Proud of my mathematical skills. I was initially very worried that I had already taken this path and was headed back towards a previous cache. But all in all found this one! Trying to be more courageous and trying to find more multi and mystery caches! Found on the 19/9/24 with RhiRhi

Finished work at 6 a.m. and had two hours to burn before attending the For the Tardy Mouse! Event. The Banks Street Reserve is located around the corner, so what better way to kill time than a leisurely walk through a nature reserve, with the added bonus of a cache or two to find. TFTmultiC. SL. Today I took a walk around Bank Street Reserve and found 5/6 Bush Turkey caches. I saw 0 turkeys today, which is pretty unusual because I almost always see turkeys when Im out caching. Not sure where they have all gone today? This was my second Bush Turkey cache I came across, having done the calculations before I set off on my walk. There were a few possibilities at the GZ but the cache was quickly found. It was pretty humid in the bush today and the swimming pool question was just a tease. Thanks for this great series of caches BastiansQuest!

We picked this little series of cached, as we had never before been to this Reserve. We loved the many tracks crossing each other, if wanted or suitable. We found this cache and signed the log. If we can do a Multi in one go from start to finish, it's always worth a fav point. Here it is TFT series, BastiansQuest

I was confused not completely unusual, but not normally with algebraFinding the required numbers was quick and painless, it then took some thinking to work out that the repeated variables x & y were actually two different numbers, hence my confusionArriving at my calculated GZ I sent out a PAF to confirm my dubious algebra and soon after had the cache in hand Swimming pools mmmThanks BastiansQuest

An event in the area brought us to the event so it was off to find some smiles. The thought to doing a multi gave us incentative to stop and cache this woodland area. Plenty of ups and downs gave us some exercise and some smiles too.

Calculations done before taking off from the top.

Bit of a wild Goose chase here but eventually found it.

Caching today with RoddyC (Mrs), Imbunda and Schazza66.

Attended an Event with geo friends in the area not too far away so thought we try and get these caches before the weather gets to hot.
I think we must have parked in the best place as we saw a few puffing walkers and their 4 legged friends.
We were able to gather the information needed for this one very early and do our calculations before we headed off too far.
A few very steep sections for me as I haven't fully trained my new knee on hills. Most of the caches were easily found. Log signed and cache replaced as found and a bonus workout. TFTC

18-Mar-22
This afternoon after work, I suggested to [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) that we should take a walk in Banks Street Reserve, which wasn't too far from home. We only had a short duration before it was to get dark, so we focused on a small circuit around the western side of the reserve. Like most suburban reserves, we enjoyed the bushland's tracks, and looking forward in returning here to explore further.

We parked close to this multi-cache's posted coordinates, and hence collected the numbers to understand where this cache was hidden. We then used this cache as an objective to walk in that direction.

We soon arrived at GZ, and after a short search, the cache was found. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks BastiansQuest for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Unfortunately, I forgot to answer the question of the *Bush Turkey Bash* mystery cache, so it looks like I will need to return here once again.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Had a bit of time on a Saturday afternoon and spotted a group of caches in the Banks Street Reserve that I hadn't found, so off to find one today. I thought I would try the multi, as one calculation is probably something I was capable of. Parked at the published coordinates and headed over to the small sign and the the substitutions for x, y and z immediately made sense. Calculated the final destination and i was off. A nice walk in a great bushland setting. Didn't take long to get to GZ, but initially had trouble finding the cache. Checked the hint and after a little while i spotted something. The log sheet is fresh and was quickly signed and returned. Thanks very much BastiansQuest for a well constructed multi, in a great setting. Thanks for bringing me here and thanks for the cache.

Checked on this one. Getting a little ratty, but still serviceable. Log book (paper) full, so placed in a new one, ready for someone to sign it. Happy holidays.

Unfortunately, we couldn’t find this one after about an hour of searching. We’re pretty sure we’re in the right area, judging by the amount of pools nearby, but could not find the location according to the hint. We’ll have to come back to this one so that we can finish off the series. Awesome series anyways, we’ll be back!

11-Nov-20
Dropped in after work for a stroll. I didn’t even know this place existed. No koalas were spotted today, however as I just collected the multi I’ll be back over time to collect the other and hopefully see some then. Some lovely Bougainvillea flowers were out today, not to mention a few other people walking the tracks.

07-Oct-20
Work is getting in the way of my caching again, but with my challenges of a trad a day and a cache a day are closing in, I have only 30 plus days to go, I still have a few up my sleeve to see this through. Today I left work and headed back out to the banks street reserve. I was here yesterday; today I was here a little earlier to finish of the area.

I walked in and followed the tracks to find the last traditional cache of the area, a very easy and quick find. I then moved on to collect the multi that I solved some time ago, it too was an easy find.

Thanks for the cache placements; all good with these caches and with the log signed I replaced the cache as found.

Things aren’t looking great for me work wise at the moment as I lost more work due to what’s going on in the world, but thankfully that gives me more time for caching, so after (not working) I decided to grab a few caches in the area.

Parked up and hit the trails to grab this series, however while wandering the trails I didn’t see one Bush Turkey at all, but I did encounter a very large huntsman that didn’t want to give up the first cache I found, we had a little battle, but victory was mine and he hurried back to his hiding place for his next victim.

Really enjoyed my time out here, the weather is great and the suns in hiding making the day seem a little cooler.

Thank you for the series.

I had targeted these series for my afternoon walk with geopup, and had a great time exploring this reserve.

I made my way to the posted co-ords to gather the required information, and soon was making my way to claim the final. I quickly spotted the cache in it's cheeky home.

All is well with the cache. Log signed and replaced as found.

Thanks BastiansQuest for the cache and series.

On the Northside of Brissy for another successful skin checkup and decided it was time to mop up this series in Banks Street Reserve. I was not disappointed as the caches were fun and well laid out, and it’s a lovely location. A couple of mini hills but my legs soon warmed up. You could ride this route quickly however it was a nice quiet stroll

Lots of interpretative signs in this bush reserve. Enjoyed reading them.

This was a neat multi Searched for a minute and wondered if I’d screwed this up, then spotted the wee beastie nicely tucked away. Where’s my prize? A piping hot mug of hot ️ would be a treat Dropping a FAVE point here.

12-Oct-19
The 7 caches in this piece of bushland provided some leisurely exercise this afternoon after this mornings rain. It seems like every other dog walking muggle had the same idea as well.

Quickly found again - coords were spot on, though it did seem like the distance to the next traditional was under 160 metres. My phone was doing some wild things today. I wondered whether there were any other pools hidden by trees. Recorded my answer and heading to the next one, hoping the checksum for the final puzzle would assist with any discrepancies.

Thanks for the cache and the series BastainsQuest

#4446:
I'm sorry, but I have to point out that the calculations are not mathematically correct. You've given both X and Y two values. Having done many many multis, I could understand what you meant... But for newbies, this might be very confusing.

It took me a while to find at GZ without a hint. A previous log mentioned it was hung by a hook, so this helped me narrow it down. A typical British cache hide in the woods! Haven't seen many hooks and nails in Australia.

As for the pool question... Honestly I'm unsure how many there are due to trees covering the view. But I'll take a wild guess as it. TFTC.

I thought I must’ve made a mistake when I calculated the coords as they were too close to another cache. But after triple checking them and then confirming them with a previous finder, I accepted that they must be right. Quick find at GZ. Not sure about the swimming pools though. Time will tell with that one. Thanks for the cache

On the hunt today on my quest to find enough caches to qualify for the latest Mystery at The Museum souvenirs. Having fallen short of my target yesterday, I headed out early to finish off the balance.

I decided to access the park from the entry point at cache #4 in the series. Having collected the answers I continued the walk in to a couple of other caches along the way before heading back to collect this one. No problems making the find, and I signed my name into the logbook. TFTC

On a mission today to do the Turkey Bash.
Many years ago there was a high school just down the road from here that bedmaker attended. This area of bush was an area where we use to come before school to run a muck.
It certainly didn't have all the well defined tracks that are here today.
We gathered the information required for numbers to GZ and eventually made our way to it.
Once there we easily found the cache and all was good with it

1MinnieMoo and I were in the area and we decided to grab me this one.

Scratches, Kestal and I have been working towards a caching trip to Brisbane for quite some time. Leaving Toowoomba at 6am, Kestal came armed with her newly acquired A3 clipboard complete with spreadsheets and Scratches had colour print outs of the map of the target area! And I...I just drove where I was told to!!

A small detour for a rainy day walk into this reserve to pick up an earthcache for the souvenir and conveniently added this multi to our total. Thankfully the hide was spotted quickly

Taking a slight detour from our main goal today we came into this reserve to pick up a multi and an earth, we ended up with a bonus traditional on our way out. This was find number 8 for Eskies5, Scratches and myself today and thankfully the rain was timing itself well and we managed to stay dry here. After a short walk to this one we started searching, Eskies5 spotted this one on her first pass after I missed. TFTC BastiansQuest,

Our walk through the reserve had been really good. Surprisingly the dusty wind made it really nice and cool and not a bead of sweat was harmed in the finding of these caches.

We knew there was a hill somewhere and it greeted us right before we reached the posted coordinates. I think Mrs Woodyrothwell must have breathed in a lungful of dust because she left it to me to climb the stairs to gather the information. At least if she is genuinely sick I won’t have to play the headache card at bed time.

These days I recheck multi calculations more closely than your grandmother counts 5 cent pieces in her purse. A couple of looks and I was happy and we made our way to GZ.

I found the cache on the ground otherwise it could have been tricky to find. I hung it back using the hook. We decided we were close enough to the car to head back for some water to keep powering on. tftc

Worked out the coords a little while ago, but finally had a chance to pick it up. Took one path, looked and looked although had no luck. Took another path, looked and looked, but still no luck!! Was going to log this as a DNF, although as we were leaving, husband said "look over there". He'd found the tree (which was only metres away from where we were initially looking)!!!!
Such a fun adventure... although should have taken the insect repellant.

Anzac Day stroll around the bush, quickly found and relieved, as always, that I hadn’t made a silly mistake with the coordinates. Mobile phones aren’t very good for jotting stuff down, doing calculations and then getting new coordinates. Give me paper, pencil, and my old Garmin any time! Guaranteed not to come up with disconcerting ads half way through the brain job. Hey ho, so much for the old times!
TFTC, now to sit in a corner and work out the coords for the puzzle cache. Have I got them right? We’ll see.
