On the bustling Boxing Day, while duty bound by the cricket match, I managed to sneak in a geocaching spree during the afternoon before work. Discovering hidden caches across familiar and new locations injected a thrilling edge to the day, adding an adventurous spirit to an otherwise scheduled cricket-focused day. Each find was a fleeting victory, infusing the routine with the excitement of exploration, proving that even within the confines of responsibilities, moments of geocaching joy could be seized.Despite the time constraints, the pre-work geocaching escapade on this Boxing Day showcased the delight found in these brief expeditions. Uncovering caches in those fleeting moments provided a glimpse of the adventure waiting just beyond the confines of routine responsibilities, promising many more such exhilarating experiences balancing work and the thrill of geocaching in the future.Solved this cache many moons ago, but hadnt yet stopped by to make the find. Well truth be told, Ive been around here many times, but simply couldnt be bothered making the walk in. Was initially searching the wrong grass trees, before I spotted the container quite literally staring at me in the distance from another grass tree. Add fav for the cute container. Cant really remember the puzzle too much if Im honest, given I solved this back in 2019 according to my notes. Thanks LAXA for placing and maintaining this hide for me to find today. This log was written with ChatGPT.
After working this one one out on a night shift. We decided to head out grab some caches on this beautiful day for cacheing. We stopped to vote before heading to this one. We parked near the roundabout and enjoyed the nice walk to gz and started our search. We searched for a few minutes before Leega spotted the prize. We added our names to your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. I had a bit of a chuckle at this one I really enjoyed it. Favourite point coming up when I get a fresh batch delivered. Its always nice to do a welfare check on one that hasnt been found for awhile and happy to say this one is doing just fine. TFTC LAXA
We werent ftf, but we are ftf this year! And this little piggy is doing very well here. Found with axell33 on an outing to vote then cache. At gz we searched for a short time until it revealed itself..Im sure he poked out of his hiding spot for us to see him. Love the creativity here and getting a favourite from me for this and the story. Thanks for this cache LAXA.
I solved this one many months ago and finally had some free time to hunt. Daddy pig was easier to see than to reach but I managed it. Very nicely crafted container! Thanks for another fun mystery LAXA.
Find 21 of 32 firstly on a nice walk around the Treeby/Banjup bushland and then on a bike ride around Southern River, starting in on a huge pile of solved puzzles but barely making a dent. Our entertainment today was mainly provided by fratra, LAXA, Dark Energy and Potatonator. Thanks to all the COs for placing and maintaining these caches.
Mrs O got stuck in here and made the find, then struggled to get back out again!

Headed SOR today to claim a few smileys . This one took a few minutes to spot. Tftc
Accompanied with iluvtrekking for the day, long walk but enjoyed myself - poor Mr ILT hurt his ankles at Peppa Pig, signed the log as EV + ILT. Thanks for the cache and hunt.
Thanks for the nice easy puzzle here. We enjoyed with walk with Everlasting and signed the log EVILT. Thanks LAXA.
Out with Kapelula and we decided to finish our day finding our three solved pig caches much to the kids delight. Swaps were made and great admiration for the cache containers. Thanks for ending our day on a high.
The GeoKids are loving these piggy caches. Exchanged some SWAG, signed log and replaced as found. TFTH and puzzle!

I parked as close as I could and enjoyed a nice walk across the park to the location. Cache was a nice big container thats so nice to see in the age of nanos.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
We had our wee Heather Bear for the day so headed out for a look for one or two caches. Patch enjoyed solving the puzzle some months ago so it was a good opportunity to pop over with HB for a look. It wasn't long before Patch made the exclamation that we were looking for and HB was soon looking inside for Treasures. We will pop back over in the next week or so to make a replacement as we came very short in the goodies department this arvo. Love your work here LAXA and a well-deserved FP is on its way.
Loved this mystery cache thank you Laxa. Solved a while ago and in the area today but DNF. Having a run of DNF on mystery caches.
Daddy is still sitting in its hidy hole. A bit harder to spot with all the branches in front. Check under/in the grass tree. He's bright pink and a sizable container.
Note couple trees pruned back well, if that causes an issue? Otherwise had a look around under long grass but no luck.
After stuck indoors during a wet morning, was motivated by afternoon sunshine to get outdoors and find some caches.

Even though this cache is one of the closest unfound caches on my map, I have never attempted to find it until today...
I was in the area today, and with some free time up my sleeve, I decided that I would have an attempt at finding this cache. This one had us searching for a few minutes before we finally spotted him peeking out of his hide-hole.
LAXA, I found your cache ‘Daddy Pig’ today. It was the third find of three today and my total count now lies at 1012. The cache was found in a good condition, so I added my name to the log book and I replaced it as I found it. Thank you for the cache, the hide and for bringing me to this location.

After the recent DNF l had a quick check on Daddy Pig.
The way to Daddy Pig got an upgrade and he is still in his little hidy-hole waiting to be found.

Had solved 3 of the 4 in this series and been holding out until I had sorted Mummy, but decided today to make a grab for those that I could, but things did not go to plan...
No go here. The path looks like it has been upgraded and is different to the sat pic. Couldn't find this one and I hope it survived the works. Will keep an eye out.

This puzzle took the longest for me to solve. Thankful to be back on a decent track, I was thrilled to log this final find. This type of adventure really appeals to some people; not so much to me. It's safe to assume I won't be back to explore this area any further in the near future. Thanks for the hide.
I made the most of the pleasant weather today to get out and about to find a few caches around Perth while on a holiday from SA. Solved this one prior to leaving Adelaide.
Daddy Pig took a little bit of searching, but I eventually located him peering out of his little hidey hole.
Thanks LAXA for the puzzle and the cache.

Solved this one immediately when I first saw it, but this is the first time I have been in the area since After a rather adventurous find at the last cache, I had my fingers crossed that there would be no surprises here... It took a bit more searching that it should have, but after a couple of minutes the prize was discovered
TFTC & the nice puzzle LAXA Cache was in good condition.

I got the solution to this one pretty quickly and enjoyed the walk to GZ
I had a look through one of the filters on my geocaching app and saw that I had quite a few solved puzzles ready for collection . I made it my mission to clear as many of them as I could before sitting down to solve too many more . I had fun hopping from place to place grabbing these smilies and loved the effort in creating the puzzles [^].
LAXA - jinta29 found your cache Daddy Pig . This is my find #6252 and find #4 today. The cache is in good shape and I replaced it where I found it. Once again cheers for the puzzle and the hide LAXA!

Happy New Year!! And what better way to start the new year off than with a day out caching. Teamed up with Mr Jackylegs to come and find the newer ones around the Mundijong/Byford/Armadale area.We ventured a bit further north to grab these few too. Thanks for the puzzle and the smiley LAXA
TFTC! Another Thursday afternoon caching run with Cravo10. We've slowed down on the Ji bet of bush caches were getting due to the warmer weather and the serpents coming out of their winter hidey holes.
Today we focused our attention on the south eastern suburbs of Perth starting with the tour de Tonkin series in Armadale before heading down Wharton road to grab a few park and grabs through the southern river and canning vale areas including some of the laxa pepper pig series of puzzles which I made a meal of inputting the wrong cache co ordinates into the Cachly app before heading out so I really struggled finding a t4 tree climbing cache which was meant to be a small micro!! Alas we DNF at both caches at the same location!!
One of the highlights of the day was the teamaustralia cache tubular trouble PB problem, which had a great camo and a great concept behind it, special thanks to team laxa for keeping it going after the owners left the game.
We then ventured through parkwood and bull creek collecting more park and grabs before heading into duck territory to cleanup some of his latest creations, including his 100th hide dead end at the site of the old pumps01 cache which sadly had to be archived (was some of my fondest early moments of caching).
We then completed the prospecting fun puzzle and evil intent caches at piney lakes which were both great although we had trouble locating the nuggets, we only managed to find two but the numbers were rusted off so we did the old try every combination trick whilst trying to desperately locate more nuggets and whilst walking back and forth to evil intent cache which was another good duck cache and different too.
Thanks to the local COs for a greats days caching.

Visiting the grandkids in Australia I thought I give this Geochaching another shoot. The little A and X of team LAXA showed great passion with explaining it to me.
Thanks so much for placing all this wonderful caches.

Solved it after a hint and today was the day to come find it. GPS wouldn't settle but I laughed once I found the container. Now that's different!!!
Had solved the tricky little pigs a while ago and today we decided to grab them before heading to a nearby event. A nice straightforward walk into find this awesome cache. Loved it and is worthy of a fave.
TFTC LAXA this is find 1337 for us

Managed to solve this puzzle last night with the help of a tool, given less than perfect close vision. Went out today with the geopooch and made a quick find of Daddy Pig given his less than camoed colour. Extraordinarily cute. Thanks laxa, all is well with Daddy Pig. Why not a fave!
This was a very easy series to solve considering the CO. Arrived at gz and contemplated the area before us. Was certainly glad it was a very chilly morning because neither of us would venture there on a warm day. Poked and prodded, delved a bit further then made the find of a very novel container. Thanks LAXA.
After what seemed like a million years of walking hahaha finally found the cache! love the container! TFTC
Headed out with the geodaughter Redlipsandunicorns to pick up a few caches.
The geohubby had solved the pig puzzle a while ago so we decided we would grab them today. After not finding a track to George we continued on to this one. It didnt take long to find the novel container here. TFTC LAXA

Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
The Intrepid Crew of Good People solved the Piggy Puzzles in anticipation of Granet's Anniversary Event today. We met up at Mummy Pig & despite our failure there soldiered on. A Happy band consisting of M4YB, Megawat60, WebblyWA, Mrs Clan-Wallace & 3 geodogs....Bobbles, Zotti & Mac the Wonder Dog. Another good puzzle & cache here & another favourite point. TFTC
Walking through this bit of bushland with Clan Wallace, megawat60, WebblyWA and the geodogs. Here WebblyWA made the find, I did the retrieval and SL job. This pig was my favourite of the day, because of the extra detail, so a fave for him! TFTC LAXA!
Met up with Clan-Wallace and WebblyWA in conjunction with m4yb for a walk around this series before the event nearby.
I was way out in front as we left the last little piggy, however WebblyWA made the find here.
Thanks for the cool containers and the series and now a smily.

MegaWat 60 was in the lead here, as the rest of the team had slowed considerably in the sand and Mac was just keeping us company. Helped by the checkers hint I headed in only to spot Daddy pig straight away! I left him in his hidey hole for the others to spot in all his glory. another great cache and Puzzle here. TFTC Laxa a fav point from me (would give them all a fav point if I had enough, as its an awesome series.)
I was in the area for work today and saw this corrected co-ords icon come up on the nuvi so decided to pull over and take the 250 odd meter stroll to GZ. Didn't take long to uncover the very colourful container jam packed with goodies.
Needed a nudge in the right direction to get this puzzle solved. Just have one more from the series to get now, need to knuckle down and figure out Mummy Pig for the clean sweep.
LAXA I found your cache at 12:11pm, this was the 1st of 5 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2757. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

(Chwiliwr team catch up log)We had no trouble solving this puzzle when it was first published and finally put GZ into the GPS so we could find it. We had intended to do another one nearby but obviously had the wrong coordinates as nothing looked right so this one was the only one done today.Found the cache without problems. Log signed and cache returned as found. Thanks LAXA for the cache.

Was out with SpatialRiq for the day grabbing a stack of caches and leaving smilies on the map as we went.
After finding Peppa we went back to the car to get it closer to this side of the area. Once parked up had a quick walk over to GZ and SR made the quick find.
TFTC and puzzle LAXA.
Cheers

After doing the Mt Cooke series McFonz and I decided to focus on numerous puzzle caches we'd solved in the months and years gone by (I'm not down this way too often).
Looked at all 4 of these puzzles just recently, 2 I was able to solve immediately, the others .. still no idea.
Easier to access this one and a quick find once at GZ. TFTC.

Yay! Thrilled to find our first mystery cache on a glorious spring day. Slightly less thrilled to see an adult snake slither past me as I wrote this log. Future cachers be careful. We were going to try for George also today but may leave it for another time. Thanks for such a super cache. Daddy Pig is incredibly cute!
Finally logging this series now that I've finally completed it! Sorry it's taken so long!
This has been my first real crack at solving and finding a mystery cache series. Most of the puzzles were fairly straightforward once I looked a bit deeper into them, and only needed one prompt from CO to point me in the right direction with Daddy Pig. I'd figured out the nature of the puzzle but didn't quite have enough information to solve it... well, to be honest I was CERTAIN I did, but the checker refused to give me the green light and I decided to get in touch with LAXA to tell me it was, in fact, I who was wrong and not the checker! However they pointed me in the direction of a helpful tool which (now that I know about it!) I hope will be invaluable to solving future puzzles. [:-)]
After going to the movies with my half-geo/half-muggle boyfriend, I dragged him all the way out here tonight to help me hunt the piggies down. He doesn't really get my obsession but fortunately he's happy to come along for an adventure because I really needed his help tonight! Daddy Pig was a fairly easy find but every cache just seems that much harder in the darkness!
It was about midnight when we finally made our way home with one DNF, which I have since rectified today (Nov 3).
Thanks LAXA for the cache, the series and for getting our brains and our bodies working!

Solved all the little Piggy puzzles on the day they were listed and was able to get back to the area today to seek them out. Sadly only managed to sign logs on two of the four.
Bush bashed my way out from George and onto a very sandy track to make my way to his Daddy. He was found very quickly, thanks to the sun shining on a tiny glint of pink. Took the TB to move on further.
Thanks for the fun Piggy puzzles and caches, LAXA.

Woohoo!! FTF at 8:04am!
This was the second puzzle I solved, and I did have some trouble deciphering the coords, mostly 1 of the numbers so this caused extra attempts on the checker.
I came here directly from George Pig, and had one severe patch of bush to negotiate before I made it to the sandy path. I noted the hint from the checker, but this only slightly narrowed down the search when I arrived at GZ. I searched for quite a while here and the GPS was bouncing around before making the find.
I dropped off the Hearse068's TB here.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache LAXA!
