I have driven past this one on multiple occasions and thought I would grab it while I was out and about. This little spot is awesome! This is why I like caching because it takes you to places that you had no idea were actually there... like these cool rocks, the old fence the view.. i can imagine how the view would have been much nicer prior to the development and us humans taking over. Thanks TrickyT.. i've been enjoying your caches.Noted the cache has a harmless protector who is just chilling.. did a quick google of the type of protector and it is a Chrysolina.. very cute!#794
Yet another cracking morning in South East Queensland. Heading out west today to pick up a few caches that have been on the radar for awhile and will help with a few challenge caches Im currently working on. Arrived at the suggested parking location and quickly made my way to ground zero. I soon had the cache in hand and extracted the log. Mark made and safely returned to its hiding place ready for the next cacher.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found by like minded individuals.Cheers
Took a while and a bit harder than I thought but a reallyyyy good hide! Very well thought of:) Tftc!
My Physio has asked me to reduce the amount of walking I do while my knee is in recovery. So today I set off to do some park-n-grab caches. Technically this isnt really a park-n-grab but it was a nice short walk. A dirt track, a bit of a hill and some rock scrambling. All the sort of stuff I love and am not supposed to be doing at the moment. So I think there was a bit of guilty pleasure in finding this one. The usual clever hide from TrickyT but this time the clue made it obvious to me where to look so it was a fairly quick find. Thanks TrickyT! These are the sort of geocaches I love. Usually I like to work a bit harder for them but today this was just perfect.
Caching today for some crazy souvenirs and to do some maintenance.
This was to be a quick last one but not so. Up, up and up we went.

I decided to take advantage of the public holiday today and head out to Ipswich for a spot of caching rather than the usual Monday commute to work. I was after one cache in particular to meet the requirements of a challenge, but of course there were other caches to find, including this one.
Pulled up on the opposite side of the road to the entry track and made my way across. As I was starting up the track a car pulled up nearby and gave me a yell to attract my attention. The driver started talking too me but I was to far away to hear. I indicated a couple of times I couldn't hear him as I walked closer but then the driver started up the car and sped off in a hail of gravel from the spinning tyres. Must have mistaken me for his local dealer!!??
After that little incident I continued back up the track to GZ and soon commenced my search. Initially I was looking far too low and eventually realised where the better point of view was on offer and the cache was quickly located safe and well. TFTC

If you take the path less travelled watch put for the orb weavers across the path. Nice find. Paper was damaged though. Very clever spot.
Back in Ipswich for medical appointments and waiting for other campgrounds to dry out after the recent rain events.
A very cold start to a fantastic winters day. Great to be able to get out and about tackling some caches. Fave point from us.

Found with Peppa and Patrol14. Our first cache for this day of adventure.
Peppa was up the rocks like a Mountain Goat while Patrol14 and I were chatting while still walking up the hill.
Right at this point 2manytrailers (one of our regular team members who couldn't make it today) called to see how we were going. Patrol14 heading up the rocks to help Peppa on his search. A little more rummaging around and Peppa had the cache in hand. Thanks for placing this cache TrickyT

Another Friday of caching with PirateLinda, Patrol14 and to be joined later by TMZ59 we’re heading “West”… we have different ideas of “West”… todays it’s Ippy and surrounds…
This was our first stop, and after finding appropriate parking (it only took two tries) we followed the path in with me in advance taking care of the spiderwebs…
Despite having a previous finder with us, it took awhile to find this cleverly hidden cache… I was close but missed it completely on the first pass…
Tftc… dropping a fave point for the unique cache…

The most direct route is not necessarily the quickest especially when it involves pushing through scrub to come out on an established path. Thanks for the cache
One of my goals for 2021 is to find more caches in Ipswich, set out this morning to grab a few.
Short walk up here before the heat set in.
Well done here TrickyT!
Thank you for hiding this geocache and keeping me entertained TrickyT

I had done many jobs at the new development down the road and driven past this one exhausted late in the afternoon. Today I was working nearby again and happily finished early enough to go for a stroll to enjoy the view. I had a poke around and read a few logs, one of which took me straight back to where I'd already been and look a bit closer. A very cool hide indeed. Name added to the log and a stroll back to the car. Tftc TrickyT
Out nearby visiting my Dad, the bonus is to check out some local cache spots on the return journey.
Oh a Tricky cache, wondered around a bit, looked up, looked down, looked around and then looked at the obvious. A great cache in a great tucked away spot.

Found today, after pass6by this cache so many times. A great spot and a well crafted cache I overlooked at first glance. A nice spot to sit and watch the world go by below. Tftc
Found with stairman1 and geopuppy. Last one for the day. It must be 100 degrees out in the sun. Way too hot for geopuppy’s feet. We hurried up here and found a shady spot while stairman1 searched. He quickly located the cache and scribbled our names in the log. Now to get out of here and back to the aircon. Thanks TrickyT
Found with goldielover today in the blazing sun. Probably not the ideal time of day for a TT cache. Great cache hide once again. Well done
Now to get out of this furnace.

It was a scorching hot day and I was glad that they walk in to the search area was reasonably short. I wandered around searching a few spots and then remembered that I was looking for a TrickyT hide and had a second look in one specific spot and soon located the sneaky cache.
Thanks TrickyT, that was fun.

A quick find! A very awesome cache and a favourite for me! Thanks for the hide!
Found with geokid_madison on our way to 4000. This is find 3999 for me! Very clever and in a great spot. A favourite point from us!
Out and about today visiting a client in Ipswich. Was going to get there too early, so what could I possibly do to find in some time.... Now let me think....
So off in to the bush for a nice little walk. There certainly is a nice view from the GZ. Nice way to hide the cache too. Signed the log, and returned all as found. In good order. Not wet or anything.
Thanks for bringing me to this spot, and filling in some time today!!

Great little hide came here about a week ago don't know how I missed it but decided a good one to come back for the souvenir thanks co
Out and about with IolatheK today. It looked like another wet caching Wednesday when we caught up in a car park. As I made the wise choice to leave my sunnies in my car the weather improved rapidly and it turned out quite nice.
After having fun climbing up and down the rocks I had the right idea at the slightly wrong location. Ah, there it was.

Out for a few hours again with ankakeca
Loved being in this spot, and had a fun time all over the rocks. Lots of hidey-holes here, but we very nearly had to leave empty-handed ankakeca checked one last spot and then I checked a similar one and we had the find [^] TFTC, TrickyT. Have a favourite point.

Out for a day of caching with RoddyC, nikid1, Sewrainbow, Patrol14 and KerriMG around the Collingwood Park area. Only a few of us caching later this afternoon and we really enjoyed the challenge of trying to find this one. Clever hide TrickyT.
A day out in the Collingwood Park area with Joojoo57 and Patrol 14.
We indeed took the lesser traveled road and soon clambered over the rocks looking for what eventually turned out to be a very clever hide - nut not clever enough for RoddyC!! A rare Favourite from us.
Log signed by all & replaced again. Found at 2.30pm on 14th July 2016. TFTC

Out for a day of Geocaching with RoddyC, Joojoo57, sewrainbow, KerriMG and nikid1 in this area.
A fun day out and interesting places to visit.
Found a parking spot off the road and walked up to this one. Everyone searching high and low, I had checked one spot but dismissed it and moved onto another spot. RoddyC called "found it" and it was where I had just looked. Clever Hide!!! Logbook signed all returned to its hide.
A fav from me.

I still have a green blob on the map here. I have been to this twice!! Why did I not log it in June... its October now... I do not know. When I was there in June, I checked and it was last September '15 I was here .. why did I not log it then... Ive no idea - possibly a glitch in the system (computer or brain who knows). Soooo Im finally rectifying the glitch and logging this one now for June... I know it was this day, as I was with my son and did Pickle My Grandmother nearby to make sure I had a proper find for the day. TFTC TrickyT

A cloudy afternoon for a drive around the East side of Ipswich.
A good bush walk and viewing point and no muggles around here today.
Thanks for the cache TrickyT,

I've driven past this one a few times but sadly, never had the time to stop and nip up for a hunt... Today I did and made a point of dropping by... [^]
A short walk to the area and a little obstacle avoidance, I was in the prime location and quickly spotted the cleverly constructed hide... Ah yes, typical TrickyT work, I like it...
I etched my name in the log then tucked it back.. It blends in very nicely with it's surrounds, doesn't it... A favourite point from me for your handy work.
Cheers TrickyT.

This afternoon we headed out to grab a few caches despite the heat, and this one was number 1 for the day We pulled up at the trailhead and parking, and set off along the road less travelled We made our way closer to GZ, and soon arrived up the top and began the search. We soon spotted something, and quickly had the cache in hand and added our names to the logbook [^]

Was able to get out this morning to find a cache or two and this one was the first for today
Gps took us to the right spot and with a short search had the cache in hand.
A very well done hide simple but effective, just the type of cache I like so a Fav. point from us

We were going to attempt this cache yesterday but there was a camera van at the parking spot, We decided it would not go down well if we blocked his view.
Today we returned and the way was clear. We wandered towards the cache and with fantastic co-ords the well placed cache was signed. TFTC

On my way back from doing the Earthcache at Swanbank, I decided to do this cache. I probably shouldn't have done it because I needed to get back to get ready for work. But a cacher always says "Just one more!". Thankfully my geosense was correct and it didn't take me long at all. Nicely camoed cache TrickyT. TFTC!
Out and about today slowly making my way from Toowoomba to Darra. I have all day so a little detour to find a few caches.
I grew up in Ipswick so passing through a few places bringing back some memories. [^]
Abit of searching before finding this one. Then I discovered I had dropped my pen somewhere so started backtracking. Found it near the car, so 2 laps up the hill.
Thanks for the cache.

What a sneeky hide with the tiger croc cache making hags. Tftc. Favorite for me
Said I would find it. Didn't fall over anything this time. Power lines still played havoc with the signals but a bit of triangulation soon pointed out the best view. As usual, a tricky one. There is a lot of barbed wire and other disused fencing materials lying about. Didn't see any creepy crawlies but mozzies might find you.
Spent too much time on this one. My co-ordinates were moving around. Will return in a little while. Probably think why I didn't find it before.
I thought an hour after publication might be too long for an FTF... And I was right! Longer log to follow.
Was a little surprised but managed to get a joint FTF with ManicWombat at 1230 hours today. TFTC TrickyT
It's been a long time since I got an FTF, but today we got two joint FTFs! This one was the first. Saw this soon after it was published, and as it was not all that far way MightyMouse09 and I decided to go and have a look. We parked and headed to GZ with nobody about. Got the find quickly and were rewarded with a blank log book. Very neat hide this, TFTC TrickyT
I was tied up at work on a Saturday morning when a bunch of new caches came out, and so I had to wait until about an hour after publication to choose my best target and set off. I put it on watch but all was quiet as I pulled in and set off the long way (which is still not very long).
Up we go, and hey, watch out for the barbed wire lying around. I was on snake alert too, but none appeared.
The arrow took me to a spot which has been 'Tricky' in the past, but nothing appeared. When I switched on my brain and looked around, I was drawn straight to the real spot. Great hide once again!
I wasn't too cut to find I was STF as the Mighty Manics are great locals and very deserving.
As I went down the short way, I spotted a suspicious vehicle with a couple inside. Who should it be but Stairman and Goldielover, en route to Stanthorpe. After a quick chat, we opted to head off for the other new release, which was helpfully on the highway: I'm sure they'll be back soon.
TFTC which is a very nice addition to your collection!
