Bee did the scouting, Boot did the hard work! Heading into Sean Hill on o go for a scoot along the river. Thanks Sparra0907 for placing and maintaining the cache for our enjoyment. #2406
After a few trials and tribulations and trying to a couple of totts this blighter was ready to sign. Well, what a welcome lol Tftc
Out very early this morn to do a check on this little cache and to see if its still there....and it was. All fine and dandy and nice and dry and ready to be found again. Keep Looking. Cheers. The CO.
All signs lead to another find for the Wombat. Tested out my little legs on this one. Meandered my way to the right spot and had the cache soon in hand. Cheers Sparra.
We searched far and wide for quite a while with no luck, and it was only once we employed a TOTT we were able to find the cache. A good hide, but maybe it could have a higher T rating.Today seemed to be a good day for bike riding, so Mrs SKI put together a route that took us through a mixture of sightseeing and caching. And a good day it was as we rode along the river and a number of bike paths seeing the sights and collecting some trads, multis, puzzles a Virtual. We even managed a stop at a bakery for lunch and a coffee.Mrs SKI calculates we rode around 14km for the entire trip. There weren't a lot of muggles about and the sun was shining with a slight breeze.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Sparra0907.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. This is our first visit to Swan Hill and there is sooo much to see and sooo many caches nearby, leaving us spoilt for choice. We headed out early this morning hoping to beat the heat. Very unsuccessful at that and pretty unsuccesful days caching too. Lots of DNF, feeling pretty sad now. Tired, hot and grumpy we gave up just after lunch. We did manage to find this cache. TFTC Sparra0907 [^]
Went for a drive to check on this cache this morning and it is still there all nice and dry and ready to be found again. Cheers.
Went for a ride around swan hill early this morning to check on this cache. And yes it is still there. Very dry and in a very good condition. Ready for the logbook to be signed again.
Yep, team work indeed!
Worked it out quick smart, Mrs Riddell handled the physical part and Mr Riddell handled the administrative duties.
Quickly done and dusted.
A very smart hide.
TFTC which gave us a a nice little start to the day challenge …. “Oh what a feeling!”

In Swan Hill for a few days and happy for this to be the first cache I find. Great spot for it and found reasonably quickly after assuming what to do. TFTC SL at 17:40pm.
Went out early this morning to check on this cache. It was not put back in its right place by the previous loggers, but it is now. All good. All nice and dry and in good condition. Cheers. The CO.
On our way to Mildura we stopped off and had to have a try at a 3.5 and thanks to geo hubby nimbleness we had the cache in hand, lucky it was a cold wet day and not too many people around. Thanks for placing this cache
After a busy week finding about 1000 wherigos in South Australia I made my way back home, covering almost 900km over 3 states in one day going the scenic route from Swan Reach to Swan Hill and then back south.
It was a beautiful sunny day to be wandering around country Victoria.
I had a good idea of what to look for here but despite clambering around a little could not locate the cache.
3 DNFs in Swan Hill. That means I leave town with no finds, other than one lab cache location.

After a lovely dinner Ausyowie and I thought we'd grab a few caches before settling in to watch the rugby. Location was found fairly easily. Not being of an "athletic" build, the physical collection of this cache was on Ausyowie whilst I gave moral support. Caches and log are in great condition. I felt the hardest part was opening the second snap lock bag!

Malipara and are staying in Swan Hill for the night. A very nice dinner was had at the Commercial Hotel. We recommend their pulled pig and smashed cow burgers. Yes, that's what they are called on the menu.
I've had a couple of previous failed attempts on one of the COs other local caches, so we walked off dinner and had a bit of a look. With Malipara's mother eyes we located the cache, but there was way too much traffic ( foot and car) and the taxis are clearly not busy tonight. We'll have another crack later. Anyway, Malipara wanted a hot chocolate, so back to the car and off to get one.
We spotted this cache and thought that it would be fun. We did have a few laughs too. This 52 year old dad bod isn't as agile as it once was. Nevermind, we gave it a crack and came up trumps. Nice creativity Sparra. Thanks for the placement.

Found it....as previous log it was hard to get hold of...but we got it in the end. TFTC
TFTC I looked at the difficulty and the ought there’s no ways I’ll get this considering I can find some 1.5 caches around swan hill, but I headed that way and to my surprise I thought I know where I would place this cache. I managed to climb it like a monkey and the magnet was strong in trying to pull it out but I managed to turn the magnet on its side and have an easier grip and soon I had the cache in my hands and log signed on my own. Log was dry.
Hi there Sparra0907.
We found your cache **"" Welcome To Swan Hill.""** today.
The plan today was to find some more local Swan Hill Caches, and to give some previously un-logged DNF's another chance.
Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Nothing
Thank you Sparra0907 for adding to our adventure.
Regards
Ian & Penny

Found during our COVID 2020 Murray River trip. While Melbourne was in a state of turmoil rural Victoria was still okay, and with 4 weeks leave, and all the borders closed we decided the only warmish place in Vic was going to be as north as we could get. After a decade or so travelling north and west we started on the trips we'd left til later - the Murray River. Starting from East Gippsland we got to Wemen out of Robinvale before they announced Victoria was going back into Stage 3. Now we're working our way back home and avoiding Melbourne. Found this along the way. TFTC. DJ
Checked on this cache today. Logbook has been replaced with a brand new waterproof one and is all set to go again. Cheers. Stay safe and stay home.
It was time for a trip up the highway for clan Na'wal and clan DAB. With 2 cars packed to the brim with people and food, we hit the road. We were hoping for better weather, but we copped rain both days. The wind didn't let up either, but being winter it was to be expected. We had mixed luck with our caching, but luckily there were more finds than DNF's.
Unfortunately it was over all too soon and we were back on the highway, homeward bound in no time. Thanks to the CO's for the effort of placing these caches.
Found without too much hassle, but we couldn't sign the wet log book. We added our names to a small bit of paper and placed that in the cache. TFTC Sparra0907

It was great to be able to get away for a few days with the family and help celebrate a birthday milestone. DAB and I planned out a few caches for the area while we were there. The weather wasn't all that kind to us but we had a blast anyway with plenty of laughs & food.
It was goodbye to Swan Hill for us. Not too much hassle finding this cache today but with a wet log that was not able to be signed, we left a scrap of dry paper.
Our thanks to Sparra0907 for placing this cache for us to find and enjoy

The three of us were on our way to north east Victoria, and stopped here to find this one. Mr Tardis came prepared, and after reading all the logs, I had a good idea of where this one would be. So I didn't fall for the red herring and managed to find the cache in the first place I looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Sparra0907.

Found on 1 December 2019 at 6:52:16 pm. Find #2825. Very clever cache. Tricked me 1st time but then made the find. Love it...
Thanks for the adventure Sparra0907!
Thanks for the adventure Sparra0907!
When we arrived at this location, we searched the obvious places but didn't find the cache. So we got one of our TOTT and searched in other locations. Yes - we found the decoy but very soon after we located the well hidden cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Sparra0907 for the cache.
Found with neisha07 & boo09 while in Swan Hill (Pental Island) for my cousins wedding.
A nice quick find in our dresses and heels in between ceremony & reception. Neisha07 did the honours here. TFTC

Day two, in the very good company of Suscoe and the forecast of hot weather a caching course was charted close to the city.
We did feel welcome after finding this one, we are tuning in to local hides more successfully.
**FEEDBACK TO CO:** Log was soaked and we replaced - the design of this container is not moisture proof and needs your attention please.
Thanks 'Sparra0907' for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Suscoe was out and about with Phetlern on this warm Spring day.
It got to 30 degrees and it was sunny, a light sprinkle of rain at times and sunny again as well as being windy.
We focused on caches that were not too far out of town and enjoyed finding a range of caches and hides.
It was a top day and we had a great time.
Thanks to Sparra0907 for this hide and also thanks to H for the find, great work.

Woot! Required two of us to obtain, iKaruS knees and my mo key like ability - GPS pretty spot on!
This was a very sneaky one and certainly requires some height or a 2 person hunt. No we’re off again after a disappointing blue face earlier.

Can only assume we were looking in completely the wrong spot! GPS took us away from the big feature in the middle of the median strip and its bushes. Boo hoo. (8/10)
Found the decoy but at my advanced age I refuse to look for caches hidden in ridiculous places, my climbing days are long over
#14731. Day 3 of our few days staying at Lake Boga and caching around the area. Not such a successful day for us with the DNF tally starting to climb steadily upwards. I did however manage to get 15 finds. It was tough going with several long searches slowing us down. By 3.00pm we called it quits in frustration and headed back to Lake Boga to relax.
Well this was a nasty and sneaky and dastardly piece of work. FINALLY, had the cache to hand and names added the log sheet. The decoy came first of course. We were still discussing this one for quite some time afterwards. Mmmm, might need to revisit a few of our DNFs. Bonus was that we managed to get about 18 months of "unloved" for this one.
Thanks Sparra0907

I had a few extra days off work so BettyBoo3747 and I decided to nip across to Swan Hill for a few caches. Been quite a while since we have been here and there are lots of new caches to do.
Did a few caches around Lake Boga in the morning, then a few in Swan Hill in the afternoon.
Not quite a Welcome to Swan Hill sign, more like a welcome to the racetrack sign.
Looked in the usual spots, we are getting used to these signs
BB then spotted the decoy, and finally we grabbed the real deal.
Interesting idea for a hide.
Thanks, Robmc.

Another happy face thanks Sparra for the placement. Time to try another location.log signed and put back in its hide
A cool spot for a cache find with friends.
Found with the awesome Team Crackers, fabulous Maccamob, hilariously funny Alansee, and the lovely micaparamedic.
We cached all day, enjoyed the Swan Hill 6 months to the Alexandra Event, and then ended our day with a delicious dinner at the RSL (Dianne, Mark, Mary, David, Alan, Gary and myself).
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've had a big, but generally a relaxing couple of weeks away in Victoria.
Ballarat, Border track, Pinnaroo, Bendigo, Wedderburn, Swan Hill, Maryborough, Mt Beckworth and Mt Gambier are just a few of the spots I have visited during my caching trip. There was an emergency room visit, loads of driving, stacks of laughter, amazing food, lots of new learnings (like oh my goodness!!), and a wonderful mix of fabulous people.
I am loving this country and getting out and about in it!
Thanks for the cache Sparra0907!

After having a great time at the 6 months to the Alexandra mega we joined forces with alansee, micaparamedic and goodlook for an afternoon's caching
We arrived at gz and searched all the likely locations to start with, we thought "right" it must be there. We headed back to the car to grab a tool that would make retrieving the cache easier but Alansee used a different method but with the same results and the log has now been signed.
To save room in the logs we signed as The big 4 as we were all staying there.
Thanks Sparra0907 for the cache.

Found with a group of other cachers while attending the nearby event. A good hide but I am glad that I am still agile!
In Swan Hill for an event with Mrs. Aussie M&M and mogni. To save space, we simply put our group stamp of GOTHS (Geocachers Of The HillS) in the logs.
The GPS left me straight to GZ. Up I went and balanced precariously as I had a little feel. Ah. Gotcha. But us I was pulling it out something broke and it went plummeting out of reach. [^] Bugger. Double bugger. Back to the car for some tape which I put onto my telescopic tool to lower and stick the cache too. Back up I went but now I had to balance my size twelves on the narrow water pipe and try and have both hands free to lower and raise the tool. If only I was not over one twenty kgs and approaching sixty years this might have been a bit easier.
But I persevered and extracted the cache. Open it to read. "This is not the cache" [:(!] After all that a bloody red herring. [:(!]
So back up I went and found the real cache in another park of GZ.
But now I had to precariously balance for a third time so I could attach the red herring back how it was to confuse, confound and irritate the next poor sod. [:0)]
Thanks Sparra0807 for a very memorable cache.

Not many places this could be. Located the cache and had just retrieved it when FUF009 pulled up. We all signed the log and returned it. We certainly got some strange looks from a couple of young ladies going into the flats. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Just had time to grab this before heading to today's event. Thanks for the cache and bringing us here.
Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!

We wasted a great deal of time retrieving a red herring that had broken and fallen in....
Then we made the actual hide.
Some maintenance may be required as the weather is starting to takes its toll on parts of this hide.

This took us a while ... Found with mogni, AussieM&M, brisal5 and hevwalker!!! Brisal did the hard work on this one!! Thanks for the hide!!

We went to the coords but only found a red herring. The next spot gave us the find with Brian and an extra boost needed. Some muttering. Cp and Hevwalker helped too. SLTN.
Found on the way to Swan Hill for the Lunch event tomorrow along with SnapHappy and The Empire. It's now after 4pm, we're all having caffeine withdrawals, need to get this one found and signed, so wre can head on down the road to feed our addiction. Thanks for the hide

On my way to the '6 Months to the event in Alexandra - Swan Hill' event! After bypassing Bendigo, I detoured through Terrick Terrick, then onto Pyramid Hill for the earthcache. Snap Happy chased an old Steam Train and I chased Snap Happy. We ended up miiiles away from caches and after heading back to the main road we ended up in Kerang. Heading into Swan Hill, we cruised around and picked up some caches before checking into our accommodation. A quick find, once we worked out where we needed to be! Thanks for the cache, Sparra0907.

Out and about in Swan Hill again today and this was one of the caches we found. A quick find by an agile Mr W. It felt like we were on private property though. TFTC
3rd attempt here. Decoy easily found but this one is impossible without a ladder or some help to achieve elevation. TFTC.
Confirmed by the CO we were almost on the right track to this cache, just needed a second pair of hands or very long arms. No time for a second look so we left this cache for our next trip. Thanks.
Was just heading through Swan Hill on a trip north and we had to stop and stretch the legs so we decided to do this cache. We stretched a bit more than the legs lol Great hide, thanks for the fun sparra0907!

This looked a bit tricky from the start. Far from welcoming we had get through the 3 strand wire fence, which wasn't difficult but then GZ appeared to be in an awkward place. Fortunately one of us was sufficiently agile to reach the well hidden container. All was good at 13:10. TFTC
Saturday and it's time to head for Bendigo with the geo family of Tounga, Moneydork and sushilord.

Finally found after second time. Lucky geokids came, defiantly needed their geo help. Had funny looks off muggles
What a mean place to put a geocache! So close to a police station.
After waiting for a pram pushing muggle to leave the area Mr Beetle retrieved this one from the place we had sussed out as the potential hide.
A tricky one but easily found. Thanks.

After last night's effort we thought that mabe the cache had been muggled already
No not the case
Well Well Well a FTF
Parked Da Roo Mobile near GZ , This time in daylight
Does make a difference for this one, specially with these ol' 4 eyes
Looking,looking,looking
Gotcha!!!! Time 10:18 am
Thought that we were goin' to be here until the cows came home!!!
Now its time to trot off
Thanks for the cache Sparra0907 and for the eye exercise!!!! [^]

Been down here twice now with no luck!! Searched literally high and low with nothing to find. Argh, hoping I can get an answer from cache owner as I did find a couple of littles I thought may be part of it....
A quick trip into town to snare this one
But alas darkness beat us
Did find a couple of objects but no container
Will message CO just in case
Thanks for the cache sparra0907
