Sweet-Sour I didn’t find your cache Kings Park on 1/8/2023, 9:55 am. Was driving past, thought I would have a quick look. Nothing found.
Not luck today.
Wasn’t until we arrived that we checked previous logs and a number of DNFs.
Anyway, even though we didn’t find it, it’s such a gorgeous little place.
Thanks for bringing us here.
Will keep an eye on this one and be back if it is replaced or found.

How did the ground in the usual spot. One obvious spot, but for a 1.5 I’m not climb on that high. Maybe just not having a good caching day.

Date and time aren't accurate. Lost the data in a bad import from Geocaching to GSAK
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache **Sweet-Sour**

As we trekked from Gympie down to Cooran, Mrs Gunnie spotted the micro-brewery at this roundabout as we arrived in town. We should pull up for a beer and a bite to eat she suggested. Err, sure, why not I replied. [^]
As we were seated and took the first sip, I figured I would see what icons were in town for when we were done. Huh, there's one over the road... how convenient.
With a meal just ordered, I knew I had time to nip over for a quick hunt, so off I went. On arrival, GZ was obvious, it was just a matter of picking the right spot. I circumnavigated the area and spotted the container peeking out of its lair. I extracted the cache, removed the log for business and when done, returned as found. I added a fraction more camo to ensure it is not quite as visible as it was for me, then I returned to finish what is not a well earned beer. [^]
Cheers Sweet-Sour.

What an odd park.
I have never seen proper large scale multiple bmx jumps in a park, in town before. Wow. How's the public liability with that one. I wonder does it ever get used.
There was a lady relaxing in the shade of this mighty tree when we rolled in, so we rolled back into town to use the facilities, then on our return, she was gone, so i tiptoed over to have a peek and saw it almost immediately upon inspection.
I like these containers. Waterproof like a little geogrenade.
Thanks sweet-sour for placing a cache here breaking up our tredley ride from pomona to gympie.

Surely with a 1.5 terrain rating there is no need to climb the tree? Feeling cache blind or maybe I’m full after a big slice of chocolate cake at the general store.

Drove through town here today and decided it would be rude not to stop and find this cache. It was well hidden and in good condition and we happily signed the log before replacing as found. Thanks Sweet-Sour for placing it that brought us here to admire this lovely park.
Cheers and happy caching!

Catching up on some logging today, so a bit of a generic log, I'm afraid.
I was caching with Snickersallan, Patrol14, hatzofff, E Smiley, grannysmith1947, and TMZ 59, giving rise to the team name of SPREGTH. Although not fully operative yet, I was able to tag along to most of the caches we found. Some Events brought us into this area.
Quick find.
Log signed and cache replaced as found on May 1st 2021. TFTC, Sweet-Sour.

It would appear that I tightened the lid on the cache a little too tight for Alyxyia. Maybe he/she didn't eat enough for breakfast/lunch that day on the 12.02.2021.
Anyhow everyone after has had no problems.
Cheers.

On our way home from a weekend of caching on Fraser Island, triple turmoil and myself decided to grab a few target caches on the way home. This was one that we saw as we passed by it was just because. It was late and a full moon so caching in the dark was the option now as we travelled.
This was fun, as we drove up to the cache we disturbed a young couple who decided to camp out in the park for the night. We chatted and then went on with our task, an easy find and the hint helped; we signed the log and replaced as found, all good with this cache. Thanks for placing this one here, now it was onto the next one of our list.

Still don't know what pigs doI have never had the opportunity to visit Fraser Island. Chamad wanted an adventure. A road trip and I am super grateful that he took me along. We had a 3 day road trip, on Fraser Island, Double Island Point and Rainbow beach, plus a detour on the way home to Brisbane through Gympie, Boreen Point and Noosa. Snickersallen joined us too and it was great to meet someone new, especially someone fun to cache with. So many laughs, frustrations and more laughs. Lots achieved. Some road blocks preventing some wanted achievements, but we enjoyed ourselves anyway. This was day 3 of our adventure, back on the mainland. This section was just Chamad and myself as we made our way back home, caching along the way until well after dark.
Found easily in the dark.

2nd attempt at this cache, first resulting in a dnf as the cache was mia. Located cache but unable to sign as per comments below the lid has been screwed on tightly and was unable to open.

Man it’s a hot day. Camping nearby and thought driving in air con with occasional foray into the heat is a good way to stay sane. Found this one quite easily. Geo son climbed while geodad used his eyes. Tftc
Had the opark to myself and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.
Nice new log and once signed all was returned as found.

Easy find within this lovely shaded park without a muggle in sight. Left a green army person.
Out today doing some maintenance on some of mine.
This one needed a new cache, container and all.
A new container, logbook and cache card attached to the tree, it can still breathe.

Had the best look I could. Unfortunately tree climbing isn’t on the agenda for me today due to a knee injury. I’ll be back once recovered to attempt again.
spent a while looking for this one and even got into the tree but no luck today. loved the view of the mountain though.
Didn’t manage to find this one. We looked all over, and Sour_lemom hopped up into the tree but we still couldn't find it
Found it! not for the height challenged, teamwork of geohubby and geo daughter finally found likely hiding spot. TFTC
Arrived at gz and cache was on full display... great spot.. signed log and tucked out of sight! Tftc

Having fixed up Warrior 10 nearby, thought I'd have a check on this one, as I remembered an adverse comment on a previous log.
Sure enough the log was a bit damp, a couple of reasons, the No1 reason, the container was left on its side, one sure way for water to enter.
Dried the container out, removed the loose bits of paper, nothing I could with the slightly damp logbook, rehid the cache.
All is good. I also updated the co-ords

Storigirls and I were out and about on another caching adventure. What an amazing tree!!! <3 We wandered around in opposite directions, but stortigirls located what was left of the cache (the lid and part of the logbook) before she got very far. I found an eclipse tin in the geomobile and after signing it, we placed the log in this to help protect it. We left the eclipse tin in the hidey hole with the lid of the old container covering it to give it a bit more protection. TFTC
This was a beautiful spot. Selva Girls and I couldn't get over the amazing old tree covered in staghorns and ferns. Gorgeous. We found what was left of the cache- the lid, the front cover of the logbook with the cache name on it and one page of the logbook. We added our names to the page, and then placed the page and the cover into an eclipse tin to protect them (sorry we didn't have a spare log) and sat the tin in the original lid- placing all back into the hidey hole. At least this should stop the cache from disappearing entirely and protect what's left. Thanks for bringing us here Sweet-Sour and tftc!
Art festival was on and there were muggles a plenty, but drove right up to it, could almost reach it without getting out of the car..! quick find, thanks
We were heading home after a cracker of a walk this morning. It was here that one of our muggle teens rang us to let us know they were awake, seriously! We had made the 2hr drive up, done the rock hopping walk, returned to the rock pools for a cool down, found a couple more caches and they were only now dragging their sorry a#%*s out of bed!
As we got out of the car one of the locals came out to see what we were doing, we kindly let him know we were going over to check out the park, that pleased him and he went back inside and left us to our own devices.
Once locating the spot we soon had the cache in hand, along with a new bike…

Drove right up to the tree from the track leading in from below. A quick find after a walk around the tree.
Today's drive took us from Glastonbury Creek to Cooroy, where we planned to spend the night before hitting the Redcliffe Peninsula. Hard to park, easy to find. Thanks SS

19th August 2017 Stopped in for a visit with family to share the art of geocaching. Cache was in a different spot to last time but still concealed. Contained a travelbug that we have picked up for an adventure.
Out for a day trip from Noosa....gorgeous peaceful park. Dropped Gandalf to continue his journey. Tftc
We are over here from Kapiti NZ escaping our winter and seeking some sunshine - we have not been disappointed. This cache was a quick find - not a muggle in sight today. Thanks for placing a cache here.
Visiting the Sunshine Coast area for a few days of caching. Visited many interesting places and found a variety of cache containers. Thank to all the COs for the effort of placing and maintaining your caches.
Up here on the Sunshine Coast for a 3 day weekend of caching. Decided to do as many caches as we could but not overdoing it. Found 80 caches in the 3 days and a big thank you to all CO's. It brought us to spots that we would not probably travelled. TFTC
Nice easy find for us today. Out for a drive after camping nearby. All is well here. TFTC TNLNSL.
Found!
Popped out for a quick bite to eat and thought I'd zip over and grab this one while I waited.. not so fun walking through this park in the dark but luckily no one was around or everyone was watching the footy?? Either way, the cache was a quick find as it wasn't covered very well..
All good here- signed log and hid it a little better.
Thanks for the cache!

Family outing where we got to teach more people about geocaching. Magnificent tree.
A quiet park in Cooran - we could not find any parking at the park, so left the car across the road. It was a surprisingly quick find given that a fig tree was involved. We removed some sticky camo and there was the cache, nice and snug.
GZ was about 10m off for us but the tree seemed the likely spot.

31/12/16 up this way camping with friends and yesterday I had time to go grab some caches. But unfortunately that let me with a number I didn't like. So up early this morning to grab some more and round off the numbers a little. At such an early hour the place was deserted and so peaceful. The coords were a little off for me but thankfully it was in a logical spot with VSPOS as camo. TFTC
On a drive from Gympie to Cedar Pocket then onto Kin Kin stopped off in Cooran moved onto Traveston back onto the highway and back home, took around 3.5 hours. Great afternoon and 11 geocaches found.

Could almost drive to this, my preferred find, gave the BMX track a miss though. Thanks sweet n sour and others for today's finds.
Found it;-) great little cache. Cold and grey in my old home town today, just back for a visit, signed log and swapped some swag. Thankyou.
Having a bit of a glum day... i suggested to my amazing geopartner KaleidoscopeCass that we load up the geotruck and have a day out exploring our new area... while most of the area is old news to me.. its all new for Cass being a Toowoomba girl... and what better way than with a geocache!! So.. after leaving our home at Boreen Point we headed towards Gympie... and whats better than a back road? This cache popped up along our adventure... and after quickly finding it, log signed and replaced so we could continue on our adventure. Thanks for the cache!
