I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

Hi zboy wonder

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

Went hunting for this but due to previous logs, wasn’t really expecting to be successful. Sure enough. Searched likely places just in case, but maybe CO needs to do a maintenance run and either reinstate or archive this one.

Found this one after looking in the wrong place at first. No muggles around for our sortie. Changed the looking area after reading one of the logs. TFTC

This was a quick and easy find by Tall64 while I was looking in completely the wrong area. It happens that way sometimes. Thanks for the puzzle and for the cache.

A quick and easy find. The station was almost reserted. Last North Island cache for this holiday. Cheers

We are on our way back south now. A quick trip, so not much time for caching. Though we did have some time while waiting for the ferry, so we filled in the time quite nicely thank you. Signed the log as Ms+Mr KR.

Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

I made a special trip out here just to find this cache during my lunch break today. I caught the 12.32 train from Wellington to the nearby station. I figured I would have enough time to find the cache and get back to the platform by the time the same train was on its way back to the City. I was right! I had plenty of time.

There was a cleaning crew working in the area while I was there but, as luck would have it, they moved about 100 metres away so I could search in peace.

The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.

Thank you

We are caching around Wellington today, ahead of the Pre WENZ event this evening, concentrating on picking up solved puzzles. We solved all these Tickets Please puzzles in mid 2016, so we're pleased to finally get to pick some of them up. Khandallah was the first of them for us. The hardest part of this one for us was finding somewhere to park the campervan. Ended up with a bit of a walk, but made a quick find once at GZ with no one around. TFTC

I am on a solo geocaching trip. I flew in from Christchurch yesterday. My focus today was my visit to the Dutch Embassy yo renew my passport. Once that was done it was back to geocaching. Concentrating on the Geo art and anything else that grabbed my attention.
It took a while for the muggles to go away.

Sadly there is no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. I plan on going to the OzGeomuster in July. To find out more visit this site: https://www.ozgeomuster.com.au

Saw the CO sorted this one out yesterday, so made the trip today to turn another sad face into a happy face. Quick find of the new cache, and signed the fresh log. Thanks for the puzzle, the maintenance, and the cache.

GZ has changed, so re-hid a new cache, updated the hint to match the new surroundings, the cache is good to find again

Solved this some time ago, and passing by this evening thought I'd take a look. It looks like there has been some significant landscaping here recently, dug around a bit but no luck. It might have been mulched.

After much procrastination I finally attempted solving this series this morning. Having done so I went to the final this afternoon as I had lunch in Johnsonville. Managed a quick find in a logical place. Everything in order. TFTC (find # 4047)

Found it.
Solved this puzzle earlier in the week. Took a second attempt to solve the puzzle, though I should have attempted this solution path in my first attempt.
All quiet at the gz. Cache coordinates were accurate enough, then cacher instinct kicked in. I found it ammusing this was probably the first puzzle cache it searched for, not understanding the position of the blue questionmark is not the final coords... Amateur mistake.
Second for the day, needs a quiet (not sunny) Wellington weekend for minimum muggle interference.

If my memory serves me correctly, this was the first cache in this series that I searched for; it turned out to be the last that I found! On my earlier visit soon after publication, I found myself being encouraged to go to an unlikely spot. Thinking I had done something wrong, I retreated only to later discover that the coordinates could be up to 15 metres (for some people) out. I don't know why it has taken me so long to return - I didn't even have it in my plans today but found myself driving past, so I stopped. The treasure was covered better than I expected it to be but I soon tracked it down.

19-Aug-17
Solved this series when first getting into caching, and seem to remember took a while to get into. Quick find today while awaiting train, appropriately enough. Cheers zboy wonder.

09-Apr-17
Solved this puzzle - along with the others in the series - back in October, but it has taken until now to stop by and take a look. Not a soul around at this hour of Sunday morning, so I could search uninterrupted. Despite the GPSr pointing me 15m off in an unlikely direction, it was a quick find in the first place I looked using cacher's intuition (for once it worked for me!). TFTC!

22-Mar-17
Thanks for placing these caches

06-Feb-17
I came back with a different mindset about how this was hidden. I had to wait a while until a train came and collected the muggles during which I explored some possible other places before I could head to where I really wanted to. After the train went, I quickly found the cache where I thought it might be - a place I did, in fact, check last time but because I wasn't looking for a buried cache I didn't see it. I tried getting some averaged coords while I was signing the log but the GPS still only had a low confidence after 2 minutes and while those coords match up with Google Earth better it was only 5m from the puzzle coords after all. TFTC.

Day 15 of our North Is trip spent in Wellington and Lower Hutt. I had a list of solved puzzles to find plus I wanted to do some maintenance of a few of my own hides in the Hutt.
I have solved all the puzzles in the series, so it was good to be in the area to look for this one. All quiet on a Saturday morning, and found by StreetWalker after a short search. TFTC.

#13882. We had no tickets, but did manage to locate the cache. TFTC.

03-Feb-17
I put misguided faith in the GPS for this and couldn't find it near GZ. It was all the more mysterious because I haven't DNFd one in this series before (tried and found 6 so far). Actually the hint should have told me I was at least 10m from where I needed to be but I don't think I looked at it on site for some reason. Unfortunately, because it's a puzzle cache, we the visitors can't publish the coords we find find the cache at. The CO has to check it upon receiving reports that they might be off.

18-Dec-16
Solved ages ago now, and I've found a few of the series, but it was nice to be able to tick this on off. I hope the muggle across the tracks was disinterested in what I was doing as she looked. Otherwise all was good with the cache. TFTP & another dot day filled in,

Cache # 3,350 - Had an after performance cast party, ending well after 1:00 am, and heard that rain was due later in the day so decided to grab a cache on the way home. Since I suspected this one might be a muggle-central cache (and it would be during the day) I swung by here about 1:30 am. No one around initially, but had someone walk by soon after I began my search, waiting for a taxi. Initial pass came up empty-handed but a more thorough second look found the nicely placed cache. All good. TNLNSL. TFTC!

I'd found the Wellington puzzle in this series without trouble, but this defeated me for a long time. Something Mrs Bottle said in an unrelated conversation about a point of reference triggered a thought and a frw minutes later I got the green tick and set off for the cache (which I overthought and made much harder than it is...). after looking for this two weeks ago and not finding it then getting home and realising it was disabled , back in the area today and found it in exact place I thought it would be. Thanks for replacing. First of the series I have actually picked up although most of the others are sitting on a solved pile. Now onto the others. Thanks for the cache.

#428 this one had us for a little, thinking we needed to do some bush bashing. Investigated the likely spot and was a quick find. Have taken Night Racer TB and looking at taking this to a night cache since its glow in the dark ! Tftc.

Found in the rain between scheduled Muggles.

Second one logged in this series and another easy find - once allowing for the muggle factor. All in good order, nice and dry and nicely concealed.

Perfect for a weekday 'Dot Day'.

With the big tick from geochecker, SJT_NZ and I knew we would need to pick our timings on this one, a windown of opportunity appeared between trains and with more rain people weren't keen to dwaddle. In, shake those leaves about, log and get out. No train spotters were attracted during the logging of this cache. TFTC

12-Dec-15
Solved after publication, but was troubled with the coordinates being in the middle of the tracks, and had a failed attempt. Saw the updated puzzle and got a more reasonable solution, in an area that I had checked, but obviously not checked more thoroughly. All quiet today when I pulled up and found quickly once I got my hands dirty. TFTC

#7193. Solved the puzzle some time ago, and today we went for a nice walk in Khandallah after the rain. GZ was all quiet when we visited. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Did a spot a CITO afterwards.

This was the first one I attempted to solve but had no luck for reasons (excuses?) I gave in another log in the series so I won't duplicate them here but now have it sorted.

A quick find thanks to the indications in previous logs that coordinates were out, not that I would have dared go to the exact solved ones anyway! These really need to be fixed as two in the series have final coordinates that come out as being on railway property. I forgot to send the averaged coordinates for the other one to the CO so will catch up with that shortly, for this one I made a measuring error so cannot do so. I suspect in view of the short distance that not many digits would need to be changed.

Cache had little or no cover so I fixed that. There was a muggle in the area busy talking on her phone, as she appeared to be going to catch the same train I wanted to I didn't want to wait her out, but fortunately she was at the other end of something so I was masked from her view.

TFTC.

I solved these all the other night, and stored for when i was next in the area - which happened to be today. A nice quick find, although like the previous finder, the coordinates put me in the middle of the tracks. I figured that wasn't where the cache was, so used by cacher's brain and soon came up with the goods. TFTC Wink

I was beginning to think I'd need a monthly pass for this one....eventually solved (with a nudge), but the coordinates put me in an unsuitable spot (but in a fairly likely general area). So, I decided to go and see if I could find a spot or two that matched the hint, and comments in other people's logs. Eventually tracked down 6.5m from where my phone said it would be, and very well concealed. TFTC - now to see if I can track down the others in this series whilst they are still new enough to use for the DGSc challenge I'm (very slowly) working on.

I called here on the way back to Wellington from the Hutt Valley this afternoon. I had solved all these puzzles very soon after publication so I had the coordinates ready to go. The coordinates for this one were about 13 metres out for me but there were only a few likely locations and after waiting for one or two people to move on, I found it quite easily. Signed log, TFTC

Happy Days. FTF @13:24. Well to honest I was getting nowhere trying to solve the puzzle. All my ideas were rejected, and the locations I was working out were in a spot way above the given terrain rating. Any way I had to go into town for an appointment so I left a few minutes early to check out where I thought it might be and WAHOO there it was in the third place I looked. Signed the nicely headed up log sheet and headed off with a smile on my face from ear to ear. Cheers and TFTC

#1284. 2TF at 1815h. FDF. Sweet. Mrs GSEL is a genius. I was working from home today and saw this notification at midday when I stopped for lunch. I tried like crazy to solve it. All the ideas I had came to nought so in frustration I put it aside and went back to work. When Mrs GSEL arrived home, I got her to look at it and we tried a few different options but still no luck with the geochecker. Finally she had another idea which we tried and my eyes nearly bugged out when I saw the "success" on the geochecker. So it was out the door and off to find the cache. A short wait was needed for muggles to move on from the GZ then found it in the second place checked. Signed the nice new dry logbook and then home for dinner. Thanks for the cache.
