The temptation of finding nearly 1,000 caches on a road trip in South Australia was proving all too tempting. So a date was set, flights were booked, and a car was hired. The Rats, Steeba, Wilbert67 and I were off to tackle the On Ya Bike series, and surrounding caches. Cache logs were either stamped, or signed GG (Gong Gangsters). We covered a great many kilometres, finding caches and enjoying the scenery. We camped under the stars. We enjoyed cold weather, rain and a winter heat wave. We cached in the dark. We cached in the light. We found some ordinary caches, and some brilliant ones.As is so often the case with our trips, the banter was constant, the jeering persistent, and the company excellent. Mind you, it is a lot easier to listen to Rugby League on the radio in the great State of New South Wales! This boiler-plate log does not take anything away from some of the excellent caches that we found, and I am appreciative of all of the cache hiders for their efforts in placing and maintaining all of these hides. We all ticked over mini Milestones during this trip, but notably I found my 28,000th cache. A Milestone I am very happy to have shared with my mates; mates that I have found thousands of caches with previously. Heres to many more caching adventures!Cheers Wilbert67
Found with The Rats, Hoojar and Wilbert67. Another big trip some time in the making to get some good numbers. Plenty of solving and working out final coordinates, packing lists and arranging transport from New South Wales to some of the mallee country of South Australia. As always plenty of laughs and great company. As always a variety of types and hides.Unless otherwise flagged cache found all ok. Thanks for placing these series.TFTC!
Ahh a long weekend caching in South Australia with the Gong Gangsters is way too good an opportunity to pass up. With dates set and leave passes granted we managed a 4-day caching spree - targeting the On ya bike series. The variety of finds was wide and diverse, we travelled with our own totts. Our finds are logged with our Gangster stamp or GG on the smaller logs. Thanks to all the COs who provided us with a great weekend, filled with laughter, banter and much more that cant be said. Thanks to my fellow caching buddies - steeba, Hoojar and Wilbert.TFTC

Find # 14945Been a while since I've been out solo for a long trip. But things change over time. And I'm living the past.So with some time off work, I've jumped the border wall to chase down some long trails in South Aussie... don't know how many I'll get. But I've got quite a few downloaded. I do have a short hit list ( of 2) caches to help with a challenge. All others are just for the Adventure and countryside views. Armed with all the necessary TOTT from tweezers and magnet grab to 6m ladder and 8m fishing pole. I believe I'm prepared for all that I'll come across. (Just had to leave the Kayak at home )Day 3. Early start and had first grab at 0601HZig Zagging around pipeline roads. Tackling some climbs and the corrugations. By 1000H I had finally completed the series West of Swan Reach with a couple others thrown in for good luck ... then it was time to hit the trail back east, go for broke n see what I can achieve for the day. TFTC Moneydork
Today out and about on 153 of 183 days to get my daily cacher Sapphire Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
A very interesting memorial out here! Thanks for making us stop and have a look. May they rest in peace, gone far too young - **On your Bike - Day 2** -**SIGNED AB!***Loci612 / DARKSIDEDAN / Tiz13 / echocage1*Yesterday was a trial run to see what this series was like, and how quickly we might be able to get through it! We managed to pick up almost 1/4 of the caches that day, with extra time in the late afternoon to do some tougher ones as a reward! So we agreed that today we would be able to shoot for 400 in a day if we were more focused on the series itself! It ended up being a 14 hour day of caching starting at 7:30am. That did include one break for dinner at Swab Reach Pub, where we regained our energy and contemplated whether we had met the goal. We came to a conclusion that we potentially miscounted and were a small handful of caches short, so we went back out and picked up some harder ones to round off the total, not finishing until 9:30pm at night! What an epic series, 10 years playing this game and I doubled my previous most in a day, just like that! Huge thanks to SAGEO_5, but mainly to the individual persons involved with this account and setting up this epic series!
This was one of our bonus caches we stopped to grab while on a bike shenanigan frenzy.
Road tripped to Adelaide for theLeap Day Mega, caching all the way and trying to fulfil various challenges. This cache-which challenge/why? on your bike seriesTeamed up with Darkside Dan, Loc1612 and Tiz13 to find as many of these as we could. Early start each day and going hammer and tongs all day to achieve our goals. All caches sought were found.TFTC
The tree has been cut down, but the cache is still there. Nice to see Chantel's grave has been looked after.---Out on the bike trail with andy.gail, having completed one of the geoarts in the morning so now taking a stab at this one. A hot day, (by our kiwi standards) but at least it is not that crazy 40 degrees that it was a few days ago. Man, this country is dry!!The three of us set out with 10L water, fishing pole and ladder. They all got used, although the ladder not as much. Even some of the fishing caches were done as tree climbs! Fantastic day.We also had a full set of solutions, the result of almost a year's work preparing for this trip. I had some years ago completed the original geoart, the single bicycle, but then someone added all the rest, and I knew I had to return! Some of the caches will have additional notes (at the top). All signed as TAG for the Seagnoid, and andy.gail.
Today was the start of our assault on this Wherigo trail. We spent considerable time back home in preparation for today and we are finally at our start point. We were also lucky to have the company of 'the Seagnoid' for today's mission. Weather was perfect, company was perfect and so was the mix of caches from standard hides to tree climbing to fishing and ladder work. Logs signed as 'TAG' (the Seagnoid/AndyGail).Arrived to find the hint item chopped down. This seems to be only in the last few days as leaves had not yet died on the cut limbs. Cache was found hidden in a hole in the roots at the base of the stump. Might need a check to make sure cache is not carried away when/if cut limbs are cleaned up. TFTC#8068
GC6438P Chantel's MemoryA group of us are down from Darwin and Brisbane in preparation of the leap year event. Today was day 1 of hitting the bikes. To save space in the logs as signed as the BOLD7. Was meant to be BDLD7 but something got lost in translation. What a beautiful place for a memorial TFTC Trigger_Fish
Trawling through the BOLD07s finds and picking caches logged that missed my net. Thank goodness other team members are more diligent with their record keeping. Cheers Trigger_Fish et all for keeping this cache active.
Continuing on with my South Australian caching tour and the mad collection of caches in the state. I am again with the BOLD 7 and today it is going to be a mad assault on as many as we can get of the On your bike series. We are working from our digs down and first of collecting the around the world series and then heading towards sedan for the bikes and a few others as we pass along. There is so much to do and in such close proximity. It is surprising as to how well these caches are placed and have remained in place. It was to stop off and collect the caches and the traffic was a little hectic at times but manageable. Thanks for setting up these caches and maintaining the series. All caches were signed as BOLD 7 and replaced as found. The generic log signing is to save log replacements Found this one while doing the tour lol Thanks.
Out and about collecting more smilies. Signed with Leap mega team nickname BOLD9. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.
With our group BOLD7 entertaining ourselves as we head north to explore the country. Fab day collecting bikes and other menagerie! . Thanks to the SA cachers for awesome variety of caches.
How very exciting the big trip has finally arrived! Down from Brisbane with a host of other geo friends with plans aplenty, enough to almost see us needing to extend or make a return visit. Our geonick for the trip is BOLD7 which is guaranteed to save the log paper for the 7 individual members of the team. As we make our way around sadly there wont be time for the usual individual logs and therefore just the old generic log will have to do. With little extra notes here and there if needed. Thank you for your cache which has added to my wonderful caching holiday.
We travelled along this road, almost a year ago on our last visit to the area, but today were here again and have a little more time to stop along the way.We stopped here at GZ, and had been admiring the views all the way along down to the river below. People were camped at the river and given the heat off today Im sure they were swimming as well. We were happy to be driving in an air-conditioned car, and it was a blast of heat each time we got out of the car, but still a welcome thing to get back into the car again. Thanks moneydorkDomsky

Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.Staying a few days at Swan Reach. Grabbing whatever caches we can. Ohh I was reminded today how many hours we spent solving these jigsaws! Today we completed the last of the caches East of Swan Reach. TFTC Moneydork
One of six caches found after a FTF dash as I make my way towards my second objective of the day; the Roonka caches.
A bit of a sad start here with a young life cut way too short. A stunning spot for a memorial though. I presume all of the flat land down below has been under water recently. There is a picture of Chantel in the far corner too - I took the makeshift stile to indicated that we were allowed to enter the memorial area.
The cache itself was very easy to find; I’m guessing it has morphed a bit since the original cache description.
Thanks for bringing me to this spot Moneydork/Triggerfish.

Staying in Loxton for next 4 nights as got a good deal at the campground. Will finish off trail and other nearby caches. Enjoying the area and seeing how high the river got
We’ve talked about it for months, maybe a year, but this Easter we are doing it
Leader of our peloton and GC contender is weredunn4, who dances on the pedals just like Lance Armstrong did when attacking on the ascents (but without the blood doping )
Ably supported by domestiques WayneAPN, whose wattage bazooka’s have gifted him with a sprint that would be the envy of Mark Cavendish…….and lastly Cheezel1961, cast from the same mould as George Hincapie who would spend all day on the front of the peloton to protect his leader.
The support vehicle is loaded to the gunnels with TOTT’s and spare TOTT’s as we are after all the high T caches in the On Your Bike series and a few other odds & sods along the way.
This cache was quickly found, retrieved, log signed and returned to its lofty heights.
A great day out with many laughs and truckloads of trash talk

Found an awesome spot to camp. Great facilities!
Starting off the day with the Riddlers Roonka Rampage series before finishing off a few more OYBs on the east side of the Murray and paying a visit to Swan Reach.
I was looking forward to reading all about Chantel and who/what she was. Curious.

The Epic Road Trip with OzHockeyChick has now entered its New Year phase with today being Day 11. After setting up at Roonkas last night we are in for a more relaxed day of caching today. Having solved the Roonka puzzle geoart without realising how close we were to it, we are collecting this along with some tail ends of the Swan Reach side of On Ya Bike.
Back for an afternoon relax at camp by the water (water that is not normally anywhere near that close to the campground). An impressive sight to see this area in flood, despite the devastation it is causing many.
Battled with a large number of webs to access this one.
Thanks Trigger_Fish for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Day eight of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
Staying at Blanchetown, and traveled to Swan Reach for an AdLab and some lunch.
A lovely sunny warm day along the river.
Grabbed a few On Your Bike caches on the way, and any others we passed.
Being cachers we found the cache first, then noticed the memorials to Chantel on the way back to the car!
Paused to read all the nice things said about her.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19031. Day 8 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. Staying in Blanchetown on the river but today took a drive to Swan Reach for the AdLab and enjoyed lunch whilst watching the ferry crossing and re-crossing the river. A wonderfully sunny day of 21 degrees. Did so enjoy our drive along River Road to get there - the views from the cliff tops were wonderful. Loved seeing the raptors and pelicans enjoying their river lifestyle. Gathered a few On Your Bikes and other caches along the way there and back. All caches were in good condition (with a few logs that had been damp in the past).
We found the cache first and then and had a look at the memorial for Chantel - a heart-breaking poem written by her parents (presumably). Other memorials here too now. I wonder what the stories are.
Thanks Trigger_Fish

This one took a lot longer to locate than it should have considering it was in plain sight. Thank you for placing this here for us to find and pointing out what we would otherwise miss.
What a great idea for a geoart, a Penny Farthing Bike, beside the Uni-Cycle and a couple of other bikes out in the middle of nowhere, plus a long stretch to form the road. A few years ago, I found the first bike and the fish with a small group where we camped in the Loxton Caravan Park for a few days.
This time a much larger group of likeminded folks formed into two groups, the Vic 1 team and the “B” team.
While in the area we grabbed any that were close by.
A fun time was had by all and a great deal of thanks must go to the team that organised this great geoart.

Our first day on the "On Your Bike" Wherigo trail wth a group of Victorian friends. We formed into two teams. We were in VIC 1 with Maccamob, McLookers, The Pacman, Alansee, muzza, BeckNmonts and Rabbitto. We began at the Loxton end and concentrated on the caches that were off the main highway.
We made a small diversion to grab this one on our travels checking out the memorial before we made our find.

Noticed this trad amongst the wherigos and wasn't going to pass up the chance for another smilie.
An interesting if somewhat tragic memorial.
Thanks to Trigger_Fish for placing this cache for us to find.

We had spent a lot of time in and out of Lockdowns doing jigsaw puzzles to find the required numbers. Out on the road now. A lot of fun in the company of likeminded people.

Adelaide and South Australia Trip Christmas 2021/2022. Day 13. The next phase of my journey is underway. I am in Loxton with Fitzy_1965, MinnieK, Sol de Lune and Smitten Granny to attempt to finish the On You Bike where-i-go caches. We have managed to solve them all before we arrived. Day 3 in the Riverland. Today we left the van park bright and early again and picked up where we left off yesterday. After finishing the Bike caches, we moved onto traditional and Puzzle caches beyond Swan Reach.
This trip to Loxton had been a year coming as I had missed out last year due to other commitments. The group had increased and the target list of caches was much higher. It had been a group effort to deal with all the jigsaw puzzles and then the Reverse Where-i-gos were sorted out with the various online tools. The trip was looking at risk as the COVID situation stretched and stretched, but at least SA kept to its plans to open the borders and we all jumped through the hoops required to get across the border. The weather was looking extreme as the journey approached and it did not disappoint. The daytime temps were from 36-42 over the days of this exercise and it made for some hard work and lots of water usage.

Day 4: SA/Vic Christmas holiday trip
Last Christmas holidays, fitzy_1965 and I (along with two geo-kids, Death Killer & my_name_jeff_1) headed to SA to visit family whilst we could, and to collect as many counties and caches as possible along the way. We decided even before getting home that we needed to go back. The added incentive of more On You Bike series sealed the deal. Fast forward through 2021 (because who wants to remember that), and here we are again. This time with extra company in the form of Sol de lune, Smittengranny and albida33.
Today we again got up early to try and beat some of the heat (think it must have been over 40 at some point). We managed to finish the On Your Bike series and then went on to complete the OTD August series and a number of Unknown caches along the way.
All caches were signed as FAMSS and were found quickly and easily unless otherwise mentioned.

26,003. Found with minniek, Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 during our post Christmas / New Year trip over to South Australia and Victoria to tackle the On Your Bike and Paddle Steamer series among many other caches.
Today we started where we left off yesterday - just before Swan Reach. The goal being to finish the On Your Bike series finally ! All caches were a nice quick find - sometimes using the appropriate TOTT - unless otherwise stated. Signed as FAMSS. This was another long hot day.
When minniek and I were in South Australia in January this year (2021) doing the On Your Bike series of (then) 100 Wherigo caches, we were talking to the CO who mentioned that a whole lot more were soon to be published, and they were - 512 more ! So once back home we set about solving all those new ones which was at least something to do during 'stay at home' orders effecting us. Then once they were all solved we planned a trip over to grab them. Then just to add to the fun the latest 152 were published just in time for us to spend time solving them all so we could get the whole set. With our caching friends Sol de Lune, Smittengranny and albida33 this series was our main aim, but with the 'Around the World in 81 caches' series, various solved puzzles and the Paddle Steamer as standby if we got the time.
We managed some BIG days caching and finished off the On Your Bike series in three days, then attempted the mammoth 'Around the World in 81 caches' series and some lovely high/rare D/T caches - all in searing summer heat peaking at over 40 degrees ! Once they were finally completed we headed over to the Mildura region for another two blistering hot days doing the Paddle Steamer series. After camping for five nights we finally relented and got hotel rooms for the last two nights and worked the air conditioning to the bone.
All in all an amazingly fun time was had, and we have all made room in our calendars for when the next part of the On Your Bike series is published - no pressure ! Highlights included many of the fun tree climbs, the pole caches which increased our skills at the recovery and replacements of those styled caches, and the relaxed times and banter around the camp site at the end of each tiring day - including New Years Eve !
Thanks to all the COs for contributing their caches to our fun times, and I must apologise for the generic logs as we did find well over one thousand caches which now require logging !

Yesterday Fitzy_63, Albida33, Minniek, Sol de Lune and I found about 350 of the On Your Bike Series so today we wanted to get back out and find to the end of the series. It was forecast to be even hotter today than yesterday so we decided to head out early. Of course the plan didn't work. We finished early and attacked another group of caches rather than go back to camp early
It was another great day of caching thanks to all the COs and nearly all caches were found to be in good order. Those that weren't will have individual notes added later. Logs were signed FAMSS

A JAMS day had been organised (JJ52, mogni, Michells&hound and sir_spectre but no allister w) heading to Swan Reach for some of us to get the OTD buckets and clear our Swan Reach Conservation Park and for sir_spectre to finish the bike wherigo's. [^]
We had an early start with fog in the hills before it turned into a beautiful sunny day just perfect for caching. We saw lots of wildlife, the highlights being the emu crossing the road with her little baby quickly running in front of the car and a huge goanna that nearly landed on sir_spectre's head.
A fun day with a nice variety of caches found and we even managed the Adventure Lab while we were in Swan Reach.
Eventually put my hand on the cache.
Thanks for the cache Trigger_Fish.

Big day out today out and about near Swan Reach with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, sir-spectre, Mogni). We did a variety of different caches many of which some of the group had already done, but in the end we all ended up with a good haul for the day.
We saw lots of wildlife particularly on a crazy drive on a dirt road with incoming Roos from all sides and an emu with here baby. Later we saw a goanna in the street in Swan Reach and later another huge goanna up a tree.
It was a beautiful day with blue skies and sunshine. It was great to get the buckets done early in the day much easier to open.
All in all a great day out!!’
Not such a quick find at GZ but JJ52 got it in the end TFTC

Seems like a tragedy occurred here, we did not get chance to visit the memorial so our next trip we will see what it is all about. Thank you for the placement of the Chantel's Memory cache Moneydork.
Three Geo animals set out on a Wednesday Wander.
The day started out wet and cold, but changed into a lovely day.
The Adder and Rat met up with the Starfish at Sedan.
Then ventured on to the On Your bike Series, and any other caches.
There were big and small ladder climbs, tree climbs and some slipping and sliding.
A day filled with stories, adventure, laughter and caches.
We stopped here to pay our respect to Chantel.
Quickly had the cache in hand.
All caches were found and stamped by each of the geo animals. Tftc

A plan was hatched with Rapidlywild to attack some of the caching trails down in VIC/SA.
With the boarders slowly staying open we thought Easter might be a safe time to try since the QLD boarder was still too fragile to attempt going to the MEGA and it also looked like it could be rather wet there.
The group grew from two to six quickly after having a chat to GoodLook about our plans.
Our team “The Mob” now consisted of GoodLook, LíB, Rapidlywild, The Drovers and ourselves and feathertop joined us on day 4. This team ended up being very productive and some new friendships were made. Always a bonus in my book.
All logs were stamped with “The Mob” to save space and time.
Day 5 Headed to Swan Reach today to start with the harder terrains on the On Your Bike Series while we were all fresh and still had energy to burn.
With many ToTT's packed we were ready. Little did we know how high we were going to have to go on a few of them. But luckily The Drovers had the master solid ladder to do the trick.
All were easy enough to find as the red tends to stand out. Retrieval on some were more adventurous then others.
Picked this one up while doing the series close by. No issues with the hide.
Thanks for the hide Moneydork and thanks for the fun "The Mob"

For the first time in a long time, it was road trip time. With COVID-19 keeping everyone at home for so long, the borders were finally opening and the feet were itchy for a decent caching trip. Plans were made with FurfacesLL to do a 10 day road trip across to Mildura and Loxton to do a heap of caching and we were excited. Across the 10 days we racked up over 4,300km in driving, multiple hotels/motels, brought home enough red dust to create our own sand pit in the back yard and collected over 1800 finds between us. It was a massive trip and lots of fun was had.
We teamed up with GoodLook, FeatherTop, The Drovers and LiB and signed most logs as "The Mob". There were a few caches which were signed as individual team names as some teams had already completed said caches, those will be noted individually.
Our target caches were the Turtle Series, the Paddle Steamer Series and the On Ya Bike wherigo Series, heaps of other caches were also collected along the way but our primary target caches were completed which made us all very happy and very tired geocachers.
Onto day 5 and we decided to make our way to Swan Reach and do the caches West of there first, then make our way back towards Loxton. We picked up a few caches along the way, travelling along the way was GoodLook, The Drovers, LiB, FurfacesLL, FeatherTop and myself.
With a range of tools between all of us (multiple ladders of different lengths, fishing poles of different lengths, stamps, and a variety of other TOTT's), today was a very challenging day. We came across a range of difficult high T caches which involved all teams to work together to retrieve the cache safely. Must say, a few were rather dangerous, especially for anyone trying to attempt them without the appropriate gear. Some of the trees which the caches are attached to are very thin and being the type of tree, they are not very sturdy (some required the ladders to be placed against dead branches which is not very safe) Apologies for the generic logs, after soo many caches, it makes it rather difficult to remember individual caches within a series as large as this. Experiences are remembered, however against which cache they belonged to, no so much lol.
Picked this one up whilst in the area doing the On Your Bike series, no issues with the find, stamped and returned as found.
Thanks for the hides Trigger_Fish And thanks to "The Mob" for a trip to remember [^].

All caches are stamped as The Mob (consisting of The Drovers, LíB, FurfacesLL, Rapidlywild, feathertop and myself).
This cache was found whilst we were in the area completing the On Your Bike Series and surrounding caches.
2020 was not a great year, and the beginnings of 2021 have also been tricky - so when it looked like the various borders would be open again (without quarantine restrictions), a trip was spontaneously planned and I was able to pull together a number of my caching friends who hadn't cached together before to form "The Mob".
LíB and I started in SA, drove to Victoria and ended our trip in SA; FurfacesLL and Rapidlywild came from Canberra and The Drovers began their journey from NSW; and then a few days later, feathertop from Victoria, joined us to complete the On Your Bike Series and other caches in SA.
We filled our days with piling in cars, hard core caching, Adventure Labs, crazy funny CB radio chatter, some laughter, some tense moments (OMG some of the ladder and tree climbs on this trip were crazy!), lots of lovely meals and even live music from a band called "Kung Fu Jesus" - nope, that is no joke.
We had hot weather each day (well into 30s), so I am thrilled that I now own a car fridge to keep the drinks icy cold (loving them at about 1 degree celcius).
A sincere thanks to Moneydork for placing this cache.

We have bern going back through our hundreds of draft logsand find among other things that we have draft logs for multiple events and caches which we have attended or found. While the individual specifics of the events may have faded with time we are sure we chatted to a number of the usual suspects about the usual topics. It is also highly likely that we took the opportunity to eat and/or drink depending in the location. We dont mind a cappuccinoAnd the caches were found often with others on the same date and some on our own. Virtuals and DCs get on the list as we wait for replies to our answers, which to be fair we sometimes miss We are hoping to get our draft numbers down to a manageable level. So a belated thank you for your cache and apologies for the late log
Today, a small group headed out past Swan Reach and Loxton collecting a few geocaches. We then returned to my vehicle in Truro, and I then spent the next few hours visiting Truro, Angaston, and Nuriootpa picking up a few target geocaches, Adventure Lab Locations (waypoints), and a few others just along the way. A long day out and about in warm-ish weather.
I visited this cache with [@Brad&Janet](http://coord.info/PR8T99X) while out and about geocaching. A very interesting memorial, and I tried doing some further research on "Chantel Felice Andriske", but I couldn't find any information that lead to her unfortunate and tragic consequences. I would be interested to hear further information for interest sake. [@Brad&Janet](http://coord.info/PR8T99X) found this cache reasonably quickly, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Moneydork/Trigger_Fish for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
