CDAH55 I didn’t find your cache Lake Doonella Wetlands on 4/8/2022, 2:39 pm. Nope, searched around but nothing found.
Nice stroll down the path.

Poked and proded every where no luck will see if we can come down another day for another look
Ah so this one had us searching a while. M had a look through the photos and concentrated his search using one of them and bingo there it was! Fav point awarded simply because the hide was unexpected!
Well, took more than a year to get back to this one after a DNF back in June last year and wasn't feeling confident that I would find it this time.
Phone GPS bounced around all over the shop, jumping 3 to 5 metres in all directions.
But I won this time.

Was about to quit because of the mozzies, but spotted just as I turned around.

When we saw GZ my wife and I both assumed this should be a pretty quick find and the secret competition between us ramped up into full gear. I know that stubborn beeyarch is keeping a secret find count between us and is just waiting for the perfect time to let me know how far in front she is.
Like all intelligent women, or should I just say women, I know she is in no hurry to knock me down a few cogs when it is most needed. It could be days, weeks or years from now but I know it’s coming. I have to admit I have respect for saving a burn until it’s most warranted.
Our quick find today evaporated before we knew it. I felt like we had looked everywhere and poked at everything. My wife said she felt a bit giddy from getting up and down so much so I told her to take a seat and read some logs for any clues. I needed that time to make the find myself.
After she had read through everything I decided we would be better off logging a DNF and starting the walk back to the car when she exclaimed that she might have it. It took a bit of coaxing out of its hole because it was buried with dirt but while I was happy she made the find, I also knew that I was further in deficit on the secret tally count. My plan is to foil her plan by never appearing happy again. tftc

We had a dnf here a few days ago went back today it was in the first place I looked. How often that happens. Just had to think a bit more about its hidey place. Log was quite wet have dried the container and log as best I could before signing. Great hide fav from me. TFTC
I was staying up at the Sunshine Coast over the weekend as my wife has a work conference to attend at Noosa. I originally had intended to spend the morning hunting caches by kayak but a late change of plans on Friday meant I would be heading out to find caches on foot instead.
It was only on the walk to GZ from my chosen parking spot that I realised I could have parked a good deal closer. Nevertheless it was a pleasant stroll to GZ along the path. Once at GZ I had to bide my time as a muggle walking her dog gradually sauntered past. After checking all the usual hides I began searching other potential locations where the well hidden cache was eventually found. TFTC

Loved this cache. After getting lost a little because we are still getting used to the gps, had an awesome scooter adventure past the lake. Cheers Goracs Team

First of all I’m going to give this one a flavor point. That was a tricky little hide nicely done.
Thanks CDAH55 for another cool find.

Have had this one on watch for some time after a previous visit, then spotted that Haelf had 'posted a note', so came in search today. Certainly not where we expected to find the little blighter but got there in the end. TFTC CDAH55
We are over here from Kapiti NZ escaping our winter and seeking some sunshine - we have not been disappointed. After a pleasant walk to GZ we had a good search for this tricky cache but sadly to no avail. Oh dear.
Quick and easy find. Mist have been lucky.
The log was signed and returned to the cache and the cache replaced exactly as found.
All is good with this cache.
Find #???? Who cares

An afternoon bike ride to picked this one up after not finding it on past visits. TFTC
well this one was fun. after discarding all obvious areas it wouldnt be. we scanned for the obvious cacher hides and there it was. tftc
Found it while out biking spent half an hour looking in every cave - about to leave when - o there is was great hide lovely area thanks
Searched and searched then saw it just sitting on top of the rocks. Looks like someone left it out to dry. Have put it back where we think it should be. Found with ZapCyril. TFTC
Out in the Cooroy/Tewantin area today to do some caching with The red dwarf and Poco-yo crew.
Wow great cache! Not what we expected.
Fp from us.

Out for a day's caching with secret 7p , and red dwarfs. that was cool! I love it. Ingenious. So many places it could be, but isn't. Fp from me. Gracias
Passing through the area today I decided to detour and grab a few caches.
After parking nearby it was a short stroll to GZ where the search began. A few muggle interruptions didn't help and even did standing on my head. I resorted to a PAF but that didn't help either. [B)]
So with the same muggles coming past again I decided to head off and come back later. I returned a couple of hours later and back at GZ checked a spot that I missed earlier as mother nature had added her touch of camo which was very good!
I soon had the beast in hand and the log extracted.
Once the log was signed all was returned as found.

Came back a couple days later, struggled to see anything. Just before I gave up, Haelf managed to spot it where we were just sitting. Tricky, but fun.
This was our second attempt at this one. We were armed with a bit of a hint from Wesso and this time we actually spotted the hide as we were approaching. How could we have missed this last time?! TNLNSL TFTC
After some misleading clues dad manged to spot this one on the rock. TFTC CDAH55
Clever hide. I wasn't having any luck and I almost sat down to rest but saw something that looked out of place. Sure enough the cache appeared! TFTC. Fav point from me.
This one took Genyo and I a while to find. We searched what we thought was every nook and cranny and searched again but had no luck. On our final go over Genyo spotted something odd and we had the cache. Tftc!

Had a couple visits with no results while ducking walkers and cyclists on the track, the new hint gave us new hope and sure enough we managed a find. A great hide, thanks.
In the area again and thought we could have another go at this one after success on another previous DNF today. Looked in all the spots relating the hint (or so I thought) with still no luck and starting to get frustrated again, when J poked somewhere and came up with the goods.
It sure is tricky - really right in front of you but so well hidden. There are so many other caves that seem more likely.

Found 1240 hrs
Well this one took ages.........The hint was no help either....lol
After checking all the possible locations I eventually, after about 20 minutes found the little sucker in a place that I had touch previously!!
So, to everyone going looking for this, here's a hint.......KEEP LOOKING lol
Once I extracted the cache from it's hidey hole I signed the log and replaced it exactly as I found it.

Second to find!!
This cache has been on my radar for a while now, so today we decided we would stop and have a look.
Arrived at GZ and started checking the obvious places. After a while of searching in the heat it wasn't looking hopeful. As we waited for some muggles to pass I sat down on the rocks and ..... score!! The log was then signed and the cache returned to it's sneaky hide.

Next tricky one was this one and we rocked up to GZ.
Surveyed the area and I soon had the cache in hand.
Signed the log and returned to hide.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks CDAH55 All good with this cache

This cache has had a few DNF however it is still in place. Due to the difficulty of finding this cache, I have increased its rating a notch.
After three DNF on this cache, I thought that I should take a look to see if it was still there. A check revealed that they cache is in place as originally hidden. I also note that the cachers who recorded the DNF are fairly new to the game and may be expecting something different. A look at the size of the cache on the cache page should give some clue as to what you might be looking for.
Everything is good with this cache for plenty to find.

No luck with this one on my caching adventure afternoon in Noosa today. Looked between all the rocks and in little caves on both sides of the creek and all ends of the bridge but couldn't spot it. As school kids were starting to appear on the path, I gave up the search for today and will keep a look out for more clues. Must be a case of cache blindness on this one.
Ahhhhhhh although at exact coordinates it remains elusive..... Till next we meet.
Found the little sucker!
Had a lot of trouble with the co-ords, and memories of Drop bears and luckily found it before I jumped in the water.
Nice hide thanks Chris.
