Went searching and searching for it, but had to give up on it. A bit too hard going for us. We were also worried about spiders. We found an amazing nest of Red backs underneath one of the rocks.
Clue doesn’t add much. Found out my old iPhone is not up to Geocaching. . Might go back to an old Garmin. Too many potential hiding places complete with Red Backs etc.
There was fine rain about when we approached this one, but fortunately the find didn't take too long so we didn't get wet.
With a poor forecast for weather we decided to stay another day in Yass Rather than travel. We collected a few more caches in town but didn't venture far.
Had a great coffee and cake in a little cafe in town.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache team.wallace.

Quick find, nice location, all in good order.
Thank you team.wallace for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

I brought So out for a party in Yass so instead of driving to Canberra and back it was time to collect some of the caches that have popped up since I last cached in Yass.
The long grass and overcast conditions not allowing the GPSr to settle made this a little harder today but I quickish find in the end - TFTC

Out for a drive with allrounder to have a look at somewhere we can launch the boat for a fish while yass is in lockdown we decided to look at a couple caches where GZ was no where near anyone and out in open. A quick find.

My 500th find!
We were just out exploring and not planning to cache until later, but we all know how long that idea usually lasts.
Have walked the river trail a few times, but hadn't been up top until today.
I've been holding off for a bit, wanting to mark the 500 milestone with a great view. This area definitely delivered on that.
Also cool to find it the day after imgettingannoyed, who I know through Scouts and have been caching with a few times in different parts of NSW.
Cheers!

Found on a caching expedition out to Yass with sebass19: from 9:30am to 7pm, 51 caches! Decided to get this one in the evening so that it wouldn't be as warm up on top of the hill. The views from atop were lovely indeed; such a cool lookout! After admiring for a bit, we dashed down to GZ and found the cache reasonably quickly. It's a very appropriate name for this cache! TNLNSL. TFTC team.wallace!
Probably not the smartest day to be scratching landing on grass ice and hot plenty of snakes I found it and it’s a great look out. TFTC

Probably not the smartest day to come given how wet it was! The grass is knee high and it was completely soaked, so the short walk to GZ meant that my pants also got soaked! Ahhh well at least it wasn't raining when I found it!
Great views of the river from up here, theres a house over to the left that's even higher up and must have a fantastic view!
Thanks team.wallace, needs a new logbook though

Second day in Yass. A great clear and chilly morning. Early Sunday is always a good time for caching and quick progress was made. Great views.

Caching in and around Yass, we picked up a few caches in the area and this was one of them.
An easy find at GZ, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Day 2 of our short break collecting caches for the December souvenir. We were glad this was out of sight of the muggle mowing lawns. He seemed very interested in our movements. TFTC
We are on our way home from our two day break in beautiful Yass. The monthly souvenirs have certainly got us moving and out caching. Many thanks to the COs for their caches.
Quick find with Justjessie as we work towards finding all the Yass caches. Today we did all of what was left on the North side of the main road though town. TFTC.
In Yass with SES for training and was happy to head out with a car full of cachers. TFTC
Down in Yass for the weekend with SES. We headed out after our days training to grab a few caches by night. With a handful of caching buddies we had a good night traversing the area.
I thought we might find Wilson the lost traveler and Tom Hanks here, but no we soon found his offspring.
Thanks

Venturing a bit further into Yass, amazing the views you find. Easy find and thanks for bringing me here! TFTC
Decided to head to Canberra for a NYE event via Yass with my 4 geo-kids in tow. Was happy to pick up some caches that I hadn't had time for before and a few that I had missed.
Wasn't hesitant to head out to this one given the long grass but there was a bit of a path to follow. Easy find once I had tip-toed to GZ.

A few places it could have been, in the end it was found in a spot that wasn't the obvious place.
Cache 2793 on 26/8/17
Darksidedan and I headed out to Yass again to collect a few more caches on a fabulous sunny Saturday morning. We both found around 40 caches for the day - a good haul given we were not in a hurry and headed back to the ACT at lunchtime. Another fun filed day with lots of chatter and birds. If not otherwise indicated, all caches found in reasonable order and in short time.
Found in the first place we looked fortunately!
Thanks team.wallace for the cache!

*Our last day in Yass, in the good company of Suscoe, we concentrated on finding caches within a 5 km radius of the town. That still set us quite a high target for the day. Just as the rain started, we signed our final log - 44/44 smiley tokens!!*
The river was looking delightful this morning
Thanks team.wallace for placing caches, for everyone's enjoyment.

Suscoe and Phetlern were out and about for our last day of caching in the Yass area.
The day started cool and a little cloudy, but it was fine until the last cache was found and then a thunder storm rolled across from the western hills. Great timing we reckoned.
A really pleasant day of town and nearby caching with a good mixture of hides and fun on the way around the roads.
Thanks to team.wallace for this hide, beaut views around this spot.

After a string of caches today that have ended up taking some time to make, the find here was a straight forward find thankfully! Thanks for the cache team.wallace.
Some nice rocky areas here. Like the small boulders at the parking area. Container is nice too. Tftc team.wallace!!!
5431. I popped over to Yass to see the Yass Magpies have a run. Just so happens I had some time to grab a cache or two as well. This one was discovered with out any dramas.

Last full day of this holiday with BettyBoo3747.
We stayed at Jugiong and travelled into Yass for a day's caching. The weather held out for nearly the whole day, with overcast but warm conditions. The rain, when it came, was very welcome.
Interesting information near the rocks at the top.
We could have done with our mower man here - lots of grass seeds!
Really liked the cache container, we were wondering who Wilson was.
Thanks, Robmc.

#11452. The last day of our two week holiday with Robmc. We are staying at Jugiong so this morning back-tracked to Yass for a days caching in the area. A wild and windy day with mainly Micro finds - oh dear! I ended up with 37 smilies and had a couple of DNF's!
A favourite point for the fantastic views from up here. Lucky houseowners who get to see them all the time. We plowed through the long grass and over the rocks until we got to GZ and then it was an easy find as I could see it on approach. Cute container. I left one of my Phryne - Cloche pathtags and now back to the geo-chariot we go.
Thanks team.wallace

Heaps of overgrown grass at the moment. Socks were full of seeds. Stubborn Sue persevered and finally found the cache. TFTC

Oh - we were so pleased that it wasn't in that spiky nasty tree down thee. So putting our hands into possible snake holes was a doddle in comparison
Thanks team.wallace.
Feedback: What an interesting hint! Isn't that where the GPSr takes you to?

River below really flowing strongly, chilly wind prevented much hanging about. Some house building type of activity happening nearby.
Left our Yass accommodation and before breakfast on a great sunny morning decided to complete all of the caches "in town" with higher D/T ratings. Very good views here. Relevant container.
