I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Day 3 in NZ and the Wellington weather gods were content today. Sunshine and gentle breezes made for excellent caching conditions. I had a chat with a local bush walker and she said the Wellington's weather reputation was much maligned and not entirely accurate. Anyway she was making the most of today and so was I although I do not enjoy these muddy tracks. Give me tinder-dry, snake-infested Australian bush any day ! But I am enjoying the contrasting, impenetrable bush here.
Today I worked on the southern side of the city and at times I could see the south island across the Cook Straight.
Didn't find this one.
Thanks anyway GeoMaccy

I poured the water out of the container. Both logs were soaking wet. We signed a pink sticky and popped it into the damp bag. TFTC
Wet & rusty. Impossible to sign the logbook. Put a piece of paper as replacement log. TFTC
A place where muggles frequent
So with trepidation off I went
One washing car to make it bright
But I managed to stay out of sight
Cache was quickly found
Where it lived underground
The hide was whacky
Thanks GeoMaccy

4/3/17 - Started a Geocache adventure today. Aiming for a new personal best of number of caches in a single day. I donned my running gear, grabbed a backpack and got going the weather was awesome this afternoon. Managed to get 20 caches today, a new PB!
As for this cache, I ended up finding two decoys, and scrambled around for a while trying to find the goods. After rechecking the coords (which actually were spot on btw) I soon had the cache in hand and log signed. Damp logbook though, tftc

Finally! WIth family living very close to GZ I have had a quick look for this one on several occasions, but always without success. Today I decided to have another go since it has been found recently, and found it straight away, in a hidey hole I had checked on each other occasion.

TFTC lid had come off so everything a little wet. Found lid so all back in place
Cache # 3,493 - Been looking at doing this for quite a while. Knew it had been missing at one point. But seeing it found recently decided to give it a go. A quick find today in the second spot I looked. Cut my finger on the first spot. All well with the cache. TNLNSL. TFTC!

Great cache! Thank you! We were picking up some local ones on my bid to get to 200 before my caching 1st yr anniversary in 3 days - this was #199 but our last for the day.
Co-ords were good and its a clever hide, we found a few snail holes before we found the cache though.

#189. Well, turns out it wasn't a gone burger after all, as I said in my DNF in July. Maybe the GPS lead me to the wrong pipe?! Happy to record another success, and tick this one off! Took the trackable geocoin for its next adventure. Tftc
A nice quick find. had a muggle ask if we were collecting our drugs!! Had to explain what we were doing!! Them seemed rather interested, maybe some new caches!! Day two of our road trip with jordiporsche from hawkes bay to welly and return. Log signed as b&p.Tftc GeoMaccy NoaHolmes345 Chopper-Luka. Find # 3265
A quick stop and find at this spot until the builders were interested in what we were doing so a geaocachjng explanation was given. TFTC:)
The quickest find ever! I wonder how we did that?
No insider trading I'm sure!

A quick find in the drizzly rain by geokitten007 - I think she had insider knowledge. Perfect day for park and grabs.Tftc
First day back in NZ and grabbed this one on the way to Island Bay. Nice to see a new clean log sheet. TFTC.
A quick find on a quiet street. Log was soaking wet. Have added a replacement log and some protection. TFTC
A speedy romp around the area collecting some random caches. This was one.
Cache in need of attention please. Logs very wet and only signed with difficulty. An otherwise straightforward find.
TFTC found with team cacher Sweet P too
The Turtle strikes again!

Found on the second Momentum 'geocache my neighbourhood' session. TharnTheHalkan took us around Island Bay. A lovely area. We love finding new places when we geocache.
#621 6:54 am Quick find but I had to time approach between jogging muggles. Log damp. TFT(grassy knol)C.
A very wet log book filled with Wellington storm water! Too wet to sign. Didn't have a replacement on us sorry. Left some scrap paper though.tftc
#2225 Out and about knocking off a few more Wellington caches while the weather is playing nice. Parked nearby and made the retrieval with no issues. TFTC!
#7662. A quick diversion to Clyde Street in Island Bay. All quiet at this time. Quick find. The cache was in excellent condition, all nice and dry inside. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log.

Urge - snails !!! Great wee hidey. Was doing maintenance on some of my nearby caches and grabbed this one. TFTC Felix!
Success at the fourth cache of the morning. Found the cache after I'd persuaded a whole load of snails to move!
Nice little hiding spot. Nice spot for a wee rest before heading back down the hill. Thanks.
I can't believe I didn't spot this on my previous visit - however I was in muggle range that time so I didn't spend much time on it. TFTC
Checked out a few possibilities before zeroing in on the right place. An enjoyable little series well concealed on what must at times be a busy road. TFTC
Another well hidden hide, found on a quiet muggy morning while in the area. TFTC GeoMaccy, #8468
This is my first geo caching find found out about it today it was easy to find coordinates are very accurate
I see what people mean by the distractions, sneaky hide : ) good coordinates. Tftc
Found with Archer Busy little corner - had to wait for a while to get it back on a piping hot day tftc
A number of people in the street (coming back from holiday, going kayaking for the day etc). Originally went past and come back. Fairly easy find. TFTC
Plenty of distractions of a similar name in this area but UlmusLynx chose the right one.
Spotted the pipe as I rode up to the top of Clyde Street on my motorbike. Once a muggle motorist had left, it was an easy enough job to reach inside and retrieve the cache. Nice hide! TFTC.
Walked here through the zig zag with geo kids,as Hyjynx brought the car up from the football field cache area.
by the time she turned up in street had cache in hand, so after signing in, we both had a walk back so she could see the hidey home.
Cache and log seem dry, and co ords pretty good, hint spot on as well.
Cheers

Another great find while out in the area with Just-Lookin.
