Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Mr ILT certainly lost some blood
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. We made the find here and only a little bit of blood was spilt. Thanks for the cache BBB.
Full time Nomads since March 2014.
Having been in Perth to visit family our stay has come to an end and we are on our way to Broken Hill for the Mundi Mundi Bash.
Moving today from Jamestown to Orroroo. We pulled into the driveway at the caravan park and the wind was unleashed on us. My goodness crazy crazy windy. We unhitched the van and headed out to cache in advance of the forecast rain but wow that wind was crazy it was difficult to even open the car doors. We had to be so careful that the logsheets didnt blow away before we could put them back.
Sistemas was smashed here. Have replaced with a similar sized container. all good for next finder.

A quick park and grab was on the cards here but the damaged lid made it difficult to place container in a safe way and protect contents from rain. Managed to sign log and return cache without spelling blood though so all ended well.
Found during a caching trip to SA's mid north staying at Orroroo for two nights and Jamestown for the last night. We did these caches in an afternoon circuit through Pekina to Booleroo Centre and up to Willowie before returning to Orroroo. Thanks for the cache chrispy89!
Definitely stabbed myself, but wanted that cache! Container now broken, will try to replace if I come

Trip to the Mid North with the geo-pup. Day 7, Orroroo to Pekina and return.
Container has seen better days, was just chucked in the aloes. Now wedged in a fork.

This weekend, jesswrigley and I headed to Melrose for mountain biking the trails with a few non-geocaching friends. We ended up hiking up to Mount Remarkable on Sunday, and on Monday, we returned to home via Booleroo Centre, Jamestown, and Clare. The weekend had some rain drizzle and crisp mornings, but otherwise good weather for fitness.
Today, we had a morning Melrose mountain biking session, before starting to drive back to Adelaide. We had some time to fill, so ended up taking the long route via Booleroo Centre, Hornsdale, and Jamestown, to then arrive at Clare for an afternoon tea/coffee event. It was then an expedited drive via Gawler.
We parked, and had a quick search of this one to make this an easy find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook was damp. Thanks chrispy89 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Also a special thanks for blocking this space to be a BBB cache!

The prick of a cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. No thanks for placing a not fun prick of a cache guys. We don't love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age. The prick of a cache. The prick of a cache. The prick of a cache.

Co ords fairly accurate in this one, I had BBB caches. I hate them. But this one was fairly easy
Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Approached this location with an element of dread. We have been pricked many times before. Gloves on, had a cursory look, with gps pretty unstable, however a previous log narrowed the search area and Mrs SG came up with the goods. Tftc
After enjoying a great lunch in Quorn with new found friends, it was time to drive home. Caching made the journey better - happy to change a frown to a smile

After a lovely night at the camp site (great facilities for tent campers) but a crap game of footy (if you are a Pies fan) it was up and ready for a day of caching in the Orroroo surrounds.
We travelled all over the countryside and had a fantastic day. We did an epic multi, visited lots of abandoned structures with heaps of history, saw lots of Orroroo masters games venues and called in at the pub in Pekina for a beer. Great day of country fun, punctuated with some super finds. Love a good day of SA country caching.
It started off very cold this morning with low lying clouds meaning we were in fog for the first couple of hours. Once this burnt off it was a superb winters day, sunny and warm. We saw lots of sheep, roos, wallabies, goats and an echidna which was cool. Rex had a brilliant day and was absolutely shattered by the time we got back to the campsite.
Thankfully this cache was found relatively quickly in the sour sobs with the aid of the walking pole without drawing any blood. TFTC chrispy89

Having been in Quorn for the long weekend and giving ourselves a bonus day to keep exploring we were making our towards home. I got so many of those out of the way caches that I really enjoy and saw some places that only geocaching brings you to.

I headed along the back roads for a few caches north of Booleroo this morning
What on earth was BBBPS ??
“Booleroo, something, something, Primary Skool” [:o]
But why would a Primary Skool be way out here ??
Approaching GZ, the horror of what BBB meant hit home
Nooooo !!!
I must be back in South Australia !!!
I went into battle,
poorly armoured against the pointy hoards !! [:o]
And got spiked in the hip
OUCH !!
I retreated for a rethink about this one.
And poked nervously around the edges for a while.
A funny noise was heard …
… and here under me size 9 hiking boot was a cache
Hah !! In your face Big Bad Chrisy89

Loved the 2 old cars behind the horrible plants here. Loved it even more when I made the find without pain. Grim did get a scratch though and blood was spilt. TFTC.

Out with LLL51 and Madham02 for a day of exploring and caching.
I cringe every time I see these plants and was glad this was an easy find after having quite a few bad experiences with BBB caches.

Thanks chrispy89, these caches can be a bit difficult with prickles or critters, but we found it after not too much difficulty.
Seeing the line of agars and having previous bad BBB experiences was not looking forward to the hunt for this one. Found without injury on a georun with mate PB. Thanks for the cache chrispy89.
Luckily it was a quick and easy find.
