After a great day yesterday riding from Linville to find the final of the UP the BVRT multi i had a great night sleep staying in Yarraman. I left my husband this morning to ride from Yarraman to Blackbutt finding 8 caches along the way ,20kms in just over 2 hours. There were lots of cows on the trail today and i had to slow down to not scare them too much. Had a great ride and I ended up meeting my husband at Blackbutt for breakfast. What a great day to be a geocacher.I ended up finding out that the scare tape on the top of my helmet really does work a wonder. A couple of magpies started to swoop but quickly flew back to their tree. This cache was our last for today. We had a great breakfast at Blackbutt and then a walk around town and on the way home (driving) we stopped here for a quickish find. Love the old bridges. Thaks Brother Colin for all the fun. Will be back for a few that i did not have time to get . Good excuse to come back.
Great cache, crazy how long ago they used to use this rail track, amazing find with scoobywhite !
Found after working out witch side of the road thanks for another great cache
Brother Colin I found your cache X'ing the Rail Trail on 15/6/2024, 4:25PM. This is my find 6730 and find # 9 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
With the string of dnfs we werent hopeful but thought we would try because we had a previous finder in the car. We searched the area and dug around but nothing found today.
A combination of GPS bounce and questionable terrain ratings left us scratching our heads at this one. Will put on watch and try again another day!
Lots of fresh growth, read the notes, didnt feel like diving into the lantana, maybe another day. Thats 2 attempts & 2 DNFs in 2 days.
PS. Watch out for the jumping ants !!!CD got nailed 3x on the ankle where we dropped our bikes. Very painful !!!
Found this on 27/06/23 but didnt sign or log without a pen out riding the Rail Trail. Sooo, revisited today (WITH a pen out riding the Rail Trail) BUT the GZ is not very accessible with overgrown weeds, prickles and jumping ants (!) according to a previous log. Sooo, logging this with photo evidence from our visit last year.
# 8750 Find day 13/20 the current souvenir season.
Today, iPlod65 is running in a 100mile - 160km event along the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail. I'm part of her crew, so grabbing caches as time and place permits. It would be great to ride the BVRT and get the rest some time. All good here.
Thanks Sweet-Sour for the hide.

Quick little weekend away, exploring the country side, with the ultimate goal to complete some of the Map of Australia Geo-Art on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
Making our way from Yarraman down to Toogoolawah, finding the caches that weren't exclusively on the rail trail. Found this one in good condition, made our mark and rehid as found.
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **Sweet-Sour**

DNF No luck here today, too good for me. I think it maybe missing though, a lot of water through here
Think we found the little geotrail but I still wasn't brave enough to go in there!
While out on one of our geocaching days with Peppa, we discussed how many oldies we have found and mentioned "Noises of Tarong". So a day trip to the area was planned and today we on our way to the targeted cache.
Found this one hidden away in its hide, SL then returned as found. Another part of the railway line still standing.

After visiting our relatives in Blackbutt we called into this location on our way home. A previous finder gave good advice on how to access the hide without suffering from multiple scratches. We made the grab and signed the log. TFTC
Out enjoying a drive with the goal of finding caches with a certain attribute to help achieve a challenge cache from QOGM in Cunnamulla…
This cache was on the to do list… so I braved the wall of Lantana and dove in… I was surprised to find mosquitoes here…

A nice early morning find we parked opposite GZ and found there was no need to go through the prickly bush look for a bit of a trail from the side. Cache found log signed snd replaced as found. Thanks Sweet-Sour for this one.
Picking up some caches whilst on my way to attend QOGM 2021 Paroo at Cunnamulla.

I was all over the place here.
Shouldn't of second guessed myself, just didn't go in far enough.
Came round from the other side through the lantana geotrail right up to the cache.. and where i was before. oh well,
Got there in the end.
Thanks sweet-sour for breaking up my journey today rather nicely.

We searched for a good long while but no luck. On seeing the snake skin I gave it up!
Out this way for the long weekend. Camping at Benarkin. We are loving the history in this area and knowing this was once the rail line. After tackling the lantana we were in and quickly found where this little one was hidden. TFTC.
On the road from Kilcoy to Toowoomba via a few counties. This cache had a real live little furry friendly cache guardian. Tftc
Found with a few friends on a big mega caching trip and signed as Capital Crunchers.
Love the Bell Miners. Don't get them in Canberra.

Wow cool spot. Took me awhile to find the right area but eventually used my spidey senses and caxhe soon in hand. Wahoo another county.
So cool to have made it to the Mega now to get the caches we spent months solving and other nearby caches. On our way home now via Toowoomba.
On a trip north to get to Dayboro with Kittykatch, Isopeda and Barb2e. Been lots of fun and laughs.

But of Lantana, my arms love it, they start bleeding if I as much as look at it. TFTC
Out today on a mission to grab a few targeted caches while on a trip to a community event, seems not only Santa has a list, love the list. This was not on the list, but a quick stop saw two of us requiring this one. A short walk from the parking area and cache was in hand. My seventh cache and a nice size cache too, thank you.
With the log signed and cache replaced it was off to the next one on the list, or add to the list. All good with this one, thanks for placing it here.

A bonus pick up for the day as we’re driving past and discussing where the region boundary would begin, knowing that Tallowood is not in the Burnett region when the sign indicates it does. A quickish find, not so quick bash in.
Whoa, bring your bush bashing skills! Container in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
Adventure weekend has begun... starting with some lantana shenanigans to find this cache. Got it though! TFTC!
Caro and I were headed towards Flaxton our stop off point for the night. Picked up in crows nest and we headed north to Blackbutt. This is was our first stop and I had searched for it on a previous occasion but with no luck. This time Caro went one way and I went the other. It wasn’t long until Caro called out she had it. Happy to have a smiley here TFTC Sweet-Sour
Tried from all angles to attack this one, but never ended up closer than about 5 metres through impenetrable jungle. Being alone, and not having a brush cutter on board, decided to leave it for another time.
Today we're taking a slightly different route home and picking up a few smileys along the way.
Found this one after a bit of a scramble. Mr Goanna lost his sunglasses. We looked for a while but gave up. Later in the car he took of his hat and they fell out. He's a silly bunny.

Another quick find with the youngest geodaughter today. We pulled up close to gz and waited for muggles out for a walk to proceed down the rail trail before retrieving and signing. Tftc Sweet-Sour
Really cool spot, loving all the nicely maintained caches in the area. TFTC!
We startled a large possum which quickly climbed the tree. Cache was quickly found by Scoob
Found with Touchstone7 on a trip out west of Brisvegas. We were up visiting my father and decided that a little side trip around an area I haven't really been to could be fun.
And of course, there were caches.
Thanks for the cache and sorry for the late log. Sometimes life gets a little hectic

Genghicat and I are satisfying our craving for travel by doing a quick 3 day circuit west. Originally it was to be 2 but due to a fatality on the road our track has been changed.
After following the country back country roads we finally popped out at the railway line for a quick find in good condition. Amazing how nature takes over isn't it.

Lovely crisp morning to be caching. Hopefully we'll find all of these caches in Benarkin. On on to the next one. Hidden structure makes life interesting.
