in the guestbook, we are happy to leave a blue ribbon there....Thank you for placing, maintaining and caring snapfish2 from SwitzerlandPS: Translated with the Deepl app
Visiting NZ to see Robbie Williams at Hawkes Bay so next day came here randomly to find this clever hide. Seen a few of these but still love them. FP and TFTC!
After attending the Rod Stewart concert last night we decided to start today with finding a couple of caches out near where we were staying. There were a few people out walking in the area this morning, but not enough to stop us having a good look around. One of us noticed something that we needed to check a bit more closely, and the nicely concealed cache was in hand. Adding a Favourite point. Thanks.
We dropped a trackable pick up and take to its next destination, awesome hide, we got a fright from the huge cockroach
A clever hide, good view and a lovely breeze to cool us down.
Infoferret has a few days of leave to use up and asked if I would like to accompany her on a jaunt to Napier. How could I say no???
Kia ora rawa atu for the cache Treasure-hunting Tim.

8 February 2023 16:20 TFTC Treasure-hunting Tim for placing this cache, number 12347 for me.
I came here to look at the sea, which wasn't very nice because of the algae, but still a great view. Viewed myself an excellent cache in a solid hide as well - and managed to avoid the swarm of bugs living with it. Tftc!
On my way to the Gannets I found some caches.
Very great hidde.
Thanks and one point.

This is a super cool cache hide, took a moment to spot it, lasting well, have a FP, cheers
Getting dark on this sunsetting scene, finding the cache was a bonus. Tricky hide, but a good one.
#1801. Day 3 of our (GB Leader and I) 10 day Hawkes Bay odyssey to watch grandsons play cricket. Brooklyn JCC had two games today, both at Flaxmere Park, Hastings. Two wins. Yay!
We are staying at a unique homestay at Te Awanga surrounded by historic books, photos, maps and old suitcases. Fascinating place.
After the cricket and a group Thai tea, it was time to head back to Te Awanga, but first a twilight (nearly dark!) search for this cache at Haumoana. Looked in the gathering gloom in the obvious places without success, then had an ah-ha moment and the cache was in hand! Great hide!
Tftc Treasure-hunting Tim, purplegoosenz & kids! I am awarding a FP for cleverness! And for me, it’s the cache needed to Reach the Peak of Aconcagua.

A long overdue visit to this area specifically to look for caches - I usually cycle through with a group. Word of your caches has got around this neighbourhood - a couple returning from the beach enquired if I'd found it.... and stared the way to my success. They weren't geocachers but friends had told them about it. a FP from me.
Oh my lord I was frustrated then like magic it occurred to me :-p Such a great hide! Found with RSCole
NBice hide! Took a bit of hunting before I saw it, but as soon as I saw the camo I knew I had found the cache Now if only those muggles with their dogs would stop chatting and leave...
Retrieved the cache eventually.
I was supposed to go to the mega. Which got postponed, so I cancelled my arrangements, but labour weekend is still a three day holiday... but car hire was too expansive. So I decided to make it this weekend for a road trip to Napier, to mop up the TM- and PW- GTs there.

pleased to find quickly as have spent much time here in the past looking for this. Camo blends in well. tftc
Haha great hide. I would've never found it if I wasn't with someone who works in the industry. Enjoyed this one. Dropped a tb.
Oh great hide! Down at the beach at the finish line for the Hawkes Bay 1/2 marathon. Not running, but support crew. Might as well grab a couple. TFTC
Spent some time looking for this one until an ah-ha moment and the cache was found. Very clever. Fav from me. Thanks for the hunt and for the cache.
Staying at Clifton beach campground for 4 nights.... yesterday I walked up Te Mata peak and back down the long way and really lucked out with the caching by only successfully finding 1. Today I am up early and out on my bike as the others want to head into Napier shopping...so I have to be back by 10.
Managed to lean the bike right up against the cache - so was pleased for a bit of camo from nearby muggles.

On holiday and doing a video few caches. This one had me going until I noticed something wasn't quite right... All good at GZ. TFTC. Gets a favorite from me.
What a cool cache! We thought something seemed out of the ordinary here... on a day mission down from Auckland and if this is the only cache we get it was so worth it! Tftc
A little bit of head scratching, thinking what about this, nah what about that, when a few minutes later thinking I need to put another layer due to the ocean breeze and then decided to check out another option and Lo and behold, yippee cache in hand. Collected Tb. Favourite given.
Out and about with AliGle today, exploring the area on a couple of hired bikes and looking for a few geocaches along the way. This tricky, but clever hide took us a little while to find! Started looking in the more obvious places first, before thinking a bit differently. TFTC - fav point added!
Staying in the Hawkes Bay with Vistra for a few days and grabbing a some caches in the local vicinity. Today we hired cruiser bikes and caching on two wheels. Hoping for a wine stop or three. Took us a few minutes to locate this one, but made us smile when we did. Left a TB.
"Ït's a hard one" came chiming out as we looked for this one. One of the locals had busted us! However, just as she said it we found the cache. It took her lots of looks, she told us, so we were rather delighted with our find. Fav point awarded. Cache is all good. TFTC
We loved your caches! Specially this one! Everybody can see it but moldus will never be interested by it! Thank you for the walk and for the cache! ️
The lockdown has lifted, but with our International wings clipped, a domestic road trip is in full swing.
An awesome little hide, Thanks
An awesome little hide, Thanks
Today we rented bicycles to go from Napier to Clifton. Unfortunately the tide was not good to visit the gannets, but we had a nice lunch close to the ocean. On the way back we searched for a few caches. As quite some others, we searched for a while. And just when we decided to leave, it was there Thanks for the good and nice hide!
Was looking here for a while even with cacher xsaveya to help after reading some logs it all fell into place where the cache maybe just needed to think outside the square and ensure no muggles were around busy area. Tftc great hide
On the way to get dinner and decided to do a quick stop here took a lot longer then it should have. I was getting a bit over it and was very hungry. Tftc
I might have missed this one if it weren’t for Foxtrotter. Can’t wait to get outside & play again Tim

Loved this hide - very clever! Had FF65 running in circles, but mama Foxtrotter knew just what to do! Thanks - coveted FP awarded to this one for the clever use of cammo...............
The hint did not really help here, but the cache was located where expected! It would have been easier to remove if it was replaced in the direction of the arrows. TFTC!!
Very clever. Definitely worth the fav point. Took me a while but didn't want to admit defeat. Clue didn't help, just perserverance. Tftc
I found the co ords to be slightly out but once I expanded my search area the clever cache was quickly located although I did walk past it initially.
Thanks for a well thought cache - very clever indeed! Now back to the warmth of the car on this cold evening.

Very very clever. Touched the camo with only snall suspicion but I was right on it! TFTC +1FP
Staying in Te Awanga for the weekend. Wanted to collect some local caches. Great opportunity to get out on bikes and give the geodog a good run around. Have previously failed miserably to find this cache. This time came with a different mind set and noted something strange straight away. A favourite from us. TFTC
A FP from us for this
We are away in our campervan just cruising the manawatu to Waiarapa then on to Hawkes Bay and return. During our tour we enjoyed travelling the quiet roads away from the main state highways. we enjoyed the bike trails around the Napier to Clifton and the inland trails up to Hastings and beyond, many of these trails of course were extra special because they had geocaches placed along them. Many thanks to all those who look after the caches. We hope you enjoy the same when you come into our area.
Sorry about the cut and paste if you have more than one geocache that we had found

Hmmm, almost had has fooled but then we checked the difficulty rating and thought again. Got it! Nice one and a FP from us. Tftc
Have been planning these caches for a few weeks in conjunction with HKCB for a mad dash and effectively a 24 hour run (so that we could spend time with our respective families) for the rest of the ensuing weekend.
Leaving Hamilton at 7pm Friday and getting home midnight on Saturday so that at least 6hours quality sleep was acheived, sleeping in the car is always a bonus (2 hours) and the remainder of the time caching around part of the country we hadn't previousley done a whole lot, but have left plenty for the next trip across the hill.
This was the twentith of the 25 prior to sleep and 100+ that we acheived in that time we were over here. The Bonus was that we largely managed to stay dry, if only slightly damp on the outside.
Thanks to all the CO's for the effort and giving some great caches, sorry about the repetitive logs but then 100 is a few to cover off.
Thanks for the placement, thanks for the cache.

We had been talking about cache bash in Napier for a while, and when Cats&Dragons mentioned a trip down here this weekend I couldn't say no. The plan was to head down Friday night (leaving Hamilton about 7pm) and then cache til we can then grab a few hours sleep and then cache through til late afternoon and then head home. The plan worked well, with about 110 caches found over the 24 hour caching period.
It was the first time we had visited Napier to do a caching mission, and we were both impressed with the genius hides (some we hadn't seen before, I'll give a special mention to those ones). A big thanks to all the CO's whose caches we found, for placing and maintaining them. A great trip and looking forward to a revisit.

This took a while then suddenly Mrs S shouted and she had the cache in hand. Very clever hide. Tftc.
This had me stuck for a while. Then I found it by accident, I'm not sure why I put my hand there.
Very well done, thank not

Away in the Geocamper for a few days down Napier Hastings way taking the bikes and riding the trails and doing some caches. Whoa, there are some big cockies around here, we only have little ones at home in Rotorua. Mr S soon found this one even though it was a clever hide. We have seen this kind before.
Thanks Treasure-hunting Tim. One more smilie on the trail although we are not riding the bikes, it's way way way toooooooo hot today.
