Out for a quite evening walk around the river and beach area today, shame not to attempt to pick up some caches along the way.
Nice spot, but like so many before me I couldn't find it and am pretty sure it's not there.
It hasn't been found for over a year so perhaps if maintenance is not an option it's time to archive this cache.

Up in the 'Naki with MacGyverson for a few days to catch up with friends and geocache as we go - really enjoying seeing some new ground. Stopped here just as the rain started and despite the rain gave the area good look over. Have a couple of these caches myself so knew what we were looking for.
This cache is definitely gone....

Unfortunately for our 1st geocache we couldn't find it. Will try again another day.
Very busy in the late morning but I had my little look out with me- alas we couldn't find
Been back again to find, after much hunting found the cache. Great hide - over thinking again from the team tftc
Found on a day out visiting Waitara to look for these cache which were quite a few in number..thanks you to those geo cachers that have put these caches in! I had planned to visit waitara this friday and i was incredibly lucky to have such a glorious day after yesterday's deluge all day!. I got to near GZ and thought - and yes, there was the sticky problem so it was a quick retrieve, sign and replace. Many thanks for the cache and another smiley face.
Here on vacation with SwagHo from Canada, sight seeing, geocaching and visiting beautiful New Zealand.TFTC.

Good thing geohubby reached for this one before looking at it. Love this one. Replaced full log with rite-in-rain paper. Here with HennyGeo on holidays from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada in scenic New Zealand TFTC
Another summer visit to locate the unfound caches in the area and turn them into smilies. Very few muggles despite visiting during the holidays TFTC.

GPS took me the long way home after the Mega. Finding lots of good caches along the way. TFTF
After a wander around towne collecting caches,
it was time to head for camp,
and a few more caches
The campsite here is a beaut.
Green grass,
quiet and lots of room to swing a cat [^]
A lot more caches were scattered around within walking distance too !!
So with the geomobile parked for the night,
I wandered off to find some more caches.
This cache was too easy to find ...
... 'cos I saw Richary putting it back in its hiding spot as I drove into the campsite
Didn't need the GPS,
I just walked up to GZ and stuck me paw in and ...
... oooh !! Yuk !!
Sticky !!

I am over from Australia for a couple of weeks visiting my sister in New Plymouth for a week before the mega event this weekend, and of course taking the opportunity to get some caches in the area. As I live in Waitara which is a suburb of Sydney then of course I had to come here!
Drove into the reserve for a quick easy find with very few people around on a Monday. This place certainly is different from my Waitara which is blocks of flats on what is called the north shore but is nowhere near the ocean. Thanks Milly81.

Found with a fellow GC while the kids burnt off some energy. Thanks for the cache.
Unfortunately read the activity and a previous cacher gave the game away which was disappointing. Such a great hide though well done! Log was wet so added new piece of paper.
In Taranaki for the weekend and collecting a few caches along the way with tmann421.
Lots of fun had with the variety of caches in the area. TFTC

Another good find while geocaching in the area with Just-Lookin.
We soon had the cache located - added another scrap of paper to add our names but needs a new log.

I had an inkling of what the hide might be as I have seen a couple of others before, certainly not the first thing you want to reach for! Logbook very wet however.

Quick bike ride with my sister found it quite quickly but couldn't write in the log book because it is wet and screwed up. Tftc
OMG. Definitely a unique cache. Unfortunately unable to log. New log required
Found it after a second of doubt before grabbing it. I want one of these! I'm desperate need of a new log book, sorry I didn't have one on me roday
After an afternoon quilting nearby I went for a stroll and grabbed a couple of caches. Soon spotted the sticky subject. TFTC
Yes I found it. Very sneeky little cashe. The log is fill. But then if we wete to write our name it would fill the whole thing.
TFTC! This one took the longest to find. O.O lucky I checked and found it straight away. It's quite cool. Not enough room to sign
Out on a cahing trip with all the family on our way to the meet and greet tonight

When i saw the name I had to see what this cache was about. Sneaky hide. TFTC
Found with Mum on a visit home for the weekend.
Another one of the places that she hasn't been to in a while. She remembers that down at the beach, near where the current walking path meets the road (that wasn't there then) a whale washed up - not sure exactly when, but she was married in 1965 so would have been before then.
Had an idea what the cache might be so soon had it in hand. Took back to car to show Mum, then had to wait for muggles to move on before replacing it.
Log roll almost full - maybe one space left. It is very short, and could be longer when replaced.
Thanks for the smilie.

Found today between showers. Looked quite gross, very life like. No one around, perhaps they don't like getting wet. Thanks
Quick find while out on a Saturday morning. Log looking a little full. On to back now
yes yes yes been looking forward to finding a cache like this, gem loved it, a FP from us, TFTC

Out here for a visit in town, this cache is one of the few green dots left on my map so thought we would pick it up. Suprised to find a marathon in full swing and guess where the finish is.. But with a bit of mugged watching we found cache in good order. Not seen this particular type before but soon in hand. This one is a wrap. Mission accomplished TFTC! Blenheim Bear

Took us a lil bit to find but got there in the end. It was our first geo venture!!
Quick easy find. There was no log inside have placed a small one to keep it going but will need new log tftc
Both of us had seen this and disregarded it as rubbish so we were quite surprised when it turned out to be the cache. Signed and returned. TFTC
I must admit I wasn't too sure what to expect when I came out hunting for this one. The coordinates were spot on though, and a quick check soon showed a nicely camouflaged hiding place. I think this is the first time I have actually seen this camo in use. I brought along a spare log sheet in case, but it wasn't needed, as there are still a couple of bland spots left. Thanks for the cache, very nicely done.
3 January 2016 17:40. Last find of the day. I remember a similar hide in Wellington which was archived when the tree was severely pruned, not a problem here. TFTC
