A nice easy start to the day

We had to work hard for this one. Worked out where we thought it was and then got about clearing the mountain of tree bark on top of it. Lots of bark removed and then we spied the prize. TFTC.

Finally time to get some caching done in Kempsey. After meeting ozglory we were keen to check out their caches and we were not disappointed. We are still working on completing this fun series. Thanks to ozglory for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.

Awesome little nature study went with this one. Kids loved studying the hundreds of cicadas. Tftc

Today we spent some time around Kempsey to find a few caches, this was our twenty second for the day.

We parked about 5 metres from GZ and thanks to accurate coordinates the cache was located after a short search.

Our 300th find!!! The GPS has obviously had enough for today, because it was jumping around all over the place, but we still managed to find the cache and snap a selfie to celebrate the moment. TFTC

On an all-night geocaching adventure with MV on his birthday from Newcastle to South West Rocks seeking some FTFs and high D:T combos. We left Newcastle at 5:30pm and arrived back at 12 noon the next day. 42? caches, targeting D2:T2 and higher. Steady drizzle, dark, no sleep, higher terrain = fun

Well what started as an innocent look at a few puzzles in preparation for the upcoming HAVOC Incarceration camping event, soon turned into an impromptu all night caching run when we managed to solve all the puzzles.

As we kept telling ourselves we were indeed heading back home, we found ourselves taking in a few detours along the way. Another one in this series found, but alas, we couldn't do them all.

We are back out again in the Kempsey area for our forth day of caching. Kempsey has really turned it on, with magnificent winter weather (we're Victorian!), shorts and Tshirts every day-except when we're scrambling around in the bush!
We've driven through Kempsey many times over the years and never thought to stop here. Since we have discovered geo-caching we took another look at the area and saw all those lovely caches just waiting to be found. Add in a good cheap place to stay in our caravan at the Showgrounds. Thanks to those who have had the foresight to cater for us old folk on tour.
A straightforward find, and a perfect parking spot.

We found your cache **"MK- (Green)"** at 2:18:00 PM today. (This makes our total find count 17539).

Our plan for the day was to finish the game of Monopoly that we started a couple of days ago. Little did we know that it wasn't possible to finish the game so easily, because we kept getting side tracked.

We had a most enjoyable day & found 26 caches in a variety of container types and sizes (& DNF'd 2). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.

We decided to continue looking for more properties to buy in the Kempsey monopoly series. This one was found and inspected and was deemed to be suitable for our needs. We did the paperwork as required but thought we might put the purchase on hold. Thanks to the owner ozglory for putting all these properties on the market.

"O give me a home among the gun trees...". Love these Eucalypts! One would think the cache would be high and dry here, but surprisingly there was water in the cache. Dried it out, signed the dry log, and returned all as it was.
