Due to this being on private land it has to go too!. Same fate as Mendham Dam Reserve. Thanks to owner permission (geocacher themselves) this stayed for few years extra in an alternative spot to the original placement. It's not ideal so easy archive decision. StA
We soon located GZ here, logging the cache at 4:10pm. Then spent some time admiring the changing view with the hills likely to disappear in another year! Thanks for another quick find.
We have headed to Ballarat to attend doctor appointments and in our spare time head out to areas that we have not cached in to find the many geocaches that have popped up in the forest areas. Most of the roads were acceptable, some geocachers were on walking/bike riding section which hubby hiked on and I drove the car and would pick him up along the way. All geocaches were found and were in good condition. SL TFTC
Spending the day caching with AlexiKatty trying to stay on target for my milestone for the Wangaratta mega in January before we start building her next amazing hide. It's a nice sunny day and beautiful to be out hear again. Very happy to add this smile to my map.

Found on the way home after a family lunch in Creswick. Enjoyed the drive around these back blocks. CIGC. TFTC Saint.Anthony.
Wow we had some fun with this one mainly due to the phone gps leading us in a Leyland brother’s tour of the area. But eventually a change of apps and we got it on the nose.
Thanks for the cache

Found by Mary and David at 1345. A nice quick find. Now Mary is humming "Oh Christmas Tree". Our thanks to Saint.Anthony.
Found quickly once in the GZ. the hint was helpful and the cache was OK even though it show I age a bit. TFTC.
Found this one this morning while grabbing a few caches out the back roads of Creswick, managed a nice straight forward find with this hide today. The area was all quiet and I had no troubles with any muggles or passing traffic, thanks Saint.Anthony for the cache.
After an afternoon with Claybol working our way along the CBRR series i was working my way home trying to pick up just a cache or two more along the way.
After another unsuccessful search at Let's Catch A Train ( although i didn't really get to start a search here after a bus pulled up and decided to stay a while so i left!) and a dnf for a nano at the football oval, i headed bush where i hoped for better luck. Thank goodness for a quick find here as it started to drizzle. Thx St A for highlighting another part of this district.

Find #1677 for me. Found at 12:05 pm on my way to Ballarat with the kids to enjoy the Begonia Festival activities around Lake Wendouree. I was very happy to sneak in a few more Creswick caches on the way down and this was the third and final one for today. This was a quick find for me with all good at GZ. There are so many caches around Creswick and still lots more to find but I hope to get them all eventually! Thanks for the little detour on Creswick roads that I'd never been on before Saint.Anthony and thanks for the cache!
Nice hide Sir... Tony ... Seems the dogs at the corner might like come out and get serious, glad they settled eventually.

Today was the day for another road trip up from Geelong. This morning I was in the company of Na'wal, a very welcome team member indeed. With a bunch of puzzles solved, it was time to collect some smiley faces. We found a great mix of hides, trads, some mysteries and a letterbox as well. We were spoilt with the weather as well, it was a cracker of a day !! Thanks to all of the CO's for some great hides and some brain busting puzzles. TFTC Saint.Anthony
DAB and I had planned a day out caching around the Ballarat / Creswick area. We met early with our geo wheels packed with snacks and plenty of drinks on board and set off to enjoy another brilliant, fun day, exploring new areas. We were out of sight from the locals thankfully and made a quick find on this cache. Stamped and returned as found.

Another lunchtime adventure with kenare. We decide to push the distance further to see if we could make it in our time frame......hell yeh not a problem!!! Got this one in the bag and back work with even a 5er to hi-5 ourselves how well we did it. Love the cache and location. Great view tftc
Without breaking any land speed records Jenno3 and I made it GZ, found the cache, logged the cache, returned the cache, took the obligatory photos and made it back to work all on our lunch break! We even had time to powder our noses before heading back in! Yay us!!! I was a lil suprised to see this type of cache, it's been a while since I've found one of those. Cigc. Tftc
Last one for the day, which I might add has been most enjoyable. I feel like I am in the back blocks of nowhere, it is so peaceful. TFTC
We decided to head to Creswick for a spot of geocaching before the bad weather came in.

Nearby neighbor muggles suspicious of geocachers, so I have moved a few meters out of their line of sight.

This area is so open now following logging operations. Accurate coordinates and the only possible hide location in the immediate area led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Saint_Anthony for the cache.
A fairly cold day for caching in Ballarat, but after a bit of shopping with Bogonghazy, we took Tess the geodog and off we went. We managed to pick an area that both BH and i hadn't been to before.
A great hint led BH straight to the container. Enjoyed driving on these back roads today. Thanks Saint Anthony

Heading down to Ballart, the long way, crisscrossing the countryside and grabbing smileys on the back tracks.
I had done the mine series and then done the CBRR run now it was just grab as I go. but still crisscrossing the land.
I came in from the south onto this one. this made for a good view over the cut down plantation.

I plan to make Sundays Skipton cave event my 1000th cache which meant I had 11 more to hit 999 in preparation.
Today we headed to Creswick to meet my goal. Some great finds, some tricky finds and lots of fun had with neisha07, boo09 & chan02.
For some odd reason my phone decided it liked the old co-ords better and had us hunting there. After no luck, I gave the CO a call who kindly set us straight.

The last on our list for today and Motndarg made the quick find. Thanks Saint.Anthony.
Suscoe headed north of Ballarat to the Creswick area today in the great company of our mate Bushfire.
It was a cool Summer's day with plenty of cloud cover during the morning and as the day went by the sun poked through every now and again. It rained and drizzled early on but even that dried up during the later parts of the day.
We had a terrific time visiting caches and enjoyed the various hides, locations and containers.
This was our 12th find for the day.
We located the recently relocated cache quite quickly.
All quiet here today.
Thanks to Saint Anthony for showing us this spot.
