Found the cache and signed the log yesterday. I noted a previous finder reporting that the "amputated oxygen maker" wasn't obvious until after the cache was found. But in hindsight I believe that there are 2 "amputated oxygen makers" involved in this cache.
Heading to Portland today with time on my hands, I decided I'd take the scenic route there from Lithgow, travelling via Sodwalls, Tarana, Meadow Flat and Sunny Corner (with a couple of diversions, like this one to Rydal, thrown into the mix) in a last ditch attempt to earn the final Hidden Creatures souvenir. I thoroughly enjoyed the drive and in the end, was able to pick up enough caches along the way, I think, to get me the turtle souvenir.
Thanks for this cache Chuze and for bringing me to a country church that offers something just a bit different to most. I quire enjoyed wandering through the grounds, though I got a bit worried when a car pulled up, obviously checking up on the stranger in town ... but I must have passed muster because after a minute or so of staring in my direction, the driver headed on.

A pleasant drive to this nice quiet town. An interesting way of giving a hint. Very smart. Although, we only worked it out after making the find. Yes, we did hear the click before replacing the cache. TFTC
A quick diversion on our trip to Hampton had us at Rydal Pub for lunch and a cache.

Stopped for lunch in the quaint village at the local pub and did the village walk. Forgot my pen so couldn't sign! TFTC and history
Found this cache at 12.15pm after spending the morning at the Daffodil Festival in town and now picking up some caches. A lovely little church and a very symbolic chair.
Thanks Chuze for the hide.

Taking advantage of the long weekend, Fitzy_1965 and I decided to head up to the Lithgow area caching along the way. Our main aim was the Jenolan Caves MPT with a few extras here and there. We appreciated the wide variety of caches found and thank the CO's for their caches.
Had to have my wits about me as neighbour came out to potter around just as I arrived at GZ. Was able to make the find once she went back inside.

14253. Found during a run through the Oberon to Lithgow region this long weekend Monday.
Minniek and I decided that a day trip up to Lithgow was in order to grab the Jenolan Caves MPT and any others along the way. This was the next find for the day. Quick find at GZ once the muggle moved on. Log signed, cache replaced, and we headed off.
Thanks to all the COs for their caches - it was a great run up through this area.

#4049- I was out in Joshwa27 country when I came upon this Chuze cache not far away. I am fairly sure I have not been to this town before and such a cute little place it is with lovely gazebo's and this quaint church. I must come back and take a bit better look another day. An easy find once inside the grounds. Thanks for your only one out of my 7 for the day.
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
### Trip to the bush ###
Day 1
We started our trip in Rouse Hill towards the bush region of New South Wales.
Our first stop was in Springwood where we took a little bush walk and found this letterbox in the middle of the bush. We then visited the geological sandstone attraction and informed ourselves about the geological features of this region.
We then continued our trip towards Katoomba where we enjoyed the breathtaking view over the Blue Mountains at Echo Points. We took a little walk and reached the 3 sisters form the originally 7 sisters. Now it was starting to get dark and we continued on to the town to look for a couple of more caches before finishing off the day.
Day 2
At early morning, we relaxed once more for a little while longer at Eco Point before we continued our trip towards Blackheath and Mount Victoria.
We had a little break at Lake Lyell where we visited the dam and had some snacks.
We then continued towards Ryell and high up to Mount Lambie where we were lucky to spot many animals again.
We left the main road just before Bathurst towards the quiet countryside past Peel, Wattle Flat and the historical Sofala. We had a coffee break at Sofala where we drove around the old historic town.
We then continued our drive on Hill End Road and we socked in the beautiful nature. We were lucky to see many animals on the way.
We were welcomed by many roos at Hill End.
We left Hill End and drove towards Hargreaves towards our night stop at Windeyer. We slept at Bushland Tourist Park once again in the beautiful train accommodation. We had dinner at the local pub where we had nice pasta.
Day 3
We had to first free the car from all the ice before we could start our trip towards Mudgee. It gets cold out there at night, around -1 degrees.
We drove towards the west to Wellington and Stuart Town, Mumbil, Dam Arthur and finished the day in Dubbo.
We were astonished by NSW untouched nature and beautiful wildlife.
Day 4
We started the day with a little trip outside of Dubbo’s bushalnds.
We then strolled around the city of Dubbo and visited the beautiful Botanic Graden of Dubbo. The Gardner’s put so much work into maintain this beautiful spot. Well done.
We started the trip home towards Sydney past Wellington, Mudgee and Portland.
We drove past the Mt Piper Power station and informed us about the tours.
We continued towards Sydney.
We hereby want to thank all owners for all the work you have done in maintaining the caches. You have showed us many beautiful and also many hidden spots which we wouldn’t have found without the caches.
Thank you

TFTC. The sun is up, the bulbs are ready to burst into bloom. The priest has left his room for the night to carry on his journey. And so must we.
We stayed in Bathurst over night , we have been solving puzzles in preparation for out trip. An early start after big breakfast. Good to see good weather after all the rain we been having. After a little search the cache was found. TFTC
Second day of our weekend around Bathurst/Lithgow. Again lots of puzzles and lots of fun. Some tricky and a few DNF as well, but overall very happy with the results. J+J.AU as my caching friend made a big difference, thanks guys for having me along once again!

Found a back way to Tarana so missed a few then onto here. Was Waymarking the church when checked & one on grounds. A quick find. Thanks.
Out for the day with The Phantom we came once more to this pretty village. After a look around the station, I enjoyed a stroll up to the church and was rewarded with a find in this most interesting of spots. Thanks Chuze.
I enjoyed stopping in this beautiful town. I spent some time at the station too, looking for survey markers...TFTC.
An easy park and wander - a graveyard seemingly sparse of graves - for a quick find, log and replace.
An interesting walk around the small sandstone church with each of its cut glass windows displaying a different rural scene. TFTC Chuze

Bikerbuddy & I came out this way about a month ago to look for the puzzle cache on the other side of town. I noticed that this one was published a few days later. I think that's one of the rules of caching - you think you have cleared a fairly remote spot, and another one will be published the day after you return home. You probably have lunch in the park 10m from the new cache .
Anyway, we were on our way home from the TRLT series, so detoured to find this one, and once again clear this little area. It's a charming town, and this is a lovely old church. It was interesting to read about the priest's room. We see a lot of small churches as we drive around caching, and they often have signs saying that services are held once a month. But I think modern day ministers drive to the remote church & are home in time for dinner.
Thanks for this one

We were in this area recently to pick up a mystery cache, but this one hadn't been published at the time. We'd just finished the TRLT series, so we were on our way home with a few detours for cahces along the way.
This cache took us to the other end of town than last time, so we got to see this great church. It seems well kept. We wandered over to the cache location and made the find, and read the plaque about the priests room while we signed the log. A great spot. Thanks for showing us.

Dang- missed seeing this one on the GPS while doing the mystery. Next time.....
Interesting history here at the priests room. Nicely hidden away from muggles. The Church dates back to the 1860s. Thanks for showing me the area. Tftc.
We had a couple of caches marked from earlier in the week but did not get there until now. It's been a well since we had been through town and our car GPSr did not even pick up the back street. We made our way around to GZ and after looking at the old stone church saw the feature and after reading the plaque soon made the find. We opened up the log to confirm **FTF**. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
