This was a little tricky as the coordinates put me in the flax plants. I decided that the cache would probably be somewhere else. Took quite a bit of searching around the obvious area to locate the cache. It may be time for an update of the coordinates. TFTC

GPS was pointing me towards the flax, and as much as I love searching through flax, thankfully that was not the case today. Found in a much more likely spot per the logs and history, TFTC

A nice quick find after failing a wee while ago. Of course, as I approached GZ, the train turned up! I waited around the corner then made a quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. Ms_KR and I are out and about around Nelson today. A lovely day for a drive and a bit of a cache.Occassionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs.Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.

Nice old railway building, thanks for sharing the history of the place. No train today, despite being Saturday, all was quiet. Easy find with previous cacher photo. Logbook is a small card and a new logbook would help, container is in good condition. Thansk for placing this here !

Found this one after Doing Tranquil Gardens Ad Lab.

Took us a few minutes but we found it eventually!

Day 2 with Supernannny and Net61 in Nelson exploring this part of the country. A quick find with help of viewing previous logs, whilst completing the adventure lab. TFTC

So tricky to avoid muggles here … it’s a favoured dog walk. Thanks for the cardboard temporary replacement log Dutch Kiwis.

We were here some time ago and could only spot an empty box under the building. Today the same result but now by checking the log photos I was sure that this must have been the original cache. So I replaced it in a hopefully muggle-safe spot.

See picture attached to this log as a hint to the new location!
Feel underneath and replace next to the stone to prevent rolling/blowing away.

P.S. Had no proper log paper on me, so I used some cardboard. Feel free to replace with some proper paper, thanks!

Saw an empty container under the house, but couldn't reach it. Is it still in place?

There were no muggles around today so we didn’t need to use stealth and made a nice quick find.
It looks like there used to be more to this one but now it’s just hanging. Still a great cache though.

Was completely lost but managed to find it under the building. Assumed it was the cache and got one of the kids to get a stick and use her legs to move it. Managed to get it and moved it to a more sturdy place. TFTC.

Day 13 - Labour weekend extended road trip with Kiwicampnut - relocated to stay south of the ditch.
Noone here today - no trains and no other tourists.
Nice hide but the hint no longer matches. Yes, it's a bit overgrown in here so was pleased to spot the cache from several meters away.

On a trip with Ruru_NZ to gather the tour caches needed or in my case not done yet. Should be able to knock them off on this trip.

Did after the ad lab but had trouble as the hint item is no longer there. It’s was just attached. Not my favourite types of vegetation either.

Third find of the morning on another school holiday caching outing. We're targeting kid friendly ones so this was a good one to do and tied in nicely with a visit to the Japanese garden. TFTC

TFTC. I did not realise I had forgotten to log these caches from my Easter trip to Nelson.

What bad luck - the train pulled up just as I was about to grab the cache. I just used patience.

We were doing a waypoint of the Ad Lab and saw this cache nearby. As we were sussing it out the train full of passengers arrived so we watched while they changed the track and headed back. Then it was into a less than favorite hide material but this was something different and fun. Thanks for the placement

Once found it was obvious in the tree. TFTC

The blackberry is getting away making this cache harder to get too. Luckily once you get close the cache is quite visible. I was able to walk along the top of a log.

Out doing the adventure lab at the Miyazu Gardens and thought get this one too, TFTC all in good order.

A bit of a walk around bushes to find the best way to get here, but then a quick find.
Not many people around, except for a couple of dog walkers.
I dived in and had a look around, a bit further and spotted the container. Not sure if it was where it was meant to be, but left it at the same spot as found.

Beautiful seaside sunset

Out with my new caching crew Missnboyz and Tjacks1. Took a while to find this one.. wandering around and then aha I spotted it. Logbook was very soggy. We have dried the cache container out with tissues, put in a replacement log in a new plastic baggy but left the soggy old log there (outside bag) if Co wanted to collect and dry out.

Attempted to find this on my cycle trip from Dodson Valley to stoke. Didn't see anything like the descrption. Any searching could only manufacture some occasional rubbish. It was a nice place to stop & have lunch at least. Didn't catch a train though.

A beautiful day and a nice walk (between exercises and supermarket) and a cache. While waiting for a conected train found the/ a new box. TFTC

# fifth day

The three of us were in the area for a birthday day out and took the opportunity to explore the Japanese Garden and search for this cache. We had a good look around for it and spotted a likely-looking object in the air. It did turn out to be the log container, but didn't seem to be in the format suggested by the hint.

It was raining too much on the west coast so i headed up to Nelson to restock and move into the warm weather. While up here i hiked around a lot of the hills. I can see why people love mountain biking around this area. And i picked up a lot of caches along the way. Thanks for placing them.

Kids enjoyed hunting through the plants until it was spotted higher up.

What a beautiful day, after yesterdays torrential rain we were very happy to see the warm sunshine today.
We decided to head out to find a few caches that would help towards the current Mystery at the Museum challenge and to prefund a few caches that would get us through the next (and last) week of our streak. We are in countdown mode and if feels good to be so close to the end.
This was the first cache we found today that we wanted to sign. We followed the geotrail and within a very short time GK spotted the cache. We signed the log and returned it as we had found it.
Then we went and checked out the wee Tui station, it looks as though it has some interesting information on the walls, but the building was all tightly locked up today so we could not access the information panels. We might need to suss out when it is open so that we can come back and have a read.

We are camping overnight in our motorhome fairly close and took a stroll along to this one in the evening so very quiet which pleases me as I could have looked suspicious! Luckily spotted a tell tale sign and this nicely hidden cache was mine to sign. Thanks.

I do have a problem with my sight sometimes, especially in areas like this, but the GPS gave us an accurate GZ and the second pair of eyes soon spotted what I didn't. Recent work in the area has not disturbed cache site, but is very close. The train came and went while we were there. tftc

Some construction work has been going on here. Check if the cache is still here. with extent and scope of work, there is a good chance that it has been muggled.
