1130. 12:31 pm. Found it! Seeing as it's archived and I don't want to maintain this one down a backroad, I've grabbed the container to repurpose. TFTC(and camo).

Enjoying exploring the backroads today. A lovely pair of trees. Cache was hiding really well, took a few mins to find. TFTC
This cache completes the tour of my old stomping ground. Good to see nothing has changed! Cache was a nice park and grab, with a great view! Tftc.
Been a long day of caching for me and FMZ and Lostcourse, we are ambling along in FMZ's 4WD and we came here to these two excellent trees side by side as such. Parked pretty close to one of them and while them 2 searched one side I was off to the other side, eventually I made the find here and signed us all in. Great location for a hide ANZ.
Out and about with FMZ, 404 and Gorby for an epic days caching around lower Northland. It was a very early start in Auckland, then caching our way to Dargaville, before heading half way back to Auckland by heading down the peninsula to Pouto, then back to Dargaville again. Now we are making our way back to state highway one via these rural back roads. It has been a great day weather wise, clear skies and great views. Anyway, we parked up close to GZ and got to searching. I and FMZ did the full 360 around one of the twins while Gorby and 404 tackled the other. With no find to be had at our designated area we resorted to watching the remaining search efforts at the twin. I think Gorby found it in the last (or very close to last) spot that could conceal a hide. Cheers for the cache placement!
I've never been down this road or to this area. Not much further along I came to Mititai Rd. My sister in law lives right at the bottom on the Dargaville side of that road. I knew that was a long road but interesting to see where it comes out on this side. It was nice to see the twins here but it might be tricky for big trucks to get through in later years. I made a quick find of the cache. These double pill bottle systems seem to do a great job of keeping the logs in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
We decided to get way for Easter and stay in Pahi with Merlot58 and Aiden29. Our last day for caching so we stayed closer to our abode as we had ventured wider in the previous 3 days. Lots of unsealed roads today. We were able to search both sides of the road at the same time so made it a quick and easy find
Up north with Jag50 and Aiden29. It was our last day staying in Pahi so we decided to focus on caches in the area before heading home. We could investigate both sides of the road at once so it was a quick easy find
Headed up North with Jag50 and Merlot58 to stay in Pahi for the long weekend. Last day on our holiday and we spent it collecting caches close by. We split up and searched both sides simultaneously to turn up the cache.
Out for the day Blackberry picking with the kids and decided to get this cache while here. Beautiful views love this spot tftc.
Easy enough but yet again kiwis are tight asses not leaving anything in the cache! We did leave something!
so nice to be out enjoying a wee country drive with Supernannie today. lovely set of twins and views. had a good look about the 1 st twin and came up empty haned. Supper nannie was very quick to make the find over at the other twin . been on my list to do , so was nice to have a smilie now thx.
We weren't sure which twin at first !
Took a bit of looking and poking around....when we found it we wondered how we'd missed it !
Thanks !

in the area, moved the container a few inches to accomodate the passage of time and upgraded log container to the latest version..
Out for the day to help with a Car Club event at Waiotira, so what better to do on the way home, but to look for some caches. Never been on these back roads in Northland before. Cache was a quick find with the good clues and absolutely no muggles to worry about.

Found on 29/12/16, my last day of geocaching for 2016. Really good to get out and about on these back roads close to home, and to drag Dad along with me. Cache bone dry and in fine condition, and no muggles for miles. Tftc!
We were not sure what to expect as we drove up Pikiwahine Rd, but when the twins came into sight they exceeded our expectations. What a lovely view! Thanks for bringing us here to see them.
A little while ago an idea was thrown about to head north for a final caching roadtrip for the year. So along with C&D a rough plan was formed with a certain few caches, a confluence point visit, an event to attend, and the rest of the plan was to be made up as we went along. So with a 2am start Saturday morning in Hamilton it was going to be a long weekend. Also Alpenmilch80 had decided to join in on the fun as well.
Heading over to Dargaville ways to visit a confluence point so we thought we'd take a more direct route and grab a few caches along the way than to stick to the main highway. I picked the wrong twin and spent all my time hunting in the wrong spot. Alpenmilch80 took the other one and it wasn't until C&D had turned the car around and jumped out to join in on the search that the cache was found. Maybe that early start is starting to take it's toll.

Up early this morning with HKCB for a last caching roadtrip for the year and a chance to complete a number of missions that we had set ourselves.
Left Hamilton at 2am (it was about to be quite a long day), the day was at a much more reasonable hour by now aswe made our way into early afternoon.
This was our thirty fifth cache of the day and having met up with Alpenmilch80 earlier.
Having completed the MCSeries we headed over west to grab the last of our confluence points needed for a challenge that HKCB and I have been working on, so of course it was time to collect a few along the way.
Thanks for the placement, THanks for the cache

On a geocache hunt together with Cats&Dragons and HKCB caching our way up to Whangarei. It was a great day on the road with some very good cache finds . On our way to Dargaville to find a Confluence. TFTC
