I am archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action or communication by the cache owner Maccasreps within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note, and it appears that the cache has been abandoned.

###Cache Owner Action Needed###
This cache has been brought to my attention as likely to be missing.
After a string of successful Finds, it has now had a string of DNFs. I agree that this certainly suggests that something has happened at the cache location which requires investigation by the CO.
I am going to Disable it, and I'll check back in 4 weeks to see if either

- the CO has checked or rectified the apparent problem
- the CO has communicated when action will be taken

If the CO has not taken either of these actions, then regrettably the cache will be archived.

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Thank you

The only problem riding down to Dam Wall is riding back up. And with no find makes it even worse.

03-Aug-20
No luck today, didn’t spend a lot of time.

04-Jul-20
I had a really good look for this before I PAF who directed me to where it should be - however it was not. Beautiful view though

07-Mar-20
Ok no luck for us today. But we wonder if a change to the environment has stumped us. Will message the CO to double check.

31-Dec-19
So clever!

28-Dec-19
Out and about with JackT1606 and dropped in to grab a few caches. We were treated with an awesome view today. After a thorough search of the obvious spots and coming up with nothing we need another look. What an awesome cache, thank you for hiding and maintaining this cache. Found it, signed it, logged it.

15-Nov-19
Out and about with a student of mine today to check out the dam and opened the app to find a cache not to far away.

Once we got to GZ my initial instincts proved to be wrong and after a few minutes noticed the error in my ways.

Thanks Maccasreps for placing this cache for me to find, a favourite for sure for this elegant camo job. This is find number 1869 for me.

15-Sep-19
Hidden in plain sight haha

08-Sep-19
After completing the wonder series and having refreshed the geokids with an ice cream and the adults with a much needed coffee we decided we still had time to squeeze some more caches in so we headed for the Dam to try our luck with the wherigo. After successfully finding it we moved on to this cache. I must say a very creative cache that had me fooled for awhile. Well done favourite point awarded.

22-Jul-19
Was quite water damaged so could not sign log but was an awesome find

09-Jun-19
We had a quick look for the cache then moved on as there were too many non cacheing people in the area. Whike we ate a quick lunch we thought about options.
We went back to the cache area and noticed something not quite right. So perfect thought that it was more of a reflection variation that we noticed.
Very well done.
Getting it back into place took a bit of time as we had to wait for more people to move away.
Such a busy place. Tourists love this dam.
Thanks for the great inventive cache.

18-Mar-19
We had a lovely lunch closeby so decided to check on this one as we were passing. It is still there & in good condition too.

13-Mar-19
had a good look, no luck, will try again another day TFTH

30-Dec-18
What a great hide. I've seen similar but not as blatant as this! As the falls park was closed due to capacity we went up to the dam and were rewarded with this fantastic find. TFTC.

18-Dec-18
If it is still there its a bloody good hide tyfc.

10-Nov-18
Out caching on a magical spring day with Jackyboy27 followed by lunch at the fantastic Cafe on the Dam.

Unfortunately have to log this as a DNF, had a good look around but no luck! We are newbies so maybe we missed it but thorough search done!

11-Oct-18
Very tricky hide!!! Never seen one like this before!

30-Sep-18
I had a good look between cars could not find.

31-Jul-18
Well, didn't find it, but from the previous logs it's a bit tricky. Checked the coords on Google Maps when I got home, as Dora the Explorer was telling me it was about 5 meters over the barrier - which is a no-go zone because it's a water catchment area. I must have been standing on top of it, as my error today was around 4-5 meters. From what I've seen, it should be possible to find without crossing the barrier. I'll try again next time we're here for a picnic.
TFT...errr...FS for Failed search?

PS - Just read the cache description - Do Not Leave The Path!!

06-Jul-18
We came here last weeks looking for this one, but had no signal to see who the CO was. Came fully aware this time so we knew what to look for. Had a bit of a hard time signing the log as in t was damp even after drying it off. TFTH!

WinkBig GrinSmile[:o)]

Today Mr Wileclan agreed to accompany me on a caching run in Jarrahdale, where we completed one of the Civilisation Series (Tribes) and commenced another series. Enjoyed the caches, and for the most part the caches coordinates were accurate. But then again, as is aways the case. Some of the blighters proved difficult to find.

Overall it was a great day, the first run we have undertaken together for some time.

This was the first cache for the day. We searched high and low, and then I took a closer look a something odd. The cache was soon revealed. FP added for another clever Maccareps cache.

___________________________________________________________________

Cool Thanks Maccasreps for bringing me to this location. I found the cache at 8:31:00 AM. This was my 1 Find for today out of a Total number of 39 and 1 DNF for Today. The cache was found in Good Condition and I returned the cache as I found it.

This find brings my total number of Finds to 3800.Big Grin

Found at 8:31:00 AM.

I got a call from rudi63 the other day asking if I wanted to go grab some of the Civilisation series. After determining where we were starting we came by here to see what we could find.

A search revealed nothing and I was soon enough cursing the cache owner for his deviousness again. Then rudi63 came up with the words we al like to hear "got it!" Sure enough he had the prize in hand from some where that I had thought looked suss earlier. I really should check things out more and not dismiss them with a Maccasreps cache!!

But our name is in the log and a favourite point has been awarded yet again.

Thanks for the cache Maccasreps, it was cache number 2424 for me and was number 1 in my run of 39 finds and 1 DNFs for today's geocaching effort.

Cheers Cool

After a nice coffee at the cafe, we headed down the steps to the spillway to find this cache. Only problem was a group of motor bike riders and a car were parked pretty close to gz. Dam! Decided to find the other cache over the other side of the dam first. Returned to a muggle free gz and decided to focus on the likely location. Not having a lot of luck until muggle husband noticed something a bit suss and we were soon signing the log. Great hide. Amazing actually. a fave Tftc maccasreps.

We were completing the nearby Wherigo and grabbed this rippa on the way past! Fave point for this one.

Hi there Maccasreps, we were out geocaching in this area today, 18/11/17, and found your cache Reservoir Dogs GC63ZGJ at 3:09 pm. Thanks for taking the time to place this cache out here for us to find!

This brings our cache find to a total of 9068.

14-Oct-17
Great cache. Had us going for a bit! Tftc and bringing us here.

14-Oct-17
Out checking for new hiding spots for the next civ installment of caches and checking on other caches when we stopped here to let youngest geoniece run around for a bit at the park close by. We had looked for the cache before, but had better luck this time. Great sneaky hide! Photo of geoniece sharing biscuits with the birds. Thanks for the hide

02-Oct-17
The cache types section of the guidelines reveals something interesting about this style of hide. I pulled up at GZ, left the engine running, took a photo and logged the find, Thanks.

18-Sep-17
Headed out with Loudy16 today after managing to work in a caching day into our schedules. We have both been out of caching for a while, so the morning was very slow to start with. We started with a section of the Stand By Me series, and then completed the Stephen King caches.

Lunch was a stop at the Jarrahdale, with a beer or two and a nice counter meal.

After lunch we headed off to complete the latest instalment of the Civilisation Series.

We were both stuck at GZ for a fair while trying to work out where the cache was. It took us far longer than it should have but eventually I had the lightbulb moment.

TFTC Maccasreps.

organised with KrabiBoy to hit up some geocache trails and couldnt ask for a better day.
Stopped in to find this cache and looked everywhere Krabiboy was the one who came up with the goods
Tftc fave point from me
Maccasreps, I found your cache Reservoir Dogs on 18/9/17 at 3:23 pm. This is my find #1452 and #78 today.

11-Sep-17
Unfortunately, no find for me today. Just as I arrived at GZ, the rain started. I had the quickest of looks but nothing jumped out at me. I'm not surprised given all the favourite points this hide has accumulated. Sadly, I won't be back as I'm flying home to Sydney in the morning after attending the WA Goes Big event in Rockingham. Still, I did get to find a number of impressive hides by this CO, so I'm happy! Cheers.

**Found this while House Sitting in Bedfordale** Cool

*Headed out to do the Procrastination Series*...

A overcast day with a few showers and *rain* sometimes. Wink Most were fairly quick Park and Grab's but a few times I had to rely on the hint and that (thankfully) made them a quick find. A lot of puddles laying around and that made the drive more interesting. Managed to grab 55 Smile today with only 1 DNF Sad so a great day out.

Have really enjoyed this area over the past few weeks of visiting the area.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Maccasreps. Appreciate your effort. Big Grin
Greetings from Victoria.

Day two of our weekend away in Jarrahdale, we spent it tackling the Civilisation Series & of course could not let this one pass by whilst in the area Wink The area was deserted today so we parked at GZ hopeful of a quick find Surprised It took us a few minutes & we did not spot it on the first glance, but soon enough we were signing the log & on our way before anyone came driving by!

TFTC maccasreps… Have found plenty of this style cache before, but still took us by surprise… Well Done [^]

28-Apr-17
It has been a few years since we were last here and we decided that it would be a lovely place to spend a glorious autumn Friday and have a bbq lunch away from the crowds. After lunch we parked in the carpark on the east and walked across the dam wall. After searching every nook and crannie for a micro I didn't find this one so after about 5 minutes I gave up and we continued across the wall. I read some of the logs as we were walking away and realised it was a tricky one. I had a rough idea of what it might be so on the way back I checked again and found it within 30 seconds. It was the sort of thing I was expecting only not this big. Very good, even worth a favourite.

After a couple of days of coastal caching, we headed inland and picked up quite a few caches as we explored the National Park area and learnt more about the Serpentine Dams. Reading some previous logs, we were a bit worried about this one. We added our name to the log, quite chuffed with our success.
A FP here for ingenuity - well done.

Thanks Maccasreps for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

With both of us on leave from work, AlliedOz and I arranged to spend a day researching the history of civilisation. We dropped the Geokids at school and headed out to Jarrahdale.

My plan was to grab the Tribes and then the People and maybe a few others here and there.

I had had this hide recommended to me so I took the opportunity to grab it. AlliedOz had already found it, so he sat down hoping to watch me struggle. Fortunately for me, I found this in less than a minute.

A great hide in a great spot. A fave from me
Maccasreps - SVKR_WA found your cache Reservoir Dogs on 4/4/17, 11:25. This is my find #1888 and find #17 today.

The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

12-Mar-17
What a very clever hide here. Wow, this could take some a long time to suss out, well done.

Was up here doing the recent series and came over this one on the way home.

Thanks for the fun of this one Maccasreps.

12-Mar-17
How clever is that? I was convinced that it was missing, but Mistraluna kept telling me, that it is there... genius as always. Tftc and fav point coming your way

07-Mar-17
Up this way grabbing some newly released hides and after grabbing the one in the carpark I took a stroll along the wall to this one. Had me stumped for a while when I eventually uncovered the clever camo. Biggest one I've seen like this, very nice.

I've never been to this dam, thanks for bringing me here. I'll come back with the family one day I'm sure. Have just realised this is a mini milestone for me, very apt, but totally by accident.

Awarding a favourite for the nice camo and the milestone.

Maccasreps I found your cache at 11:09am, this was the 7th of 11 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 3900. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Headed north again today, this time with the Pranksters Devils on our radar. The plan was to meet up with Eliktrisiti when she finished at the gym after spending all night at work (oh to be that young again!!). Mr Jackylegs and I were on the road pretty early and decided to grab a few caches on the way to our pre-arranged meeting place with Eli. This was one of the ones we chose to grab while it was still early and not too many muggles around, or so we thought. Amazing how many people use this road as a thoroughfare to wherever they are off to early on a Sunday morning. Enjoyed the walk out to gz and made a quick find after ignoring where the gps devices were sending us (all those rocks must have been sending the signals crazy). Great camo. Well done Maccasreps, well deserving of a favourite point.

23-Oct-16
Was out with Mistraluna and Eli, to do the Devil caches which we completed, with lots of cuts and bruses. A job well done, but Happy not to go back to soon. tftc, sl, tnln. Didbefore the Devils. best cache of the day.fav from us.

16-Oct-16
Great fun and freaked the wife out saying it was a massive drop hehehe, awesome hide on a picture perfect day

29-Sep-16
TFTC headed out today as B12 was working for the most of the day. So decided to go to caches that he has found and I haven't as yet, with the rare days that we are not together caching.

Steve eventually finished and met me to collect a few together.

Some great camo caches in byford were found and some great containers hidden also.

29-Sep-16
TFTC has to work this morning so didn't plan our usual route to pickup bulk caches, so Cravo headed to an area I had cached out before meeting up with me later on to grab a few we hadn't attempted.

Cravo couldn't stop raving about the Valo force hides in byford, loved their camo and different style of hides. Thanks

19-Sep-16
Great hide, I like it ! Smile
This means a favorite point for this great cache Smile

TFTC !

19-Sep-16
Out and about with Bellamin on a tour through the hills today. After having a nice feed at the cafe (us and the birds) we had the area to ourselves today. I have seen this kind of hide before so it was a quick find for us. Well done.

11-Apr-16
An opportunistic visit to the dam to show a visitor from Belgium so we couldn't pass up the chance to grab the caches in the area. Our visitor was familiar with our hobby / obsession so helped out as well.

This one took some time and had me searching in many directions, but my GPSr kept bringing me back to the same spot. After overlooking the hide a number of times a much closer examination revealed a doubling where there shouldn't be. The find was finally made and log signed - a favourite point for this one.

Thanks for the cache Maccasreps [^] - we made the find and the cache was in good order. The log was damp but signable Cool.

This was find # 3 of 3 Smile and 0 Sad today giving us a total cache count of 3049.

11-Mar-16
Hmm had us stumped for a few mins with geo partner cursing and swearing when I said look outside the square then aha laughed and found it!

06-Feb-16
Originally found & logged under the family caching name 'clan-wallace' but it is time to reinvent ourselves

06-Feb-16
You've done it again! Grabbed a well deserved favourite point off us. I was surprised to see one of your Film series this far from home but an obvious & beautiful location for this one. TFTC

04-Feb-16
The second find of this afternoons drive to Serpentine Dam with WebblyWA. Got to GZ, was reminded not to climb the railing, so I started looking here and there. It was WebblyWA who made the find of this very clever cache, well worth a fave from me! TFTC Maccasreps!

04-Feb-16
Today m4yb and I headed up to the Serpentine dam, we picked a great day and time because the place was deserted. With no muggles in sight we started our search then I spotted something that didn't look quite right, what I found was a very well constructed camo cache. Added a write in the rain log as the log was slightly damp. Definitely worth a fav point from me for both the lovely location and the well constructed cache. TFTC Maccasreps, I have really enjoyed doing your caches over the last couple of months.

27-Jan-16
A quick find today while taking a friend holidaying here from Indonesia around for the day. We enjoyed feeding the parrots in the parking area below the wall, and then enjoyed a light lunch at the restaurant after finding the cache. All in all an enjoyable day for us all. SL. Thanks to Maccasreps for the cache.

10-Jan-16
Found on an interesting walk across the dam. Beautiful day. Dried out the log sheet, and signed. Great camo.

08-Jan-16
Will be down over the next few days to sort out the log.

18-Dec-15
I was in the area picking up a few caches and stopped to grab this one. Left the car in the carpark and walked the 250 metres to the cache. I must admit i spotted this one straight away as i have done a cache like this before. I managed to sign the log book but it was very wet. A favourite point for another clever camo,d cache TFTC Maccasreps

01-Nov-15
A different version of hides we have found before and a job well done, haven't been here in many years tftc

31-Oct-15
Was having lunch nearby and decided to wander down here with Wellsy21.
A beautiful day and luckily now muggles around meant we could hunt unhindered.

A great version of this type of cache that had us baffled for a bit til Wellsy made the find.

A definite fav for this one.

Maccasreps - Kyzabra found your cache Reservoir Dogs on 31/10/2015, 3:04 PM. This is my find #4360 and find #2 today. The cache is in good shape and we replaced it as found. Thanks for placing this and bringing us to this spot!

31-Oct-15
came to Sepertine with Kyzabra for lunch at the dam café. thanks for the view but so many stairs on the way back with the flies. Awesome cache

11-Oct-15
Wow a 2TF after so many days of it being published, result!

Plus coupled with the fact this is a ripper job of a cache type I have seen before, just not to this extreme and had imagined doing myself, but I doubt I would have done it justice as you have.

I'll be directing people to come find this one, well worth the drive and walk. A fav point for sure.

The log was nice and dry, just a little condensation on one edge.

FTF @ 1:57pm. The ValoForce team is STOKED:) This is one of our families most favourite spots, we frequent this area with the kids all the time and always lament the lack of caches in the area.
This camo was brilliant. Was here only for a few minutes before GeoDaughter made the find. We were very impressed. Soo clever. Had to wait around for a good 10 mins before we could retrieve due to Muggle Central and made sure we removed and replaced very carefully.
TFTC Maccasreps. Favourite point from us Smile
