Didn't want to lose an eye. After tentatively poking around the edges of this monster we decided 'buggar it'.
First for the day and it's always good to start with a find .
We thought we were tempting failure trying for a BBB cache first thing, but needn't have worried [:o)].
TNLNSL.
Thanks Tk2.

Well it’s 2021 and I have finally said good bye to a not so great 2020 and it was great to finally be able to have a reasonable holiday as I have not had a decent break since 2019.
Made to South Australia and finally crossing the boarder and then being greeted by a couple of very friendly SA police offices for which i had the official paper work to allow me to enter.
After making my way west along the Eyre Hwy I went as far as Penong and the Eyre Hwy which I have not travelled along since the late 70’s when I was on a holiday with my folks and this was the last holiday before I started full time work as a sparkie and finding a few caches as I go.
Geocaching when towing a van is not always easy and I have to be a bit selective on which ones I decide to try and find for safe parking purposes especially along busy highways.
So then it was down to the Eyre Peninsula to see the sites down there Venus Bay, Coffin Bay National Park and Lincoln National Park were some highlights and I will come back again to have a better look around.
So after nearly 2 weeks spent on the Eyre Peninsula it was time to start heading back to Victoria but another lockdown in Vic has just occurred so now to change my plans again.
So Port Germaine was my next target for the night.
Another morning spent driving in the rain as I have not had the best weather on this trip what ever happened to summer.
The rain has stopped and as I have rounded the the bay and heading back down south the weather is beautiful on this side of town.
I have finally reached my destination for the night which is Port Germein so time to set up.
Another nice day is beaconing so I did the pier walk early which in my mind I had walked half way to Whyalla by the time I got to the end.
So now to tackle some caches around the town then widen my search area.
Being from Vic I have not heard of any of the BBB caches before but there is always a first.
Approaching GZ I thought to myself not another one of these caches as I have done a few previously and ended up with battle scars to prove it.
Luckily I only ended up with a couple of scratches retrieving this one.
Added my name to the log and on to the next one.
Thanks Tk2 TFTC.

A quick find - I admit to checking the hint because the search could have been endless and prickly, and I didn’t fancy that. Thanks for the hide.
Phew that’s a long jetty. Didn’t have the energy to find the cache near jetty so went for the cactus. Easy find. Tftc
Away for a caching trip to the Arkaroola area.
A bit of 4 whell driving, lot's of dust and for me 3 punctures. These cut my trip short by a couple of days.
Surprisingly easy find.

Found the cache itself but it's obviously fallen and we were unable to get to it to write in the log
Nice solo caching day.
Found some great caches, good containers, superb views, workouts, climbs, drivebys, old caches...
and a few mint tins too!
Kept going into the night and early next morning too.
Hooray !
Another Bradley cache...
Luckily didn't have to reach in that far, so almost a drive by.
Nothing spilt here today!

**Find #3009**
I was ever so careful extracting the cache, but not careful enough. Drew blood getting this one.
Thanks **Tk2**

Well after it drawing blood, I couldn't find it. This is my 4th DNF for today. Maybee some local has cleaned them up.TFTC.
A quick stop here, not a fan of these caches
Today we headed home from woomera to Adelaide, with 5 hours of driving ahead and no restrictions on timing to return home we decided to do some caching along the way.

As we wander the great land seeing the sights, this is one of the caches we have done.
Thanks to Tk2 for placing the cache for us to find.

Each time we visit South Australia we try to find at least one Big Bad Bradley cache but we have not always succeeded. When this cache presented itself as we left Port Germein we stopped to try our luck. We circumnavigated the cacti once and were lucky to see the cache. With the aid of a stick, we were able to coax the container from its prickly hide and we were able to retrieve it without injury. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Tk2 for the cache as we have now found one BBB for this trip.
Came to stay at Rawnsley Park for a few days. A great place. Picked up a bunch on the way home. Tra La Laaa
Found with Csaba! and SupaOrange on a big road trip. Stayed for a night nearby. Turtle Out
Driving back to Adelaide after a fun trip in the Flinders Ranges with SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Thanks
I am SO not fond of BBB hides in deadly plants like these [:o] but none the less am always up for a challenge so in i went ha ha. I Always, ALWAYS! get pricked even with my best efforts to not get stabbed or cut, it still happens lol..... well today at 10:48 i never got stabbed once and saw the booty and dove in for it. It was then i feared the worst but Big Bad Brad was kind to me today and surrendered the cache no argument [^] Gotta love that.... who am I kidding [:o)]
SL at 10:48 on Monday the 17th of June 2019.
As i returned the cache right where i found it, i bunted a very pointy end of the Cacti.... i mean, how predictable was that, yet it never actually penetrated my finger, wow! dodged a bullet there me thinks. With the cache back i was outta there before i was potentially hacked to death lol
TFTC Tk2.
{Wee Blue Birdy-1... BBB-0}, this time.
I know that score will be evened up on my next BBB attempt lol

It was the final day of the Quorn Quondam Quest (QQQ) weekend event, and it was a day of some local geocaching around Quorn, geocaching to the Pichi Richi Railway Woolshed Flat Train Station CITO event, a climb with Laighside Legends to Mount Brown, and then traveling back to Adelaide in the evening.
I had previously tried looking for this one whilst being out this way before, however it turned out to be missing. Since it has been replaced and recent finds, I made sure to make a detour past here to have another look. It didn't take long to find actually, and no blood shed from me today. Thanks Tk2.

On our way home after having fun at the Quorn JLW events, we dropped into town to have some lunch.....very disappointed to see that whilst eating our lunch the donut van had closed it's doors...damn we were looking forward to some..maybe next time. We started off to find this cache that had us stumped 12mths ago when we were here on holiday last. YAY at last we get rid of the sad blue face on the page. TFTC a quick find today.
Don't usually go for these but Mr matmob wanted to walk down the jetty and I didn't so finding a cache was a good way to fill in the time. Only 2 drops of blood shed
Unexpected stay in pirie was a good excuse to grab a few local caches. We don't have a good track record with BBB so glad to get a smiley for this one, TFTC!
Looking like Big Bad Bradley (wouldn’t think that this is Billy’s real name lol) is having fun out in the sticks.
Had lunch at Pt Germein, enjoying the views over yonder.
Thanks for sharing this interesting town.

After staying near Port Augusta last night, today we ventured further along the road with ilook4geo and just put a few caches on the list for the day.
There was no problem in finding this one and the cache container was extracted very carefully from its position. A quick signing happened, all was put back as it had been found and we were on the move agaon. Thank you to Tk2 for this cache placement.

Out and about today and doing some caching along the way with goingplaces2. Found all the ones that we wanted to look for and each one was signed as next on the list. Thanks to all the COs who placed these caches.
Halfway home - well kind of - so what better way to have a rest break than pick up a quick cache at PG. Happy New Year and TFTC
This one is going to change my BBB actions into the future. I had started driving quickly away from a BBB in fear and terror with every intent to never look at one again. After today they are going back on the list. TFTC
I wish I found all BBBs after owner maintenance!!
Thanks Tk2. and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

Looked and tried to take on from various directions, but just no go. There was a small geotrail nearby, but searched thoroughly around there and just couldn't find. Oh well. Dang you BBB.
You pwned us n00bs.
We will return.
Played round and round the BBB bush a number of times. You win. [:(!][:(!]

No luck today. Even with a few laps of BBB. It’s probably in there somewhere. Dastardly.
Nope, not searching in that. I walked around once and then continued on my way.
I was overthinking this one, but quick find once I started looking in the right place! TFTC!!
Found nice and easily on a cool and overcast day. I am glad we got this one; the last attempt at a Big Bad Bradley was a hopeless case of scratching around with nothing to report afterwards! Thanks for this one.
A quick and easy park and grab and get poked and spiked.
Thanks for the cache Tk2. Found on 14 Oct 2017 at 1:36 pm. Find #5227.

I haven't had much success on these lately, but hadn't been to this particular one before, I don't think.
Well I had it, without being pricked within 2 mins! Yay!

Had a good look but came up empty handed. Might be worth a look from CO as it hasn't been found for sometime, despite not DNF's.
