Sadly the original photo looks nicer than the current view. More dunny paper in and around the bushes than the ladies loos on grand final day. Or maybe someone took their covid panic buy out for a drive in the bush. No luck with the find.

Filled it up and us too - had breakfast here!!!
Mr Beetle couldn't work out whether it was a Holden or a Ford station wagon. Reckons the fire that burnt here must have been fairly intense as the gear box casing was all melted but the gears were there for all to see.
Thanks.

After a lot of planning, geoson Xpert_Cacher and I are off on a camping road trip up north. 8 days of driving, exploring, Geocaching and camping in swags. The plan has us travelling nearly 5000km grabbing plenty of caches and crossing off a pile of LGAs.

Day 4 - After doing a bit better than we planned yesterday and making it to Newman, our day started with grabbing a few caches around the mining town. We then headed to Karijini and then onto Tom Price for the night.

Xpert_Cach3r made this find. Got our first real taste of spinifex here.

Kyzabra SVKR_WA found your cache FIFO # 5 - Your Chariot Awaits today at 09:43:05 23 Apr 2018.

I am happy to have found it and thank you for placing it and adding to this great game.

This find brings my find count to 3001

After having a great time in Karijini it's time to go back south-westwards to Perth! We plannend 2 days of long driving. Part I is from Karijini to Meekatharra (today). Part II from Meekatharra to York! Were we have planned 3 nights for exploring the Avon Valley! Of course we logged some caches to make the long way back enjoyable. Some caches were on beautiful spots. Thanks again to all the co's for placing!

Greetings from the far Belgium!

**Individual log:**

Continuing my journey north and I stopped to pick this one up at 13:05 today. A nice easy find, Coordinates spot on (although GZ is pretty hard to miss) and a helpful hint. Container is in excellent condition (never seen a gold one before) and safely tucked back into its nest. TNLNSL TFTC Kyzabra.

Day nine of Barnzy12 and Cravo10 adventure to the Northwest of WA, filling out boots with LGAs, rare DT, old caches, and good old fashioned red dirt!

Today we travelled from Karijini National Park to the mining town of Newman via nothing at all apart from a few caches? There wasn't a real lot to see today. We were in a fair amount of pain today after getting a tad burnt lapping up the pools of Karijini yesterday with some German backpackers we had befriended!

We side tracked to come caches along the route which had some great views but weren't feeling game for the T3 plus caches so kept it simple. We cached around town in the heat which was very rough and ventured out to the dam, which was very nice, unfortunately we didn't see any of these famous black swans. We did find some lovely views around town from the various vantage points that the caches and their owners directed us too.

Thanks to the COs for a good days caching around Newman, we skipped a few of the harder ones to get to as we have a big couple of days ahead of us. Thanks

Up early with the sun this morning...I really can't understand why they don't do Daylight Saving up here...so time for a couple of caches before breakfast...and work. After skipping one that was too far from the road and one that I flew past, I arrived at this parking area. There was no one to be seen as I made my way to the "chariot" and started hunting for the cache. Found it without too much trouble and signed the log. As my "chariot" was in a bit better condition than this one, I decided to head back using the one I had came in.

Thanks Kyzabra for the cache...and providing an excuse to take a drive out of town.

We came up to this cache almost unexpectedly and almost missed the turn. Driving in (with the caravn behind) we stopped about 15 mtrs away and walked the rest. The cache was a quick find and both log and container are in good condition. SL - no swaps today. Thanks to Kyzabra for the cache.

This cache has been found with Emjuma57 during our WA roadtrip in august 2016. 5360 km from Perth to Exmouth, Karijini, and back down.
We had a lot of fun geocaching in Australia!! Thanks a lot to the owners for placing those caches even in the most remote places!!
Geocaching allowed us to discover places impossible to find with a book guide!
Greetings from France!!

24-Jul-16
Hi there Kyzabra.

We found your cache **"FIFO # 5 - Your Chariot Awaits"** at 10:20:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 14282.

We are travelling from Darwin to Geraldton via the inland route - Newman, Meekatharra, Mount Magnet, etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed "rest" stop here today, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found this cache around two metres from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Food. (It's not permitted in caches).
**Left:** Smiley Badge

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

I may look like a mine worker in me what used to be a white hilux,
and is now mostly Pilbara Red,
and wandering around in me clothes stained by the same tint,
but I am not Razz

Yet people keep mistaking me for a local and waving at me on the road,
caravanners, and backpackers keep asking me for directions,
and occasionally,
I have to help out Smile

Yep !! Road train driver Phil, needed just that bit of extra muscle on the shifter to get a stubborn bolt undone.
I guess he figured I wouldn't mind getting a bit more Pilbara dirt on me Smile

Well good deed done,
I strolled off for a look at the chariot that awaited ...
... that's going to be a tough restoration to get it running again Big Grin

Thank heavens for clues !!
And after a short peer around the likely hiding area,
a cache was spied Smile

TFTC !!

It was interesting to poke around such an intact object too !!
There isn't much structure to these things when you investigate them from this angle,
and in this state [:o]
Sobering really !!
Especially if you make the connection with what you spend a lot of time hurtling around in at high speeds !! Big Grin

Inertia sucks Wink

Made this my last cache of the day on my trip between Tom Price and Newman. I like caches well off the road and away from prying eyes and felt a need to check out what sort of chariot awaited me. Thanks for this and the other caches on my trip today Kyzabra.

Another trip to Newman today for some truck maintenance, and i was hit with a four hour wait time before the truck was ready . With all sorts of mischief going through my head, i wandered down to our local yard to borrow a vehicle. I ummed and ahhed what to do with my time, but the decision was made to head off and grab this cache and 'Remember our Truckies' further to the west Smile
This one was the second find for me today, and after parking right next to GZ i feared that i may be here for a while Surprised. Thankfully, i noticed there was a hint, so i used it to quickly locate the well hidden cache.
Now ... back to Newman to hide one of my own Wink

The big move from Townsville to Mandurah. Thousands of kms and heaps of caches to keep us entertained.
The second last stretch to Carnarvon has begun. Only one more stretch after that and we have finally made it!

Thanks for providing these great 'roadside stops" Wink

This little newbie showed up on our radar while we were on the way home from Yandeyarra. Great parking spot, plenty of room for the truck if you happened to bring it. Easily found by Mr KDT as I'm a bit of a sook. TFTC Smile
