Another Whitey Wiskas find on our travels today. Thanks for taking us on this country drive today. It was such a scenic tour. Cache found, log signed. All good! Cheers!
What a glorious sunny day for some caching and we thought we would travel to Kootingal and surrounds to put some Smileys on our geocaching map.
A quick find was had at GZ.
Took small eraser, left toy figurine and left geocaching sticker. Signed log. TFTC WW

We are working our way towards the mega in Daybro, it was good to see a day with no rain so we were just grabbing a few caches that were close to the road trying to make up a bit of time in case we get turned around by floods.
There was quite a large poultry establishment across the road but it was surprisingly quiet around the area and very very soggy around gz. We were quite happy when the cache was found quickly and our name was added to the log.
Thanks Whiey whiskas for this quick park and grab.

Tamworth and Amrmidale Trip March 2020. Day 4. I headed north with Fitzy_1965 along the New England Highway towards Tamworth. Today we decided to stay an extra day around Tamworth and as far away as Uralla. The day was mostly roadside caches, but they were all of differing levels of challenges, especially when you have to deal with Farmers Friends and Stinging Nettles at almost every cache.
Thanks for the cahe Whitey Wiskas

20,560. Found with albida33 during a meander up to and around the Tamworth and Armidale regions.
Day 4 of our trip. Headed out after breakfast for what turned out to be another big days caching. We aimed to hit some more of the trails around the region. Next stop of the day, and we came up with a quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, then headed off to the next one.

Caching in and around Tamworth and surrounds, we picked up a few caches with Whitewebbs and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.

Out and about caching around Tamworth and surrounds with Tassie Trekkers and this was one we found. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the rural drive. The standard of hides and creativity of some were fantastic. TFTC

There is such a wonderful selection of caches around this area and this was one we targetted and found. We were impressed that caches were not missing and were well maintained. Thanks to Whitey Wiskas for hiding this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Hi there Whitey Wiskas.
Today was a drive from Tamworth to Moonbi Lookout (and return), logging caches along the way. The caches we found were all well placed, and the for the most part had pretty accurate coordinates. We can see that a lot of thought has gone into the placement of all the caches we found today.
All up we found 21 caches & DNF'd 3 in this cache run. Thanks for placing the caches. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places while we meander around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around 5m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** A gold coin.
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A quick find here,
once I read the previous logs
No rooting needed [:o]
Just a lot of barking around the right tree
TFTC on Acacia.
Talk about the wrong side of the highway.
The properties this side of the main drag are just wubbish dumps [:o]
Must be where they grow all the illicit stuff,
behind the fences and No Trespassing signs

Rooted around for a while lots of rabbit burrows and ants. We can up empty handed this time. We will be back.
Had to read the previous notes as was looking in the wrong place, then a nicely hidden find. Did not attempt other 2 nearby ones nearby by WW as hot day and looked a bit snaky, will return another time, tftc
Brahms6 couldn’t find this one. Scratched around for much longer then I should have but still came up empty handed.
Another DNF. Too many today and the flies a starting to really annoy. Thanks Whitey
Startled a pair of rabbits and was watched by a curious horse. With a probe here and a prod there, I soon located the cache, TNLN thanks.
Second day at Tamworth - loved country and plenty to see scene, animal etc.
Some of the cache was brilliant create. it make me enjoyed myself. [^]
Thanks Whitey Wiskas for organising the cache and hunt [^]

This one took us a bit longer than it should have, it is not hard it just depends where you start. SL TFTC
We certainly aroused the interest of the local horses quite a nice display oh, the geo-hubby found the cache; SL; TFTC
Found by Mary & David at 0945. The horses looked very contented in this landscape. Even a patch of blue sky for us as we head north. Our thanks to Whitey Wiskas.
We have travelled up from Sydney, to spend a week or so in Tamworth & Nundle for the April school holidays, staying at the Big4 Paradise caravan park in our Jayco Swan outback camper trailer. Today is our last day in Tamworth, before heading off to Nundle for a few days, and we decided on a trip up to Moonbi Lookout. Travelled up the New England Highway and returned via the Back Kootingal Road, collecting caches along the way. This was the 4th find of the day, 45th find of the holiday.
A quick "park & grab" by the roadside. A couple of friendly horses came over to the fence at GZ to say hello to us while we were signing the log. TNLNSL, and then replaced as found. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.

#2931 (5 of 12 today) (Streak day 329)
Well, it's time to head for home after a weekend at Supanova on the gold Coast. I made it to Armidale last night - and started early so I could grab plenty of caches along the way to break the long drive to Sydney - hoping to grab more caches to count towards the *NSW State Challenge* cache (GC3CA9M).
Got 12 today and made it home a bit after 8pm. And the Geowife is out with friends! Oh well. Microwave dinner for me.
Top trip and grabbed plenty of caches.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Well, this wasn't as quick as the last find. I went around and around - rummaged with a stick, peered into holes - nothing. Hmmm.
After 10 minutes I started again, and found it in one of the first places I'd searched - though obviously not well enough.
Completed signing duties and replaced.

Moved from Uralla to Tamworth today. Stopped for a couple of caches on the way.
After setting up camp in the caravan park, we then set out in Whitey Whiskas Territory.
The caches were all mostly a quick find with good co-ords or a good hint.
Thanks for placing this cache Whitey Wiskas

Yuk a dead parrot lying here! Then I found the rather large spider web....?but then I found the cache! TFTC
MrsG sprung out of the vehicle at an obvious GZ for what should have been a quick find but after almost walking face first into a large orb spider her cache finding ability all but vanished and along with it apparently her eyesight. Quick find by MrG. TFTC Whitey Wiskas.
Quick find after our GPS had us by-pass Tamworth and come out to the New England Highway at the side road junction, we then carried on up the side road for the Acacia Road and Tea Tree caches
Spent 2 nights in Tamworth, and geo-hubby went out to find some local caches.
Cache found after a short search, and in good condition.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Whitey Wiskas, for us and others to find.

From the way that I approached this cache it was awkward to look inside, but thankfully the previous finder had just chucked the cache in and so it was on its side so that I could see the blue clip - otherwise I would have missed it in that dark corner [^]
Thanks Whitey Wiskas.
