Hi.
I received an email from the land owner about this geocache.
It reads, in part.
"... this is a private reserve that is not well know and does not come up on any search... I will remove it and dispose of it as it is plastic if unclaimed will end up becoming rubbish and environmentally inappropriate."
I have referred the email to the Victorian review for any necessary action.
Regards.

So disappointed in this situation. Why the 'land owner' did not contact the CO I don't know. Had this one approved seven years ago by the State Gov department when I investigated the origins of the land. Perhaps private ownership has taken hold in more recent times. Good bye to Creswick caches. StA
We found this one quickly at 4.05pm as we turned towards home, so happily signed log and moved on. Thanks for the cache Saint Anthony.
We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC
Spending the day caching with AlexiKatty trying to stay on target for my milestone for the Wangaratta mega in January before we start building her next amazing hide. It's a nice sunny day and beautiful to be out hear again. Very happy to add this smile to my map.

TFTC. Out and about early to avoid the heat. Tackled this on the round about way back to Maryborough. Nice and quick.
Found on the way to a CITO and event in Creswick. Not much to see of the dam at the moment. TFTC Saint.Anthony.
Wow, I never realised how built up in here it is! My GPS sent me on a a little bit of a wild chase and was looking in the wrong tree for far too long! But, re-assessed my position and soon had cache in hand. TFTC, TNLNSL
Found! Found with geo kids today. Cache was hidden a little better than it was found, recent weather may have been the cause. Cache intact and in good order still.

Found by Mary and David at 1340. We wonder who Mr Mendham was? Quite a little community out here. Very dry, and our feet crunched as we walked. Plenty of bird songs though. Our thanks to Saint.Anthony.
Found this one this morning while grabbing a few caches out the back roads of Creswick, managed a nice straight forward find with this hide today. Nice morning to be out exploring some local bushland, thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache and for highlighting this greta little area.
After an afternoon with Claybol working our way along the CBRR series i was working my way home trying to pick up just a cache or two more along the way.
As this one was so close to the Pollards Lane Y-intersection cache around the corner, it was a no-brainer to have a look for this one. And for me I'm glad i did, i really enjoy visiting these tucked-away reserves, particularly in Spring when the wildflowers are out but it was a bit early in the season for that so caching it is for now.
Credit to you for finding these areas St. Anthony and sharing them with us cachers! Spot-on coords meant a quick find today. Tftc cigc ntnlsl.

Jenno3 and I hit the road for a lunch time cache. We decided to head to this one for a quick find. Contents of container leaves a lot to be desired, bit yuck really. Tftc
Kenare and I did a lunchtime dash to this cache. Ewwww someone spat “it” in the cache. Tftc
Find #1676 for me. Found at 11:55 am on my way to Ballarat with the kids to enjoy the Begonia Festival activities around Lake Wendouree. I was very happy to sneak in a few more Creswick caches on the way down and this was the second. This was a quick find for me today. Both both the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache Saint.Anthony!
Today was the day for another road trip up from Geelong. This morning I was in the company of Na'wal, a very welcome team member indeed. With a bunch of puzzles solved, it was time to collect some smiley faces. We found a great mix of hides, trads, some mysteries and a letterbox as well. We were spoilt with the weather as well, it was a cracker of a day !! Thanks to all of the CO's for some great hides and some brain busting puzzles. TFTC Saint.Anthony
DAB and I had planned a day out caching around the Ballarat / Creswick area. We met early with our geo wheels packed with snacks and plenty of drinks on board and set off to enjoy another brilliant, fun day, exploring new areas. A local dog came to greet us here but kept it's distance. We were going to walk to the dam but it didn't look like much water was about and it was a nice day for snakes. Instead we made a quick find on the cache. Stamped and returned as found.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Saint_Anthony for the cache.
Up here staying with local muggle friends at the nearby log cabin Christian camp. The weather was cold and raining on and off for most of the day. After lounging around staying warm I decided to go out to find some caches and check out the local area. For company JH of the group came with me. At Gz we had a short walk and found the cache straight away. Thanks Saint.Anthony

A fairly cold day for caching in Ballarat, but after a bit of shopping with Bogonghazy, we took Tess the geodog and off we went. We managed to pick an area that both BH and i hadn't been to before.
Tess enjoyed the short walk as the good co-ords led us straight to the cache. Thanks Saint Anthony

A nice but cold day in Ballarat brought Sorceysal and I and Tessie the geodog out for a day's caching. A short walk past the houses but no-one around in the cold wind.
Thanks Saint.Anthony, nice little reserve

Another of your caches turned into a smiling face today. Quietly walked over to the cache as a local nearby was working in her garden.
All good and log signed.

Heading down to Ballart, the long way, crisscrossing the countryside and grabbing smileys on the back tracks.
I had done the mine series and then done the CBRR run now it was just grab as I go. but still crisscrossing the land.
I was a little iffy going past all the houses. quite interesting seeing them all so deep into the bush area.
Thankfully the grab was a quick one.

A nice big cache and a nice quick find today with Motndarg. Thanks Saint.Anthony.
Suscoe headed north of Ballarat to the Creswick area today in the great company of our mate Bushfire.
It was a cool Summer's day with plenty of cloud cover during the morning and as the day went by the sun poked through every now and again. It rained and drizzled early on but even that dried up during the later parts of the day.
We had a terrific time visiting caches and enjoyed the various hides, locations and containers.
This was our 11th find for the day.
A nice quick find here.
Thanks to Saint Anthony for placing this cache here.

As it's school holidays tonight I took the kids to Creswick for a play at the school playground and a quick game of basketball. Naturally we detoured for a cache or two first! I did have Creswick completely cleaned out then a dozen or so more popped up - exciting. I've never explored this part of the back blocks of Creswick before so it was lovely to come somewhere new. A cool little spot and a nice quick find. Many thanks for the cache
Out and about with the family doing a spot of geocaching before the heat set in today. This was a nice quick find after we had lunch at St Georges lake. Thanks for showing me a bit of Creswick I had never seen before. It would be great to come back when the damn down the hill is full to see the wildlife in full swing. Many thanks to Saint.Anthony for the hide.
Wow, we use to have Creswick sewn up as far as caches were concerned , so its great to see so many new ones popping up all around the district. An ideal reason to keep coming back to enjoy the area and get more smilies. In the company of Bushfire and Wozzle68 today we managed finding some high quality finds as well as enjoying some nice food and coffee from the local cafe.
Thanks Saint.Anthony for the placement.
