TFTC. Easy walk on a pleasant day.Container may need replacing before winter hits.Introducing a new friend to the fun, I think she's hooked!
Our first Geocache!! Getting us into the swing of things. Lots of fun to search for )
Parked up and made the walk into this one, searched the obvious spot and the cache was found Today Courtneyrose_ and I headed to Williamstown and Mount Crawford for a day out to find some caches unfound in the area. Thanks for the cache
It was time for Tuesday Trekking, It was a lovely sunny day, for the trio to go trekking.
Our plan was to meet at Para Wirra, and trek the trails.
There was a lot of trekking up and down the tracks.
The trio found all the targeted caches, before having lunch at the helipad.
Then after a short rest and lunch, we set off for more caches.
This was our last cache for the day. My legs were not up to anymore walking.
A quick stroll and quick find. Tftc

Today I joined S.A. Sewer Rats and Ttrogg for a Trekking through Para Wirra on a beautiful winter day with clear skies and temperature in the low twenties. There was a helluva lot of up and down along the tracks as well as some serious off track navigation as well We managed to find everyone we tried before stopping for lunch at the helipad. Once the legs had stopped aching what did we do - more trekking up hill and down dale to grab even more caches. More than 10 km walked today but it was worth it.
One final cache for the day as I don't think my legs will take much more. [^] A quick find in the first place I looked at GZ.
**SA’s Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING**
***Thanks sirchers for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Putting this in for yesterday. Looks like someone has swapped it for a new container and sheet of paper.
Nice easy track walk to GZ. Tftc

Realy quick and obvious find. I feel like this cache needs to be harder to find, because of how easy it is to locate, my sister got very bored and she NEVER gets bored.
Anyhoo, TFTC.

A very burned section opposite cache. Log is wet but managed to leave my mark.
Thanks sirchers for the hunt.

What a lovely day to be out and about. Shandyk and I headed out to grab a few close to home. Thanks for bringing us out here. Signed the log as Gush.
Our time at Gawler Gateway is drawing to a close again. Peeked at the Geo map and decided to tackle some caches out towards One Tree Hill. Lots were just too far for us to walk today, not so hot but quite humid. Short walks were attempted but no long ones. Then back via a few caches we had somehow missed in the past.

A quick find whilst finding some caches nearby. I’ve removed the beer bottle that was beaconing the cache’s location.
** alert **.
Active hive 50m from GZ if you’re coming in from the northwest on the Pink Gum Track.

We'd been up here 2 weeks before and checked out the new campsites, noticed the Tree Creeper Loop as we parked at the back gate (only 3 parking spots). So we needed to get out and so we went for a walk with the cache determining the direction to start from
GPSr had us off in the bushes but then thought no it's going to be nearer the track and more obvious, yep that's spot! Signed the log and left one of our unique glow-in-the-dark Pathtags.

Found the park on a night time drive a few nights ago. Came back with some of the family and geopups for an explore. This park will be great once opened again. Cache in great condition. TFTC

This cache was a delight after the soggy adventure at the first cache we did, Parrots in Paradise and the dnf we had, thanks to the Parrots on another nearby cache. Enjoying the lovely scrub and wild flowers as we made our way to the cache. Thanks sirchers.
Quickly found after a short stroll with CPwanderer, CrackedChelle and Aussie Mary.

Embarked on a northern cache mission with Mr Froghoppin today to see what we could find around Humbug Scrub.
Somewhat of a fitness trail too

Oops - forgot to log this! Found quite a few weeks ago I think I was the next after Red Ronso (cahcing isn't so much about the numbers for us, but rather it is about going to interesting places or places we enjoy walking) . Thus, we went for an early evening stroll with geo-daughter to get this one. First time she has navigated to a cache all on her own so she was a bit excited seeing us getting closer and closer to GZ on the smartphone. Lots of birdlife at sunset time around here and the wildflowers were looking very pretty too - some lovely delicate pink grevilleas in flower. Nice to see a new cache on this side of the park - TFTC sirchers
Tea was cooking when new caches rolled in.
I almost didn't venture out but when muggle partner said 'I've turned the frying pan and grill off, I'm coming too' that was it and out we headed.
I'd said to him that The Shattells will probably have the first cache found by the time we get there and I was right!
So we ventured off to this other new cache and to ensure safety in numbers in the dark, we arranged with ttrogg to meet him there.
Knowing that it was free entry all through September in this park, knowing that we would leave nothing but footprints and not hearing any gunshots from night time
hunting, we went for a beautiful stroll in a beautiful place while enjoying the beautiful peace and quiet..broken only by the noises of animals of the night.
I have no issue with paying fees to enter this place and have paid my $10 for a one hour walk to find a particular cache, when I had to race against park closure time in order to get Harry out.
A quick find in the first place that ttrogg looked and a joint *FTF* for us.
Thanks for bringing us back out to this awesome area.
