This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. Really bummed as hoped to introduce a friend to the world of geocacheing, and get a walking distance cache and my first qld cache. But was put off by 2 DNF.

After waiting for the worlds longest came train to pass, we parked and I made a quick find. Log is full.

Quick find from geohubby on our way back from Finch Hatton. Log signed and full TFTC

1/7/17 135pm Searched and Searched Eventually found cache container on grass near fence. Signed log we hich is almost full. Returned cache to where I believe co-ordinates are and sent ingo to cache owner. TFTC SL TNLN Phoyo of log for proof of find

Hi there cache me up - this cache was a quick find for us today after leaving Cape Hillsborough and stopping in Mirani. The cache and log is in good condition - SL. This is our find #4840 - thanks to cache me up for this cache.

Found at 1:03 PM GAFF1in the company of Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder.
There was a group of council workers looking over to see what we were doing and we were looking at the council workers wondering why they weren't working
An interesting hiding method that we have not seen before!

Like others before me, it took longer to find than it should have. But it ended with a smilie, so all good. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache cache me up. SL as SG, which is how I sign micro caches.

Since I've been travelling to and from Dululu each weekend and not explored my place of birth I decided to take advantage of the rain and check out the Valley. This Cache I found on the way.
This was a quick find thanks to my height though was not the first or second place I looked. I was thankful not to stand in the rain too long . Was out in the open so tucked it away out of this weather. Log isnt full but getting close. Another 5 maybe and it will need refilling.

Decided to check on a cache we had hidden nearby to see if it was still there and collect but it seems it had been taken. oh well you grabbed the spot while I dithered.

We found the cache in an area we didn't expect, a bit dog nearby was baking at us so it was hard to to attract a little attention.

Found in the last place we looked . Some workers nearby who had recently mowed the grass. They didn't seem to be particularly interested in us though. TFTC!

On the way from Airlie Beach to Eungella Nationalpark we made some stops to search for some geocaches. This was one them we found.

My first Road Trip with my mum and my Teen-Geo today from Mackay to Eungella to kick off 2016. We’d mapped out the ones we wanted to visit today and lucky for us we didn’t score a DNF. It was my mum’s first geocaching trip and she loved it (even finding one on her own!).

The search took some time and in the heat of the summer sun the search became un-fun quickly for the roadtrip crew. Thankfully I spotted a possibility, bang! SL. TNLN. TFTC. Back to the air conditioning.

drove out to this one lovely spot to have the war memorial the GPS bouncing a little waited for a bit then walked around looking at spot where it could be the i looked in the right spot and bingo there it was staring me in the face sneaky hide but fun

We probably could've got FTF on this one if we'd been a bit quicker because we could see this spot from our caravan where we were staying for a few nights! TFTC
