I am regretfully archiving this cache since unfortunately there has been no action to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Jasonctkong, requesting additional time, and it appears abandoned.

Caches archived under these circumstances are unable to be Unarchived, and this location is now available for the placement of a new cache.

##Cache Maintenance Required please.##
This geocache has been brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit, to address the issue described in the logs.
The cache owner needs to either fix the problem or archive the listing, after picking up any geo-litter. In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page.
See the maintenance section of the [Geocache Hiding Guidelines](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance).

If there is a good reason for a delay in enabling this cache, please post an update note log here on the cache page so that everyone will know what's going on.
When the maintenance is completed, you can re-enable the listing by entering an "Enable Listing" log, and then post an "Owner Maintenance" log to clear the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, if set.

I will check back in 30 days to be sure that the maintenance has been done, or that further information has been provided.

If there has been no action to repair the cache, or explain the situation, unfortunately I will need to Archive this cache. Caches archived because of lack of maintenance will not be unarchived.

The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is out there to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches.

Thank you

This cache perhaps seems to have been abandoned? Bees in cache location and cache container has degraded. Several comments re maintenance go unheeded.

03-Jan-21
The bees beat me. Decided not to search with a hive of bees in my face

07-Dec-20
Can't access whilst bee hive is there unfortunately.

25-Nov-20
Found host, but it was too dangerous to access cache due to hive of bees. Maintenance or archiving suggested.

17-Oct-20
Found the cache but it really needs some work done. The tree is now home to a swarm of bees and the container is in disrepair.

Out for a morning run in the area. I don't get down this way too often. I looked in a couple of places before I found it. It would have to be one of the rustiest mint containers I have ever found, There is not too much left of it. In fact I wasn't even sure it was the cache until I opened the plastic bag.

A quick find on the cycle home from uni this arvo! Had to shelter at the nearby recreation centre for a short period due to a passing shower, but soon made the quick find of the cache. Cache blended in well in its surroundings, I had to have a second look!

[hard find but cool spot] [spoliers] In the biggest tree

22-Jul-16
Awesome little cache, you do need to poke about to find it so take a stick.

20-Jul-16
It's always the way isn't it? Everyone else finds the cache within moments of arriving and you circle the object a hundred times with no luck whatsoever!

01-May-16
Oops! Surprised Sorry for the late log, I only just realised I had not logged these yet when I uploaded some field notes from the weekend!

I had the opportunity to stop for a few caches after a nearby bike ride, and this was the fourth and last of them. I had the bike in the back of the car so couldn't venture too far away from it, so luckily this was a relatively quick and easy find.

Thanks for the cache Jasonctkong!

20-Apr-16

My GPS had me searching about 9m away but it quickly became apparent where the hide would likely be found. Quick find after resorting to logic rather than depending on technology.

A nice quick find here in the obvious spot Big Grin. It was very quiet here at this time of the morning too Smile

With the weather starting to get a bit better and the days lengthening out, I headed away from home early this morning to grab some smileys on the way to work. This was one of the targets for the day!

Terrible morning for a cycle. It is ride2work day, so I couldn't not cycle when I usually cycle on a Wednesday anyway. I stopped for free brekkie and a chat with friends at the Concert Hall. Just as I was about to leave, it started raining. Sadly it didn't stop for the next hour and a half which is the time it took to ride to GZ and then back to work in Claremont. Thankfully this was a quick find since I was already pretty drenched and didn't want to be standing around long. I was first to sign the new log which was nice and dry inside its ziplock bag. Thanks for the cache jasonctkong.

11-Oct-15
Hello geocachers
Teamwaterford just repaired the cache by adding a ziplock bag to protect it from sprinklers

10-Oct-15
Log sheet is saturated and very difficult to sign. Needs to be dried out or replaced and put in a ziplock bag to protect it from the elements or the sprinklers in the park.

10-Oct-15
Found the cache on an early morning bike ride on my new bike. (My previous one was stolen). Easy find, but the cache needs maintenance as the log is saturated. I did not have anything with me to replace it. Next finder might like to bring some log paper and a small ziplock bag. Thanks for the cache.

06-Oct-15
Took a detour through Waterford this arvo to have a go at a couple of the new caches in the area. Parked up nearby here and spotted the container quite quickly.

Jasonctkong I found your cache at 4:24pm, this was the 1st of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2330. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.
