No joy with this one today. As a 1.5, should be easy to find. Please prove me wrong and someone find it!
Drove past a few times before we found the place to park, great hiding spot ‘cause we never found it, didn’t understand clue “GZ”, maybe another time haha!
So camping at Awonga Dam for a few days means I can get into Gladstone and do a little caching and some shopping. There are a few particular caches in town that I saw and some fun looking hides.
While driving around town I am impressed on how Gladstone has “cleaned “itself up. Being here some years back, I thought I would never come here again, but I am very impressed with the town and the friendly people here. The new areas and the attractions around town, very nice, thank you.
Seems Gladstone has a lot of “older” caches so I was glad to be in town cleaning up what I could.
All good with this cache, I signed the log and replaced the cache as found. Then I was on my way to the next. Thanks for placing this one here.

Great Northern escape 2022 Day 123. Raglan to Gladstone. After a night serenaded by trucks and trains, I had a slow start to the morning. The first item on the agenda was the three caches around Raglan I had left for today, and then it was off to Gladstone via Mount Larcom for an amazing sausage roll. After setting up at the show grounds, I was off for some caching, starting with the LABs at the botanic gardens. A fun afternoon around town.
I missed the stoping spot for this on the way into town this morning, so had to come back and make the long loop to turn around. Once all that was done, it was a simple roadside find I could have done first time past.
Thanks for the cache Bundyrumandcoke

Be careful if looking for this cache. I spotted a snake hiding right where the cache is. Needless to say, this log can wait to be signed another day.
Just a couple more finds before leaving Gladstone. It was a great break to rest and go exploring. Thank you for all the wonderful geocaches!
Logging old caches originally found with alphag_25. Now have my own account and logging them separately so that i can claim the finds or not as the case may be. TFTC.
Grey nomads travelling around Australia in our caravan. 2020 done and dusted, 2021 here we come
We have been farm sitting near Rockhampton, so hoping to clear out Rockhampton, Yeppoon, Gracemere, Gladstone and Mt Morgan! Now moving around again. Today, spending time between Rockhamton and Gladstone.
Quick find - interesting landscape. Thanks BR&C

Off for a long weekend adventure in Gladstone Region, along with Crew 153, 1MinnieMoo and Fangsoki. Mostly targeting older caches, and whatever else popped up on our radar. After an aquatic adventure earlier today we regrouped back on the mainland, and after a great Irish pub meal we headed out for a short night run. No worries at all here.
Thanks Bundyrumandcoke for entertaining me at this location.

1MinnieMoo, Crew 153, Pprime, and I were in town grabbing a few caches. We decided to grab this one.
We found this one at night heading back to our accommodation. It took a bit of time to spot but we soon got the prize. TFTC Bundyrumandcoke

3/10/20 Find #4176
Fangsoki, Pprime, Crew153 and I had had quite the eventful day here in Gladstone, and decided to treat ourselves to a nice meal at local establishment “Dicey’s” as recommended to us by a new local acquaintance. The meal was good, made all the tastier after such a crazy day, and feeling rather comfortable now, we decided to grab just a couple more caches to make up for the day’s itinerary delays.
Arriving here we figured we knew where to look, but it still took some time to discover it. Once discovered, it also took a bit of effort to extract, but Pprime got it in the end.
Thanks for the cache Bundyrumandcoke.

A long weekend caching trip to Gladstone had been planned with 1MinnieMoo, Pprime and Fangsoki and a list of target caches had been prepared.
Another find in the dark. It took a few searches before the cache was uncovered.

Gladstone Day 2
Just a couple of caches on our list today, spent some time looking around, lots of new changes down near the wharfs. Kids must love that water park.
Read the description so we continued passed the cache, found a good place to park well off the road. Cache quickly spotted.

Looking for caches is such a pleasure in Gladstone and this is one I found today. Finding it was easier than putting it back waiting for a break in the passing traffic. Log signed and cache returned as found. TFTC

Found while staying down the road in Calliope and taken a trip into the nearby big smoke for look around and to add a few smileys to my count. A nice easy Drive By. TFTC.

Finally heading south. staying a few days in Gladstone.
After a day of computing and brain strain yesterday it was good to get back out and have a go today. The mozzies werent too bad in the morning although did become friendlier in the arvo. Glad the clouds seem to have pushed on for a bit.
We did find your cache so thanks.

Went straight to it, wandered off and then the other half came back and found it. TFTC I like this container- would be good for waterproofing
For a simple find this one has proved complicated for us to get to. We've sailed past it, deploying anchors far too late, any number of times. This time we actually turned around to get it and discovered a happy chappy in blue doing great business with the pre Easter speedsters ( say that fast five times). We gave him a wave and did a four meter dash and signed the log and replaced everything all in less time than it takes a sailor fresh to Port to find a rum, there is sporting prowess for you . All is well here, thanks for the cache Bundy, on this Brisbane to Gladstone yacht race weekend.

Unfortunately, continuing roadworks makes replacement of this cache currently impossible. It will be going back once the roadworks are finished.

House sitting on Boyne from Tassie and had a day free to tour and visit international friends who have recently relocated to Rocky. A quick find with plenty of gaps in the passing traffic. TFTC
I had to do an Oil Change on the Geomobile today which meant getting the Motor warm, what better way to get the Motor warm than to go for a Drive, and even better is to go for a Drive to find a Geocache.
On my way to GZ I stopped at some Traffic Lights and a Car stopped in the lane next to me and gave me a toot, Now I don't know if it was a coincidence or not but it was Bundy!!! What are the odds of that?
I only just had time to say I was heading out to Find His new Cache when the Lights changed.
You were right when you said it will be obvious where GZ is, because when I got there and got out of the Geomobile, GPS in hand and little pointy arrow telling me where to go I put the GPS in my pocket and walked straight to the Cache..
Great to have another Cache in Town and I look forward to many more

Very excited to see a new geocache on the map from the legendary bundyandcoke. I set off as soon as was logically possible in anticipation. Some stealth was required since it was travel peak hour, but since the cache was off the road it was quickly in hand. Great views of local industry. Thank for the road turning instructions, they were very helpful. Hooray a new cache and a FTF!! Tftc bundyandcoke, keep them coming
