After a training run from Dromana Visitors centre to Seawinds thought I would take Geo dog for walk and a cache. Cool day so beach is empty
Out and about with omegaman, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles. This is one of the caches found today. Thanks pimpmyballoons for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - LurkFirst To Find: 190Sidetracked Cache Finds: 141It was awesome to be out caching with my buddy Rebel Acts. We got an early start to maximise the day.As always, it was a great day of caching. Here's one of the caches we found. Thanks for the cache!
After a little taste of the 2 bays trail, I started the slow rd home, and the weather was perfect to pick up a few cache along the way. It is so much easier to fossick around when no one is around. TFTC
TFTC! Took us a while to look in the right area. Log was pretty full, so added a new log sheet rolled inside the old one.
Searching in the wrong spot for quite a while. Previous finds helped with this one
Done. Not overly a lot of trouble. Searched the typical spots in area and was on hand. Cheers
27 April 2024 @ 11:38amCaching buddy:MummacarolReasonably quick find on a quiet morning. Thank you pimpmyballoons for placing and maintaining this cache. I've enjoyed finding it.Tftc

Our for an early morning cycle grabbing a few unfound on route. Id been here sometime ago without luck and pleased to make a quick find this morning, quite obvious, I wonder why I missed it before . Thanks for sharing this location PMB #2678
Such a beautiful beach close by GZ and a quick little find after a stroll down the beach. TFTC.
Out with DaisyRunner to find a few caches, this was the first. Took a little searching but was soon in hand. Lovely area. TFTC
Found with LittleBoss2 after a game of golf at The Valley. Took a while but e got there. Thanks for placing and maintaining
Found with Boginghazy whilst having a weeks getaway in Rye. Thanks for placing the geocache
The one cache that the kids allowed us on our trip back to Geelong this afternoon, after a fish and chip further along the beach. Found relatively quickly by @RikkiJayMudd. Cache container getting worn away by the elements, but all seemed in good condition inside. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful place pimpmyballoons.
Found it with the Mudd crew while taking the long way back from Sorrento this afternoon. This is a gorgeous stretch of beach. Can understand why it is so popular.
This was a quicky at 12:15pm with Eudes as we continued our walk along the Bay Trail.thanks pimpmyballoons
This was the last GC cache on today's walk along this section of the Mornington Peninsula coastline. Thankfully Al had the hide sorted quite quickly at 12:15 and we were soon on our way to catch the main group. TNLNSL, although our BYO pen geocoin had a visit to mark the occasion. Thanks -Lisette- (now adopted by pimpmyballoons).
Salt air working away on the container slowly. Are these the only two bathing boxes with mains power conneced!
I was stuck searching the fallen tree for a minute but found with the help of the gallery. Deceptive hide
Unfortunately this one took me a couple of minutes but was very pleased once I had the cache in hand.I love a micro cache and so got very fixated on the tree lol.Flying solo today! TFTC
There were lots of muggles enjoying the unofficial long weekend - Melbourne Cup. Stealth was required
Lots of options here. Had a quick look in what I thought were the most obvious places, but with no luck. Time to attack this a little more methodically. This proved to be the rewarding approach. TFTC
Out for an early summer beach visit with geopartner and we made this our turn around point for our walk. All okay at GZ
Out for an evening walk whilst overnighting at the Don Bosco camp.
Initially thought there were an infinite number of hiding places for a micro, but the gallery narrowed the search and soon the cache was in hand.
Quite a challenge to retrieve the logbook but got there in the end!

An easy find early on King's Birthday morning (that still sounds weird). Down here for the weekend at our holiday house in Dromana. Rough water and cold wind but no rain, and still there was someone swimming. Very brave!
Now off to get the coffees for the sleepy heads.

Back in the Mornington Peninsula after 6 years!!! Staying in Safety Beach for the weekend to relive old memories. Decided to wake up with the sun this morning and walk down to Dromana.
Got to GZ and after a brief check found it pretty much straight away!

Took us a while after looking at the wrong tree but eventually it was spotted
Found but never had a pen to sign. Will describe cache and hide if needed. TFTC
Currently holidaying on the Mornington Peninsula and the weather today was atrocious. Cold, wet, windy, rain, rain and more rain, more like a winter's day than 10 days from summer. After spending the morning at our accommodation, we headed out late afternoon to fill up the geo4WD and we picked up this nearby cache as well. There was a lot of options at GZ to hide a cache which we searched without luck. Mrs. Pooky widened her search area and soon had the well-hidden cache in hand. A quick sign of the log and we were on our way as the rain started to come down again. TFTC.
Had some free time on a weekend in Rosebud so thought we could grab some caches. Braved the rain and wind to grab this one. Gps ws out by about 5m. TFTC
Nearly gave up but knowing it was found recently spurred me on. A beautiful day so I had to stop several times as people passed by. Widened my search and soon the cache was in my hand. I dismissed it originally as rubbish but returned to it and found the log book. A great beach which would be very busy on a Summers day. TFTC
Read the previous comment on widening the search. Hubby actually widened his search and soon found it

This was a really hard one to find, nearly gave up but as we were about to leave after 30 minutes I found it Great hide thanks 4 this one ️
2nd attempt to find it but no luck again and was rushed with the geokid being restless..will have to try again next time I'm down this way
Took a while but eventually found it. Not that far off the GPS, maybe 3 metres? Was not the easiest to spot though.TFTC!
The previous comments helped us find this cache as we initially spent our time focussing on the fallen tree, but a neat little find when we saw it! Beautiful area, a favourite to visit
This took me a little while to find. the previous logs helped which advised to stop looking at the fallen tree which I spent too much time looking at.
GPS was a little out but soon had the cache in hand.

Bit of a search and then some more searching! Finally had cache in hand!

After wandering around some back beaches, my muggle friend and I came over this way where I had mentioned there was a cache in the past. She said she'd tried to find it after I pointed it out to her but didn't have the app. So today we came over and narrowed down GZ better and soon had our hands on the cache.
My pen wasn't working very well, so I marked the log book with AM instead of my full caching name.
The sunset from here was absolutely stunning and we spent a good 40 minutes watching it from the deck of a beach hut nearby.
Thanks for the cache!

First find on a drive out to the peninsula where I could listen to the new Eddie Vedder album interrupted. It finished right on time, at a breathtaking location in a breathmaking container. tftc
Finally early this morning I could stop in here without people being around. Driven past many times knowing there was a cache here but there were always people swarming the area. Luckily at 5:30 it’s very quiet here. Arrived at gz and thought finding a micro with this many options of where it could be hidden made me think I could be in for a long search but luckily I found it in minutes.

Heading down the Mornington Peninsula to visit family, I thought I would knock off work early and collect a couple of caches and enjoy the beach. This was 1 that I had targeted.
Very exposed area, but after taking a few photos, I started my search ignoring all the cars. Spent too long looking at the fallen tree, before something else caught my eye. Pleased to say I then found it pretty quickly.
Thanks for the cache -Lisette- and Pimp My Balloons

There is a large tree that looks freshly fallen.
Not sure if we just missed it or if the tree has fallen and covered it up

Looked in grass around tree but no luck.. my 4 little gnomes left me to it and ended up with itchy arms and no cache

Thank you Lisette for your cache, I hunted around for some time when I surprised a small lizard that was basically sitting on the cache, great area, lots of muggles who had no interest in me. Thanks again.
