Velk cesta do Ocenie - den 22 - Erldunda - Yulara, Northern Territory (250 km)Austrlie je zatm ped mm zatracenm zachrnna ! Velk brmbolec alias kopec Uluru nebo Ayers Rock ji zachrnil. Zatm ! I mrn kopeek udl stran mnoho. Rzn domky v zahrad, restaurace, bazny, obchody atd. Zajmav obrazy a vtvory aboriginskch umlc. Pak u jsem dobhla dom a udlala si odpoledn rest. My road trip continues on the Lasseter Hwy to Yulara. The Desert Oaks Resort in Erldunda was tragic so I am glad to be out. Today I drived only 250 km to Yulara and here the resort is really a resort so I can enjoy the next 3 nights and 2 days in peace. I'm really looking forward to walking in the national parks and the famous rock Uluru. There aren't many caches here, but I'm sure I'll hunt some just like today. Thanks for all caches I visited and greetings from Czech republic.
On my roundtrip along Australia with Oopie we are douing always some caches.Today we ware on the way from Adelaide to Uluru and we did a few nice caches.CO thanks for bringing us on this nice place and make this cache.
Together with Travelser I'm going Down Under. We are driving around with a motorhome. Started on the 17th September in Cairns. Our plan is driving.along the eastcoast down. Then in the south on to Adelaide and from there ending the 31th October in Alice Springs.During our trip we of course search for several caches. Most of them brought us to very nice spots, like this one.All the CO's, and in this case wazza9, thanks for bringing us here and give our trip a special accent.
Found by The Empire + HLeaving behind the lunar-like landscapes of Coober Pedy, we set out... Our destination: Yulara, the gateway to one of the world's most iconic natural wonders, Uluru. The road, once again, stretched endlessly before us, cutting through the vast, arid expanses of the Australian outback. The sky above was a brilliant blue canvas, unmarred by clouds, and the sun beamed down with unrelenting intensity, casting a warm glow over the ancient land.Amid the desert's raw beauty, we spotted pockets of vibrant life. Hardy desert plants clung to the earth, their resilience a testament to nature's ability to thrive in even the harshest of environments. Surprisingly, we didn't spot any kangaroos, but emus were a common sight, their distinctive forms gracefully roaming the arid landscape. Another quick find along the way, thanks for the cache wazza9.- M
An easy find while traveling to Yulara for work, I had the rest area to myself. A cache visit is always a good excuse to spend a few minutes out of the car. Thanks for the cache wazza9.
Quick find after doing a roadside wheel alignment on the camper trailer.
Lots of birds around the tank looking for water so filled the bowl for them.

We’ve called in here a few times, signed the original log sheet, but as normal forgot to log on line, it was trickier back in those days cos there was no internet service along the way back in the good old days
We’ll we’re back again and signing our name on the newer log sheet, and happy to put a smiley here today.
Thanks for the stopover

Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin and down through the Centre. We made an early morning start to visit Uluṟu and found this hide on the way back to Erldunda at the end of our day. Only one van parked up nearby at 4pm so we had no problem locating the container. Added a fresh log sheet. Thanks for the hide.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches along our route. We made the find on the way back to our caravans after a day at "The Rock" and the Olga's. TFTC wazza9.
Found this while driving across the outback. Visiting from the USA. TFTC. Tennis Girl
Day 29 of our greynomad trip up north and after a the JLWEvents, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, we are attempting to escape the southern weather that has been wet and windy. Now we must have received too much of something at Maralinga because I've forgotten how to count and lost 3 days of our tour, but I'm back on track now.
This was a quick find on the way to Uluru today, and it is finally good to have some sunshine, even though it is still cool,

Found during three weeks away with e.gregory1 on a trip along WA's Great Central Road and a caching circuit of the WA Goldfields. We travelled North on the Stuart Highway and out to Kings Canyon to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From there we headed in a south-westerly direction along the Great Central Road with a number of detours along the way, including Surveyor Generals Corner and Empress Spring. Then it was down to Laverton and Leonora before turning South to Menzies and Kalgoorlie. A few days were spent on a circuit back up to Lake Carey and around to Queen Victoria Spring before returning to Kalgoorlie, then out to Coolgardie, Kambalda and Norseman, and heading for home along the Eyre Highway. Thanks for the cache wazza9!
Found on another enjoyable trip with FeatherWaite over 3-weeks through South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. This time the plan was to head up to Kings Canyon, across to the WA border via Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, then down the Great Central Road, with a few side-trips along the way before eventually getting to the Goldfields and then home via Queen Victoria Springs and the Eyre Highway.
We had some mixed weather to start, with a few overnight showers, but warm temperatures and mostly sunny days.
The cache was a quick find and was in good order.
Thanks wazza9 for the cache.

Quick and easy grab on our way back from Uluru to Alice Springs. TFTC & Greetings from
We are on our way to uluru. There is a lot of driving to be done with not much in-between so it is always good to stop for a cache. My partner found this one as I searched the wrong end.

Family reunion after 3 long years! Ms Emu’s parents came over from Germany and the Emus took them on a couple of road trips down the Mornington peninsula, along the Great Ocean Road, to the Grampians and on an adventure around Alice Springs, Uluru and Kings Canyon.
Found on our trip from Uluru to Kings Canyon on a very hot day, even in the shade it was too hot to have a break here. We filled the birds bowl with some water and then quickly found the cache. TFTC

Together with my favorite geocacher Milonguera we traveled to Australia We went to Melbourne via Singapore and from there we explore the south, the center and the east coast.
We walked around Melbourne and had a nice meet & greet event. Than we visited Philip Island with the pinguins and the Great Ocean Road. We fed and petted kangaroos visited the koalas and continued north via Coober Pedy to Alice Springs. We hiked around the impressive Uluru and through the beautiful Kata Tjuta.
**Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for showing the location and for hiding the cache. You should come to Berlin in Germany to find a lot of interesting geocaches, visit lost places in the surrounding Brandenburg and meet nice people at many events.
I wish you a lot of fun and great adventures while searching for the next geocache!**
Thanks for the cache!

On the way back from Canyons Creek we stopped for this Cache. Nice hidden and guarded by a little Gecko. Tftc
Very challenging to find it without phone connection and clues. We were lucky to sit at the right table!
On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, a nice quick find at an empty rest stop, thanks for placing this cache
On our way from Kings Canyon to Ayers Rock, we stopped for a few caches. This was one of them. Fantastic tip. Tftc.
This took some getting out. The cache unfortunately was shoved in a unreachable spot but we luckily had our geo bag with tools and Mr and Ms E worked together to gimme it out. We signed the cache and left it in near same spot out of sight but reachable without special tools. Glad we had the geobag of tools and it is the first time we had to use it in three weeks. One starts feeling foolish having a bag of stuff taking up space until events like this making it worth it.
Cache is in good condition and this area looks like a great overnight spot. It was very clean and off the road. We will keep it in mind for the next time we come through. TFTC

Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.

Came on the way to the rock but muggles literally at gz, so found it on the return from the rock. quick find.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

My husband and i are on a 8000km plus geokms trip from Brisbane to Uluru and today we are making our journey back home from having a great stay at Uluru Sails. We had plenty of time so we stopped to pick up some smileys on the way to Alice Springs. At GZ we used the hint to find this cache. The log book was missing so put in a new one. Thanks for the fun
