Find#2822Some Hunter geocachers and myself have talked for a long time about coming to Kempsey to complete the slim dusty series. We achieved this goal and also completed the Tamban Trail, the fruit and nut series and now the golfing series in town. Todays goal was to get as many in Kempsey as we could. Quick find but we found it on the ground. Tied it to the tree about a metre or so from the ground but in the same spot Log and cache in good condition Signed and returned as found TFTC

Good hide, log is a little damp

Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Staying in Kempsey only 2 nights, today was planned around finishing the Monopoly series and visiting Smithtown, Gladstone and Crescent Head.Managed to grab a yummy pie and sausage roll at Crusty's bakery in Gladstone. Didnt try the cakes but they also looked yummy. Weather was kind to us today. [^]TFTC ozglory

Wasn’t planning on another trip up here today but had to come this way to pick up a purchase so thought we’d go a hunting for gnomes. Grabbed this one on our way to gnomes ville. Have looked here before but never found this one. Today was a quick park and grab. Walked straight to it and completed duties in no time. TFTC.

On the way back from visiting all the gnomes I stopped for this cache. A nice easy find.

On a wet day visiting Kempsey , we stopped and made a quick exit from the car to find this one. With a wel worn track around GZ, and a good hint, we soon had this one signed.

A farmer on the adjacent property spotted me and asked if I was looking for the little house. He had seen it there and was wondering what it was! I explained geocaching to him so hopefully he’ll leave it be.

New cache and Clue

After taking geowife to emergency this morning due to eye infection, had to go it alone this afternoon while she was resting. Not a bad afternoons haul. some caches were wet, didn't hve any spare logs with me at this time sorry. Place card is bleached, can't tell if it has a code or not. Needs replacing. Logs wet.

On a slow road trip to the Geomuster at Morisset next weekend. Staying at various towns along the way and collecting many smilies on the way.
Today we are caching around Kempsey while the weather is favourable.
We didn't get too twisted trying to locate the cache - another good find.

Staying in the Kempsey area for 2 days before heading south towards Morriset. A nice day today to go caching after all the rain they have had in the last week.

Finally time to get some caching done in Kempsey. After meeting ozglory we were keen to check out their caches and we were not disappointed. We are still working on completing this fun series. Thanks to ozglory for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

That’s 2 colours down for the day now just have remember where we wrote down the other clues TFTC

After diverting into Kempsey for lunch while driving north, I figured why not grab a quick cache as well before we hit the highway again. This was the random choice the geo-widow cum navigator made, and a quick find was duly chalked up ... but I must admit the hint helped to make it so.

Today we travelled to Kempsey to find a few caches and complete the Monopoly series and the golf trail.
This was our 24th for the day, after parking across the road and walking headfirst into a cobweb we made a quick find.

Took the trip to Kempsey from Port today to collect a few caches, we were focusing mainly on the Monopoly series, but if others popped up nearby then they were fair game too.
#27 for the day... This had to be a quick stop and grab due to lack of parking, geo mum jumped out and soon had cache in hand. TFTC

We spent quite some time here at around 11:31:00 AM, but we just couldn't locate your cache. It's either not there, a very clever hide or we are just suffering from "cache blindness", so here's a DNF from us.

LOL, we checked this cache at 2:30 sat arvo and it was still in its spot. However the undergrowth and trees have certainly shot up since we placed this cache. We have relocated it to better reflect the difficulty we wanted

The road was very busy as the building site down the road had obviously just finished for the day but the cache was soon located and replaced.

Came back for a second look after using the PAF option from a previous finder and had success this time. GPS still wanted to jump all over the place so I guess that is my excuse for missing it the first time.

Found by Pat & Cheryl at 10:39 AM. Thanks for bringing us to this great location and helping us to increase our tally. Really enjoyed this cache ozglory and this is #868 so far for us.

Well, just when we thought we were on a roll, a DNF pops up. Couldn't get the GPS to settle in the trees and we looked in every likely spot, being mindful that it was a hot day and the "slitheries" might be out and about, although we must been making lots of noise traipsing through the scrub so probably scared 'em off. Will have to come back for this one another day.

Our plan was to target the Monopoly series, we completed & found 21 all being FTFs
What a great way to do a tiki tour of the area, I think we went to most points on the compass.
This is a great series, co-ords are really very good which made the finds quiet easy. Even though they were country roads we were surprised how many of the locals we spied.
We got out here & said I can't believe we were here yesterday, but didn't know it had been published.
