Logs
I was sure I had searched for this one before, but I guess not. Quick find on a peaceful afternoon up here. Signed log, evicted ants, replaced with temporary fix to keep the damaged lid closed.
Richmond Lad I found your cache Family Connection - Restful Lookout on 30/9/2024, 8:00am. This is my find 7071 and find # 1 today. A quick and easy find with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
First find in Murwillumbah. Lovely cool resting place. Can hear cattle and smell burning off
Walking around town with TNBB, collecting a few caches on our way to Coles. It was dark by the time we arrived here so on with the torches. Found the cache quickly and then went to the shelter to have a look around. Thanks for the cache Richmond Lad
Good little hunt, kids loved it and was nice to be educated about the cemetery I never knew existed.
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Arriving today, we set up the caravan then headed out to explore Murwillumbah using Geocaching as a guide. We placed a new logsheet today.TFTC Richmond Lad
Our second find on a sunny day for hunting. Thanks for the cache. - The log will need replacing, it was all ripped.
Its a lovely view of the hill. Found it. Over here for a long weekend trip in Northern Rivers. Found it. Thank you!
Hi Richmond Lad we found your cache here today. The two paper logs in the container were wet and torn so we put another one in. The lid does not shut properly so this one might end up wet too. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache.
Cemetery caches often bring you to a great place to sit and reflect.Plenty of birdsong here too Tftc Richmond lad
Saw it strait away when we drove past when we put it back we moved it slightly so you couldnt see it from the road.funny what was inside.
It was a very early start this morning leaving the north of Brisbane to a attend a 7am CITO at Tweed heads. The weather was cools and a bit overcast but it was lovely way to start the morning.I quickly found a place to park the car and made my way to ground zero in high expectation of the find. The target was quickly located, log extracted and a mark made to celebrate the find. The prize was quickly returned and on my way again.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers
Day 18 of our attempt to get the 3 new souvenirs. We bettered our streak last month to 20 days. This month we just have to make it to 28!
We’re in our tin tent at the Showgrounds for 2 nights - and our geo daughter is in her swag - and tomorrow we’re doing the NRRT.
Was a nice little workout getting up the hill. Was great to learn your family history and that of the cemetery. The cache was nicely hidden and all was in order.
Happy to find a cache so far from home so as not to clean up those close to home.
Thanks Richmond Lad for the cache.

Fascinating story! My great-grandfather also left his family in Denmark aged 19 at around the same time! He ended up meeting my great-grandmother (a Norwegiean) in north-west Queensland and then settled in the Cairns region. He lost contact with his family and they believed he had died but he returned to visit Denmark when he was in his 60s with my grandfather.
Thanks for an interesting cache!

Yesterday we spent doing NRRT caches with a large group. This morning the numbers had dwindled with only Brother Colin and myself setting out early to pick up caches on a return ride to Tyalgum for coffee and scones. After the ride I rounded off a few stray caches inthe Murwillumbah area.
Nice spot for a picnic or a break. Kids found it (as usual). Swapped a minecraft zombie for a purple squishy.
I was about to make my way into Murwillumbah again for the third time in three days. I have an affiliation with the place because I used to get a lot of work here with the council. This was one of the parks I hadn’t visited before and it took a bit of time for me to extract the cache from its resting place. tftc
Visiting from interstate and collecting a few caches whilst in the local district with grannysmith1947.

Thanks Richmond Lad

Parked at a suitable location in town and set off on the geocycle to try and round up some smilies.
A nice deserted lookout made for a nice easy find.

We found this cache as our last stop on our night time walk around town. The street lights are a bit more sparse on these streets , but luckily GZ was well lit up.
We made a quick find, signed the log and replaced the container before heading back to camp.
Thanks for the cache!

We are in our way South to Nambucca Heads. We like the road less travelled so we are trying to find a cache here and there on our journey. Today after saying goodbye to our friend we are going to Ferry Reserve Holiday Park via Tallebudgera and Murwillumbah.
What lovely vistas Murwillumbah has. Hills, views to Mt Warning and a great Art Gallery.

The Murbah Scouts went geocaching two weeks ago and found this one along the way! TFTC swapped a bee for a pathtag (thanks LizBeth1998)
It’s a strange day today… we dropped our dog at the Ekka this morning at 6:30… we can’t even watch… so to take our mind off the drama of the Ekka Dog Show, Blkthunder and I are caching through the Tweed Valley…
A really quick find as the cache was visible on approach… We replaced the log, put it in a snap lock bag and removed all the rubbish…
Tftc…
We then did a drive by of the Masonic Hall…
