The new walkway will be great. In the meantime we enjoyed this new to us area. My insect phobic companion wasnt keen to venture closer until I reassured her that I couldnt see any real ones. Very cute. Fav point given for cache and for bringing us to this location.

#854 It doesn't look like they'll be paving this part anytime soon, but it was easily accessible nonetheless. Cache was safe and sound in its little nook.

Rather squelchy & wet getting to GZ so tip toed slowly. Great camo at this one & nice quick find. TFTC 
Picking up a few stray caches in our area, this was our first stop! Looking forward to the day the whau walkway actually happens!! TFTC!!
It was challenging and the clue wasn’t clear enough but it was good team building thanks for the effort geocachers!!!
Nice easy find to finish of a 3/4 caeche day. Wish it had been as sunny as the photo. Great to experience some more parks in Tamaki Makaurau
Such a cute cache! This one was far enough out of the way that even with my strange circling of the park, there were no muggles to spot my eventual find. TFTC
Today I wanted to locate and sign off a multi cache for a challenge that is about to be placed in Christchurch. But there are bound to be other caches that are nearby so I might as well locate and sign those off as well.

I was in the area today for the community event and I decided to grab this cache before arriving.
When I got to GZ I thought there might be a search on my hands until I spotted something unusual almost immediately. The log is all in good condition. Thanks for the cache #1357

Found this one as well while attending the Community Celebration event. It was nice and easy and a relief after the previous one to actually find a cache that was there. All good here as well. Thank you!
After attending the nearby "Countdown to Tuesday: Community Celebration Event" headed here with TheCoblets who spotted something from a distance which turned out to be what we were after. TFTC
With the event going at full swing, lumin, Merlot and I disappeared for a few minute to find this one. Cool different type of container. TFTC

Spotted this from the path because it had a neon green water pistol sticking out of it. Was a bit confused about the shape and meaning behind the box but the cache container(s) was inside with a log, so I signed and replaced all as found. Thanks for the conspicuous cache!

I am out and about for a spot of geocaching this afternoon, while it is windy but not rainy. I parked up in the car park and made the short walk over to ground zero. I tried a couple of spots before I got the right one. Something of an unusual container here. Cheers for the cache placement!

Walk along the track and look towards the trees. This is great for hunting with the kids
Walked past this one a couple of times before the keen eyes of kiwitrecker1 spotted something bright. The cache was in hand shortly afterwards. Thanks for bringing us to this location, might do one or two more caches while we are here!

Previous finder mentioned the log was full, so went to the park and have replaced with a new log

Our 4th find today. Very unique container be careful when treading in this weather as it was a bit slippery on the walk there thanks for the find!
Cool find. Parked in the parking lot and we saw a cool tree with some steps leading up and out over the water. Fell on a thorny bush on the way to investigate it and had a good laugh with my sister. The actual cache was just a bit further down and took around 5 minutes to find. Thanks for the cache, and the discovery of this fun new area.
