Was keen to get a cache today and had headed down to the river and had a unsuccessful look for the bird on a wire.
for this one i guessed the container type from the size and where my GPS took me, and quickly spotted it.
So from one troubled water spot to another, this time a successful find.
Cheers

Only just finished logging the 100+ caches from the weekend and am shattered. But now to start on the ones we desperately grabbed last Tuesday to qualify for the Skindo 250 finds in February! Thank god for working part-time. Coerced hubby to come and put the pedal to the floor. I should be at home getting ready for going to Wellington tomorrow for work. Never enough time! Quick find here. TFTC
Looked right around rails and even jumped the fence to look around couldn't find it
Found mid December when visiting Wanganui on the way to New Plymouth. Very clever cache. Thanks

Nice quick find here once we had it in our hand took us awhile to get it too that stage but once we did we signed the log and replaced as it should have been , almost like it had become undone. otherwise all good thanks for the smiley and the cache.
parking was easy and didnt take long at all to spot, the bottom seems to be stuck almost lost the log when I pulled it out and the log fell out and rolled away, but enjoyed the find and the view. thanks for taking the time putting the cache out and bringing us here
Quack quack quack! Be careful taking this one out of its hidey-hole, the bottom of the container seems to have fallen off and gotten itself wedged out of reach. I tried fishing it out with my pen, no luck. Bit of blu-tack at the end of a stick might help with getting it.
A quick stop - Mrs RRR 'called it' cos we had a similar one. Jumped back into the car and turned the AC up full blast. Thanks for the hide.
Took abit of looking around and finally found it,after finding it I wonder how it took me so long to find it. Nice view there saw some ducks having a swim
Out with Gedyz clutching a few caches between appointments - this was rather obvious when in right spot - tftc
Another find with Whittaker Family. Looked when we first started and could not find. So obvious now lol
On a fun road trip with tmann421 to Wanganui for the weekend collecting come caches along the way.
A nice quick find here today.

After placing a new cache for Panda Paradise I decided to take/drag Miss 5 and 6 to one more cache and this was the closest cache we haven't found yet. No problems with the cache hide and we all enjoyed the stream view from the footpath.

On our road trip home from Palmerston North, taking a scenic detour north and stopping where we could - and not be too obvious in a camper van. Walked to this one after parking up in Kowhai Park. Good hide thanks.
Nice hide there was a muggler watching from above or was he the cahe owner signed and returned all good tftc:):)
Great spot. Have often driven over the bridge but not stopped to look down,. Must have been impressive in the flood. Posted a picture . TFTC
I could. From looking at the site that when the flood were occurring the water would have been very troubled at the corner of the stream as it is now! All the snickered houses along Anza parade remind me of Christchurch! thank you for the cache and another smiley face,
Number 5 for the day and started thinking I would need help from my long fingered companion again but very helpful aid in place for extraction. Thanks gh.
Its really started to rain now, but have two caches under my belt so why not grab the last one on the way home? Parked up around the corner and walked up to the cache and as I approached I was fairly certain where GZ would be. Stopped at likely spot and looked down at the stream (and some of the odd flotsam & jetsom there) and while at it, scoped out where the cache was. Paperwork quickly sorted and the cache returned to it hide.
I used to catch whitebait in the stream about halfway between GZ and the mouth, used to get a few too. Thanks for the placement GummyHermit.

Easy find even in the dark. Although GPS sent me over the road, common sense prevailed and was quickly signing log. TFTC GH
This one was quite close to junior Rattlls school so popped around for our second {FTF} for the day.
Took a little while simply because of waiting out passing muggles but the find was quite straight forward.
Thanks for setting up all these new caches GH
