Bridge could do with a bit of work on it, the cache was good though. TFTC.
On our way to Canberra for the mega, Staying in Cowra for a few nights. There was a track to GZ but there were loads of prickles and grass; so didn't get even with a good search
With too many amazing places and history to explore in the area, and limited time to see it all, we imposed a 10min search before we dnf it, sadly this one would normally provide us with a good challenge, with it being so overgrown we simply timed out, so more reasons to come back tftc

Hi there Joshwa27,
It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue. The cache has been temporarily disabled, so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache can be addressed.
**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days, so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.**
#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-
- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache and repair and/or replace or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ). Then sit back and wait for the logs of praise to roll in.
- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately), so without your note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area is in flood, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
So please just post a note to the page (within 14 days) and when a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine for a little bit longer.
**Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. If you have a long term unavailable cache (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**
- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.
You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when a Reviewer next looks at the cache page, it is likely that they will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) on the basis that it has been abandoned.
Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.
**JUST A TIP:-** Have you checked out the Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own? Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD).

The fourth day of geocaching with Team Canary, Brewmaker, Noodles21, ziggiau and Rainbow Spirit. After lots of walking in Wattle Flat on Wednesday, for Thursday we would take it easy and drive up to Cowra for many more solved Joswa caches, that would not require a lot of walking.
On our return back to Bathurst, we also visited some of the beautiful places in between; Carcoar, Blaney and King Plains.
Logs were signed with the team name BRINTZ. TFTC!

Heading back and looking for LGAs this was selected for its better rating. It took a while to work out which level. We enlisted a previous finder and a long and over grown search finally turned up what we suspected would be the hide.
Like Millicent many plans had been hatched to get to the bike but lock downs and or lock outs had thwarted all efforts. Realising people's schedules the Millicent and Bike raids were separated. This time we elected to drive and pick up a number of LGA’s along the way. The team consisted of B@W, Crash 2079, PPE and Tardis 0061 so logs were often signed as BCPT which could also stand for Bike Cycling Power Trail amongst other things.
We had a few other targets along the way and plenty of TOTT between the Jeep and DB including the inflatable yak often known as BD2.
Wet and flooded conditions made things tricky at times including the dirt roads and the raid was on and off. Some days we couldn’t dry off until night time making for a potentially grumpy cyclist. Plenty of emus around the Hay plans and a few Roos here and there plus a number of hares along the bike doing their version of being a speedy bunny. Despite the conditions, the bunch executed the plans pretty well. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC

Day 6 of our SA Bike frenzy. On our way back home we stopped for hopefully a quick find.
After a long search with a previous finder we finally uncovered the cache after doing extensive weeding and gardening of the area.
An excellent combined effort with B@W, Crash2079 and Tardis0061.

We manage to get to GZ which was quite a feat in itself but once there no joy. Too clever for us. Interesting structure. Thanks for bringing us here.
We looked from every angle for an access. There was no easy way so we took the best of a bad lot and were rewarded with a quick find when we got there. MrG had the right cache idea, mine was way off. TFTC Joshwa27.
Sydney to Adelaide Roadtrip
Day Three : Cowra to Balranad.
An interesting day weather wise, with rain in Cowra, and very heavy rain around West Wyalong to the point I was worried that the highway may close. Balranald didn’t get any rain at all.
A heavy shower has just passed through and I didn’t rate my chances here but I thought I’d have a look. My first thought here was that once again Joshwa27 is trying to kill me with blackberries. Turned out I could get to GZ fairly easily, blackberries weren’t an issue, and I got lucky with the find. Wouldn’t recommend this one for beginners!
Another memorable cache, thanks Joshwa27.

Even though this is a simple hide it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. We approached it from the most difficult angle, and after an initial look and the information that there was no need to climb any fences we trusted the GPSr which led us to the right area. It was only when it settled after some minutes that we found the sneaky devil.
We got rugged up in our Antarctic coats today to try and protect us from the weather. Cold, wet and drizzly, but we still managed to find caches! Fortunately we were able to dodge the showers most of the time.
Finished the caching with a nice lunch in a cafe in town.
Thanks to the COs and Cowra for an enjoyable if cold and wet time.

After reading the logs we got the elevation right and knew what we were looking for.
We found it with 5m showing on the GPS.
We usually see these containing a bison to keep the log dry, but this doesn't seem the way here.

Loked for ages, but between the blackberry brambles and stickyweed plants, I was defeated.
Thanks for showing me an interesting piece of history.

Another one found by Calypso62. We did get helped by a previous finder’s picture. Watch out for the blackberries on the way in. We are planning to make this our last for the day.

A quick find on a sightseeing tour around Cowra and the region today. This is a great town and I'm enjoying my time here.
Last find for the day. What an interesting bridge.
Thanks for hiding this cache and adding to my geocaching adventures.

Yeah, found this sneaky awesome cache mostly due to the guidance of TGG who actually found it severe storm warning issued & it’s about to start raining.... no pressure done, dusted & off to our next location TFTC
Muggle65 and l are on the long drive from Tumut back to Brisbane. This is our third cache stop for a leg stretch. This one could take a while but we got lucky today. With the very dark clouds overhead, that could be a good thing. Ate a few blackberries on the way out. Yum. Great hide and great spot for a cache. Thank you for placing this one.

Found it, Follow the tracks don’t go over the bridge or fence. Hard to find as grass is so long atm
Found at 1:06 PM GAFF1.
That was a tough one now that there is so much grass, prickles and everything was wet. We trusted our GPSr and finally came across a patch of ground that looked promising - however there were still many possible spots that it could be in. Then right on the time that we had to pull the plug, p-pprass spots something that is slightly different from the others - and yep! That is the cache

#3705 In town for the day from Canberra with GM and co. Seen hides like this before. Replaced as found. TFTC.
Our first find for today and what a glorious day! Found this one rather quickly after going off on a few wrong tangents! It helps to be looking at a spot on the right angle! Thanks for the cache! : )
Tftc quick park and grab. Thought it would be harder. Goes to show you never know.
A little adventurous getting up the embankment, and fascinating to see how the bridge was constructed, even though it’s falling apart! @ziggiau found it after all the usual spots turned out to be nothing. Hot work in the 40C sun!
Arrived at the bridge to discover the train line well past it’s prime. I’d found caches on train lines before so I started looking in the places I’d found caches before. Fail, and double fail because the metal was really really hot on this near 40 degree day. Stopped to read some logs and then it all came together. A satisfying find and a fave point from me.

Took a different route to my hometown in order to pick up finds in some new LGAs. This was the ninth of eleven today which would cover 8 local government areas, 800km and 12 hours in the drivers seat.
Initially had the wrong idea here but trusting my iPhone led me to find the cache.

A Day on the road , high temperatures & wind that was ferocious. We stopped where suitable with the caravan on.
At Cowra we camped at the showgrounds to find some of the very interesting caches in the area.
We feel we have looked for this one before without any luck, today it took a few minutes to find.
Using the hint helped but it still could be in lots of places.
Thankyou for placing this cache Joshwa27

12 Nov 2019 & 14 Nov 2019 Caching Trips
With these two days free, I decided on getting back into caching after a recent dry spell (apart from the event I attended on the 9 Nov). On the 12th, I headed for Cowra to start the caches out that way. I visited many monuments which some included: the World Peace Bell, Koorawatha Falls, Wynnefield Memorial and the one of the old Railway Bridges. Most caches were quick finds but a couple ended up with DNF’s or NA’s which was upsetting but hay… you can’t find all caches because you need things to do next time you’re in the area. There were many different types of hides and locations which made it a very enjoyable day out. On the 14th I headed down over the border into Victoria to hit the ‘S’ series trail which has been on the to-find-list for who knows how long now. I headed straight for the far end of the trail to start so I would finish at the closer side to the other caches on the list to find. This ended up being a solved Mystery cache finding day with a couple of Trads along the way. Also while I was in the area I couldn’t say no to visiting, the ‘Ettamogah Pub’ and ‘The Henty Man’. TB visit on all found caches. I would like to thank all CO’s of the caches I found and for allowing them to bring enjoyment to me and the rest of the caching community. TFTC’s

Tftc. Got the elevation quickly, as Mrs Jaybeem took one look at the blackberry jungle down low and refused to enter, so up we went.
Thus one took a while to locate, as we were thought it may have been a different camo, but no. I sat down and said there it is, signed log and replaced. Thanks to Joshwa27

Heading west to the York Peninsular where we will join Team GBS and complete more than 400 caches in a day.
As a part of a personal challenge we are also makeng sure we cache in 2 central NSW Council Regions we have not cached in. After today we have 3 on the north side of Sydney and 3 in the central north of the State.
This took a while to find as we thought we knew what it would be.
Visited trackables.

This was the first cache of the day on an epic road trip day. I wonder how many kilometres we covered? We sure covered a large swathe of LGAs.

Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX (aka FATZ) went on a Saturday Windmall Wander to pick up waypoints for the Great Aussie Icon Hunt #3. Along the way, we picked up good DT caches, caches in new counties and Ausmer/Jasmer caches.
After reading the hint, we went there...probably a bit too much! We readjusted altitude and commenced more searching, until methodical checking revealed the hide. TFTC Joshwa27

After a long hiatus, we decided to get the (geocaching) band back together and head out on a day mission before it gets too hot and before the silly season starts! The band is FATZ - Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX. For this mission, we decided to focus on the waypoints for the Great Aussie Icon Hunt - SYD to CBR, but doing the waypoints in reverse. Along the way, we also focused on grabbing some new counties, interesting DT combinations and a couple of JASMER caches thrown in for good measure. A very long day with a very early start, but with good buddies a lot of fun.
Unless otherwise stated, caches were found in good condition and in accordance with any hints.
This cache: found after a bit of a search both high and low. Tricky find but TNZ managed to ferret it out from its hiding place.
Thanks Joshwa27 for the cache and the fun!

Fox in Jox, AngelG27, ZQX and I (Team FATZ), left Canberra at 6am, to do wps 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 of Great Aussie Icon Hunt #3, picking up a cache in each county on the way. Where possible we found high d/t or old caches. We arrived back home just after 10pm, after an enjoyable and productive, but tiring day.
This was our Cowra find. It took us a few minutes of seaching before I noticed a familiar sound. TFTC.

Very excited to be on the road heading to the Queensland Muster in Barcaldine caching all the way. With plans to catch up with family and fellow cachers in NSW first we headed up through some uncharted areas seeking out great locations with a variety of different hides.
Leaving it for the fit Triton to access GZ with his torch as it was dark by now he scrambled up the embankment and started the search. With a punt on where the hide could be located it took approximately 10 minutes to reveal the cache.
Thanks Joshwa27 for showing us this railway bridge relic.

Cowra - a town with a fascinating if somewhat black history.
We stopped here on the way home from the Geo Muster, to learn more of the history and find some of the many caches showing on our geo-map.
Off to a great start, with this one quickly in hand and no recorded find since April 2017! Sadly our enthusiasm waned over the afternoon, with a number of DNF's and caches in need of maintenance.
Thanks 'Joshwa27' for placing caches in the area.

Fitzy_1965 and I headed back out to Cowra today to pick up his car after it broke down here on a caching mission last weekend. Geo-kids GSC2000 and Stardust2410 where with us and signed logs.
With two geokids in tow, we all picked a spot and started looking. 5 minutes later I changed tact and came up with the find straight away. Great hide.

14088. Found with minniek, GSC2000 and Stardust2410 during a short re-visit to Cowra collecting my now repaired Geomobile !!
Time to collect my car, so off we went for the short and very familiar run up to Cowra where by chance we had some time for a couple more caches ! This was the next find for me for the day. The 4 of us searched for a fw minutes and then minniek came up with the find. Nicely hidden ! Signed the log, returned the cache, and off we went to the next one.
Thanks Joshwa27 !!

**# 16720** Found on the start of our 2017 winter escape trip.
A top day for a drive around while at Cowra for a short stopover.
And another nice autumn day with not many muggles around.
The main mission was the Harry Potter series and a few others as well.
Thanks for the cache Joshwa27,

As always we were finding that our progress towards Orange was slower than expected due to stopping for caching along the way, but still I couldn't resist a cache with 'railway' in its name. This took us a little while, trying the different options that I think others have explored. But Mr Winglen had it fairly quickly once we were on the 'right track' !! Thanks Joshwa27. A favourite for this quaint and historic location.
Found at 12:06:00 PM
This took a little while, but thankfully I could search in peace and be methodical. I developed an idea of what I was looking for and tested out each one that moved, but was proven wrong. Eventually I moved up the tracks a bit and found something which I thought might be a second option. Four of the first option are now in a pile.
Thanks *JOSHWA27*

First I went to the wrong side of the creek. I corrected that and once I arrived at GZ I found it almost immediately. But I could see on other occasions this could take awhile. The trickiest part was descending and I left a slide mark down the embankment and gave my jeans a muddy behind. TFTC *JOSHWA27*.
Orange trip April 2016. I was happy to see a new bunch of caches in Cowra since I was last past. I spend some time doing as many of them as I could. This area has become run down like so many old rail areas.
Thanks.

I remember playing cricket at the park across the road when I was a kid although the grass was never as green as it is now. A slightly tricky hide but we got it eventually. Thanks for the cache
Bit of exercise and grass with AESPL. Good find not so sure bout the execution going back down. Lots of amusement & momentum to be had. TFTC.
Plans were put into place with one party of the FurfacesLL team to do a country drive and pick up some caches in Yass, Cowra, Young and surrounds. We made plans to set off early and headed North for a long day of caching. After finishing off Yass, we headed further north.
We made the scramble, and we were reading previous logs. Just as we were about to commence the search, FFLL came out with "Oh here it is" LOL typical hahaha made nice easy work of this one [:p]
Log signed, cache replaced and on we went.
Thanks for the cache placement *JOSHWA27*

After our busy period with the animal minding business slowly coming to an end, a plan was hatched with Rapidlywild for an assault on the caches around the region. The weather was kind, warm and overcast.
We stopped in Yass to commence this assault and then moved further north to Cowra.
Thought this one was going to take longer than it did. Quick find at GZ then off we went again.

Hi there Joshwa27. We found your cache "Railway Bridge" at 9:20:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 11995.

We arrived in Cowra yesterday and decided that the nice sunny days would be great to make a dent in the local 'caches. We started off at a random cache and then navigated to the one the GPS said was next closest, and so on. We ended up logging 10 and DNF'd 6.
[/Blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
Cache Condition: The container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

I had one last spot to visit before leaving COW-ra this morning
Ye olde Railway Bridge
I found a parking spot and wandered in through the long grass.
Not many places to hide a cache in troll territory, so up I goes
A much more promising cache hiding location !!
(Try saying that fast, three times !!)
Up there by the rails, I poked around for quite a while.
No caches found yet !!
What was that clue again ??
I tried 'mooing' as suggested, but that only made a nearby cow look at me [:o)]
A short while later, I felt something not quite right with the world.
A familiar, silky smoothness, that didn't belong in this well weathered location.
Aha !! A cache
That was fun, and to finish off, I tumbled down the embankment with a grin on me dial

We had some time off work this week and decided a drive might be nice, randomly ended up in Cowra...
We parked nearby and headed towards the old tracks, Mr Stormcatcher overshot and checked out the bridge while miss Stormcatchers instinct had the cache quickly in hand. Loved the old tracks and bridge. TFTC
