This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.

If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

Great park in a surprising area! Could not really linger to search properly on the edge of a playground...but you could hide a dozen caches here, it’s so big!

Thanks for bringing me here!

So sorry to all COs for my tardiness in logging my finds, it has been a very hectic time, therefore I will be pasting this message on all 37 outstanding logs. The majority of finds were with Deep_99 unless he is the CO or I was out of town. I basically did a CITO on this site until I finally found the cache, made 60 cents in recycling Smile TFTC SL #3834 on streak day #2333

No dice tonight. A couple cavorting in the bushes close by limited my searching as my flashlight disturbed them Next time. L’chaim!

Waited longer for a muggle dad and his muggle toddler to leave than I did searching for the cache. Not exactly what was described in previous logs which is a shame. A find at any rate so TFTC!

On the way to Silverwater Park and the NT Mega meet up with Mrs A.
Great little park and only two grand parents and kids playing in the park. We both searched about a bit and became disheartened, just about resorted to a PAF when Mrs A did the spotting. Nice work. Did the signing and rehid the cache. TFTC Frogstarius.

Found finally in the early AM hrs after attending a Screaming Jets concert... we were almost screaming as we spent way too long here and of course we found it in a spot we'd looked in!! log is wet. By now we were freezing.. what funny houses all in a row! I can see why this would be hard at in the day when busy

Our third for the night and our patience was wearing thin... The radio kept repeating the same 5 songs for some bizarre reason and this cache was taking too long to find. Finally after searching everywhere twice and starting to slowly freeze to death, a hint in the logs helped us choose a spot to focus on one last time. Thankfully we found it before our patience ran out! TFTC

As I pulled up in the car and quite a few muggles on the play equipment I considered giving it a miss. But cacher inside me got the better of me and off I headed.
A quick search and soon I had CIH and was able to stay hidden while I sat down and signed the log. Unfortunately it was very damp and getting the pages apart was difficult. But I found a spot and replaced as found. Could do with a plastic clip lock bag.
Nice park. TFTC.

Well finally. The couple of times I have been past here previously the playground has been full of kids - of course. Today it was a drizzly school day so I suggested to geoboyfriend (who works nearby) that perhaps we should go try in his lunch break, and I'd bring him lunch as a "reward"! So I picked him up and we headed to GZ - to find it deserted, finally! Took us a minute or two and eventually we had the nice sized cache in hand. There is a bit of moisture inside the container, I tipped out what I could but couldn't hang around to dry it out entirely.

Interesting, I was here on Sunday morning too and I didn't see anyone either, just the bees.
I found the hidden pot, well out of sight but not too hard to find.

I've never been in this area before. What was here before they built all those townhouses? Surely it wasn't vacant land so close to the city? Nice outlook over the park which has permanent table tennis tables set up. Never seen that before.

This cache is only 1.6km from home and I've avoided finding this cause I knew it would be right ,smack bang in the middle of the kids playground. Luckily, there was no one about today, so I took a wander around. Nice camo, nice park. Thanks.

#3369- After a very slow caching year indeed, the second slowest since I started six years ago, I decided I had to find one today. It wasn't going to be easy- it proved that.
Firstly, I was on my way to the cemetery at Rookwood from the mountains, with little time to spare and needed a quick one. I don't have many quick and easy ones anywhere along this route.
I decided to try one at Fairfield- no, despite knowing I was on the right track, and using a paf, I had no luck.
Secondly, I Had my muggle brother with me, who doesn't really understand caching madness- I stopped at Dishlicker#3, but really didn't give it a look- too many holes it could be in and a nosey maintenance man to boot.
So I decided this was may only chance. I arrived with yet another gardener nearby (don't they have a picnic day like posties? ) and a guy taking his disabled dad for a look at the plants in the park- Groan....
They moved and I quickly rattled through trying to find this 'larger than expected container'. I was just about to leave thinking that this was a bit like my caching year, when I spotted it. #518 for this year.
Thanks- at least I got my NYE souvenir early in the day, before the rest of the madness which is the night, starts.

We were surprised by cache size, was expecting something smaller. The bush bit geodad who ended up with itchy bumps up his arms. This was a nice park though & we decided to make use of the bbqs nearby to cook our snags. Park was quiet when we arrived, but definitely got a lot busier whilst we enjoyed our lunch. Thanks for the well camo'd cache xo

Mmm the smell of freshly cut grass - nice! Walked over to the GZ and narrowed down my options. Had a good idea where the hide would be but the guy cutting the lawn was still doing his laps so I had to time my ducking into the bushes with his mowing away from me. Finally grabbed it but now the mower guy had come even closer so I completed signing duties (the log is damp BTW) and had to wait until he had moved on to the next section before I could safely rehide. Thanks Frogstarius.

Headed to Sydney today for a meeting and with time to spare either side of the meeting I was able to grab a few caches.
This site used to belong to my employer. Interesting to see what they've done with it, I remember it as a great training venue.
Thanks

Nice soft plants closer to posted co-ords but no, the pot had to be hydden in the spiky plants. Sigh… still, a find is another smilie.

#2292 (1 of 3 today)

Decided to head south today, for a few caches. Started worryingly, but got better as I started to rack up a few find.
END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION
Arrived at GZ to find a deserted park - advantage of arriving when the kids are in school. But then the car in front of me disgorged two uni aged muggles, who followed me into the park.

Fortunately they were more interested in eachother, and settles just out of sight of the search area.
Took longer than it should before I spotted the obvious.

Completed signing duties and then replaced. Time to head off further afield. The muggles still haven't shifted!

15/08/15. 12:48 PM. Cache #2831. Streak day #419.
1st of 5 caches today.
I started here at this one as it is the last of the caches published around Sydney last week that I still hadn't found. I had never heard of this suburb before, and as I drove through, everything looked quite new so I wondered if the suburb was new too.

Getting to GZ, there were a few muggles in the playground, but the hide was far enough away that I was comfortable getting in and doing a bit of a search. It didn't take too long to make the find. I took it away, signed the log, dropped in a TB, and then replaced it.

I then spent the next few hours caching around Padstow, starting with "wotsdaP?". TFTC.

I read the posting and headed over. As I neared GZ I thought 'not another playground'. At 3.28pm the rug rats must still have been on the way home from school or were inside finishing their afterschool glass of milk and milk arrowroots. With no muggles around I mad a quick find or FTF actually. Six years ago I used to regularly pick up and drop off a school bus very near to this site as I taught a little to the SW of here. This was then fenced water board land. TFTC.

I raced here after work as it is relatively close to my workplace but alas I was too late. There's no glory in STF. It does make it much more exciting trying to get there first though. TFTC Frogstarius.

Must be no parking inside these buildings as the streets are full at 6am, and parking on both sides of the road only allows a single vehicle in traffic.
With torch in hand, I set out to find Frogstarious new hide, and with no junior muggles on the play equipment, this meant for an unhindered search.
Didn't take long for the torch to reveal the hide, thanks Frogstarious
