Lid is broken and sistema changed the shape of their containers. Replacement diorama is out of the question.
*logbook is totally wet*Found had to send the one wearing shoes in cos not brave enough to brave snakeville in thongs
A bit of a ride around the top part of Lysterfield Park to collect a few caches.Lovely weather, but a few very steep hills - glad I had an e-MTB.A great diorama. Unfortunately it seems to be a rainforest setting, as I emptied a fair bit of water from the scene. The lid of the container is broken and needs some TLC.Thanks, Robmc.
A great cache, thank you! Sadly, the lid is no longer waterproof, so the contents are, perhaps, even more jungle-like than when initially built...
Found it! The hill was easy in comparison to the dense boneseed bushes. Terrible weeds they are! I pulled a few out and broke off some branches on my way to GZ. I eventually spotted the cache guardian so I knew the cache wasn’t too far away. Like others I found the cache container rather full of water which I drained out. The log book is damp but I managed to leave my name. I put it in an extra plastic ziplock bad and replaced the container. Very much Jurassic Swamp today. When I pass next, I will bring a new lid for the cache. TFTC SL
it is great to be out here today walking around.I live close by but never come out this way. It is great out here
Lots of bush bashing to get to this cache, good thing we are both vertically challenged it makes for getting under low branches much easier. Cache eventually spied and signed.
Had to bush bash in to get to this one. Log book was a bit damp as there is a crack in the lid. May need looking at. Thank you The Rustys for placing and maintaining JURASSIC PARK for us to find today.

Well, that was a mammoth walk up a hill! While you could probably park closer, I had left the car near the lake. I struggled up one of the hills here, but I passed a guy running down the hill! Some people are crazy!!
I had to crash through the brush to find this cache, and I did feel like a little dino, lol. What an amazing effort has gone into this cache. I admired it for a moment, and then replaced it as found. Thanks for the cache and the fun adventure.

Ride, walk rest, repeat was the routine for me today. Damn hills!
Cache lid has some damage and the log and cache are damp.
Great cache Thanks to The Rusty's

The weather this week continues to be amazing and so today I decided to make the most of it. It was finally time to finish off the NHL series I had started over a year ago and gather some other nearby caches.
As I approached this cache I could almost hear the orchestra playing the Jurassic Park theme music, just as those giant brown gates would open. As I bush bashed in to locate this cache I wondered if I would (as is usually the case) find there was a much easier way out. Not today!
I eventually found the well constructed cache and signed the log. A favourite point for the cache construction.
Thanks The Rustys for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

Managed to bush whack my way to GZ thinking there must be a better path.
Tried something different on exit and same result. Ha.
Found a better way only when back on the track.
Great find here. Very artistic and appreciated.
Fav added to the pile.

Out and about with echidna44 for another enjoyable day of caching and chatting. Whow look at some of the houses out here. Thought that would need to drive to get to there bbq. Our plan for the day being to get to Cardenia Reservoir to finish off we started some time ago. We needed a clue from a cache nearby and temptation bot the better of us. It was a bit of a bush bash in the end to a very very wet cache. The animals in side did not mind at all. Made our mark and of to another critter. Thanks for the caceh The Rustys
Out with xambo4u we cached in the Harkaway area.
We had to change plans when we discovered the gates to Cardinia Dam were locked, and would stay so for the next 5 weeks while they repaired the dam wall.
Magnificent houses here. Great cache, but full of water which we drained out. Thanks The Rusty’s.

I was on a longer walk around the lake, and was so glad this was not far off the track. Well worth finding. Thanks for the work it took to construct the cache. Wonderful stuff!
TFTC - please be careful where you step i ran into a sleeping echidna near GZ
Warning! I was walking through here on a warm, sunny winter's day thinking I'm really glad it's not summer because this looks like snake heaven. Only for a baby snake to jump out at me at GZ I guess it's a reminder that nope ropes love the sun and don't use calendars haha!
Despite the heebie jeebies following our encounter I still loved finding this cache! Super fun!
Parking at a nearby street enabled this cache to stay within my 5k radius and it seems I'm not the only one with quite a few other cars here! Thanks the cache!

Weather was cool and the ground was wet underfoot from early morning rain but still it was great to be out and about today for a walk around Lysterfield Park
This was the 5th of 5 finds
Great way to finish the day off
Impressive hide found in excellent condition
Deserving of a fav point from me. Many thanx to the Rusty's for a great cache

Really enjoyed this particular path, gently descending past more chilled-out kangaroos. But, just as we arrived in the vicinity of this cache, my phone spat the dummy. So I was a bit distracted as we were looking for it (having no working device in my hand). Anyway, I got my phone back online and we found the cache soon thereafter, so all was OK. Another very cute diorama in good condition. Such fun. TFTC
This cache was amazing! First one we have ever seen like it. So clever. Definitely worth the hunt!
Fantastic! Haven’t seen this type of cache before. Loved it. Out with kids exploring another part of lysterfield park. We parked at nearby road just 1 min walk away. Perfect quiet spot.
The third of 8 caches today with Fitzelfleas and geochild. Grabbed this on the way to another from the Jitterbug series. Thank you for you effort! What a cute cache & guardian TFTC
What an awesome construction! Grabbed this one on the way to one of the Jitterbug caches. Love it. The guardian is most ferocious .
Spotted the cache guardian from a distance. I think this one may have been partially muggled. Log book was on the ground away from cache and a bit damp. Placed it in a new zip lock bag and back in the cache. Nice work on the diorama.
Out on a cold spring day.
Great cache
Thanking for bringing me here

What a beautiful cache. Geocaching with hudsonrubyeg in a lovely spot. Plenty of kangaroos enjoying the sun. Tftc
Geokid was very excited to discover the guardian and such a lovely cache. Thank you!
Detour here after found mystery cache nearby. Cute cache, thanks for your time create this awesome cache, made me a smile after being so wet and dirty from taking long time to find other cache.
Found on a great walk in this corner of the park. The cache “guardian” was down and inside the cache so we placed him back in a suitable position. Kids enjoyed the final find on a great day out. TFTC
Startled Skippy!
Not quite sure which one of us got the biggest fright.
Always impressed to find another diorama.
Thanks Rusty.

I spent far too long in the house on what was a nice sunny boxing day, so come 5pm I fled the house seeking views a little more natural and a little exercise. This came in the form of a 10km loop from Wellington/Lysterfield up to the trig point and back.
The walk in was nice, once I got past the plaintive howls of the dogs.
I've found a couple of other diorama caches by The Rusty's, so I knew what to expect more or less, and this cache didn't disappoint. And unlike some in Jurassic Park, I survived.
Thanks for the cache.

We parked at the picnic grounds in Churchill Park and rode around up and down hills, and past here where we stopped for a hunt and another find. A little surprise awaited us when we opened the cache!
Thanks
Thanks
What a ripper of a cache in a ripper of a day! Loved the trek and the container was out of this time! Cheers! Definite favourite point from me!
Running about doing a few chores. Passing near to here so I decided to reward myself with a couple of caches.
Found this delightful cache easily. Cache is in good condition - no doubt due to the guardian..

Very cool! We interrupted a kangaroo on our way here, not sure who was more startled as he hopped away through the dark.
Picked up a cache in the area so thought we would finish the day with Jurassic Park. This took us awhile as we were going back and forwards. Finally spotted it and signed the log. I bet kids love this one as we were both really impressed. Thanks again, The Rusty’s for the time and effort put into your caches.
As we approached GZ, we noticed a guardian of the cache. Opening the container was a treat. Love the meticulous detail of the diorama. Absolutely appreciate the effort. TFTC The Rusty's.

It’s awhile since I’ve been here for MTB so out to explore, find a few caches and see what has changed - more management for starters. Great time of day and plenty of resident Roos for company. TFTC
Up in this park for the first time today, I love it, so beautiful. Found this one quickly a and lived the container, Thankyou so much for the time spent on a great cache!
We are in the area collecting caches to up our points for the planetary pursuit souvenirs. Geomum feels as if she has seen the contents of the cache somewhere in the digital world before, and was thrilled to find the actual cache.
We took the two TB’s and left one VERY special Trackable in the cache. Please only take this if you are REALLY serious about taking care of it.
An extraordinary cache with a lot of love going into its creation. Thank you for sharing it with us Rusty’s.

I was in this area today providing support to a team of cachers on the Oxfam Trailwalker event. There was some time before I was due at the next checkpoint so I was able to head to this part of the park and pick off a few caches that I hadn’t previously found. This was my third find of four and on my return journey back to where I had left the car. Took me a little while to work in to the correct area (there seemed to be a few that matched the hint!) but no problems spotting the good sized container. Took nothing, dropped a TB, signed log and visited some other trackables. Thanks for the cache The Rustys. I loved the work on the container as expected from you.

Nice day for caches to catch up with crank1. Very quiet park to walk along. Nice and found. Thanks The Rusty's for the cache.
Haha this was an excellent surprise! I had no idea this would be part of the cache! Great way to end a day of caching.
A little detour off the path, with some curious kangaroos following me, I found it.
First find for the day. Very cute cache..
Out geocaching over the holidays and thought we'd hike and cache at the same time. Walked about 14km in the end...
Loads of muggles out today enjoying the public holiday on bikes and walking.
Got back to the car at about 5:30pm (beat the rain, did see dark clouds but the blew over us), as we took the long way back and hoped were heading the right way as my phone died so couldn't use that to see the map.
Kids had a ball, not tired (feet as lil sore) but did some exploring (bush bashing), rock hoping, saw many kangaroos and one echidna...
Good day out...
i think l dropped off a tb in this cache (can't remember if this one or the fairy one... but l did write in logbook that l dropped it off... kids say it was this one)

Just catching up on logs... Fabulous cache, just like all the others in series we've done so far, a favourite for geodaughter and I. Being terribly observant, we spotted the cache guardian after we found the cache LOL
Thanks The Rustys for caches that never fails to impress

I do love the hint dinosaur on this one, it would be very cool for young kids to find. I found it, signed the log and replaced as it was. TFTC The Rustys
Was in the area with buddyclub to pick up the last of the NHL series and decided to the shoot over here and check this one out as well. Fantastic cache - must've taken you ages to put together. Thanks The Rustys
Back in the area to finish the NHL series today with CashewMinx. Thought we would drop over here to grab this too. Impressive! Thanks The Rustys
My son is doing a 10 week challenge through the Rotary and his primary school and picked caching for the sport component. The requirement is an hour of sport per week. Today we braved the horrible weather and the stubborn toddler to do this weeks hour. Mr 2 decided he wanted to stomp in every puddle along the way whilst muttering about treasure so a quick walk took a lot longer than necessary especially as he kept walking back the way we came. Fortunately there was a break in the rain. He was freaked out by the 'dragon' who was guarding gz then threw a tantrum when he wasnt allowed to play with the cache contents. Then, as we were making our way back he stepped in a rabbit hole and sunk thigh deep. Luckily I'd brought several changes of clothes. Tftc, it was a nice little adventure.
There were kangaroos all over the place when I walked to this one although none seemed very concerned about me. Loved the set-up of the cache.
Lovely vantage point. Well placed cache took us back to another era- thanks!
Such a gorgeous morning to head out before the heat of the day hit and we parked the car just before 8:45am. A bit of a hike to get to this one, but there were no complaints from the kids (thankfully) and the roars of delight were certainly worth the journey. Another great job, Rustys!
Out on a very hot day with the push bike. Checked on my caches on the area and placed 3 new ones. Picked this up riding back to the car. Guardian spotted first and GPS sent me to a few different spots. Tftc
Another day out caching with Pprass, we had to finish off the NHL series and picked up a few other great caches in the area, we used electric bikes for some of them and others we walked. This one brought a smile to my face. Thanks The Rustys for the cache.
Found at 10:07 AM GAFF1 in the company of Rebel Acts.
While doing the NHL series, we detoured up the Quarry track to pick up a couple of right wing caches. We could have come in from the north east and made it an easy walk, but then we would have had a tough time getting back with the bikes, Nice work on the "indicator" - wish more of the tricky caches would have this method to point to the cache
Thanks The Rustys.

Today we explored Berwick and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out looking for regular sized caches for a Ballarat challenge cache and thought I'd visit the northern end of Churchill N.P. and park in a DIFFERENT car park this time.
The phone was giving me a little trouble (perhaps it is the new case I've put it in) but the cache guardian soon put me on the right track.
I believe this is the second diorama cache by the CO that I have found. What a pleasant change from the run of the mill containers. I think this deserves a representative favourite point for all the dioramas put together by the CO and presumably her little helpers over many hours.
Onya, The Rustys!

I was up on these hills for a Geosportz mission. When I returned past the misplaced palm tree, it called to mind the foliage of earlier ages when 'thunder lizards' roamed the Earth.
I scampered down to GZ and quickly made the find. It is always a joy to find a cache of this size. But then I opened it...
WOW!!!
A big thanks to The Rustys for this creation. So clever!!
Well done.

Straightforward find - the sentinel was a little bit of a giveaway and the container was partially uncovered. A little bit of thought and creativity put into the design of the contents. Nice idea! TFTC
Out collecting some of the NHL Series last night and did the extra couple of k's to pick up[ this cache. TFTC
Our last cache for the day which was a mammoth effort for my youngest daughter. I had deliberately left this one for last because I thought my daughter would love this one and she really did. After walking across from the Jitterbug cache we located the evidence of a slight geotrail and after a short walk I spotted the hide from about 6 metres away. from there I sttod back and let my daughter discover it. She was so delighted by the cache that on the walk back to the car she continually told me how awesome it was.
As it happens My daughter is currently getting me to film videos for her to send to her cousins in NZ and as a result i was able to film her reaction and I thought you might like to see it I have tried to keep the spoilers to a minimum but if you want the video removed just let me know.

I was given the keys to the car today (quite the rarity let me tell you!) so off I headed before I was given a list of chores to do whilst I had the car! On the way to the nearest car park I saw a rabbit run across the road (hopefully not being chased by anything Jurassic) and a couple of roos just taking in the shade (brave or unaware of imminent danger?). The GPS was doing its best Kylie Minogue in hot pants impressions but as I walked in ever decreasing circles I saw the cache guardian. I approached with caution but a bit of arm waving and all was fine and I could collect the cache (worked in Jurassic World... had to work here!). Nicely crafted cache. TFTC!
I had been hanging out for the weekend to do this cache with my GeoDaughter so she could share in my 200th find. We drove as far as we could up the dirt road before continuing on foot. This should have been a relatively short walk through the bush, but of course we had to stop and take in the view on such a beautiful afternoon and admire the widlife. The guardian of the cache led the way and shortly after the cache was spotted. What an excellent cache with a great theme. After returning the cache to its original place I added a little extra camo to make sure it was well hidden. Thanks The Rusty's for making my daughters day with this cache tftc
Beautiful views at this location - beautiful spot. Cache well concealed great hide!!
CraZyfOx101 loved the container... Fav point for sure!! Left a b l u e s t o n e amongst the Jurassic carnage. TFTC

The Rusty's herself drove me out to this spot on my last night in Melbourne. Did a little kangaroo spotting then I got to bush bash to the cache myself. Missed the Guardian as I was busy ducking under tree limbs in the half dark but a glance backwards and I spotted him. Cache was in hand shortly after. It's a piece of art. I'd expect nothing less from such a talented family gene pool xx Thnx for the adventures and your hospitality!
This was a great one. After carefully tiptoeing past the guardian we found the former cacher. Things looked grim for him so we just signed the log and left him to him to his fate.
Haven't been caching for a while but had this one saved for the kids for ages. Thanks, this was a great cache. The kids loved it, especially dinoboy. It's amazing how much you feel like you're in the bush in Lysterfield and yet only 10 minutes from the busy road. Tyftc
So we drove round to another bit of this large rambling countryside place, with its lack of coffee and no police helicopters.
I drove up road after road after road - not a single carpark could I find. Eventually I found a nice man who let me park in his driveway and use his stile into the park. Knowing that was as good as it would get for me, I took him up on it. Besides, He had kangaroos in his garden. That settled it.
We hopped over into the park and walked in the right direction to the cache - see... I am fine on foot.
we stopped for lunch and admired the view. What you lack in coffee, you more than make up for in scenery.
We got to the prime dinosaur hunting position and, once again, my favourite Kiwi takes us through the bush. by which I mean THROUGH the bush. like FACE FIRST.
we find the dinosaurs by spotting a guardian.
Now - on a side note. I've been to New Zealand. What particularly struck me is they are particularly good at arranging things aesthetically. For example, the mountains on the south island are pleasingly arranged so they can provide optimum scenic view from any angle.
Like for example, I went to Wanaka - it was so utterly beautiful, that even the roads were beautiful, the bins were beautiful. some guy I asked for directions was beautiful.
And so it is that my favourite Kiwi, can arrange things, so beautifully, that I think I want to stroke the cache, just for a little while, in case some of it rubs off.
We place it back carefully in its cover and head off to find a jitterbug. I may sing wham songs.

I could simply say tftc. But I have said more than that already. Or I could say I had egg and bacon before I came out caching, but you don't really need to know that.. Or I could say that with this one cache, I have just doubled our find count for the month, but its not about the numbers so who really cares... Or I could say what an awesome cache, and I love the effort put in. But what if I also say tftc...
Found by Mary & David at 1715. We were very good and bypassed the private road, although M was tempted. Ended up with a longer walk than we'd hoped, but were delighted to see a big mob of kangaroos near where we parked. Loved the cache decoration - haven't seen one as elaborate as this for quite a while. Our thanks to The Rusty's.
One of the two geokids wanted to keep looking for roos so I figured we could hang around longer and find this one. It wouldnt normally take me much to be convinced but on looking at the number of fav points off we went. A short walk down hill and after sighting a giant kangaroo we spotted an extinct guardian and soon after the cache. Witnessed a tb I had in my hands not all that long ago and took the other. tftc
Decided to go for a look at this one. Felt a bit unsure on parking (parked closest road to cache) but seems ok, geowifr spotted the cache before the Gaurdian
Swapped tb tftf

The cache guardian showed me the way and I uncovered a wonderful cache, great work and detail. Fav point
Dropped in a couple of TBs and picked one up .
Thanks got the cache. , and good luck
