Last one before heading off down Black Range Rd for a few wherigos. Spotted fairly quickly and log signed. TFTC team.wallace
Having to do a pick up in Temora to deliver to Canberra we thought that we would make the most of it and grab a few easy caches along the way.
This one wasn't really relevant for us today as we stayed in Yass last night to finish off the nearby Whereigo and Challenge series so we certainly didn't need a break or a stretch of the legs just yet. The temptation of a drive by is always too hard to refuse so we stopped and grabbed our first for the day.
Thanks team.wallace for the hide.

After a lovely two days adventuring around Wagga Wagga with BarberBlackSheep after our original new year's plans in Canberra got cancelled it is time to head back to Sydney, not without grabbing a few caches, of course.
After stopping nearby for a toilet break and to grab a feed, we collected some of the caches in the service station area including this one which was our 6th for the day so far!
Happy new year!

Found on a caching expedition out to Yass with sebass19: from 9:30am to 7pm, 51 caches! Easily pulled up right next to GZ for a quick find. TFTC team.wallace!
After a difficult Covid 2020, The Rats floated the idea of a trip to Yass with Steeba and myself. We compared diaries, and had a 24 hour mid-week window where we could make things happen.
Thankfully the predicted rain held off, for the most part, and we were able to tour around the region collecting many of the new caches that have appeared of late.
A lot of excellent caches were found, and some fantastic terrain caches too. I was introduced to the concept that all caches cannot be climbed to, it still feels foreign to me!
Thank you to all of the cache owners for placing their hides.
Cheers

To finish off the year The Rats, Hoojar and I teamed up for another caching run down around the Yass area. We certainly had a great 24hr run finding plenty of caches (in some long grass!) The spate of recent hides around this area with five star terrain rating meant we scored plenty of stars with our finds and had some interesting caches. Great area and some great caching. TFTC!
I grabbed a few trads while around the truck stop in Yass...all but one found easily
Took a short break here with ilook4geo and managed to avoid the trucks comin in as well.
Found the cache, signed the log and headed off again. Thanks for this cache go to team.wallace.

Some time to spare on my way out from the Black Range Road FTF adventure.
Quick find, nice cache, all in good order.
Thank you team.wallace for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Looks easy enough we thought as we alighted from the geo beast, but it was the apex of our triangular search pattern before we understood the hint and 131 put his hand on it. The last find for the day thanks to all who hide things for us.
Found by Mumma Bear after a bit of a search - GPS was pointing us somewhere else.
Cheers!
Cheers!
Nice and quick...which is how you want it when you are on a geocaching road trip. TFTC
I took a break, and I found a cache Even had KFC across the road to make this find even more relevant! The break is now done though, and we were about to head back onto the highway for some country road caching.
Thanks
Thanks

Day 3 of our trip, starting in Gundagai, after cleaning out the local map we headed over to Canberra, stopping for a pretty randomly thrown together bunch of caches, with a few gems in there too.
Another quick one after lunch, we're off to check some rocks now.... TFTC!

Grabbed this one on the way back from Young to Canberra. Stooped for some dinner at the nearby restaurants before parking nearby to eat dinner before making the find. Thanks team.wallace.
Found! On a road trip from the Central Coast to Tasmania, making a couple of detours here and there. This was my only cache in Yass, as I'm keen to get to Albury! TFTC, from the Central Coast, NSW
The cut&paste bit: Doing a big road trip from Central Coast NSW to St Arnaud Mega. On my phone so may be slow to log with the full story or add pics etc....
I’m taking so many breaks I might not get to where I’m going lol. Cache easy to find, log a bit worse for wear though. Sign in a spare spot. TFTC

Last minute opportunity arose for a trip to Parkes to assist with an SES course this weekend and being a five-hour journey, it was sensible to take a break from driving every so often. What a coincidence there also seems to be a cache at appropriate intervals
Slowly making our way north again after the Clear Waters Mega in Queanbeyan.
Passing through this lovely town and decided to grab a few caches here.
Thanks for placing this cache team.wallace . We visited this cache at 2:24 p.m..

Caching day with Crank1 on our way home after the Mega event, thank you so much for placing it.
With a bit of time on our hands before having to get to the station, we decided to come here to pick up one more cache for the day.
Although it was not that far off a sunset, we didn't have that much time. Thus, a quick search for the container was undertaken, and soon we were rewarded with a successful find. After adding my name to the log sheet I put things back as found. Then it was time to get back to the station.

Weekend at Queanbeyan during Mega event. Last day in Canberra today before heading home to Melbourne. Just on way home get a latte from McDonalds for a little break and reach this cache. Thanks team.wallace

Day 3 of my trip to the Clear Waters Mega. Dubbo to Queanbeyan, in a round-about way, covering more local government areas. Took a break for just long enough to make a grab. TFTC!
We saw it and wonder what it was we opened it and it brought us into the amazing world of geocaching
Caching in and around Yass, we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We are on our way to Queanbeyan Clear Waters mega event next week and stopped here to locate some caches. TFTC. A very quick find by MrGT54.
Day 2 in Yass region today, doing some shopping and some caching, even managed to squeeze in a good samaritan by taking a local home to Bowning, it would have been a long walk. Mainly caching around town today, taking it nice and easy.

After a coffee stop, drove over to check this cache out, quick find, then a car turned up, we meet the lovely family, chatted for a while before moving on . Thanks to team.wallace
Roadtripping to Armidale with the geofam and stopped for fuel at the service centre. Of course if you're going to stop, then you must get a cache! I was pretty excited to run into some fellow cachers. What are the odds of that? TFTC
I saw someone pull up at GZ just before us & thought I'd have to pick up my daily elsewhere... until they started looking for something along the fence line & I spied a GPSr. Quick find & a pleasant chat with some fellow hunters Hope to see you over Easter! TFTC.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.

A 3 day circuit from Canberra, to Jindabyne, to Khancoban, to Walwa, to Wodonga and back to Canberra to find a few specific high D/T caches, picking up a few others on the way. Now on the homeward leg. Cache soon found thanks to the hint. TFTC.

Another Day of Geocaching

Day 2 of our short break collecting caches for the December souvenir. After looking and failing to find Bedrock, we were glad this one was a bit easier. Thanks.
We are on our way home from our two day break in beautiful Yass. The monthly souvenirs have certainly got us moving and out caching. Many thanks to the COs for their caches.
Today I decided to stay away from PTs so I drove out to Yass to see how many smilies I could add to my tally. I had a fabulous day with no DNFs though at times I came close to walking away from the more difficult finds.
Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches for us all to find. My name has been added to all the logs, though mostly as SG.

Another break and some oxygen and a cache.
Found on a fun loop to the Nation's Capital and back. A stop here added to the enjoyment - this one had been targeted for a while so it was great to stop the dot burning my screen.
Thanks to team.wallace and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

In the area for training with SES and thought i'd take advantage and do a few caches in the area. Parked a little further away from this one then i had planned but soon enough arrived at GZ. After walking backwards and forwards looking for an obvious sign but was not having much luck. Started to feel around and soon enough there it was, appears as though this should be magnetic however was not attached to anything at time of find. TFTC
Out for the day to up my numbers. This was a quick find in goid condition.

A quick find as we pulled up right next to the cache. I spot it from the car.
I jumped out and signed the log for hubby and I.
Log is 3/4 full and paper is a bit soft ... worn but ok condition.
Container good condition.
